Abstract

This study addresses the issue of higher education graduates in Indonesia favoring employment over entrepreneurship by examining the factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions among students at private universities in the Jabodetabek area, with a focus on the moderating role of parental involvement in the relationship between entrepreneurship education, academic support, and entrepreneurial intentions. Data were collected from 143 respondents through online questionnaires using a Likert scale, with a non-probability purposive sampling technique. The data analysis, conducted using SmartPLS 4 and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), revealed that entrepreneurship education and academic support have significant direct effects on entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, the T-statistic for entrepreneurship education was 4.831, exceeding the critical threshold of 1.65, with a P-value of 0.000, indicating a strong and significant positive influence on entrepreneurial intention. Similarly, academic support yielded a T-statistic of 3.253 and a P-value of 0.001, confirming a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. However, parental involvement did not significantly moderate these relationships, as evidenced by a T-statistic of 1.399 (P-value of 0.162) for the moderation of entrepreneurship education and a T-statistic of 1.504 (P-value of 0.109) for the moderation of academic support, both of which fall below the required threshold of 1.65. These results suggest that while entrepreneurship education and academic support are critical in fostering entrepreneurial intentions, parental involvement does not significantly enhance their effects in this context. To promote entrepreneurial intentions among Indonesian students, it is recommended that educational institutions and government bodies implement curriculum improvements and provide additional support, while also encouraging parents to offer meaningful guidance and resources to support their children's entrepreneurial aspirations.

Abstract

The proliferation of user-generated content (UGC) on social media platforms has fundamentally transformed consumer purchasing behavior in the fashion industry. This study examines the multifaceted impact of UGC on consumer decision-making processes, brand perception, and purchase intentions through a systematic literature review of 51 peer-reviewed articles sourced from Scopus and Google Scholar databases, representing research from diverse geographical regions including Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Employing a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative analysis of social media interactions and quantitative assessment of consumer survey data, the research reveals three key findings: (1) UGC significantly enhances brand trust and authenticity, particularly when delivered through peer recommendations and influencer partnerships; (2) consumer engagement with UGC correlates strongly with increased purchase intentions, especially among younger demographics; and (3) the effectiveness of UGC varies based on content format, platform selection, and perceived source credibility. Drawing on this geographically diverse body of literature published between 2019-2024, this study contributes to the growing field of digital marketing research by providing actionable insights for fashion brands seeking to leverage UGC in their marketing strategies, while also highlighting the theoretical implications for understanding modern consumer behavior in the social media era.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of digital marketing as a global marketing tool for enhancing sales in home industries within the digital economy era. Using a systematic literature review methodology through the PRISMA framework, the research analyzed 46 peer-reviewed articles to explore how home industry entrepreneurs implement digital marketing strategies to expand their market reach and improve sales performance. The findings indicate that the adoption of digital marketing significantly boosts visibility and sales for home industries, allowing them to connect with consumers beyond local markets. The study emphasizes that effective digital marketing methods foster a better understanding of consumer preferences, which is crucial for tailoring marketing efforts and enhancing customer engagement. Social media emerges as a critical component, facilitating direct interaction with consumers and providing real-time feedback essential for refining marketing strategies. The study's limitations include its focus on Indonesian home industries, potentially limiting generalizability, and its reliance on existing literature rather than primary data collection. The rapid evolution of digital technologies also suggests findings may require regular updates to remain relevant. The research has practical implications for home industry owners in implementing effective digital marketing strategies, for policymakers in supporting digital literacy and infrastructure development, and for practitioners in understanding the specific needs of home industries. The study also highlights that training and capacity-building initiatives are vital for empowering home industry owners to effectively utilize digital marketing tools, as many still lack adequate knowledge in this area. In conclusion, the integration of digital marketing strategies is essential for home industries to remain competitive in the global marketplace, driving sales growth and ensuring long-term sustainability in an increasingly digital world
