Abstract

Diarrhoea is a disease characterised by changes in the shape and consistency of soft to liquid stools and an increase in the frequency of bowel movements more than 3 or more times a day which may be accompanied by vomiting or bloody stools. The method of implementing this activity is diarrhoea counselling, discussion, question and answer, pre-posttest, demonstration and hand washing competition. Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, there are still school-age children in Cot Mancang village who do not know about diarrhoea and how to wash hands 6 steps properly and correctly. Activities carried out to 24 school-age children who attended the health education event. With this activity, it is hoped that it can trigger awareness of school-age children to wash their hands. This community service activity may be a good forum for the Cot Mancang village community, especially for school-age children to increase motivation about diarrhoea and how to wash hands 6 steps properly and correctly.

Abstract

The National Community Service (PKM) program in Gurah Village, Aceh Besar, was a collaboration between the Faculty of Economics, Serambi Mekkah University, the village government, students, and other stakeholders. The program aimed to strengthen, community capacity, encourage the digitalization of MSMEs, engage students as agents of change, foster environmental awareness, and build cross-university networks. The series of activities included an official opening, the signing of an MoU, a handover of student PPK Ormawa (Student Organizations), cybersecurity training, red shoot planting, and an interactive discussion. This activity provided tangible benefits to the village community, MSMEs, students, universities, and the local government, including improving digital literacy, developing tourism villages, and strengthening partnership networks. The implementation results demonstrated that the National PKM can serve as a model for empowerment based on local wisdom that is inclusive, sustainable, and replicable in other regions.

Abstract

Education and training are seen as the main instruments for improving the quality of civil servant human resources which include improving knowledge, improving skills and skills, and changing attitudes and behaviors, and correction to performance weaknesses. So that education and training is the most effective policy instrument to achieve the work competencies required by a position in the bureaucracy. Staffing management system, echelon IV structural officials play a very important role in determining when planning the activities of agencies and subordinate leaders and all stakeholders of the implementation of Leadership Training Level IV aimed at equipping participants with the competencies needed to become operational leaders felt there is not enough need for a training. The application of Level IV Leadership Training at the Makassar Religious Training Center Office, the overall temporary observation is not fully in accordance with the principles of concept and theory of leadership. Leadership Training activities bring changes in both behavior and character changes, with the output of results with the construction of teamwork in completing tasks both individually and organizationally in government tasks, thereby improving performance accountability in the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourism potential and develop appropriate development strategies for tourism managers in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency. The research sample was 100 respondents who were taken using convenience or opportunity sampling techniques. Using quantitative research with descriptive analysis that can be seen with four measurements, namely attractions, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary. This study found that tourism in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency has the potential as superior tourism in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency based on an assessment of four aspects (attractions, amenities, accessibility and ancillary) but there are still some weaknesses such as the absence of a halal guarantee. food products, the unavailability transportation to go to tourist attractions, and the lack of optimal cooperation between the government and managers. Based on these results, it can be concluded that it is necessary to improve tourism potential in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency, so that in this study researchers will develop a tourism development strategy in Sekerat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension and diabetes mellitus (DM) among the elderly is steadily increasing, particularly in rural areas with limited access to healthcare services. This community-based activity aimed to enhance awareness, knowledge, and self-management skills among elderly residents of Dusun Baruga, Maros Regency, for early detection of hypertension and DM through integrated health education and screening. Methods included educational seminars, health screening using Easy Touch GCU (blood pressure, random blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid), and waist circumference measurement. Results indicated a high prevalence of hypertension (43%), prediabetes (26%), borderline cholesterol levels (28%), high uric acid (17%), and abdominal obesity risk (70%). In conclusion, culturally-tailored educational interventions combined with routine health screenings effectively improved elderly awareness and self-detection skills for hypertension and DM, with potential applicability to similar community settings.ABSTRAKPrevalensi hipertensi dan diabetes melitus (DM) pada lansia terus meningkat, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan dengan akses terbatas terhadap layanan kesehatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, serta keterampilan mandiri lansia Dusun Baruga, Kabupaten Maros dalam mendeteksi dini hipertensi dan DM melalui edukasi dan skrining kesehatan berbasis komunitas. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan, seminar edukasi, pemeriksaan kesehatan menggunakan Easy Touch GCU (tekanan darah, gula darah sewaktu, kolesterol, dan asam urat), serta pengukuran lingkar pinggang. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan prevalensi hipertensi sebesar 43%, prediabetes 26%, kolesterol borderline 28%, asam urat tinggi 17%, serta risiko obesitas abdominal 70%. Kesimpulannya, intervensi edukasi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi sosial-budaya lokal serta skrining rutin efektif meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemampuan deteksi dini lansia terhadap hipertensi dan DM, dengan potensi untuk diaplikasikan pada komunitas serupa lainnya.

