Abstract

Tujuan penulisan karya ini untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis konsep manajemen tenaga kependidikan islam. Dalam penelitian tinjauan pustaka tentang manajemen tenaga kependidikan Islam, langkah pertama adalah mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber teoritis yang relevan, termasuk buku, artikel jurnal, dan dokumen resmi. Sumber data mencakup literatur ilmiah, dokumen terkait manajemen, serta wawancara dengan ahli pendidikan Islam dan praktisi manajemen. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi pencarian literatur online, studi dokumen, dan wawancara, sementara analisis data dapat dilakukan secara kualitatif atau deskriptif. Hasil karya ini yaitu pendidikan Islam membutuhkan tenaga pendidik yang tidak hanya kompeten akademis tetapi juga sebagai contoh perilaku mulia. Teori pendidikan menyoroti perlunya dukungan penuh dari tenaga kependidikan yang berkualitas dalam proses belajar. Dari segi manajemen, teori-teori seperti yang diusulkan oleh Terry dan Fayol menekankan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, motivasi, dan pengendalian untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Pendekatan manajemen komprehensif, dengan referensi pada teori POCCC Fayol dan POAC Terry, memberikan kerangka kerja untuk mengatasi problematika tenaga kependidikan Islam di Indonesia. Ini melibatkan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, motivasi, dan pengendalian untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam. Prinsip-prinsip Islam dalam manajemen tenaga kependidikan menekankan penempatan berbasis kompetensi dan pembinaan nilai, memperkuat karakter dan profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ini, manajemen tenaga kependidikan membentuk karakter sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

Effective learning in Islamic elementary schools necessitates the selection of approaches appropriate to specific learning models. This article aims to identify effective strategies, evaluate the impact of innovative approaches, and address particular challenges in this context. The research method involved an extensive literature review and analysis, utilizing descriptive data analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of the collected data. This process included frequency counting, pattern identification, and data classification to discern trends, patterns, and key aspects. Teacher-centered approaches are typically associated with explanatory learning models, where the instructor plays a central role in delivering knowledge. Conversely, student-centered approaches align with constructivist learning models, emphasizing active student engagement and self-directed learning. Collaborative learning approaches support collaborative learning models, encouraging group work and peer-to-peer interaction, while project-based learning approaches are often linked to problem-based learning models, focusing on real-world problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Understanding these relationships is crucial for designing meaningful and effective learning experiences for students. By considering various learning approaches and models, instructors can select and implement the methods that best meet their students' diverse needs and learning objectives. Furthermore, integrating different learning approaches and models enhances student interaction, fosters deeper understanding, and promotes a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. Therefore, this article emphasizes the importance of effectively combining learning approaches and models to achieve the desired educational outcomes in Islamic elementary schools. By doing so, educators can create a more holistic and adaptable educational experience, ultimately leading to improved student performance and a deeper appreciation for lifelong learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the actualization of the actuating function in strengthening management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah, specifically MIS Hadirul Ulum. The problem studied is the optimal implementation of the actuating function in managerial practices at the madrasah level. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of the madrasah principal, teachers, and educational staff. The results of the study show that the actualization of the actuating function at MIS Hadirul Ulum is realized through the visionary leadership of the madrasah principal, continuous teacher empowerment, effective communication, the cultivation of Islamic values, and constructive academic supervision. The implementation of mobilization based on the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah was able to improve teacher competence, strengthen Islamic work culture, and integrate the national curriculum with Islamic boarding school content to strengthen madrasah management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic education planning at MI Salafiyah Karangjompo, Tirto, Pekalongan. The research focuses on how planning processes are implemented and managed to improve the quality of Islamic education in elementary Islamic institutions. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that Islamic education planning at MI Salafiyah Karangjompo follows systematic stages, including needs analysis, goal formulation, policy setting, program implementation, and evaluation. Teachers actively design lesson plans, integrate Islamic values into learning, and align objectives with the institution’s vision. Effective educational planning contributes significantly to improving school management performance and fostering students’ Islamic character.

