Abstract

Based on the observations of research Practical Experience Filed Tuition and Counseling School at SMP Negeri 17 Padang, especially when researchers overseen activities semester exams, it is clear that there are students not ready physically, mentally and not ready to discipline for the exam looks less good. The aimed his study to describe: How readiness physical, mentally and discipline of students to the class VIII to confront the semester exam at SMP Negeri 17 Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative to got obtaining information in the form of a statement, explaining, words, picture of language. Source of the data is students of the class VIII at SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Total data source is 238 students. In this research Simple Random Sampling done by lottery or lottere was applied. Total of sources research the data 70 students. Research instruments such as questionnaires and interviews, used the technique analysis percentage of engineering analysis interviews. Results of this research said that: (1) Readiness physical to the students for the exam criteria very good is 64.29%. (2) the readiness mentally of the students for the exam the criteria very good is 51.43%. (3) The discipline of students in the exam, including the criteria that is either 55.71%, to addition information from the interview to headmaster and three people guardian class any students not discipline to exam, especially in the discipline of time students still have exams coming late. Based on the found of the research, so the students to recommended the exam and comply with maintaining readiness criteria very well, to headmaster, guardian class and teacher counselor for more attention to discipline students for exams.

Abstract

Ased on observations by the author, it was found that students are not disciplined in the study, then the authors would like to examine the factors that affect student learning in the discipline not MTsN Tarung Durian, with the aim of research is to describe the internal and external factors that affect learners not discipline in learning in MTsN Tarung Durian. This research is a descriptive study. Of researchers took the study population was all students in Tarung Durian in class VIII MTsN the academic year 2011/2012. By sampling random sampling technique. Sample size was 68 people. Data analysis using the percentage formula.Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1) The internal factors affecting learners do not learn in the discipline in MTsN Durian Tarung included in the category of very many, is visible from, a) physical factors ,b) psychological factors 2) external factors that affect undisciplined learners in learning in MTsN Durian Tarung including on many categories, is visible from, a) family factor, factor b) school factors, c) factors. The suggestion of this research is expected to the school and parents to pay more attention to learners learn to be more disciplined in order to better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research departed from phenomena in the field, the adolescents feel very depressed by their parents so that there were from them who rebelled, and there are from them less of attantion of their parents, even there some parents giving more confidence to their children until made their children be sad , angry , daydreaming, fear ,shy, and often feel dissatisfied with what they have. Than this research raised about: Factors influencing adolescent emotions. The research purposes are to describe: 1) internal factors that influence adolescent emotions. 2) External factors that influence adolescent emotions. Techniques in this research is descriptive quantitative, this research population were all adolescents in Jorong Murni Panti. The sampling technique is the total sampling, a total sample of 47 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire, while the percentage of data analysis techniques used. Results of this research revealed that the internal factors that influence adolescent emotions are in many categories, and external factors that influence adolescent emotions were categorized lot. Based on the results of the research authors suggest to adolescents, in order to know the factors that influence emotions. To the Program, in order to give birth the teacher professional of GC. For writer self, in order to be material input and add insight about teenagers emotions.

Abstract

Based of phenomenon which researcher  found out in the field, the researcher considered that was found students whose majors were not suitable with their psychology. Therefore, the researcher took it as a case to study: How internal and external factors  influenced students when they chose their majors in SMA Negeri 1 Solok. This research wanted to deseribe: the factors which influenced students when they chose their majors in SMA Negeri 1 Solok. This research was decripsive research with population werw 333 students. Sample of this research was purposive random sampling. The data of this research were pimer and secunder. Instrument that used in collecting the data was questionaire and it technique was percentage formula.With refesence to finding of the research, so students talent factor in choosing that was enough criteria, interest was enough, intelligence was good, motivation was good, ability was enough, care was good and dream was good. Nevertheles, students family factor in choosing that was good criteria, scool was enough, facility was enough and society was good. This means that students who chose their majors related to external factor was good.

Abstract

Problems studied the teacher providing counseling services counseling information monotonous because master class teacher, teacher counseling while providing less obvious questions so that the students could not answer. The purpose of this study: 1) Perception of students on communication skills in counseling teacher explains the material information services. 2) Perception of students on communication skills in providing counseling teacher question to students in the provision of information services. 3) Perception of students on communication skills in counseling teacher gives strength in the service information. This research is a descriptive study. The study population of students of SMP Negeri 20 Padang. Stratified sampling technique was rondom Sampling. Samples were taken from each class VIII and class IX through lottery. Number of samples 66 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire, data analysis techniques used percentages. The results in SMP Negeri 20 Padang in general is a very good. The results according to the lowest sub-variables, namely: 1) Describe the service material unfavorable category is 1.51%. 2) Asking the question in a category quite well with the percentage of 15.15%. 3) Provide reinforcement in the category quite well with the percentage of 16.66%. Based on the results of the study authors suggest counseling teacher further improve communication skills in the delivery of information services so that students can understand the material content of the service.

