Abstract

Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan bottom up.

Abstract

Traditional fishermen are community groups affected by damage to the coastal environment due to sedimentation. This is because traditional fishermen have a low fishing range (under three miles) and simple fishing technology. catch. This community service activity aims to increase the productivity of fishing aids using portable FADs and blue LED lights. The method of this activity is active participation. The result of this activity is that portable FADs and blue LED lights can increase the productivity of fishing gear, thereby increasing the quantity and quality of catches by 20%. The existence of portable fish FADs which are homes for fish plays a very important role as fishing aids. The difference between this FAD and conventional FAD is that it requires minimal manufacturing costs, and it is very possible to change locations according to the fishing area. The conclusion from PkM is that partners have knowledge related to appropriate technology that can increase catch productivity, namely portable FADs and blue LED lights.

Abstract

Pacific white shrimp shrimp cultivation in the coastal waters of Central Bangka is carried out intensively using artificial feed as the main shrimp feed. Problems in intensive cultivation are uneaten feed residues and metabolic wastes in the form of feces and urine which have the potential to cause fertility in aquatic ecosystems. Decomposition of organic matter by microorganisms will produce nitrogen compounds in the form of nitrate and phosphate. They will be absorbed by plants that have the potential to cause blooming algae. This study aims to test and analyze the content of nitrate, phosphate and other water quality parameters as well as the suitability of wastewater generated at the disposal site of pacific white shrimp ponds in Central Bangka Regency. The research locations were TLTA Shrimp Pond (Location 1), ALB Shrimp Pond (Location 2), and SDL Shrimp Pond (Location 3). The research method used quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the nitrate content at locations 1, 2 and 3 were 0.92±0.18 mg/L, 0.89±0.14 mg/L, and 0.93±0.21 mg/L, respectively, and phosphate content of 0.25±0.09 mg/L, 0.15±0.11 mg/L, and 0.23±0.15 mg/L, respectively. The nitrate and phosphate content still meets the standard quality criteria for pond waste water, but there is potential for eutrophication when they flow into estuary or seas area. Their values are in the range that can cause eutrophication. The content of water quality parameters TSS, BOD, COD, turbidity, temperature, salinity, pH and DO at all location points shows values that still meet quality standards which illustrate that there is no pollution from shrimp pond waste produced.
