Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan downtime pada industri biskuit, dengan studi kasus pada PT XYZ. Downtime pada PT XYZ sering terjadi pada bagian pengemasan yang menggunakan sistem kontinyu yang berdampak pada kerugian perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi lini pengemasan yang mengalami downtime, menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya downtime pada suatu lini pengemasan, dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengurangi downtime pada lini pengemasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode quality tools untuk mencapai tujuan. Diagram pareto digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi lini pengemasan dan mencari kejadian yang paling sering terjadi hingga mengakibatkan downtime. Diagram Ishikawa digunakan untuk mencari akar permasalahan. Diagram pohon digunakan untuk mencari solusi. Diagram PDPC digunakan untuk mencari potensi masalah yang akan timbul ketika rekomendasi dilaksanakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan lini pengemasan delapan merupakan lini dengan downtime tertinggi. Penyebab downtime dari lini delapan adalah plastik OPP yang sering putus. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan adalah agar dilakukan kegiatan preventive maintenance secara rutin, teratur dan terspesialisasi serta pembuatan instruksi kerja sebagai bentuk standarisasi jalannya kegiatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas mesin produksi gula dalam rangka meminumkan pemborosan (losses) yang terjadi pada Pabrik Gula Pandjie Situbondo. Analisis efektivitas mencakup perhitungan pemborosan (losses), dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengurangi penyebab losses di Pabrik Gula Pandjie Situbondo. Pengukuran efektivitas mesin menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), perhitungan nilai losses menggunakan pendekatan six big losses, dan analisis penyebab losses dan rekomendasinya menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai OEE pada stasiun gilingan, stasiun pemurnian, stasiun penguapan, stasiun pemasakan, dan stasiun puteran berada pada rentang 60%-84% yang artinya produksi dianggap wajar tetapi menunjukkan ada ruang besar untuk improvement. Hasil analisis six big losses pada setiap stasiun menunjukkan bahwa faktor losses yang paling berpengaruh adalah reduced speed losses

Abstract

Kabupaten Jember merupakan daerah di Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi besar pada sektor pertanian, dengan kelapa sebagai salah satu komoditas unggulannya. Hampir seluruh bagian kelapa dapat dimanfaatkan, termasuk tempurungnya. Tempurung kelapa dapat diolah menjadi arang untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah limbah tempurung. Pengembangan agroindustri arang tempurung kelapa di Kabupaten Jember memiliki prospek yang cukup baik, karena ketersediaan bahan baku yang melimpah dan permintaan yang terus meningkat. Namun, optimalisasi manajemen rantai pasok diperlukan untuk memastikan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengembangan agroindustri arang tempurung kelapa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh rekomendasi strategi yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengembangkan agroindustri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) untuk menentukan pelaku rantai pasok yang paling dominan dan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan agroindustri. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, struktur rantai pasok arang tempurung kelapa yaitu petani kelapa, pedagang tempurung kelapa, produsen arang, distributor, dan konsumen. Petani kelapa dan pedagang tempurung kelapa berperan sebagai pemasok tempurung kepada produsen, yang selanjutnya diolah menjadi arang dan menjualnya ke distributor dan konsumen. Pelaku utama pada rantai pasok adalah petani sebagai pihak yang menyediakan bahan baku yang berada pada Sektor IV (Level 7). Sementara itu, strategi pengembangan agroindustri arang tempurung kelapa yaitu pengembangan teknologi dan inovasi (bobot 0,4550). Strategi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi hubungan antar pelaku rantai pasok, khususnya antara agroindustri arang tempurung kelapa, petani kelapa, dan pedagang tempurung kelapa. Strategi ini diharapkan dapat menjamin mutu produk, meningkatkan efisiensi, dan menstabilkan atau menurunkan harga bahan baku yang dapat meningkatkan permintaan arang tempurung kelapa.

