Abstract

Currently, universities face many challenges, specifically, institutions need to be able to produce graduates who are oriented not only towards finding a job but towards creating one, a process known as entrepreneurship, where one of the key elements that significantly influences the emergence, growth, and development of entrepreneurship is the entrepreneurial intention. The purpose of this study is to examine how entrepreneurial inspiration affects entrepreneurial intention, which is mediated by students' perceived behavioral control and personal attitude. A questionnaire with simple random sampling was utilized to gather data from 395 Jambi private university students. On a seven-point Likert-type scale, the respondents were asked to indicate whether they agreed or disagreed with the statements. Data analysis structural equation model. From five hypotheses analyses that were conducted, four hypotheses have positive effects and are significant. Only one hypothesis was rejected, entrepreneurial inspiration on entrepreneurial intention. This hypothesis has a positive impact if it is exclusively mediated by personal attitudes and perceived behavioral control. This study reveals that professionals, motivators, and academics have an important influence in increasing student intentions, which is likely contributing to the improvement of entrepreneurship education in private institutions, particularly in Jambi.

Abstract

Student satisfaction within technology-enhanced learning (TEL) environments is a pivotal factor influencing pedagogical effectiveness and higher education institutions' strategic positioning in a competitive landscape. However, critics highlight drawbacks, including dissatisfaction from the abrupt COVID-19 shift to online learning due to inadequate preparation, overburdened instructors, technostress, isolation in asynchronous courses, increased dropout rates, poor retention, and reputational damage. This systematic literature review synthesizes evidence from 64 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus, published between 2020 and 2025 across multiple countries, to examine the key determinants of student satisfaction in TEL and their implications for institutional strategy and sustainability. The findings indicate that student satisfaction is a multifaceted construct shaped by pedagogical, technological, and support-related dimensions. These dimensions enhance learners’ perceptions and engagement, leading to improved retention, institutional reputation, enrollment outcomes, and overall competitiveness. The review also highlights the critical role of adaptive learning technologies and personalized instructional design in strengthening satisfaction. Furthermore, Institutions must strategically invest in robust TEL infrastructure and faculty development to optimize learning experiences and sustain long-term competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of diverse learning environments on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students in Tangerang, Indonesia—a region where entrepreneurial activity among students remains below national expectations. Drawing on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), we examine how personal attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control mediate this relationship. A total of 312 students from six universities were surveyed using a purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that while diverse learning environments significantly enhance students’ attitudes (β=0.862, p<0.001) and perceived behavioral control (β=0.872, p<0.001), they paradoxically reduce entrepreneurial intentions (β=-0.311, p<0.05). Subjective norms showed no significant effect (p=0.156), reflecting cultural nuances in collectivist societies where institutional and structural factors may overshadow social influence. These results suggest that while exposure to diversity fosters creativity and self-efficacy, it may also introduce decision complexity and risk awareness that discourage entrepreneurial action. The study extends TPB by contextualizing its limitations in non-Western settings and offers practical recommendations. These include implementing structured mentorship, industry-specific entrepreneurial curricula, and institutional support systems to help students translate diverse insights into actionable ventures. Educational institutions must balance the benefits of exposure to diverse perspectives with scaffolding mechanisms that mitigate cognitive overload and cultural dissonance. This research contributes to refining entrepreneurship education strategies in emerging economies.

Abstract

Generation Z plays a pivotal role in shaping contemporary trends, including those in the stock market. In the digital era, social media serves as a dominant medium for this demographic to access, discuss, and disseminate investment-related information. This study examines the influence of Generation Z in Jambi City on stock market trends through a statistical analysis of social media activities. Data were obtained from interactions on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, Discord, TikTok, and Telegram, integrated with corresponding stock market indicators. The analysis employed classical assumption tests to assess the relationship between the intensity of Generation Z’s social media engagement and stock market fluctuations. The study also investigates the extent to which online sentiment, discussion frequency, and platform-specific engagement correlate with short-term market volatility. By bridging behavioral finance and digital communication analysis, the research aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of how technologically adept young investors influence capital market dynamics. The findings are expected to offer valuable implications for policymakers, financial educators, and market practitioners in adapting strategies to the evolving digital investment landscape. Keywords: Generation Z, Social Media, Stock Market Trends, Digital Investment Behavior, Behavioral Finance.
