Abstract

This study describes the implementation of the parenting program and looks at the changes in the character of students after the implementation of the parenting program at SD Negeri 6 Bireuen. Researchers used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of school officials, teachers, parents, school committees, and students. The results showed that the parenting program implemented at SD Negeri 6 Bireuen was running well by involving a socialization scheme, namely externalization, objectivation, and internalization of values and norms in the context of building student character. Changes in children's character are marked by changes in their daily attitudes that have become a habit. The values of character education that have been successfully implemented include religious values, discipline, responsibility, love for the environment, and honesty. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menggambarkan pelaksanaan pola parenting dan melihat sejauh mana perubahan karakter siswa setelah penerapan program parenting di SD Negeri 6 Kabupaten Bireuen. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas pejabat sekolah, guru, orang tua, komite sekolah, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program parenting yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 6 Bireuen berjalan baik dengan melibatkan skema sosialisasi yaitu eksternalisasi, obyektivasi, dan internalisasi nilai dan norma dalam rangka pembentukan karakter siswa. Perubahan karakter pada anak ditandai dengan perubahan sikap sehari-hari yang mulai menjadi suatu kebiasaan. Adapun nilai pendidikan karakter yang berhasil diterapkan diantaranya nilai religius, disiplin, tanggung jawab, cinta lingkungan, dan kejujuran.

Abstract

The local wisdom values of the Acehnese have proven to be used as a mechanism in conflict resolution. The problem of conflict is not only the social reality of the people of Aceh, but it has become a problem for the world community. Many conflicts occur in communities that require deep knowledge and broad insight into adat so that they can be resolved through deliberation and consensus. Knowledge of local wisdom and insight into customary-based conflict resolution is not evenly distributed among gampong apparatus, therefore this community service aims to strengthen the role of local wisdom-based conflict resolution to create peace in Gampong Meunasah Mesjid, Muara Dua sub-district, Lhokseumawe City. The method used is strengthening and capacity building. Stages of implementation, problem identification, program implementation in the form of training. So that it is hoped that capacity and knowledge development will be achieved, improvement of the social and cultural values of the community. The benefits and impacts of this training are that the community will gain a strengthened understanding of customary values and local wisdom that can be used as a means of conflict resolution in the national legal system; strengthening understanding of customary values and local wisdom according to Islamic law; the establishment of partnerships, friendship and cooperation between the campus and the community in maintaining peace in the community; preservation and improvement of values and the role of conflict resolution in sociological and cultural contexts in society.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the redesign of Islamic education which is focused on the development of Islamic education after the Islamic shari'ah was formally applied in Aceh. As it is understood that the application of Islamic sharia is a part of the historical mandate, and has become a characteristic of the social and cultural order of the Acehnese people which is thick with religious values, the latter is then strengthened by law regulations from the central government. The method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques namely literature review, interviews and observations while the analysis technique uses tryangulation. The result is that since the implementation of Islamic sharia in Aceh there has been a redesign of Islamic education, which is to strengthen the three centers of education which are also based and synergized with Islamic sharia. The three education centers are: first, the (formal) school from elementary school but up to tertiary institutions; secondly, the community (non-formal), at the level of the village where there is a meunasah and the study center as a place of study of tauhid, fiqih and tasawuf; and third, family (informal) through family strengthening. Thus the tri education center is enriched with Islamic sharia values that shape human character and noble character.Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang redesain pendidikan Islam yang difokuskan pada perkembangan pendidikan Islam setelah syari’at Islam diterapkan secara formal di Aceh.  Sebagaimana dipahami bahwa penerapan syari’at Islam merupakan bagian dari amanah sejarah, dan telah menjadi karaktersitik tatanan sosial dan budaya masyarakat Aceh yang kental dengan nilai-nilai agama, terakhir kemudian diperkuat dengan peraturan udang-undang dari pemerintah pusat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kajian literatur, wawancara dan observasi sedangkan teknik analisis memakai tryangulasi. Hasilnya adalah bahwa sejak penerapan syari’at Islam di Aceh terjadi  redesain pendidikan Islam yaitu menguatkan tiga pusat pendidikan juga berbasis dan bersinergis dengan syar’at Islam. Tri pusat pendidikan tersebut yaitu: pertama, sekolah  (formal) dari Sekolah Dasar tetapi sampai pada Perguruan Tinggi; kedua, masyarakat (non formal), pada level gampong yang terdapat meunasah dan balai pengajian sebagai tempat pengkajian ilmu tauhid, fiqih dan tasawuf; dan ketiga, keluarga (informal) melalui penguatan keluarga. Dengan demikian tri pusat pendidikan tersebut diperkaya dengan nilai-nilai syari’at Islam yang membentuk manusia berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Mosques as educational centers are not only found in the Middle East, but also in the Malay world this reality occurs as in Aceh, Demak, Banten and Bone. During the Kingdom of Bone until the Old Order period the mosque became the center of Islamic education in the form of recitation of the Qur'an and the Yellow Book which examined Islamic sciences such as Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir, Akhlak, Sufism and Arabic. Kadi and Imam Masjid were the main actors who carried out the teaching spread in the Watampone region as the capital city of the Kingdom. Then it developed into other regions such as Macege, Cabalu, Palakka, Awangpone, Pattiro, Barebbo, and Cenrana. Especially in Watampone, the study was held at the Kingdom Bone Mosque, the Al-Mujahidin Mosque which was the center of Islamic education fostered by the Kadi Bone and at the Masjid Watampone Mosque which was fostered by the Imam Masjid Raya. Recitations in the Palili region of the Kingdom of Bone are generally fostered by Kadi who are both Imam and Katte (Khatib) in their respective regions. The teaching system is the same as the teaching system that generally applies in the archipelago at that time, namely the wetonan/bandongan and sorogan methods. In the Bugis tradition the Bone system is referred to as the tudang mangaji.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh, especially regarding the role of border preachers in Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh Province. This research is a study of the sociology of law or empirical law that discusses the law in reality or the reality in people's lives. There are two data collection techniques used, namely literature review and in-depth interviews. This study concludes that the border preacher is a program of the Islamic Shari'ah Service which aims to support the implementation of Islamic law in border areas and remote areas in Aceh. Namely in the regions, Singkil, South Aceh, Subulussalam, Simeulu, Southeast Aceh, and Aceh Tamiang. Especially in Aceh Tamiang, the border preacher has carried out his duties and functions well, namely carrying out religious recitation activities, recitation of al-Qur’an education park, strengthen aqidah and maintaining religious harmony in society. Thus, in the context of the sociology of Islamic law applied in Aceh, it has a positive impact on the community in the sense that people are religiously obedient, their religious knowledge increases, strong aqidah and religious life becomes harmonious.

