Abstract

Some members of the public still do not understand healthy homes, this causes one family member to have pulmonary tuberculosis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of healthy home knowledge level with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis disease in Surabaya. Design analytical research across sectional. A research image of 70 people, A large sample of 60 respondents was taken with the Simple Random Sampling technique. Independent variable levels of healthy home knowledge and variable dependent incidence of pulmonary TB disease. The data were analyzed using the statistic test Chi-Square with a p-value ≤ of 0.05. The results of the study were obtained from 60 respondents, with almost some (38.3%) low level of knowledge about healthy homes and most (68.3%) people with pulmonary TB. Data analyzed with Chi-Square statistic tests showed p=0.03 p-value ≤0.05, which means there is a relationship between healthy home knowledge levels and pulmonary TB disease. The conclusion of a healthy home does not cause the outbreak of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

Attitudes in maintaining cleanliness and performing dental and oral care must start from an early age. The causes of dental and oral health problems in the community include behavioral factors or attitudes in ignoring dental and oral care and hygiene. Objective: To analyze the relationship between attitudes in adolescents towards dental and oral health care. Methods: this study uses quantitative research methods and to determine the non-parametric test used in this study is the Chi Square. A sample of 41 youth youth respondents in the Kendangsari data was obtained through a questionnaire. Results. From the results of 41 respondents, 21 respondents (51.2% had a good attitude, 20 respondents (48.8%) had a bad attitude, 24 (58.5%) often performed good dental and oral care, dental care and very bad mouth as many as 17 (41.4%).Conclusion: From the results of this study it can be concluded that dental and oral care at Karang Taruna Kendang Sari Surabaya has no relationship between attitude and dental and oral care.It is hoped that further research and more counseling will be provided. continued on the youth of Karang Taruna Kendang Sari Surabaya.

Abstract

Pendahuluan Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini beberapa mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya beberapa masih memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah terhadap kebersihan rambut. Untuk meningkatkan kebersihan rambut diperlukan upaya pendidikan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pentinya kebersihan rambut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan terhadap kebersihan rambut pada mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya angkatan 2019. Metode penelitian yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrument pengukur berupa kuisioner berskala ordinal dengan tipe skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 19 responden (55,9%), masuk kategori pengetahuan tinggi, 11 responden (32,4%) masuk kategori pengetahuan sedang, dan 4 responden (11,8%) masuk kategori pengetahuan rendah. Kesimpulan dari hasil uji spearman dengan P value 0,049 < 0,05. Variabel pengetahuan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kebersihan rambut.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) ialah kadar gula darah mencapai angka yang melebihi batas normal. Resiliensi dapat diartikan sebagai proses keberhasilan agar penderita DM dapat beradaptasi dengan stress dan penyakitnya, sehingga perawat diri dalam penyakit tersebut menjadi baik. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat bagaimana korelasi resiliensi terhadap self-care pada lansia dengan DM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan observasi analitik terhadap 33 lansia, pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, intrumen pada 2 variabel menggunakan kuesioner yang memiliki kriteria yang berbeda dalam menentukan tingkatan skor untuk menghitung besar penilaian responden terkait variabel tersebut. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan spearman rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat resiliensi sedang sebesar 57,6%, sedangkan tingkat self-care buruk sebesar 63,6% terkait corelation ditemukan adanya hubungan antara resiliensi dengan self-care menggunakan besaran p value : 0.016(p < 0,05). Hasil penelitian yaitu adanya tingkat ketahanan pada orang lanjut usia terkait dengan kualitas perawatan yang mereka berikan untuk diri mereka sendiri; Dengan kata lain, kurang ketahanan dikaitkan dengan perawatan diri yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Background: MDRO is a significant problem in healthcare, particularly in the ICU. MDRO infections have a poorer prognosis and even death in ICU patients. The aimed of this study was to identify risk factors and prevention of MDRO in ICU patients. Methods: Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines through the following databases: Pubmed, Sciencedirect, and Scopus for studies published from 2021-2025 that report risk factors and prevention of MDRO in ICU patients. Results: Data from 1,357 articles resulted in 10 articles identified according to the inclusion criteria. The sample obtained was 10,969 ICU patients. Identified risk factors for MDRO infection were length of stay, antibiotic use, and patient clinical condition. Meanwhile, prevention measures include screening, antibiotic control, prevention of healthcare infections, and strengthening environmental hygiene practices and hand hygiene. Conclusion: Risk factors for MDRO infection can be prevented by early patient screening as well as standard precautions and contact precautions in all treatment rooms, especially in the ICU. Abstract

