Abstract

Sistem agribisnis yang terdiri dari beberapa subsektor dimana setiap subsektor memiliki peran dalam kegiatan agribisnis kopi arabika. Perbaikan dan peningkatan sistem agribisnis kopi arabika merupakan hal yang penting bagi pelaku agribisnis kopi arabika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem agribisnis kopi arabika. Metode penentuan daerah penelitian ini dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive method). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analitik. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis pendapatan, analisis nilai tambah metode hayami, dan analisis TOWS. Subsektor sarana input produksi terdiri dari penyediaan bibit unggul, pupuk, alat-alat usahatani, tenaga kerja dan modal. Subsektor usahatani memiliki pendapatan sebesar Rp 9.619.907,01 per Hektar dan nilai efisiensi sebesar 1,32. Subsektor pengolahan kopi gelondong merah menjadi kopi green bean memiliki nilai tambah sebesar Rp. 12.524,44/ kg, dan proses pengolahan kopi green bean menjadi kopi bubuk sebesar Rp 83.404,44/kg. Subsektor pemasaran yang efisien meliputi petani menjual kopi kepada UPH dan UPH menjual ke konsumen. Subsektor sarana penunjang meliputi Pemda Bondowoso, Bank Indonesia, Puslit, Bank Jatim, dan Perhutani. Strategi pengembangan di Desa Sukorejo adalah memanfaatkan bantuan dan pembinaan pemerintah dan stakeholder untuk memastikan dan menjaga penerapan MoU kluster kopi arabika dan pengolahan produk kopi arabika untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas harga kopi arabika.Kata kunci: sistem agribisnis, kopi arabika, pendapatan, nilai tambah, analisis TOWS

Abstract

Kabupaten Jember merupakan salah satu wilayah di Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi sebagai penghasil kopi yaitu dengan luas areal 16784 Ha dan produksi 11894,27 Ton. Konsumsi kopi di Kabupaten Jember cenderung meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk, dan pergeseran penduduk dari dominasi penduduk usia muda ke penduduk usia produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) persepsi konsumen terhadap produk kopi bubuk lokal (2) karakteristik yang dipentingkan konsumen kopi bubuk dari minuman kopi (3) strategi pengembangan produk yang tepat untuk kopi lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, korelasional dan analitik. Metode pengambilan contoh menggunakan convinience sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis hierarkhi proses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) persepsi dari responden menyatakan bahwa pelaku dalam industri kopi yaitu kopi Kapal Api lebih diutamakan dibandingkan kopi bubuk lokal dan kopi branded lain; (2) berdasarkan persepsi responden, maka instrumen St2 (Harga) merupakan prioritas pertama yang dipentingkan konsumen dari minuman kopi; dan (3) berdasarkan persepsi responden, maka strategi produk P5 (Rasa) dan strategi promosi P7 (Iklan) merupakan prioritas pertama yang harus dilaksanakan untuk mendukung strategi pengembangan produk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pendapatan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani sorgum di Kabupaten Situbondo. Sampel petani sorgum sebanyak 19 responden yang ditentukan dengan teknik kuota. Data dikumpulkan melalui data primer dan data sekunder yang dianalisis menggunakan analisa pendapatan dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa per hektar lahan petani dalam satu tahun usaha tani sorgum menguntungkan dengan nilai pendapatan Rp.50.342.873. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani sorgum secara parsial dipengaruhi oleh produksi, harga jual, dan biaya pestisida. Sementara secara simultan pendapatan dipengaruhi oleh luas lahan, produksi, biaya benih, biaya pupuk, biaya pestisida, harga jual, pengalaman, dan tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Since 2016, cattle farmers in Municipio Bobonaro and Municipio Covalima have carried out IB for their livestock, although there are still some farmers who do not or cannot do due to lack of access. This is related to the motivation of farmers with artificial insemination programs. The aim of our study was to determine the level of motivation regarding the cattle artificial insemination (IB) program, the level of adoption of IB program and to analyze the relationship between farmer characteristics and motivation regarding the IB program and the level of adoption of IB program innovation in cattle business in the municipality of Bobonaro and Covalima municipality. This research was conducted using a survey method approach and was carried out in the Municipio Bobonaro and Municipio Covalima. A total of 44 farmers participated in the program were included in the sample using a census strategy. Chi squared correlations, Spearman Rho, and quantitative descriptive analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the level of motivation of farmers regarding the artificial insemination program included high criteria, while the level of innovation adoption of artificial insemination programs included medium criteria. Experience of raising cattle had a significant relationship with the motivation of farmers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa fluktuasi harga, saluran, lembaga, margin dan efisiensi pemasaran cabai rawit di Desa Sepanjang. Sampel petani key informans yang digunakan sebanyak 25 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui data primer dan data sekunder yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analitik. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di Desa Sepanjang disebabkan oleh naik turunnya penawaran cabai rawit karena cuaca yang tidak menentu. Terdapat 3 saluran pemasaran cabai rawit di Desa Sepanjang. Ketiga saluran pemasaran cabai rawit di Desa Sepanjang tergolong dalam kategori efisien.