Abstract

Epistemology is the study of the source of knowledge or theories about science. Islamic epistemology views everything in a holistic manner that is not separate between aspects of the world and the hereafter, besides containing worldly values but also contains aspects of the afterlife. Epistemologically, knowledge in Islam is based on two things; first, through rational knowledge; secondly, through religious knowledge and experience, first is knowledge about beings and second is Divine reality. Therefore, in the philosophy of Islamic education, the source of knowledge is revelation over reason and the five senses. Revelation as the source of knowledge is what gives certainty to human reason about truth. Crisis of morality or human behavior is now an important factor occupying the epistemology base of true Islamic education, because education that is only able to educate intellectually and good skills is clearly considered a failure without being decorated with noble character.

Abstract

This article examines religion as social capital in realizing resilience in Aceh. The purpose of this research is to discuss how religion and its values become social capital, and how to socialize these religious values in society. This research is a qualitative research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from observable people's behavior. The theory used is social capital which believes that religious values, norms and beliefs contained in social structures and structures are able to bond and integrate society to move together to solve problems. The approach is ethnography, which is a written description of people's way of life. There are three data techniques, namely; interviews, observation and document study, then analyzed by exclusion, namely matching all data that has been obtained. The results showed that religion is capable of being a social capital, as well as having values and the norms of tawhid, patience, sincerity, tawakkal and togetherness; These values and norms have been socialized since Islam entered Aceh and continue to be carried out by families and religious leaders through education. Thus, through religion as social capital, it can create resilience in the face of disasters in Acehnese society

