Abstract

Three steroids, ergosterol (1), ergosterol peroxide (2) and stigmasterol (3) have been isolated from endophytic fungus, Lasiodiplodia theobromae derived from the root of Aglaia argentea Blume. The steroids were isolated by vacuum chromatography and column chromatography, the chemical structure was established following the analysis of 1D-NMR, 2D-NMR, IR, MS and by comparison with previously reported spectra data. Ergosterol peroxide (2) and stigmasterol (3) were reported for the first time isolated from Lasiodiplodia theobromae endophytic fungus. Cytotoxic activities of the compounds were tested with resazurin assay against HeLa cervical cancer cells, compound 2 displayed strongest cytotoxic activities against HeLa cervical cancer cells with IC50 values of 0.28 µM, while compounds 1 and 3 showed IC50 values of 0.34 µM and 27.32 µM, respectively

Abstract

Patient satisfaction during hospitalization is still in low category. The low patient satisfaction isinfluenced by several factors, one of which is the scheduling of nurse service. This study wasmade to know the correlation between scheduling of nurse service and patient satisfication levelat RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin hospital. This research used correlation design with cross sectionalapproach and accidental sampling technique. Research respondents amounted to 92 people.December 2017 research period and measuring instruments used in the form of questionnaires.The result of the analysis shows that there is a positive relationship between scheduling of nursesservice that is perceived by patient with patient satisfaction level in ward of RSUD UlinBanjarmasin. (P Value = 0,000 <0.05). Suggestion of this research is expected to head of roomand nurse to cooperate in determining good service scheduling with manager direction for thecreation of optimal service for patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Painting therapy is a therapy which encourages someone to express and to understand the emotiontrough artistic expressions and creative process to be able to cure cognitive, affective, andpsychomotoric functions. This study was aimed to find the effect of painting therapy on theschizophrenia patients’ cognitive. This study used pre-experiment method with design approach onegroup pre and post design. The respondents involved in this study were 30 patients with accidentalsampling. The data collection was done using cognitive ability measurement before and after thepainting therapy. The experiment analysis used T- test dependent. The result of the study showed thatthere was an effect of painting therapy treatment on the schizophrenia patients’ cognitive at SambangLihum psyichiatric hospital with the significant value of 0.000 which meant p< 0.05. It was suggestedto apply painting therapy on schizophrenia patients to improve their cognitive function.

Abstract

Motivasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang berperan penting bagi ODHA dalam menjalani program pengobatan ARV. Jika motivasi ODHA rendah maka berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan ODHA tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi gambaran motivasi ODHA dalam menjalani program pengobatan ARV berdasarkan karakteristik demografi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif non eksperimen dengan sampel ODHA yang menjalani program pengobatan ARV di RSUD Dr. H. Moch. Ansari saleh Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 47 sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan tekinik Accidental Sampling dan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniyaitu kuesioner. Dari 47 sampel didapatkan hasil penelitian yang menunjukan sejumlah 42 responden (89.3 %) dalam motivasi tinggi dan 5 responden (10.7 %) dalam motivasi rendah. Bagi pasien yang memiliki tingkat motivasi rendah diharapkan untuk aktif dalam mengikuti program-program yang diperlukan sedangkan bagi pasien yang memiliki tingkat motivasi tinggi diharapkan mampu mempertahankan motivasinya tersebut. Abstract

Makrozoobentos mempunyai habitat hidup yang relatif tetap, pergerakannya terbatas, dan hidup di dalam maupun di dasar perairan. Sifat tersebut yang menjadikan makrozoobentos baik digunakan sebagai indikator biologis di suatu perairan. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelimpahan individu, keanekaragaman jenis, dan dominansi makrozoobentos pada ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Pari, mengetahui kondisi fisik dan kimia perairan ekosistem mangrove Pulau Pari dan menganalisis keanekaragaman makrozoobentos sebagai indikator kondisi perairan di ekosistem mangrove Pulau Pari. Riset ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020 di Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu. Lokasi pengambilan data dibagi menjadi 4 stasiun dengan karakteristik yang berbeda-beda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling yang dilakukan di 4 stasiun berbeda dengan 3 plot disetiap stasiunnya. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 spesies terdiri dari 3 filum dan 4 kelas yang tersebar dalam 4 stasiun. Nilai kelimpahan makrozoobentos pada ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Pari berada pada nilai 22 – 71 ind/m2. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobentos pada ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Pari berada pada nilai 2,1 – 5,67 dengan kategori sedang sampai tinggi. Nilai indeks dominansi makrozoobentos pada ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Pari berada pada nilai 0,15 – 0,84 dengan kategori rendah sampai tinggi. Kualitas perairan ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Pari yang meliputi suhu, pH, DO, dan salinitas menunjukkan kualitas yang baik dan mampu untuk mendukung kehidupan makrozoobentos. Hasil analisa hubungan parameter perairan dengan keanekaragaman makrozoobentos menunjukkan bahwa pH memiliki korelasi sangat kuat negatif, suhu memiliki korelasi kuat negatif, DO memiliki korelasi sedang positif, dan salinitas memiliki korelasi sedang negatif.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) di abad ke-21 memerlukan pendekatan yang relevan dengan tuntutan zaman. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi, pendidik PAUD harus mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, memahami keberagaman budaya dan sosial anak, serta memperhatikan perkembangan psikologis anak yang semakin kompleks. Pendampingan pembelajaran menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang relevan dalam mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Melalui pendampingan pembelajaran, pendidik PAUD dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang kebutuhan individual anak, meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dengan anak-anak, serta memperluas repertoar strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan perkembangan anak di abad ke-21. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan PAUD di abad ke-21. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan dan pelatihan kepada pendidik PAUD tentang pendampingan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan tuntutan zaman. Bahwa melalui program ini, pendidik PAUD mampu memberikan pendidikan yang lebih relevan dan berkualitas kepada anak-anak, sehingga mereka dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik di abad ke-21. Dengan demikian, kami berharap dapat memberikan kontribusi yang positif bagi pendidikan anak usia dini di Indonesia