Abstract

This research was based on students’ problem, which was top rank students and have lack of social skill, in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh like; they tended to be quiet, arrogant, and through instrument of discovering common problems was found that they had problems in social interaction. This research was conducted in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh by using descriptive design. The population of this research was all the top rank students of Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh. The sampling was taken by using purposive sampling which was only top rank student of VII and IX class. The total sampling was 54 top rank students or all of students which was on 1st rank until 3rd of 18 classes in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh. According to data analysis, it was concluded that the interaction social of top rank students to individual and group was well. Interaction social of top rank students to individuals was well with percentage of 74.53%, beside the interaction social of top rank students to group was well with percentage of 74.24%.

Abstract

Problems studied based on the phenomenon the researchers found in the field that is the learnirs who do not know about him unsure as to the ability based on the phenomenon that the researchers raised concerns about research: counseling teacher role in shaping the concept of self learners in SMP Negeri 11 Padang purpose of this study is to desceribe.1) counselor role inshaping the self concept of students from the aspects of khowledge.2) counselor role inshaping the sekf concept of students from aspects expectations.3) caunselor  teacher role ini shaping the self concept of students from aspects of the assessment. This research is a descriptive study sought to  describe the situation for what it is. The study population was all students in junior high school 11 Padang which amounts to 644 people. Techniques  in use ini sampling in each is proporrtional to the of 87 pople. Instruments used in this study was a questionnaire. While the use pf data analysis techniques for the percentage. The results of this study revealed that:1) counselor teacher role in shaping the self concept of students from the aspects of knowledge as much as 68,82% classified as good.2) counselor role in shaping the self  concept of students from aspect hope as much as 79,31% classified is exellent.3) counselor teacher role in shaping the self concept of students of the assessment as much as 62,07% classified is fair. Based on the results of the study authors suggest counselor in order to improve their perfomance to achieve the guidance and caunseling  services are affective and efficient to principals SMP N 11 Padang in order to assist and facilitate the work of guidance and counseling. STKIP PGRI in west Sumatera in order to better prepare prospective teachers with the knowledge and counseling skills a reliable.

Abstract

This research described about an anxious of the pregnant women toward the process of giving birth. Based on preliminary study through interview, it was found that the women who were pregnant felt anxious in the process of giving birth. This research focused on (1) The profile of pregnant women toward the process of giving birth physiology (2) The profile of pregnant women toward the process of giving birth psychology. This research was descriptive qualitative. The technique of collection sample is by using snow ball sampling. The core instrument of this research is pregnant women. The additional instrument are the doctor, and the husband of pregnant women who ever given birth. The collection of the data is through interview, observation, and documentation. This data was tested by triangulation and member check. After that this data was analyzed through three steps: 1.Data reduction. 2.Confirmation. 3.ConclusionThe result of this research; it was found that the profile of pregnant women toward the process of giving birth physiology was: heart beating, the pain before giving birth, unsleeping, and sweat. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the study of Profiles in Learning Skills Learners develop an excellent learning skills in SMA N 1 Painan. The study was descriptive. The research was conducted in SMA N 1 Painan with a sample of 87 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire and interview guides. The research results revealed that: (1) the skills profile of learners before teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 64.95%. (2) Info skills of learners in the teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 70.90%. (3) The skills profile of learners after the teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 68.6%. Based on the research findings, it is suggested to mentor teachers in order to improve learning skills to students about how to improve the skills of learners before starting the lesson, during the process of learning takes place and before the learning process takes place. For parents, in order to provide care and guidance to the children in improving learning skills. For principals to be able to observe how the skills learned before PBM took place, took place during and after the PBM lasts. From the above it can be concluded that the skills students learn in high school N 1 Painan that need more role of teachers and counselors to assist students in the learning process.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is influenced by several factors, one of which is the concept of self. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of students in Senior High School 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. This reseach is a quantitative correlation is the relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of students in Senior High School 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. The study population numbered 329 people who registered the 2012-2013 school year, with a total sample of 77 people were taken using random sampling techniques sratified. Collecting data using questionnaires about self-concept and achievement motivation. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage formula. Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1) students in Senior High School 1 District 50 District IX Limestone City has a good self-concept, 2) learners at SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota has a good achievement motivation, 3 ) there is a significant relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of learners in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota with count  of 0.410 at a significance level of 0.00 and r table is 0.227. Based on the findings of this study are expected to guidance and conceling teachers to be able to design a program appropriate services for students in the handling of issues related to self-concept and improve student achievement motivation in learning.