Abstract

This study examines the conflict resolution based on local wisdom in Aceh, focusing on the existence and role of traditional institutions in building peace and a frame of reference in banning conflicts in the city of Lhokseumawe. Local wisdom can be a resolution of the conflicts in society on the one hand, while on the other hand, it can bring a better impact than the formal justice. Local wisdom is laden with religious values that become a way of life of the Acehnese, ss mentioned in hadih majah (Aceh proverb): hukom ngon adat lagee zat ngon sifeut (religion and customs like substance and nature, in which they can not be separated.) This tradition is a very democratic conflict resolution without bloodshed between the two sides of the conflict, both vertically and horizontally. This research was conducted in the city Lhoksumawe using a qualitative approach and analyzed with the theory of structural functionalism. In this regard, we undertake the data collection method: in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document research. The results show that local wisdom still exists to resolve conflicts or disputes in society, such fighting between residents, lightweight theft (stealing) and land boundaries. While the role of traditional institutions in resolving conflicts or disputes is significant, and such traditional institutions, among others are: keuchik, tuha peut, imeum meunasah and other public figures.

Abstract

Abstract. This paper discussed the prevention and protection of village-based ABH with the Adat approach in Aceh. The number of ABH continues to grow which is caused by factors, the environment, wrong students, families are not harmonious, the lack of religious education. Not only in Indonesia, but also in Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Bangladesh formal legal processes have been left to be replaced by non-formal or diversion. However, the problem is the community's readiness and the responsibilities of parents in providing prevention and protection for ABH. In Aceh with traditional power which is thick with religious values it is able to provide prevention and protection even rehabilitation to village-based ABH. Some villages in Aceh have succeeded in making reusam gampong (village regulations) that put forward aspects of prevention and protection as well as strengthening traditional institutions (keuchik, tuha peut and teungku imum) and the role of parents. Sanctions given that are educational for example, cleaning meunasah, adhan for some time, memorizing some surahs in the Koran.Abstrak. Tulisan ini membahas tentang pencegahan dan perlindungan ABH berbasis gampong dengan pendekatan Adat di Aceh. Jumlah ABH terus bertambah yang disebabkan oleh faktor, lingkungan, salah didik, keluarga tidak harmonis, minimnya pendidikan agama. Saat ini bukan saja di Indonesia, tetapi juga di Jepang, Filipina, Malaysia dan Bangladesh proses hukum formal mulai ditinggal diganti dengan non formal atau diversi. Namun demikian yang jadi masalah adalah kesiapan masyarakat dan tanggung jawab orang tua dalam memberikan pencegahan dan perlindungan terhadap ABH. Di Aceh dengan kekuatan adat yang kental dengan nilai-nilai agama mampu memberikan pencegahan dan perlindungan bahkan rehabilitasi pada ABH yang berbasis gampong. Beberapa gampong di Aceh telah berhasil membuat reusam gampong (peraturan desa) yang mengedepankan aspek pencegahan dan perlindungan serta penguatan lembaga adat (keuchik, tuha peut dan teungku imum) serta peran orang tua. Sanksi yang diberikan yang bersifat mendidik misalnya, membersihkan meunasah, azan dalam beberapa waktu, menghafal beberapa surah dalam al-Quran.

Abstract

Penelitian inimembahasperanMPUdalam penerapan Syariat Islam Aceh. Masalah utamayangdikajiadalahperan ulamadalam masyarakat Aceh, posisi dan peran MPU serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam pelaksanaan SyariatIslam diAceh. Kemudian studi tersebut merupakan penelitian kualitatifyakniprosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan datadeskriptif berupa kata-kata yang tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang atau lembaga dan prilaku yang dapat diamati.Sedangkan dilihat dari obyeknya maka penelitian ini adalah studi lapangan (Field research,) yaitu riset yang dilakukandengan menjadikan MPU di Provinsi Aceh sebagai obyek kajian. Dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa ulama merupakankelompok elityang ada dalam masyarakat yang mempunyai pengaruh yang kuat sepanjang sejarah Aceh sampai saat ini.MPU memainkan peran yang cukup signifikan terutama dalam proses legislasi qanun, mem berikan fatwa dan masukankepada lembaga eksekutif, legislatif dan seluruh stakeholder di Aceh tentang kebijakan daerah, terutama yang terkaitdengan syariat Islam. Karena itu, MPU telah melakukan reposisiyang mempunyai nilai tawar dan pengaruh yang lebihkuat dibanding sebelumnya. Kemudian, faktoryang memengaruhi peran MPU yaitu, keseriusan pemerintah yang masihrendah, SDMMPU sudah memadai mesMpun masih perlu ditingkatkan dan legitimasi masyarakat yang cukup tinggi.
