Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, incumbent organizations like BPRCCo must undergo Digital Transformation (DT) to remain competitive. However, a significant challenge in this process is ensuring information security, a critical factor often leading to the failure of DT initiatives. Previous studies have emphasized the importance of ambidextrous information security management—balancing traditional and agile approaches—for large banks in achieving successful DT, particularly concerning information security. However, this approach has yet to be validated for small-scale banks like BPRs. Therefore, this research aims to develop tailored recommendations for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) suitable for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and assess the potential enhancements in their capabilities to support DT. The research employs Design Science Research (DSR) methodology, encompassing problem identification, requirements specification, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation phases. Data was gathered through interviews and data analysis, and subsequently analyzed using the ISMS framework aligned with the ISO 27001:2022 standard. The risk analysis and review of previous studies revealed that 29 control in the PDCA cycle and Annex are critical priorities for BPRCCo. Based on this, several ISMS-based solutions were designed. These recommendations are presented as an implementation roadmap that can guide BPRCCo in preparing and fully implementing ISMS in crucial areas to support its DT efforts. This research contributes to the understanding of ISMS in small-scale banking, offering valuable insights through a case study approach relevant to SMEs and similar organizations.

Abstract

Dengan semakin meningkatnya implementasi TI, hampir semua sektor, termasuk sektor keuangan, dipengaruhi untuk melakukan digitalisasi. Digitalisasi telah memunculkan inovasi Financial Technology (Fintech) dalam industri keuangan. Namun, Fintech menghadapi risiko keamanan informasi, yang juga berlaku untuk FintechCo. Sebagai perusahaan di bawah naungan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) dan diatur oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), FintechCo diharuskan untuk mematuhi regulasi yang mewajibkan pengawasan independen dan mengadopsi prinsip tata kelola TI yang mendorong keterbukaan, akuntabilitas, tanggung jawab, kemandirian, dan keadilan. Studi ini mengikuti pendekatan Design Science Research (DSR), yang terdiri dari lima tahap: problem explication, requirement specification, design and development, demonstration, dan evaluation. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan triangulasi dokumen internal dan eksternal. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan kerangka kerja COBIT 2019 Information Security. Penelitian ini berfokus pada faktor-faktor desain yang menghasilkan tujuan tata kelola dan manajemen TI (TKMTI), yaitu APO13 Managed Security, DSS05 Managed Security Services, dan APO12 Managed Risk. Kesenjangan yang diidentifikasi kemudian ditangani dengan rekomendasi berdasarkan aspek people, process, dan technology yang dapat memitigasi risiko keamanan informasi FintechCo. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap basis pengetahuan mengenai analisis prioritas manajemen keamanan informasi dalam konteks digitalisasi organisasi. Studi ini juga memberikan wawasan implikasi praktis yang relevan untuk FintechCo secara khususnya, dan industri Fintech pada umumnya. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus dalam merancang pengelolaan layanan Teknologi Informasi (TI) untuk melanjutkan penelitian sebelumnya yang membahas mekanisme Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi (TKTI) yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan Transformasi Digital (TD). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Design Science Research (DSR) dan kerangka kerja COBIT 2019 Governance and Management Objectives (GMO) dengan studi kasus perusahaan asuransi yang menerapkan prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) sesuai arahan Permen BUMN Nomor: PER-02-MBU-03-2023 dan akselerasi digital pada Master Plan Sektor Jasa Keuangan Indonesia 2021-2025. Pengumpulan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan wawancara semi-terstruktur dan triangulasi dokumen. Berdasarkan analisis prioritas berbasis faktor desain dan studi pengaruh TKTI terhadap TD didapatkan tiga GMO yaitu DSS05-Managed Security Service, DSS04-Managed Continuity, dan APO04-Managed Innovation. Kemudian dilakukan perancangan tujuh komponen GMO berdasarkan temuan kesenjangan, yang diestimasi dapat meningkatkan nilai kapabilitas proses sebesar 0,17 atau 6,64%. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap knowledge base penelitian, serta bermanfaat praktis bagi InsurCo secara khusus, dan industri asuransi pada umumnya. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menjadi tantangan bagi sektor jasa keuangan dalam mempertahankan daya saing dan adaptasi pada ekonomi digital. Transformasi digital menjadi kunci, termasuk untuk BankCo, sebuah perusahaan perbankan milik negara diawasi oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan Design Science Research dan kerangka kerja COBIT 2019 DevOps dalam menilai tujuh komponen pengelolaan teknologi informasi berdasarkan wawancara dan triangulasi dokumen. Melalui analisis faktor desain, pemetaan fokus, dan relevansi terhadap penelitian sebelumnya tentang tata kelola TI yang mempengaruhi transformasi digital, tiga kendali utama ditentukan: BAI03 Managed Solutions Identification and Build, DSS05 Managed Security Services, dan BAI07 Managed IT Change Acceptance and Transitioning. Evaluasi mengungkapkan kesenjangan dalam pengelolaan tersebut, mendorong rekomendasi perbaikan. Hasilnya, diperkirakan terjadi peningkatan kematangan rata-rata sebesar 6,19% pada ketiga kendali utama. Penelitian ini memberi kontribusi pada pemahaman penggunaan COBIT 2019 DevOps dalam pengembangan TI yang responsif terhadap perubahan, serta memberikan panduan praktis bagi sektor perbankan, khususnya BankCo. Abstract

