Abstract

Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide, particularly in developing countries. Early prediction through machine learning has the potential to support clinical decision-making; however, cervical cancer datasets often suffer from severe class imbalance, which reduces the ability of conventional models to correctly detect minority cases. This study aims to improve minority class detection in cervical cancer prediction by evaluating several imbalance-aware ensemble learning approaches. The proposed study compares five models, namely Random Forest (RF), SMOTE combined with Random Forest (SMOTE+RF), Balanced Random Forest (BRF), EasyEnsemble, and RUSBoost. The models were evaluated using 5-fold cross-validation with performance metrics including accuracy, recall, F1-score, and Area Under the Curve (AUC). Statistical validation was conducted using the Friedman test, followed by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Kendall’s W effect size analysis to assess the significance and magnitude of performance differences. Unlike prior studies that primarily focus on performance improvement, this study introduces a statistically rigorous comparative evaluation to assess both significance and practical effect of imbalance-aware ensemble methods. Experimental results show that imbalance-aware ensemble methods significantly improve minority detection compared to the baseline RF model. In particular, BRF achieved the highest AUC of 0.9469 with improved recall stability, while RUSBoost produced the highest F1-score of 0.7451. Although the Friedman test indicated no statistically significant difference among models (p = 0.2037), the Kendall’s W value of 0.297 suggests a small-to-moderate practical effect. These findings indicate that imbalance-aware ensemble learning can enhance the robustness of cervical cancer prediction models, particularly for minority class detection. The results highlight the importance of incorporating imbalance-handling strategies in medical prediction systems and suggest potential directions for future research in improving diagnostic decision-support models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the theological meaning of water baptism, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the baptism of fire, focusing on the understanding contained in the Gospel of Matthew 3:11. Through a hermeneutic approach, systematic theology, and contextual analysis, this study examines the relationship between the three types of baptism in the context of salvation and the journey of faith of believers. Matthew 3:11, which contains John the Baptist's statement about the baptism of water, the Holy Spirit, and fire, is the starting point in exploring the meaning of each baptism, both historically, culturally, and theologically. The results of the study show that water baptism leads to repentance and renewal of life, the baptism of the Holy Spirit strengthens faith and empowers believers, while the baptism of fire functions as a purification and test of faith. This study also found that the three baptisms complement each other in shaping the spiritual life of Christians, and have relevant applications in contemporary church life. This study offers novelty by analyzing the theological meaning of water baptism, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the baptism of fire in Matthew 3:11 through a hermeneutic and systematic theology approach. The study highlights the interconnection of these three baptisms as complementary elements in shaping the spiritual life of Christians, as well as their relevance in the context of contemporary churches.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of augmented reality (AR) integrated educational games on student motivation in Islamic Education (PAI) classrooms. The research employed a qualitative case study design, conducted in selected schools in East Java, Indonesia, where AR-based gamified learning had been implemented. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using data condensation, display, and verification techniques to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that AR-integrated educational games significantly enhance intrinsic motivation by providing immersive, interactive, and narrative-driven experiences, while also fostering extrinsic motivation through gamification elements such as points, badges, and challenges. Students demonstrated higher engagement, perseverance, and collaborative behaviors, and educators reported improved understanding and participation in PAI lessons. The study contributes to educational theory by extending frameworks of motivation and digital learning to religious education contexts and offers practical implications for designing interactive, technology-enhanced pedagogy that supports both cognitive and socio-emotional development in students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies employed by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers to foster Islamic character values among middle school students through multimedia-based extracurricular activities. Specifically, it investigates how interactive digital tools, reflective exercises, and contextualized learning experiences contribute to the internalization of core values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and discipline. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected at SMP Hidmatul Hikam Alassumur through direct observations of extracurricular sessions, in-depth interviews with teachers, and document analysis including lesson plans and student portfolios. Findings indicate that multimedia integration significantly enhances student engagement, comprehension, and practical application of Islamic character values, with students demonstrating increased moral awareness and consistent ethical behavior. Teachers’ deliberate planning, continuous feedback, and reflective facilitation were identified as critical success factors. The study highlights the pedagogical potential of technology-enhanced activities in moral education and provides practical guidance for educators seeking to strengthen character development. The results suggest that integrating multimedia thoughtfully into extracurricular programs can foster sustainable moral growth and active value internalization among adolescents.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut pelaku bisnis e-commerce untuk menerapkan strategi retensi pelanggan yang inovatif agar mampu mempertahankan loyalitas konsumen di tengah kompetisi yang semakin ketat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Gamifikasi, Personalization, Loyalty Points, dan Notifikasi Push terhadap Retensi Pelanggan pada aplikasi belanja online. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional, dengan sumber data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada konsumen aplikasi belanja online di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26, serta melalui uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel independen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap retensi pelanggan, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Variabel Loyalty Points memiliki pengaruh paling dominan dengan koefisien β = 0.402, diikuti oleh Personalization (β = 0.290), Gamifikasi (β = 0.171), dan Notifikasi Push (β = 0.181). Nilai R² sebesar 0.736 mengindikasikan bahwa 73,6% variasi retensi pelanggan dijelaskan oleh keempat variabel tersebut. Temuan ini memperkuat relevansi teori Self-Determination Theory (SDT), Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), dan Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) dalam konteks perilaku pengguna aplikasi e-commerce.Kebaruan (novelty) penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi empat elemen strategis digital marketing, gamifikasi, personalisasi, program loyalitas, dan notifikasi push dalam satu model empiris yang komprehensif untuk menjelaskan mekanisme retensi pelanggan di platform belanja online. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengembang aplikasi dan manajer pemasaran digital untuk merancang pengalaman pengguna yang interaktif, relevan, dan berbasis motivasi intrinsik guna meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh User Experience Design dan Navigation Ease terhadap E-Satisfaction pada pengguna aplikasi Marketplace Mobile Shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional, dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui penyebaran kuesioner berskala Likert kepada 100 responden Generasi Z di Kecamatan Labuhan Maringgai. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, Hasil analisis menghasilkan persamaan regresi sebagai berikut:[Y = 17,000 + 0,340X₁ + 0,399X₂] di mana User Experience Design (X₁) dan Navigation Ease (X₂) berpengaruh positif terhadap E-Satisfaction (Y). Hasil uji t (parsial) menunjukkan bahwa User Experience Design memiliki nilai t = 5,038 (Sig. = 0,000) dan Navigation Ease memiliki nilai t = 5,995 (Sig. = 0,000), yang berarti keduanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap E-Satisfaction. Hasil uji F (simultan) menunjukkan nilai F = 59,604 dengan Sig. = 0,000 (< 0,05), yang menandakan bahwa kedua variabel independen secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap E-Satisfaction. Sementara itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,549 menunjukkan bahwa 54,9% variasi kepuasan pengguna dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel tersebut, sementara 45,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini mendukung teori User Experience (Norman, 2013), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (Davis, 1989), dan Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT) (Oliver, 1980), yang menegaskan bahwa pengalaman desain dan kemudahan penggunaan merupakan determinan utama kepuasan digital. Penelitian ini juga mengonfirmasi bahwa Generasi Z memiliki sensitivitas tinggi terhadap kualitas visual dan kemudahan navigasi aplikasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pemasaran dan kuantitas achievement terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen produk Wardah di Toko Femina Metro Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh instrumen penelitian valid dengan nilai r hitung > 0,361 dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha > 0,80. Uji asumsi klasik menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, tidak terjadi multikolinearitas (Tolerance > 0,10; VIF < 10), dan tidak terjadi heteroskedastisitas. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,462 dan signifikansi 0,001. Kuantitas achievement juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,381 dan signifikansi 0,003. Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 21,457 dan signifikansi 0,000. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,613 menunjukkan bahwa 61,3% keputusan pembelian dipengaruhi oleh strategi pemasaran dan kuantitas achievement. Kesimpulannya, strategi pemasaran dan kuantitas achievement memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen, sehingga perusahaan perlu mengintegrasikan kedua aspek tersebut untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