Abstract

The Greater Bird-of-Paradise (Paradisaea apoda) is a bird that performs a courtship display (lekking) to attract females during the mating season. The objective of this study was to examine the display behavior of adult and sub-adult males on lek trees as a learning process by a sub-adult and identify the lek trees. The research was conducted in the Tunas Timber Lestari Ltd. Production Forest in central mainland Papua, in a non-breeding season. After a lek tree was found, a video recording was conducted. Analysis was performed from the video. The lek tree was an emergent species with a dense canopy. An adult male was observed to perform a dance display in front of sub-adult males, even in the absence of females. When adult males performed display, the sub-adult were observed the adult males in an upside-down position. The sub-adult also danced, but not as complete as the adult, suggesting that there was a learning process by the sub-adult. This study revealed that the sub-adult/young males of the bird-of-paradise has the ability to dance inherit from their fathers, and then perfect the dance through practice and watching adults. The lek tree surely need to be protected for the survival for this species.

Abstract

The rise of antibiotic resistance presents a major challenge, reducing the efficacy of conventional antibacterial treatments and necessitating the discovery of novel antimicrobial agents. The use of natural products has played a pivotal role in the development of antibiotics. Specifically, marine organisms, with a notable emphasis on mangroves of the genus Avicennia, have played a crucial role in this process. Avicennia marina, Avicennia officinalis, Avicennia alba, and Avicennia germinans have been found to contain secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, and terpenoids, which exhibit antibacterial properties against drug-resistant pathogens. The review was conducted based on literature published between 2005 and 2025. These compounds act through diverse mechanisms such as disrupting bacterial cell walls, inhibiting protein synthesis, and interfering with quorum sensing and biofilm formation. Evaluations through disk diffusion, microdilution assay, and biofilm inhibition assays have demonstrated the significant antibacterial activity of Avicennia extracts, suggesting their potential as alternative therapeutics in combating resistant bacteria. Future research should focus on enhancing these bioactive compounds’ bioavailability, stability, and large-scale production while addressing potential toxicity and navigating the complex regulatory requirements for drug approval. The continued exploration of Avicennia-derived compounds may contribute to developing novel antibiotics, offering sustainable solutions to antibiotic resistance.

Abstract

The Motivation Socialization Activity for Students of SMK Raudhatul Mu'awanah in the Entrepreneurial Management Creativity Program in the Digital Era was carried out as an effort to foster entrepreneurial spirit and ability among vocational school students. In today's digital era, many students still have low motivation to be entrepreneurs and tend to be oriented towards being job seekers rather than job creators. In addition, the limited understanding of modern entrepreneurial management concepts and the lack of access to training and assistance in the development of technology-based business ideas are the main problems faced by students. This community service program aims to help students of SMK Raudhatul Mu'awanah in providing motivation and practical understanding of the importance of creativity and innovation in the world of entrepreneurship. Through this socialization activity, students are introduced to modern entrepreneurial management concepts that are relevant to the development of the digital world, such as the use of social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing strategies in building a business. This activity also emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, collaboration, and networking between students, teachers, and local business actors, so as to create an environment that supports the spirit of entrepreneurship. The implementation method is carried out through socialization activities with a participatory approach, in the form of material delivery, interactive discussions, and simple simulations on how to maintain and increase motivation about entrepreneurship creatively through digital. The material covers the basic concepts of motivation, the factors that affect motivation, as well as practical steps such as time management, goal setting, and strengthening the growth mindset. With this method, students not only gain knowledge, but also hands-on experience in understanding the importance of Entrepreneurial Creativity in the Digital Era for their future. The expected results of this activity are increased motivation and interest in students to be creative entrepreneurs through digital roles, the emergence of new technology-based business ideas, and the formation of student entrepreneurship groups (studentpreneur clubs) as a forum for the development of entrepreneurship programs at SMK Raudhatul Mu'awanah. Abstract

The use of bacteria as a biological control agent in aquaculture is such new hope overcoming the negative impacts of the impropriate use of antibiotics. Bacillus is widely known as a potential probiotic for aquaculture, especially which are derived from aquatic biota. Due to a concern that the role of Bacillus as a probiotic agent will be disrupted by residues of antibiotics in the water, this research aimed to identify Bacillus species from common carp intestine based on the molecular method and investigate their resistance to some com-mercial antibiotics that widely used in aquaculture. Chloramphenicol, ampicillin, and metronidazole were used to determine the Bacillus resistance to antibiotics using the Kirby Bauer method. The resistance assay was carried out with a bacterial density of 108 CFU/mL. The results showed that Bacillus isolates derived from common carp  intestine were closely related and resistant to antibiotics. Isolates that resistant to the three types of antibiotics were Cc.1.9 (CgN9) and Cc.2.18 (CgM18).