Background: Stroke causes neurologic disturbances that can cause changes in quality of life. Quality of life is mental, physical, social health and regardless of disease. In order to achieve a good quality of life, there must be a role for health workers. Discharge planning in stroke patients is preparing patients for treatment in healing and improving the health status of stroke patients. Purpose: The purpose of the literature review is to find out the importance of discharge planning in stroke patients. Methods: The research stage is to make a selection by paying attention to the year of publication and with full text. Furthermore, articles and journals that are considered less relevant are excluded. Literature was obtained from 10 articles relevant to Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search, DOAJ, and Garuda with the keywords Discharge planning, Quality of life and Stroke. Results: After reviewing the selected articles, it was found that discharge planning has a good impact on increasing family readiness in caring for patients, as well as improving the quality of life of stroke patients, namely being able to increase rehabilitation activities, prevent disease complications and adherence to taking medication and routine control. Conclusions: Improving the quality of life of stroke patients, which can improve rehabilitation activities, prevent disease complications and comply with taking medication and routine control.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), stroke remains the foremost cause of disability globally and ranks as the second leading cause of mortality. The progression of disability post-stroke is influenced by multiple interrelated factors, including advanced age, pre-existing comorbidities, cognitive dysfunction, and the initial severity of stroke at the time of onset. Various therapeutic approaches, including physical therapy to enhance muscle strength and coordination, occupational therapy to develop skills for performing daily activities, and psychosocial support, are essential components of rehabilitation programs aimed at improving the quality of life for stroke patients Objective this research for analyze the effectiveness of mindfulness therapy as part of ischemic post- stroke rehabilitation strategies in improving patients' quality of life and independence. Methods this research is A systematic review was conducted on studies published between 2020 and 2024. The search terms included: "Ischemic Stroke" OR "Strokes" OR "Cerebrovascular Accident" OR "CVA" OR "CVA's" AND "Disability" AND "Rehabilitation" OR "Rehabilitations Therapy" OR "Exercise Therapy”.Data identified from Pubmed 367, Semantic Scholar 287, Google Scholar 525, Science Direct 338, total number of articles used was 1517. Studies included in review 13 articles met the inclusion criteria and were deemed of sufficient quality. Eleven studies are RCT design, one study is One group pre- test post-test, and one study is quasi experiment design. Effective stroke rehabilitation requires a multidimensional approach that integrates physical exercise, community-based rehabilitation, technological innovations, and nursing interventions to enhance motor function, independence, and quality of life, with future research needed to evaluate long-term outcomes and personalized strategies.

Abstract

Permasalahan HIV merupakan isu kesehatan serius yang tidak hanya mengancam Indonesia, tetapi juga menjadi perhatian global. Masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memiliki pemahaman memadai mengenai risiko penularan HIV/AIDS, sehingga diperlukan upaya penanganan yang intensif dan berkelanjutan guna menekan laju penyebaran virus tersebut. Kegiatan integrasi antara pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai HIV/AIDS melalui pendekatan psikologis dan edukatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dengan pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal peserta, dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, sesi tanya jawab, serta pemutaran video edukatif berjudul I'm Proud I Know yang membahas pencegahan HIV/AIDS. Setelah sesi edukasi selesai, kegiatan ditutup dengan post-test guna mengevaluasi peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pada post-test dibandingkan dengan pre-test, yang menandakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat setelah mendapatkan intervensi berupa promosi kesehatan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif dan psikologis melalui metode IPIK (I'm Proud I Know) efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Total Knee Replacement (TKR) is a treatment for end-stage knee OA (Osteoarthritis) that does not show improvement after non-operative treatment. The psychological impact on patients who will undergo TKR surgery is stress and sleep quality disturbances. Spiritual Support Based On Visual Audio is a form of distraction for pre-TKR surgery patients to adapt to stress and sleep disturbances. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Spiritual Support Based On Visual Audio on stress and sleep quality in pre-TKR surgery patients. The method used was a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest with a control group design. A population of 20 patients used total sampling. The research instrument used a module, audio visuals containing prayers and hymns, the DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) Questionnaire with a validity of 0.862 and a reliability of a special stress questionnaire = 0.954 and the RCSQ (Richards Champbell Sleep Questionnaire) obtained a validity of 0.822 and a reliability of 0.891. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Rank Test. The results of the study obtained a p value <0.05, meaning that there is an effect of Spiritual Support Based on Visual Audio on stress and sleep quality in pre-TKR patients. The conclusion is that there is an effect of Spiritual Support Based on Visual Audio on stress and sleep quality in pre-TKR patients at Gotong Royong Hospital Surabaya.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus tipe 2 merupakan penyakit kronis yang memerlukan manajemen jangka panjang melalui kepatuhan diet dan pengobatan. Dukungan keluarga menjadi salah satu faktor eksternal yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet dan kepatuhan minum obat pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 68 responden yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan kuesioner kepatuhan diet serta kepatuhan minum obat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet (p = 0,002; r = 0,365) dan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan minum obat (p = 0,000; r = 0,456). Semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga yang diberikan, semakin tinggi pula kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani diet dan minum obat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peran aktif keluarga dalam program manajemen diabetes mellitus.
