Abstract

The problem in this research is that education during the Japanese occupation experienced various challenges for the people of Indonesia. The aims of this study are: 1) To analyze and describe education in Indonesia during the Dutch colonial period 1900-1942; 2) To analyze and describe education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation period 1942-1945; 3) To analyze and describe the driving and inhibiting factors of education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation period 1942-1945. The research method uses historical methods, namely heuristics, literature study, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the results of the study, the education that was applied during the Dutch colonial period was given differently and was limited based on race/ethnic social position. Entering the era of Japanese occupation in Indonesia, the Dutch Colonial education system was then changed to semi-military education by applying physical training to students, military and strict indoctrination. Nevertheless, the Indonesian people get many opportunities in the field of education. Education organized by the Japanese military government in Indonesia has developed, through the simplification of the system, all levels of indigenous people are given the right to be able to access it, until Indonesian is used as the language of instruction. However, behind the development there are obstacles in it starting from the lack of educators, the lack of textbooks, the decreasing number of students attending school and the number of schools also decreasing very drastically. Education carried out during the colonial era did not pay attention to education in the context of humanity, but only to maintain one-sided power, political and economic interests.

Abstract

The presence of the Mughal Empire formed a new civilization in the area which at that time experienced a decline and backwardness. The Islamic Mughal Empire was able to raise the spirit of the Muslims in India. This shows that the Mughal Empire was not the first Islamic empire in India. The purpose of this study is to describe the background of Sultan Akbar's life, to describe the policies implemented by Sultan Akbar, and to describe the influence of the policies implemented by Sultan Akbar in India. This research approach is historical research. This research method uses the Historiography method. This research was conducted at the UM Metro library by reviewing the literature on theMughal Dynasty during the reign of Sultan Akbar. The result of this research is that Sultan Akbar has a brave character and likes to play a role and also he has a tolerant soul, so that when he ruled in the Mughal kingdom he was famous for his tolerance. With the tolerant spirit that Sultan Akbar had, in ruling the Mughal empire he applied the Sulakhul (universal tolerance) policy. It deals with equal rights between Muslims and non-Muslims. Sultan Akbar in addition to implementing Sulakhul politics (universal tolerance), he also carried out various efforts in ruling in the Mughal kingdom including making Khana worship for the king's association with Muslim royal leaders in religious and government matters and making Din-i-Ilahi very controversy.

Abstract

The low ability to analyze students can be caused by external factors such as, the model or method used by the teacher is less suitable to the state of students in the classroom and internal factors such as the willingness of students or the interest of students to learn less. Based on the results of pre-survey conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Metro in the academic year 2017/2018 shows that students' analyzing ability in learning is still relatively low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Compositian Cooperative Learning Model (CIRC) to analyze student ability. Based on data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (two equity test average and difference of two mean) where result of pre test in experiment class is sig equal to 0,200 and control class with sig value equal to 0,181. Then it can be concluded that the data obtained more than sig> H0 is accepted, in other words the samples are normally distributed. Then the homogeneity test results that have been done by using One Way Anova that is by getting sig result 0,065. Then it can be concluded that the level of significance> 0.05 receives H0 or in other words both populations have the same or homogeneous variants. Furthermore, based on result of equation test of two sig average get 0,039 <0,05 then H0 is rejected which mean H1 accepted. The conclusion of this research is the influence in using Cooperative Learning Model Type Cooperative Integrated Reading and Compositian (CIRC) Against the ability to analyze history of class X students IPA1 SMA Negeri 4 Metro

Abstract

Minimum completeness criteria (KKM) on the history lessons are 77. The purpose of the use of models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write is to determine the effect of the use of models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write the ability to analyze the historical material class XI IPS SMAN 1 Pekalongan second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Design in this research is Quasi Experiment with shapes pretest-posttest control group design, the sample was selected using random cluster sampling technique. In this activity, this study researchers used models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write to encourage students to improve the ability to analyze. That the average yield of 78.24 experimental class learning and control class is 70.57 based on the average value obtained that the average value of 7.67 experimental class larger than the control class. Based on these calculations it can be concluded that the experimental class higher learning in the classroom compare control