Kebakaran pada sektor rumah tangga merupakan salah satu ancaman domestik yang sering terjadi dan berpotensi menimbulkan kerugian material maupun korban jiwa, terutama apabila masyarakat belum memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam pencegahan serta penanganan awal kebakaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mitigasi serta kesiapsiagaan penanggulangan bencana kebakaran pada skala rumah tangga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Lapangan Desa Dagangan, Kecamatan Dagangan, Kabupaten Madiun, pada hari Sabtu, 15 November 2025, pukul 07.00–09.00 WIB, dengan melibatkan 20 orang ibu-ibu PKK Desa Dagangan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, sesi tanya jawab, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pemadaman api sederhana menggunakan kompor gas dan kain basah. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap partisipasi peserta, keaktifan dalam diskusi, serta kemampuan peserta dalam mempraktikkan teknik pemadaman api sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan antusiasme, terlibat aktif dalam sesi diskusi, dan mampu mempraktikkan langkah penanganan awal kebakaran secara langsung. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi mitigasi kebakaran berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar masyarakat terkait kesiapsiagaan menghadapi kebakaran rumah tangga. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya preventif untuk mendukung terciptanya lingkungan rumah tangga yang lebih aman, tangguh, dan siap menghadapi situasi darurat.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study examines the effect of differentiated learning strategies implemented in the Merdeka Curriculum compared to the 2013 Curriculum on student learning outcomes. Methodology: Using a quantitative comparative design, data were collected from report card scores of 36 students (20 from the Merdeka Curriculum and 16 from the 2013 Curriculum) and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Main Findings: Findings reveal a significant improvement in learning outcomes for students under the Merdeka Curriculum (M=79.95) compared to the 2013 Curriculum (M=77.40), with a mean difference of 2.55 (p < 0.05). Novelty/Originality of this study: This research highlights the effectiveness of differentiation in Indonesian curriculum reform and provides evidence for policymakers to adopt student-centered strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

Unemployment among Generation Z presents a serious challenge amidst the digital economic shift affecting social and spiritual aspects. This study aims to address: how Paul’s theology of work in 2 Thessalonians 3:10–12 is understood and what its implications are for the role of the church. The method employed is a qualitative approach through biblical exegesis and hermeneutics, supported by a literature review. The research findings indicate that work is a responsibility of faith that rejects passivity and dependency, and forms part of the Christian witness of life. Based on these findings, the church is understood as an agent of transformation that plays a role in shaping the work ethic, self-reliance, and responsibility of the younger generation. Consequently, the church needs to develop an integrative programme combining spirituality and economic empowerment as a concrete response to Generation Z unemployment.