Kompetensi Pengetahuan, Lingkungan Kerja Fisik dan Motivasi Internal mempunyai pengaruh yang besar pada Kinerja Guru SMK di Yayasan Budiniah. Dari ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dibuktikan bahwa penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi Pengetahuan dan Lingkungan Kerja Fisik terhadap Kinerja Guru SMK di Yayasan Budiniah dengan Motivasi Internal sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Yayasan Budiniah, melalui sampel penelitian terhadap 50 orang guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik metode wawancara, kuisioner, juga observasi. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif, dalam pengolahan data digunakan aplikasi SPSS, untuk uji data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji reliabilitas, uji validitas, uji statistik dan uji asumsi klasik, sebagai alat analisis data digunakan analisis regresi dengan path analisis atau analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Kompetensi Pengetahuan dan Lingkungan Kerja Fisik memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru. Sementara itu Motivasi Internal dapat memediasi hubungan antara Kompetensi Pengetahuan dan Lingkungan Kerja Fisik dengan Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Along with the industrial revolution 4.0, incumbent organizations such as BPRBCo need to carry out Digital Transformation (DT) to stay relevant. However, many DT failures are suspected to be caused by suboptimal IT Governance (ITG). Previous research has shown the importance of ambidextrous ITG (traditional and agile hybrid) for large banks with the use of the COBIT 2019 framework that focuses on IT services, information security, and DevOps. However, this approach has not been proven to also apply to small banks. Therefore, this study aims to compile and design recommendations for priority ITG solutions for SME-scale organizations and estimate the increase in maturity level capabilities to support DT success. This study uses five stages of Design Science Research (DSR), namely problem identification, requirements specification, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and documents triangulation, then analyzed using the SME focus area of COBIT 2019. Based on the priority analysis based on design factors and previous studies, 3 prioritized ITG objectives were found, namely EDM03 Ensured Risk Optimization, MEA03 Managed Compliance with External Requirements, and DSS01 Managed Operations with an average capability maturity level of 3.3. Based on the findings of these gaps, 5 essential solutions were recommended and designed based on 7 ITGM components. These recommendations were then compiled into an implementation roadmap as a priority reference for BPRBCo which is expected to increase its capability to 3.5 if implemented properly. This study contributes to the ITG knowledge base for DT in small banks as a case study of SMEs and provides practical implications for the management of similar organizations.