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the local history teaching materials used in SMA N 1 Metro, (2) get a general description of the level of awareness of history of SMA N 1 Metro students, (3) get the module design of local history of Metro City to strengthen the awareness of history, (4) to describe the opinion of experts and practitioners about the feasibility of local Metro City's local history module in strengthening historical awareness. The method used in this research is research and development with the development model adapted from Sugiyono level 1, that is research to produce the product but not test it. The study results are (1) the use of learning resources in SMA N 1 Metro is still synonymous with textbooks or print and the internet, (2) the level of awareness of high school students N 1 Metro by 67% with high category, (3) module of local history City Metro is designed in accordance with the syllabus of the 2013 curriculum entitled 'History and Development of Metro City', (4) the result of material validation of phase one with percentage of 73% and stage two of 89%, an increase of 16%. The results of the design validation stage one 61%, after the improvement and validation test conducted in phase two to 89%, with a 28% increase. Based on the results of the validation, the local delivery module Metro City to strengthen the consciousness declared feasible test.

Abstract

The Purpose of developing research module of PQ4R’s based is to produce modul. Products that are tested by experts or experts both physically and by design. This research method module is research and development research which is carried out referring to Erni's research using the level 1 development model that is up to tested products Level 1 product development includes identification of potentials and problems in literature review and relevant research, product design, product validation and tested design. The results of this study show that product validation, namely the pq4r-based module is carried out twice in the first stage, validation is carried out on the design aspects and the module material aspects in the design aspects. obtained a module feasibility level of 62.5% with a feasible category Then in the material aspect, the feasibility percentage was obtained at 6 10 9.2% after the product was revised according to the suggestion, then re-validated in the second validation, the percentage of eligibility in the design aspect was obtained. ar 87% and on the material aspect 84% with very eligibility criteria, thus it can be concluded that the product or model developed has been tested byexperts with criteria very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This Integrated Social Media learning media refers to an image based learning media module. The image is a combination of points, lines, fields, and colors that are useful for telling something. This method can also be used by students to arouse their interest in learning, language skills, and help them interpret and memorize the contents of material from textbooks. The results of the pre-survey to teachers and students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari Nuban East Lampung showed that the learning media used were only limited to worksheets while printed books were already available at school but had not been maximally utilized by teachers. Then the researcher makes the development of a valid and practical image-based learning media module that can be used by students. This study uses research procedures and ADDIE development models. This development model consists of 5 stages of development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results showed that the image-based module learning media was appropriate to be used in learning. This is shown by the results of expert tests on the appearance of the design of instructional media based on images included in the criteria of "Very Valid" with a percentage of 90%, the results of expert trials on the presentation of instructional materials based on image learning modules included in the criteria of "Very Valid" with a percentage of 96%, and the results of testing students' responses to the learning media of image-based modules are included in the criteria of "Very Practical" with a percentage of 80.3%, thus it can be concluded that the learning media of image-based modules is a valid and practical learning media used in learning process.

Abstract

Facebook social media is a medium that is used to publish content, such as profiles, activities or even user opinions and also as a medium that provides space for communication and interaction in social networks in cyberspace. Facebook is in great demand by the Indonesian people, from children to adults from remote villages to city centers are familiar with Facebook. The breadth of the network created by Facebook makes its users think to take advantage of it, ranging from positive things to crime. The use of Facebook social media at this time is very diverse, as for the negative impact of Facebook social media that has occurred recently, namely a lot of news in print and electronic media regarding the misuse of Facebook social media, reporting on crimes and crimes that started from introductions on Facebook social media. . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Facebook social media on the character of social studies subjects for class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro for the 2019/2020 school year. The number of samples used as many as 55 students with the determination of the sample using stratified random sampling technique. The technique of data collection was done by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, regarding the effect of social media facebook on the character of students in social studies subjects for class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of social media facebook on the character of students in social studies subjects. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination (KD) the value of KD = 42.4% is obtained, which means: the effect of using Facebook social media on the character of students in social studies subjects is 42.4%, while 57.6% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. is known.
