Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the history and development of the Kepaksian Bejalan Diway Kingdom, analyze the role of traditional leaders in implementing social life, examine the relationship between Belasa Kepampang and the culture of the Lampung Sai Batin community, and reveal the key factors behind the persistence of cultural and social life in the Paksi Pak Sekala Brak Traditional Kingdom. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, literature studies, and interviews with traditional leaders and the Kembahang Village community. The findings show that the Kepaksian Bejalan Diway Kingdom is part of the Paksi Pak Sekala Brak Kingdom, which continues to uphold its customs to this day. Its history traces back to the transformation of the Hindu Sekala Brak Kingdom into the Islamic Kepaksian Kingdom following the arrival of four umpu from Pagaruyung. The role of traditional leaders is crucial in maintaining social harmony through the practice of Piil Pesenggiri values, such as Juluk Adek, Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyappur, and Sakai Sambayan. The relationship with Belasa Kepampang reflects the interconnectedness of local beliefs and the formation of the Sai Batin community's cultural identity. The primary factors sustaining the kingdom's existence are the community’s adherence to tradition, strong communication among the various kingdoms, and collective awareness of preserving ancestral culture.

Abstract

Real analysis is one of the main branches of mathematics that serves as a fundamental foundation for the development of science and technology. This study emphasizes the understanding of basic concepts such as real numbers, limits, continuity, the principle of mathematical induction, as well as deductive and axiomatic approaches as a strong framework for mathematical proofs. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by examining articles and journals related to both the theoretical aspects and the implementation of real analysis in solving mathematical problems. The findings indicate that the application of Polya’s method, visualization through demonstration, and the use of modern technology such as augmented reality (AR) can enhance the effectiveness of real analysis learning. These approaches help students connect abstract concepts with real applications, thereby strengthening logical, systematic, critical, and rigorous thinking skills. However, several learning difficulties are also identified, including the complexity of the material, weak learning habits, social influences, and inappropriate teaching strategies. Therefore, more applicative, interactive, and contextual learning strategies are needed to support the achievement of learning objectives. The conclusion of this review highlights that the integration of theoretical understanding, problem-solving methods, and innovative technology is a strategic step to improve students’ thinking quality in real analysis courses. Thus, real analysis is not only positioned as a theoretical subject but also as a medium for developing problem-solving abilities and higher-order thinking skills that are relevant to both academic needs and real-world applications.

Abstract

This study aims to improve fine motor skills with paper folding techniques in children aged 5-6 years RA Al-Ma'soem Kp. Cibuyut district. Ciawi Kab. Tasikmalaya. This type of research is a collaborative classroom action research using the Arikunto model. The research subjects were Group B children, which consisted of 13 children consisting of 5 boys and 8 girls. The object of this research is fine motor skills. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The instruments used are observation guidelines and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The success indicator that is set is if at least 75% of the 13 children have fine motor skills with good criteria. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the children's fine motor skills improved after the action through origami. At the time of pre-action observation, the percentage of children's fine motor skills was 15.4%. In the first cycle of 38.4% with an increase of 23%, in the second cycle of 84.6% with an increase of 46.2%. The percentage gain shows that the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years with good criteria have reached a success indicator of 75%. The steps taken to improve children's fine motor skills are 1) the teacher explains how to fold paper with the demonstration method; 2) children are given reinforcement; 3) the child is given a reward in the form of praise; 4) use colored folding paper to attract children's interest.

Abstract

Centella asiatica (L.) Urban contains flavonoids and triterpenoids with strong antioxidant activity; however, its topical bioavailability is limited by poor solubility. This study aimed to formulate and evaluate liposomal gel systems containing a 70% ethanol extract of C. asiatica to enhance dermal penetration while preserving antioxidant activity. The extract was incorporated into liposomes using a lecithin–cholesterol ratio of 9:1 and formulated into gels at concentrations of 0.3% (FG1) and 0.5% (FG2). Physicochemical characterization showed mean particle sizes of 119.8 ± 7.21 nm (FG1) and 101.3 ± 6.55 nm (FG2), with polydispersity index values of 0.410 and 0.306, respectively, indicating acceptable vesicle homogeneity across three independent replicates (n = 3). The formulations were physically stable for two weeks at 4 °C but exhibited instability at elevated temperatures. Antioxidant activity evaluated using the DPPH assay yielded IC₅₀ values of 13.87 ± 0.02 µg/mL for FG1 and 13.97 ± 0.06 µg/mL for FG2, which were not significantly different (p > 0.05) from vitamin C (9.16 ± 0.06 µg/mL), indicating preservation of radical-scavenging capacity. In vitro permeation studies using Franz diffusion cells demonstrated cumulative quercetin penetration of 280.86 ± 1.12 µg/cm² for FG1 and 314.40 ± 0.93 µg/cm² for FG2 over 4 h, with FG2 showing significantly higher flux (p < 0.05). Release kinetics followed a zero-order model (R² = 0.9881–0.9914), suggesting controlled release behavior. Overall, liposomal gel formulations show potential for improving topical delivery of C. asiatica without overstating long-term stability or therapeutic superiority.

Abstract

This study investigates how code-mixing is employed in the first season of the Indonesian web series My Nerd Girl, focusing on its linguistic forms, communicative functions, and specific types. In a multilingual setting like Indonesia, the blending of Indonesian and English frequently appears in everyday discourse, and this series provides a relevant representation of such practices. The main objective of this research is to describe how code- mixing occurs in the characters’ dialogues and to explain the roles it plays within the narrative. A qualitative descriptive design was applied, and Muysken’s (2000) typology was used to classify the linguistic patterns observed. Through this framework, three major types of code- mixing were identified: insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization. The analysis shows that insertion predominantly appears in the form of English nouns, adjectives, and short expressions that are embedded into Indonesian clauses to create emphasis or introduce a contemporary tone. Alternation surfaces when speakers shift between the two languages across phrases or clauses, often marking emotional shifts, relational positioning, or stylistic variation. Congruent lexicalization emerges when Indonesian and English elements share the same syntactic structure, reflecting the fluid bilingual practices commonly found among urban youth. Overall, the results indicate that code-mixing in My Nerd Girl functions as both a sociolinguistic feature and a narrative technique. Its strategic use supports character development, mirrors real bilingual communication, and enhances the series’ appeal to contemporary audiences.