Abstract

SmartCo, a digital infrastructure provider, faces IoT governance challenges (security, privacy, regulation) despite leveraging IoT for digital transformation. To address this, this research proposes an ambidextrous IoT governance framework that balances exploration (innovation and adaptation) and exploitation (efficiency of existing resources). The framework integrates COBIT 2019 with agile DevOps practices to optimize IT resource value and performance. Employing the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology an approach in Information Systems that provides structured guidance for designing, evaluating, and validating technological solutions, the study assessed the current governance environment, identified design factors, and prioritized Governance and Management Objectives (GMOs). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, guided by structured questions, and validated using internal documents in iterative analysis cycles until saturation was reached. DSS05 (Managed Security Services) emerged as the most critical domain. In COBIT 2019, DSS05 includes coordination and execution of IT operational procedures, such as SOPs and monitoring. The governance capability was found at level 3. Gaps included the lack of IoT unit test documentation with a security focus and unclear responsibilities of Testing and Release Managers. Recommendations include defining clearer responsibilities to the testing and release manager roles and mandating security-based unit testing before release. These improvements are projected to raise the DSS05 maturity level from 3.71 to 3.85. This study contributes by offering a tailored IoT governance solution for SmartCo and demonstrating the practical use of ambidextrous COBIT 2019 to manage innovation in dynamic technology environments.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a key enabler of digital transformation in telecommunications, improving operational efficiency and customer experience. However, telecom companies face governance challenges such as regulatory compliance risks, security vulnerabilities, and limited risk management capabilities, hindering effective AI adoption. This case study aims to address AI adoption challenges by developing an ambidextrous AI governance framework based on COBIT 2019 and DevOps. Using design science research methodology, the framework was designed and evaluated through semi-structured interviews with key TelCo stakeholders and validated with internal documents until data saturation was reached. The analysis applied the ambidextrous COBIT 2019 framework across seven governance components. Governance and Management Objectives (GMOs) were prioritized based on design factors, devops,  national regulations (SOE Minister No.PER-2/MBU/03/2023 and ICT Minister No.5/2021), and literature. As a result, APO12 (Managed Risk) was selected as the key objective. Recommendations include formalizing AI governance roles, enhancing AI-related risk training, and implementing advanced GRC and automation tools. This improvement will increase the APO12 maturity level from 3.83 to 4.66. This improvement will enhance TelCo’s capabilities in risk management, compliance, and innovation, offering practical insights for practitioners and contributing to the academic discourse on ambidextrous AI governance for sustainable digital transformation.

Abstract

Cloud computing plays a crucial role in accelerating digital transformation within the telecommunications sector by enhancing operational efficiency, scalability, and service innovation. However, TelCo faces difficulties in aligning its cloud adoption with effective governance, particularly in ensuring continuous service delivery and resilience. This study proposes a cloud governance framework based on the ambidextrous integration of COBIT 2019 Traditional components and DevOps Focus Area. Employing a Design Science Research methodology, data were collected through semi-structured interviews guided by a structured questionnaire and triangulated with internal documents until data saturation was achieved. Governance and Management Objectives were prioritized using the ambidextrous COBIT 2019 lens, supported by regulatory guidelines from the SOE Minister No. PER-2/MBU/03/2023 and the ICT Minister No. 5/2021, as well as relevant prior studies. The analysis highlighted DSS04: Managed Continuity as the most critical focus area. A capability gap assessment identified vacant leadership roles, overlapping responsibilities, and the lack of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation in cloud services. Recommended improvements include formal assignment of leadership positions, clarification of IT responsibilities, and the adoption of IaC practices. These enhancements are expected to raise the capability maturity of DSS04 from 3.25 to 3.87, representing a 0.62 increase in business continuity readiness. This study contributes to research by extending ambidextrous governance theory to cloud continuity management and provides practical guidance for telecommunications providers seeking to improve operational resilience and manage risks effectively in their digital transformation efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning of Audio Visual Media on the language skills of PAUD Mekar Harum I students in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was conducted in class B2 with 12 students consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls with an age range of 5-6 years. The focus of this research is on the learning process of audio-visual media and language skills, especially on students' speaking skills during the audio-visual media learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory type of field research. Based on the results of the study that in the learning process, there are 3 stages carried out by the teacher, namely the preparation, implementation and assessment/evaluation stages. Preparatory activities are carried out by preparing lesson plans, preparing tools and media. At the implementation stage, the activity process is carried out with three stages, namely opening, core, and closing, while at the learning assessment/evaluation stage it is carried out by giving an assessment according to the results of students' abilities on the assessment sheet about students' attitudes, knowledge and skills. The supporting factors of learning include the availability of facilities, support from the principal, the availability of learning resources, and the teacher's ability to use audio-visual media while the inhibiting factors in the application of audio-visual media are determining videos according to the theme and interests of children, and the occurrence of internet network disruptions. The impact of the application of audio visual media on children's language skills is that it can improve the ability to speak articulation / pronunciation, improve the ability to speak in compiling sentences into a story, and help children in expressing their feelings. The advantages of applying audio visual media are durable and long-lasting, making the video screen on the TV larger in size, saving teacher energy in explaining, providing variations in learning methods, material is easy to understand, and can improve language skills in children. While the shortcomings of the application of audio visual media are cellphone connections to TVs that are often disconnected and cellphone audio visual media connected to this TV need extra care to be safe, not to fall and break.