Abstract

PG. Pradjekan merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memiliki andil dalam pasokan gula dalam negeri. Gula yang dihasilkan berasal dari tebu yang melewati 5 stasiun proses produksi yakni stasiun gilingan, pemurnian, penguapan, masakan, dan putaran. Pada setiap stasiun proses produksi banyak melibatkan mesin – mesin berukuran besar dan alat-alat yang memiliki potensi risiko operasional cukup tinggi dan dapat menimbulkan potensi bahaya hingga mengakibatkan kecelakaan kerja pada pekerja. Sejak tahun 2016 PG. Pradjekan telah menjalankan SMK3, namun ternyata kecelakaan kerja masih saja terjadi disetiap tahunnya. Ada 4 kasus kecelakaan kerja yang tercatat dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021 dengan kategori kecelakaan berat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya dan penilaian risiko pada setiap staisun proses produksi gula kemudian dilakukan  pengendalian risiko apa yang harus diterapkan, sehingga dapat dilakukan tindakan pengendalian yang tepat.Teknik analisa bahaya yang cukup tepat menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi adalah dengan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Hasil FMEA merupakan urutan prioritas dari failure mode yang memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui ada 49 potensi bahaya yang teridentifikasi dari seluruh stasiun proses produksi  gula. Hasil penilaian risiko yang memiliki nilai RPN tertinggi (kritis) yakni masuk kedalam mesin cane leaveller (extreme risk), kebocoran tangki (high risk), terjatuh dari tangga evaporator (high risk), terkena cairan gula panas (high risk) dan ledakan panel (high risk). Rekomendasi pengendalian yang diberikan berdasarkan hirarki pengendalian yaitu, engineering control, administrative control dan alat pelindung diri.

Abstract

Crispy chicken and crispy mushrooms are examples of processed products using crispy seasoned flour. There are many spice flour producers, from small, medium, and large to micro industries. UD. LIBAS is one of the producers of crispy seasoning flour on a home industry scale (MSMEs). This research aims to improve the quality of “IIBAS” crispy seasoned flour through product rebranding. The research stages that be carried out are the process of data collection, analysis, and interpretation to achieve the research objectives. The existing brand of crispy seasoning flour "IIBAS" includes main elements such as visual identity, product excellence and the values it promotes. Visual identity includes a logo, attractive packaging, tagline, and color choices that reflect the value and quality of the product. The brand positioning of "IIBAS" crispy seasoned flour includes superior taste and a more affordable price compared to competitors. Important attributes of "IIBAS" crispy seasoned flour include ease of reading information on packaging and product distribution, which is a top priority for improvement. The level of consumer satisfaction towards "IIBAS" crispy seasoned flour reached 79.42% (satisfied category). Thus, it is hoped that this branding will increase the value of UD. LIBAS's crispy seasoned flour products and increase market share and sales turnover, thereby increasing the profits of the MSME producers. Keywords: branding, crispy, logo, MSMEs

Abstract

This study aims to apply the new seven quality control tools (new 7QC tools) method in controlling the quality of robusta coffee beans in state-owned plantation companies. This research is a case study at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII, Silosanen Plantation, Jember Regency. Data processing uses the new 7QC tools method which consists of three stages, including (i) identification of quality problems using affinity diagrams and relationship diagrams; (ii) analysis of quality problems using tree diagrams, matrix diagrams, and matrix data analysis; (iii) planning quality improvement using arrow diagrams and process decision program charts. The results showed that quality 1 of robusta coffee beans which were considered defective were recorded at 21.81%. The results of the identification of the main cause of the emergence of defects in the coffee beans are the lack of supervision during the processing. The results of the analysis of quality problems indicate that improving the supervision of workers, can be started by focusing on each worker's tasks in improving worker performance, better environmental and material conditioning, method improvement, and optimization of machine use. The recommended improvement plans to improve supervision of workers include carrying out production activities according to a predetermined sequence and determining the number of workers according to production needs to facilitate supervision.

