Abstract

The concept of "Kampus Merdeka" (Independent Campus) and "Merdeka Belajar" (Independent Learning) has gained attention in the dynamics and discourse of education policy and management. The concept of independent campus and independent learning seems to be a national education jargon that is perceived as "fantastic", "interesting", and "buzzworthy". The purpose of this article is to examine the concept of independent campus and independent learning policy and management. The methodology used in this article is qualitative research, with documentation technique to identify discourse from books, papers, articles, magazines, journals, or other related information on independent campus and independent learning policy and management. The data analysis used in this article is descriptive analysis. The research results indicate that the fundamental problems in the implementation of the independent campus and independent learning policy and management are in the aspects of implementation, governance, and higher education management in building an ecosystem of knowledge and student mobility between study programs, faculties, and universities. The research also shows that the main challenges of implementing independent campus and independent learning in Indonesia are: 1. Knowledge about the program, 2. Policy, 3. Management, 4. Budget allocation. Moreover, the policy aspect has not yet shown a comprehensive and integrated policy to make independent campus and independent learning programs an integral part of the education system in universities. This article is expected to provide reflection on improving the implementation of independent campus and independent learning policy that has been running, so that it can be ideal for the education world in Indonesia.

Abstract

The problem that is proposed in this research is about how the character education’s construction of Cek Toko Sebelah 1 and 2 movies and how the movies’ symbols convey the message to the viewers. The purpose of this research is to examine, identify, and analyze the construction of character educations in the movie of Cek Toko Sebelah 1 and 2. Specifically, the research method used in this research is qualitative. The data analysis used is semiotic data analysis. The object of this research is Cek Toko Sebelah 1 and 2 movies by Ernest Prakasa. The result of the research shows that the construction of character educations can be found through movies. In this case, Cek Toko Sebelah 1 and 2 convey the important message of character educations, they are respecting and accepting diversity as an important value as people of Indonesia. Through this research, it can be concluded that the construction of character educations in Cek Toko Sebelah 1 and 2 movies is interpreted through scenes and dialogs that contain moral messages of entrepreneurship, mutual respect, mutual understanding, resilience, and struggle for the family.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in integrative thematic learning in primary schools. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research location is at SD Negeri Beraja Asri grade 6. The research data was collected through classroom observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis is carried out using data reduction, data display, and data verification techniques. The results showed that the use of TPACK in integrative thematic learning in elementary schools had a positive impact. In the aspect of technological knowledge, teachers successfully integrate information and communication technology (ICT) in the planning and implementation of learning. They use a variety of ICT tools and applications that match the learning content and effective teaching strategies. In addition, teachers are also able to utilize pedagogical knowledge and content effectively to facilitate interesting and meaningful thematic learning for students. However, the study also revealed some of the challenges faced by teachers in implementing TPACK. Some of the challenges include limited access to ICT tools and resources, lack of adequate training for TPACK competency development, and obstacles in integrating TPACK into existing primary school curricula. The results of this study provide a better understanding of the use of TPACK in integrative thematic learning in primary schools. The findings of this study can form the basis for the development of training programs and educational policies that support the integration of TPACK in teaching practices in primary schools.

Abstract

Indonesia disebut sebagai negara mega biodiversitas karena kekayaan keanekaragaman hayatinya. Anggrek menjadi tumbuhan yang penting dan mendesak untuk dijaga kelestariannya. Konservasi anggrek belum menjadi gerakan moral, sosial, dan budaya yang terintegrasi di kalangan akademik yang mengarahkan pada aspek mendasar dalam kehidupan yang berkelanjutan. Pendataan status anggrek untuk dikonservasi masih minim dan belum dilakukan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan jika dokumentasi anggrek memiliki potensi untuk mempromosikan cinta terhadap tanah air melalui pemahaman akan keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia, memvisualisasikan upaya konservasi, dan memperkuat nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Melalui studi kasus di Padukuhan konservasi anggrek spesies di Desa Batur, DIY, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang kaya tentang bagaimana cinta terhadap tanah air, konservasi anggrek, dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat diintegrasikan melalui dokumentasi anggrek. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi upaya pengelolaan lingkungan yang lebih holistik dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dan budaya dalam konteks lingkungan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali, menggambarkan, dan menemukan Nilai Kebajikan Kewarganegaraan terkait partisipasi hak penyandang disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan di tingkat pemerintahan administratif desa di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif-empiris. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan studi kepustakaan mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Undang-Undang Disabilitas menjadi acuan dalam pengaturan keterlibatan difabel dalam akses hak penyandang disabilitas dalam pelayanan publik di Indonesia. Hasil mununjukan bahwa Nilai Kebajikan Kewarganegaraan dalam partisipasi hak penyandang disabilitas membentuk kohesi sosial yang memperkuat tanggung jawab individu, rasa kasih untuk yang lain, integritas, patriotisme, toleransi keragaman, dan konsistensi. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat urgensi keterlibatan disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan desa guna memahami, mengetahui, dan menganalisis kebutuhan maupun masalah yang dialami disabilitas itu sendiri di level desa. Selain itu, terdapat harapan pula akan adanya upaya untuk melindungi hak kaum disabilitas dan mengubah persektif masyarakat yang baik tentang disabilitas. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat pula merefleksikan urgensi keterlibatan disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan berskala nasional.

