Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Beyond Center and Circle Time (BCCT) learning method with the student rotation method from one class to another (Rolling) at RA Al-Huda Samarinda City, and its impact on improving the quality of early childhood education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the teachers at RA Al-Huda have implemented rolling by dividing the class into several activity centers. Each center is rotated in turn, so that students have an equal opportunity. This rolling system has proven effective in increasing children's interest in learning, creating a variety of engaging activities for children, and developing children's abilities holistically. However, there are challenges in managing transitions between centers, but the teachers at RA Al-Huda overcome these challenges by providing individual guidance, using motivational techniques, and simplifying transitions between centers. Overall, the implementation of the BCCT method with a rolling system at RA Al-Huda has had a positive impact on improving the quality of early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of teachers in implementing healthy lifestyles with balanced nutrition at TKIT Mardhatillah. Teachers play a vital role in guiding children to understand the importance of balanced nutrition and personal hygiene as part of developing healthy habits from an early age. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers at TKIT Mardhatillah actively promote healthy lifestyles through daily activities such as handwashing, consuming healthy food, and maintaining body hygiene. Moreover, teachers collaborate with parents to ensure that children practice healthy habits not only at school but also at home. The challenges faced in implementing these habits include children's inconsistent practices at home, which sometimes do not align with the lessons taught at school. Cooperation between teachers and parents is crucial to establish consistency in the implementation of healthy lifestyles and balanced nutrition for children. The findings of this study emphasize the critical role of teachers in educating young children about health and nutrition, and the need for family support to ensure the continuity of health programs implemented at school.

Abstract

This research discusses the collaboration between parents and teachers in an education-based parenting model in early childhood education (PAUD), which plays a crucial role in supporting the holistic development of young children. Based on the literature review, collaboration that includes communication, parental participation, and support for learning at home positively impacts children's academic and social-emotional development. Teachers, with their professional competencies, act as facilitators who can design activities according to the developmental needs of children, while parents support learning through emotional stability and educational values at home. However, challenges such as differing perceptions, time limitations, and economic backgrounds require inclusive strategies, such as family-centered education models that position families as key partners in education. This approach has proven effective in enhancing children's motivation to learn and strengthening the emotional connections between children, parents, and teachers. In conclusion, harmonious collaboration can create a holistic and sustainable ecosystem.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important stage in building a child's personality and character. This research aims to examine the implementation of the Child Friendly School (SRA) program at KB Al Mardhiyyah 3 Samarinda in supporting positive parenting. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation involving school principals, teachers and parents. The research results show that the implementation of SRA in this school includes managing a safe physical environment, positive parenting by teachers, play-based learning, parenting programs, and promoting a culture of anti-violence. Supporting factors for success include the principal's commitment, teacher training and parental involvement, while the main challenges are the low awareness of some parents about positive parenting and limited facilities due to lack of financial support. This research concludes that SRA at KB Al Mardhiyyah 3 has succeeded in creating a child-friendly educational environment and supporting children's growth and development holistically, although they still face obstacles that require innovative strategies.

Abstract

The cooperative learning method is one of the methods that can be used for early childhood. This method can holistically support early childhood development. One of the kindergartens that apply the cooperative learning method is Nurul Huda Islamic Kindergarten Samarinda. For this reason, it is necessary to see how the cooperative learning method is implemented at Nurul Huda Islamic Kindergarten Samarinda. This research uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is then found in the analyst with data triangulation and descriptive narrative. The results showed that facilities and infrastructure supported the implementation of the cooperative learning method well. However, there is still a challenge, namely at the beginning of early childhood learning, that is egocentric, so it is necessary for the role of teachers to have good classroom management and to be an example when the method is implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of gross motor physical play in supporting the creation of an active and enjoyable learning environment at TK Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan. Gross motor physical play, such as running, jumping, and obstacle courses, is used to develop children's gross motor skills as well as enhance their engagement and motivation in learning. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The results show that gross motor physical play can create a more dynamic, enjoyable learning atmosphere while supporting children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Additionally, this type of play also plays a role in overcoming children's boredom during learning sessions and enhancing social interaction among students. Despite challenges related to limited facilities, gross motor play can still be adapted creatively by teachers. This study concludes that gross motor physical play has a positive impact on creating an active, enjoyable, and effective learning environment at TK Tiara Pertiwi.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan parenting di RA Ishlahul Ummah Samarinda dalam mendidik anak mencintai Al-Qur'an dengan menghafal sejak dini. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan parenting di RA Ishlahul Ummah Samarinda efektif dalam mendidik anak mencintai Al-Qur'an dengan menghafal sejak dini. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hafalan Al-Qur'an, kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an dengan tajwid yang benar, dan kecintaan anak terhadap Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship between educational supervision, teacher performance, and pedagogical skills at SMPN 1 and 4 Sangatta Utara. The method used is a quantitative approach with Chi-Square testing to analyse data collected from questionnaires distributed to 50 teachers as a sample, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the majority of respondents assessed the educational supervision as being in the moderate category (54%), with most teachers also rating their performance and pedagogical skills as good (82%). The Chi-Square analysis shows a significant relationship between educational supervision and teacher performance (p-value = 0.000) as well as pedagogical skills (p-value = 0.000). This indicates that effective educational supervision contributes to the improvement of teacher performance and pedagogical skills. In conclusion, improving the quality of educational supervision plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher performance and pedagogical skills, and school principals should pay attention to this aspect to support the ongoing professional development of teachers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penanaman nilai – nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini di TK Al Munawwarah Loa Janan Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelas B usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 13 anak, 8 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga hal utama, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan nilai-nilai karakter dan keteladanan diantaranya melafazkan do’a-do’a pilihan, hadist-hadist pilihan, praktek wudhu dan praktek sholat dhuha berjamaah, mengucap salam dan salim, meminta maaf, meminta tolong, mengucapkan terima kasih, berdo’a sebelum dan sesudah makan, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, hidup bersih, disiplin belajar, pembiasaan ini terus menerus dan berkelanjutan pada anak setiap saat, setiap hari, dan terus menerus, dan mampu melatih anak berkarakter baik. Adapun faktor yang menjadi pendukung dalam penanaman nilai-nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini TK Al Munawwarah Loa Janan Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara adalah faktor kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua dan pengetahuan dari guru dan orang tua. Sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi mood anak yang berubah, faktor lingkungan, serta sarana prasarana yang minim.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi permainan tradisional dalam menstimulus kemampuan sosial pada anak kelompok B di TK Melati 2 Samboja serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian implementasi permainan tradisional dalam menstimulus kemampuan sosial pada anak kelompok B di TK Melati 2 Samboja dilakukan melalui proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada perencanaan, guru mempersiapkan RPPM, pijakan sebelum bermain dengan menyampaikan langkah-langkah sebelum bermain seperti menyampaikan kesepakatan terkait cara memilih permainan dan kelompok bermain. Pada pelaksanaan guru melakukan penerapan permainan tradisional secara berkelompok, guru juga melakukan beberapa permainan seperti ular naga, bakiak, dan engklek/asinan. Pada evaluasi guru melakukan penilaian ceklist terhadap anak. Pada faktor penghambat yaitu dimana saat permainan dijadwalkan beberapa murid tidak hadir dan faktor pendukung yaitu alat bermain yang digunakan sangat mudah didapat dan permainan yang dilakukan juga menyenangkan sehingga mudah diterima anak.