Abstract

Domestic violence remains a persistent social problem in Indonesia despite the enactment of the Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence (Law No. 23/2004). The persistent discrepancy between legal norms and their enforcement, evidenced by low reporting levels and reliance on non-legal dispute resolution, signals a crisis of legal legitimacy. This study aims to identify public meaning distortions regarding domestic violence in Pekalongan, Central Java Indonesia and analyze their implications for the delegitimization of the law. Employing a socio-legal approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving 50 informants in Pekalongan. The findings identify four principal forms of distortion: domestic violence is perceived as a private family matter (38%), a means of discipline or instruction (20%), a source of social disgrace (18%), or an act that is not considered criminal (14%). Only 10% of informants defined it as a legal crime. Consequently, respondents preferred family mediation (34%) or divorce (26%) over court proceedings (10%). Symbolic Interactionism analysis reveals that social interactions prioritize symbols of family harmony and honor over victims' rights, diverting cases from the judicial system. Viewed through the perspective of Symbolic Interactionism, the study finds that social interactions often prioritize family harmony and social honor over the rights of victims, which ultimately diverts cases from the formal justice system. The study concludes that legal ineffectiveness stems from deep semiotic conflicts, underscoring the need to reconstruct public meanings to align domestic violence with criminal justice principles.

Abstract

قد تعلّم المتعلّم اللغة العربية تعلّماً تامّاً قويّاً، إذا تعلّم شخص اللغة العربية للتحدّث، فليس بواجب أن يهتمّ النحو اهتماماً كاملاً، إلا إذا تعلّم اللغة العربية الفصحى الصحيحة فلا بدّ أن يتعلّمها تعلّماً صحيحاً. لذلك يُعرَف أن تعلّم اللغة العربية في المدرسة العالية السلامية سِمِبانج كولون مهمٌّ ذلك كلّه، حتى يُرى أن أبنائها يستطيعون أن يقرأوا ويترجموا ويسمعوا الكلام العربي جيّداً. اعتماداً على هذا الموقع يُلاحَظ أن علم التحفيظ جداً في إعانة تعلّم اللغة العربية سِمِبانج كولون، علماً أن نتائج اللغة العربية أكثر تلاميذنا أعلى قيمة (يعني بين ٧٨–٨٠) على حسب تقدير القيمة من المدرسة العالية السلفية سِمِبانج كولون كَالُونجان (يعني بين ٧٠–٧٦). هذا يدلّ على أن تقدير القيمة للتلاميذ فيها جيّداً أو جيّداً جدّاً.

Abstract

Higher education is one of the educational institutions that assist to realize the constitution mandate: to educate national citizen. Therefore, the lecturers as human resources of a college should have a reliable competence in order to support the realization of quality education. One of the competencies that should be possessed by the lecturer is pedagogic competence: their capability in understanding the foundation of education; understanding of the students; developing syllabus or curriculum; and managing the course. This study focused on: (1) the proficiency of STAIN Pekalonganís non-trained lecturers at pedagogic competence; (2) the proficiency of STAIN Purwokertoís non-trained lecturers at pedagogic competence. The results of this study showed that the proficiency of the non-trained lecturers of both STAIN Pekalongan and STAIN Purwokerto at pedagogic competence were still low. 21.55% of the non-trained lecturers of STAIN Pekalongan were proficient, 33.62% were less proficient, and 44.83% were not proficient. While at STAIN Purwokerto, 31.90% of its non-trained lecturers were proficient, 25.47% were less proficient, and 42.63% were not proficient. Overall, 26.72% of them (both those of STAIN Pekalongan and STAIN Purwokerto) were proficient, 29.55% were less proficient, and 43.73% were not proficient.

Abstract

The success of an institution is influenced by the level of employee performance. This study identified two main issues: (1) employee performance at STAIN Pekalongan based on tenure, age, and gender; and (2) the factors influencing employee performance. The results show that, first, based on tenure, employees with more than 10 years of service demonstrate average performance (mean score 3.95 or 79%); those with tenure ≥5 and <10 years also show average performance (mean score 4.00 or 80%); while employees with less than 5 years of service demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.04 or 81%). Based on age, employees over 35 years old show average performance (mean score 3.96 or 79.2%), whereas those under 35 years old demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.03 or 81%). Based on gender, male employees demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.06 or 81.22%), while female employees show average performance (mean score 3.95 or 79.08%). Second, the factors influencing employee performance include a clean and well-organized workspace, job training, implementation of a fingerprint attendance system, salary increases, rewards for job performance, and changes in leadership.

Abstract

Gender equity is an important target in human development, both at the national and global levels. Gender equity in the higher education context is a crucial issue. This study was aimed at analyzing the gender-based differences in Indonesian higher education graduates. Further, this study also explored the opportunity for women to become university leaders. In this study, a quantitative method was employed by using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to analyze the gender gap in higher education. This study involved the secondary data taken from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) in the year 2019. This study revealed that there is no significant difference between men and women graduates from higher education. However, the descriptive data indicates that the number of women graduates is higher than men graduate. Further, the findings of this study also show that the opportunity for women’s college graduates to become university leaders is widely opened, but commonly they find various obstacles in the field.