Abstract

The educational process has a close and inseparable relationship with the environment. The school and parents of students play an important role in coaching students to improve their healthy lifestyles. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the character of environmental care education through healthy schools and find out what are the inhibiting and supporting factors in improving healthy schools in SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan. Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative research approach. The subjects in this study consisted of school principals, teachers, and students at SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan. The techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used source triangulation and technique triangulation, then analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the implementation of environmental care character education through healthy schools at SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan is integrated into learning which goes through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of learning. In addition, the implementation of environmental care character education is also carried out based on school policies, school programs, as well as environmental activities and management of facilities and infrastructure supporting healthy schools. Factors supporting the implementation of ecologically responsible character education in this healthy school are collaboration between school members and parents of students, as well as being supported by facilities and infrastructure. At the same time, the inhibiting factors are from the internal scope itself, such as some students who are still unaware of caring for the environment.

Abstract

Pancasila menjadi wacana yang menarik dalam catatan memori kolektif generasi muda paska reformasi. Pancasila tidak hanya menjadi produk pemikiran dan intelektual para pendiri bangsa tetapi juga menjadi produk politik dari berbagai ragam rezim yang telah memimpin negeri ini sepanjang negara Indonesia berdiri. Isu penting dalam wacana Pancasila sejak paska reformasi ialah persoalan kehadiran Pancasila apakah diakui keberadaan di kalangan generasi muda atau dianggap absen dari pemikiran, memori, dan imajinasi mereka dalam berbangsa dan bernegara. Generasi yang lahir sejak paska reformasi periode tahun 2000 menjadi generasi yang memiliki imajinasi tentang Pancasila yang cukup berbeda dengan generasi pada periode sebelumnya. Penelitian ini akan menggali dan mengeksplorasi apa yang diimajinasikan dan dipikirkan generasi muda tentang Pancasila. Terbentuknya Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP) pada tahun 2018 ikut mewarnai dalam proses pembentukan wacana dan memori generasi muda dalam memahami Pancasila. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat sampai sejauh mana persepsi Generasi Muda terhadap Pancasila pasca terbentuknya BPIP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode bibliometrik (bibliometrics). Data sekunder diperoleh melalui kajian pustaka dari hasil laporan, kajian, dan penelitian berkaitan dengan tema Pancasila dan kepemudaan. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan interpretasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian tentang Pancasila sejak terbentuknya BPIP terjadi peningkatan cukup signifikan. Isu yang diangkat pada periode 2019 sampai dengan 2023 mengarahkan pada tren penelitian tentang Pendidikan, Kurikulum dan Pedagogi, Filsafat dan Studi Keagamaan

Abstract

Integritas nasional merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam sebuah tatanan negara, namun demikian Era globalisasi membawa berbagai dampak positif maupun negatif antara lain meningkatnya individualitas, dan lunturnya budaya. Penguatan integritas mulai dari skala terkecil yaitu desa sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terdapat pada Tradisi Ambengan pada masyarakat Desa Jogomertan, Kecamatan Petanahan, Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terkandung dalam Tradisi Ambengan di Desa Jogomertan adalah (1) nilai ketuhanan, tradisi Ambengan merupakan bentuk implementasi dari sedekah, (2) gotong royong, dan (3) persatuan. Melalui penelitian ini peneliti menemukan bahwa dalam menggali, mengembangkan, dan mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dapat terinternalisasi dalam dalam tradisi yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Constructivism serves as a basic theory in education, and plays an important role, because this perspective views learning as a dynamic process in which students actively participate in constructing their knowledge. So, this research aims to produce a virtual laboratory that is valid and effective in developing constructivist thinking. This research and development use the Ploom approach which consists of initial investigation, design, construction/realization, testing, evaluation, revision, and implementation. Thirty-two electrical engineering students from Padang State University participated in this research. The instruments used are validity instruments and constructivism assessment tools. The research results show that the Proteus-based virtual laboratory developed is valid and effective in fostering constructivist thinking in electrical measurement practice. This study contributes to the advancement of virtual laboratories in educational settings, emphasizing the importance of constructivist pedagogy for meaningful and engaging learning experiences in the field of electrical engineering. The results of this research open opportunities for further research regarding the exploration of artificial intelligence to improve constructivism through virtual laboratories.

Abstract

Peningkatan profesionalisme melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah adalah salah satu langkah dalam pengembangan diri untuk mendukung tridharma perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penulisan artikel ilmiah bagi mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) Universitas Sriwijaya. Harapannya, pelatihan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan keilmuan dan peningkatan mutu lulusan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan melibatkan interaksi intensif antara dosen dan mahasiswa, dengan fokus pada aspek-aspek kritis penulisan artikel ilmiah. Hasil pengabdian pada masyarakat menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah serta peningkatan kesadaran akan norma-norma akademik. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi peran penting pelatihan dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme mahasiswa di Program Studi PPKn.