Abstract

Mocaf is one of the leading agrotechnopreneurship products in Jember District. As a business activity, mocaf agrotechnopreneurship development is faced with uncertainties that can lead to unwanted risks. This study aimed to manage risk in the development of mocaf agrotechnopreneurship so that it can become a reference for people in Jember District in developing their business. The methods used for risk management in this study included the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) approach for risk identification, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) for risk assessment, fishbone diagrams for risk evaluation, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Pugh methods for risk mitigation. This study shows that there are many identified potential risks in developing mocaf agrotechnopreneurship in Jember District, some of which are critical risks. Based on the criticality matrix analysis, three main risks have been obtained in developing mocaf agrotechnopreneurship, including perishable raw materials, low public knowledge about mocaf, and increasing prices of cassava as a raw material. Evaluation regarding the causes of the three risks includes human factors, methods, facilities, and the environment. Risk mitigation results show that the strategy that can be applied is to set particular specifications for raw materials to deal with perishable raw materials, conduct education through various media to increase public knowledge, and establish partnerships with farmers or collectors to overcome rising raw material prices. Abstract

The development of information technology, especially in digital marketing, has brought significant changes in how companies interact with consumers and build company brand images, including Perum BULOG Jember Branch. This research aims to increase awareness of the "Beras Kita" brand as BULOG's premium rice product and strengthen the brand's position in the minds of consumers with a brand positioning strategy that includes designing a visual identity, namely designing a new logo and tagline, as well as through a digital marketing strategy for premium rice products. premium at Perum BULOG Jember Branch. This research uses the ME-MCDM (Multi-Expert Multi-Criteria Decision Making) method for selecting logos and taglines and the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to determine digital marketing strategy priorities. The recommended digital marketing strategy, which has the highest priority, is using local influencers. Implementing this strategy is expected to improve the unfavorable brand image and strengthen the position of the "Beras Kita" brand in the market. Abstract

Raw material inventory is one of the most expensive assets of the company, especially at national private companies in Banyuwangi is developing a frozen vannamei shrimp agro-industry with PND commercial products (Peeled and Devained). Companies often experience problems with losing sales profits if export demand tends to increase, because companies have not maximized their inventory management. So by using a three-level supply chain management approach, namely the level of finished products, the level of processing and the level of raw materials, it is important to ensure the availability of finished products at any time. Through this approach, the average amount of raw material needed for production of each PND product is PND 26/30 of 12,333.33 kg/month, 31/40 of 75,416.67 kg/month, 41/50. 28,750 kg/month, 51/60 42,250 kg/month, 61/70 21,083.33 kg/month, and 71/90 11,083.33 kg/month. so that the company's service level for PND finished products is above 100%, which is an average of 111,39%.

Abstract

The pandemic several years ago has impacted employment problems with the increase in the number of unemployed in Jember Regency. One effort can be made to develop agrotechnopreneurship as a community business.  This study aims to analyze the prospects for developing agrotechnopreneurship by utilizing the potential of the agricultural sector in Jember Regency.  The analysis focused on potential agrotechnopreneurship products developed in Jember Regency today: mocaf, chili sauce, coconut briquettes, shredded catfish, and cow's milk kefir.  This research uses a prospective analysis method structured based on states that may occur in the future.  The results showed several scenarios for developing potential agrotechnopreneurship in Jember Regency, generally including optimistic and pessimistic scenarios.  The development of agrotechnopreneurship in chili sauce, coconut briquettes, shredded catfish, and cow's milk kefir has an optimistic scenario, indicating a promising potential for future growth. This optimistic scenario can be realized if the key factors in the development of agrotechnopreneurship can be improved as expected. Meanwhile, the development of mocaf agrotechnopreneurship has a pessimistic scenario. Keywords: agrotechnopreneurship, Jember Regency, prospective analysis, the agricultural sector