Abstract

KWT Kenanga is an agro-industry driver made from cassava in Sidoharjo Village by processing cassava into instant tiwul. However, the number of production and sales of instant tiwul product "KWT Kenanga" tends to fluctuate and the remaining product is relatively large every month. Promotion of their products is not intensively carried out so that the market share of instant tiwul is relatively narrow. The purpose of this study was to determine consumer perceptions to formulate a marketing strategy with the application of STP and marketing mix. The analytical methods used are IPA analysis, CSI analysis, crosstabs analysis, cluster analysis, and biplot analysis with a sample of 85 people. The results showed that: 1) Based on the IPA analysis, the attributes whose performance had met consumer expectations were the attributes of taste, price, and benefits, then the attributes that needed to be improved were the attributes of packaging design, texture, and color. Based on the CSI analysis, the overall consumer perception is classified as "satisfied" with a CSI value of 78.4%, 2) Based on the cluster analysis, the groups formed are 3 segments. Based on crosstabs analysis, significant variables include age, occupation, frequency of purchase, interest in re-consuming, so that the selected target market is cluster 1 and cluster 3. Based on the biplot analysis, the positioning that can be arranged is "Instant tiwul is an alternative food to replace rice that is sold at affordable prices but has several health benefits".

Abstract

Widoro Asih's instant herbal agro-industry business has the potential to be developed, because Widoro Asih's agro-industry has 20 kinds of products two of them instant tumeric herbal drink and tumeric dip pockets which have the benefit of not having sediment when it is brewing. The Widoro Asih’s agro-industry is one of the agroindustries that first created or innovated traditional herbal drink made from tumeric for sale in Nganjuk which are available in compact packaging, with a recipe preparedy by Mrs. Asih’s herself as the owner of the business. However, this business has not yet carried out detailed calculations to find out whether this business is feasible or not. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of profit, added value of the Widoro Asih’s agro-industry and the right development strategy for the Widoro Asih’s agro-industry. Analysis of the data used is TR - TC Profits, added value using the Hayami method VA = NP - IC. In addition, using the SWOT analysis method to find out the right strategy to be applied in Widoro Asih's instant herbal agro-industry business. The results showed that Widoro Asih's instant herbal agro-industry business in Ngliman Village, Sawahan District, Nganjuk Regency could be said to be positive and profitable, and feasible to implement as evidenced by the results of data calculations. While the right business development strategy to implement is the SO strategy with strategic priorities being 1) Maintaining existing markets, 2) Creating new services such as membership or special delivery discos.

Abstract

The TOGA Sari Hutani group has been actively producing traditional herbal medicine using basic ingredients of rhizomes harvested from their gardens. The problem faced by the TOGA group is that the existence of post-harvest rhizomes cannot last well for up to 2-3 months. Meanwhile, the rhizomes used as herbal medicine products have exceeded capacity, especially because consumers and marketing are still limited. According to this, the community service program team from the University of Jember proposed a product diversification from rhizomes in the form of essential oils. This product has a higher selling value and a longer shelf life than traditional herbal medicine products. Essential oil distillation technology has been applied through various activities, such as counselling, distillation practices, mentoring, and monitoring of essential oil production. The Al Kaff essential oil trader, as the second partner in this community service program, is also actively present to provide mentoring regarding essential oil product standards on the market and agreed to become an agent for collecting essential oil products produced by the Sari Hutani group.