Abstract

Understanding the psychological factors influencing consumer behavior is a essential for enhancing purchase intention. This study examines the impact of positive emotion as a mediator between purchase intention and cognitive load or the decoy effect. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with the PLS-SEM technique using SmartPLS. A purposive sampling method yielded 129 iPhone 14 users as respondents for this study. The findings indicate that the decoy effect and cognitive load has a significant impact on purchase intention when mediated by positive emotion. These results underscore the importance of minimizing cognitive load and leveraging the decoy effect in marketing practices.

Abstract

Lichen amyloidosis (LA) is a disease caused by amyloid deposits in the dermis which is chronic, localized and very itchy. LA is characterized by the presence of discretely scattered hyperpigmented and hyperkeratotic papules, which can coalesce to form verrucous plaques, present in the extensor area of the arms and legs. The pathogenesis of LA is unclear, but suspected that there is reactivity between antikeratin antibodies and amyloid deposits in the skin. Several examination that can be used to make diagnose LA, such as histopathology (hematoxylin-eosin staining and congo-red) and immunofluorescence (IgM, C3, IgA deposits in the basement membrane area). This paper will discuss further about several examinations that can be used to the diagnosis of LA.

Abstract

Taxes are mandatory contributions from the people as taxpayers to the state treasury based on established law. 79% of state revenue comes from taxes and is included in the state budget. Which is with the intention to spend on public needs. This research is aim to to test whether there is an effect of Tax Socialization, Quality of Fiscal Services and Tax Sanction on WPOP compliance. This study has a population 75,350 Individual Taxpayer Registered at KPP Pratama South Batam. Sampling used simple random sampling method and obtained a sample of 111. The data source was primary data through distributed questionnaires. The data analysis technique used to conduct this research was multiple linear regression analysis. However, because there is heteroskedasticity, the researcher uses Parameter Estimates with Robust Standard Errors as a benchmark in determining significance Based on the tests conducted in this study, it was concluded through the T test and F test that Tax Socialization has no effect on Individual Taxpayer Compliance, Fiscal Service Quality has no effect on Individual Taxpayer Compliance. And also Tax Sanctions have a positive significant effect on Individual Taxpayer Compliance. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination shows that Individual Taxpayer Compliance is influenced by an independent variable of 41,7%. While the remaining 58,3% is influenced by other independent variables that not tested in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA terpadu melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada siswa kelas SMP Bina Insan Mandiri Al-Masrur Kendari.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMP Bina Insan Mandiri Al-Masrur Kendari yang berjumlah 27 orang.Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) observasi, (4) refleksi.Data tentang aktivitas siswa dan guru mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II demikian pula nilai hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 78,25 dan masih ada 4 siswa yang mendapat nilai 65 (belum tuntas) sementara pada siklus II nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 92,80 dan semua siswa berada pada kategori tuntas. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA terpadu siswa kelas VIII SMP Bina Insan Mandiri Al-Masrur Kendari.

Abstract

This paper is aimed at examining conceptually the efforts to build conducive school climate based on religious character culture. Conducive school climate is a condition and atmosphere of school climate with all supporting components both human resources and existing facilities to provide safety and convenient experience for all school residents with various activities both material and spiritual. Building conducive school climate is a maximum effort for school residents to create a harmonious education and learning climate actualized in the form of a safety feeling, convenient, family climate as a supporting factor for the process of learning activities, which is effective, efficient, and productive. Building a conducive school climate can be realized through the effort to create safety feeling, comfortable and beautifully. It is an environmental condition providing school atmosphere with high effectiveness.
