Abstract

Signal quality assessment is important procedure to assess if a signal can be preprocessed into next step or not. In this study, we proposed an improving of convolutional neural network with recurrent model and generative adversarial network. The experiment shows that enhancing convolutional neural network by using recurrent model or data augmentation via GAN for wearable ECG signal quality assessment is feasible to try. Adding recurrent model to CNN increase its performance by approximately 3% margin in un-augmented dataset. Generating fake samples from “unacceptable” class can enhance CNN performance up to 2% margin. Combination of recurrent model and GAN still not yet matched found. However, It doesn’t mean that the combination is impossible to do.

Abstract

Keys play an important role in a security system. Most room door security systems still use conventional door locks, especially in room management applications. Room management with conventional keys has several problems, such as long key searches for each loan, and easily lost and duplicated. Therefore, the authors propose a door lock system that is capable of automating room door control and supervision via the internet network. Research that has been done previously uses single factor authentication (SFA). This technology is less secure for the authentication process for parties/users who want to access the room. This research proposes that a system with multi factor authentication (MFA) aims to protect the system from unauthorized users. The MFA concept will be implemented by validating the physical token on the RFID card and the security code or PIN entered by the user. MFA also increases the level of security and allows the implementation of identification, verification and authentication to ensure user authority. The results of this study are system prototypes that can work well, the system can be realized using backend services using expressjs and data stored in cloud services that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere by the client. The system can also be realized using a combination of nodejs, expressjs, PostgreSQL and esp32 client technologies. The validation process at check-in can occur within 207ms. The server is reliable enough to execute 500 requests simultaneously. Overall, the system has worked well for room management.

Abstract

Wabah Covid-19 atau biasa dikenal dengan nama Corona Virus terus merebak di negara Indonesia tak terkecuali wilayah kota Depok dimana seluruh kelurahan kota Depok dipastikan sudah masuk ke zona merah Covid-19. Akan tetapi tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan masih rendah. Hal tersebut dikarenakan berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah ketersediaan masker yang terbatas dan alat mencuci tangan. Hal tersebut dirasakan oleh masyarakat di kelurahan Krukut, kota Depok. Hal ini lah yang melatar belakangi civitas akademika dosen dan mahasiswa dari Program Studi Teknik Multimedia Jaringan di Politeknik Negeri Jakarta untuk dapat secara cepat dan tanggap membantu pengadaan masker dan wastafel portable di lingkungan kelurahan Krukut, kota Depok. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan saat masa pandemik Covid-19 berlangsung. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari, yakti pada hari sabtu tanggal 5 september 2020. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pembuatan alat masker dan wastafel portable, dan sosialisasi penggunaan masker dan mencuci tangan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berhasil membuat 1600 masker yang diperuntukan terutama bagi masyarakat ekonomi bawah di kelurahan Krukut dan 8 buah wastafel portable yang nantinya di sebar di 8 titik di kelurahan Krukut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, seluruh peserta memahami pentingnya menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan serta mampu mengenakan masker dan menggunakan wastafel portable dengan baik. The Covid-19 outbreak, commonly known as the Corona Virus, continues to spread in Indonesia, including the city of Depok, where all urban villages in Depok are confirmed to have entered the red zone of Covid-19. However, public awareness of using masks and washing hands is still low. This is due to various factors, including the limited availability of masks and hand-washing equipment. The people in the Krukut sub-district, Depok city, feel this. This is the background for the academic community of lecturers and students from the Multimedia Network Engineering Study Program at the Jakarta State Polytechnic to be able to quickly and responsively help procure masks and portable sinks in the Krukut sub-district, Depok City. This activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of wearing masks and washing hands during the Covid-19 pandemic. The activity was carried out for one day on Saturday, 5 September 2020. The method of this community service activity was the manufacture of portable masks and sinks and the socialization of using masks and washing hands. This community service has made 1,600 masks intended for the lower-income community in the Krukut sub-district and 8 portable sinks, which will later be distributed at 8 points in the Krukut sub-district. Based on the test results, all participants understood the importance of wearing masks and washing hands and could use portable sinks properly.

Abstract

People's living standards are increasing with the development of the global economy, so that the production of domestic waste is increasing from year to year. However, in waste processing there is still a problem of mixing waste in landfills where hazardous waste is still mixed so that it can cause the spread of covid. Currently the trend is starting to shift to smart devices that use the Internet of Things to solve common problems such as waste management problems. In this study, a Mobile Smart Trashbin is proposed which can reduce direct interaction because it has an automatic opening and closing feature, can sort waste into hazardous and harmless, can transmit waste weight data, and can be controlled remotely and equipped with livestream. The developed system is tested by the methods of functionality testing, performance testing, and connectivity testing. Functionality testing gives the result that the whole system can work. Performance testing on the ultrasonic sensor results in an accuracy rate of 97.18%, the MG995 servo motor is at 100%, the weight sensor has an accuracy rate of 98.65%, and the use of batteries in standby can work for 13 hours 3 minutes 40 seconds and in a running state can work for 1 hour 56 minutes 42 seconds. The connectivity test of the average delay of robot control when given a command is 103.4ms, and the delay in sending waste weight data is 112.8ms.

Abstract

Energy demand in the world continues to increase in line with population growth and economic growth. Biomass is a renewable energy source that comes from living things which include plants, animals and their by-products such as garden waste, crops and so on. The mass of 0.0002 kg is the mass of the briquettes allowed on the bomb calorimeter test equipment, the test was carried out nine times for each variation of the mixture, where there were three variations of the mixture in the test, namely level 1 variation of the mixture of 25% candlenut shell charcoal, 65% coconut shell charcoal and 10% starch, level 2 variation mix 65% candlenut shell charcoal, 25% coconut shell charcoal and 10% starch, level 3 mixed variation 45% candlenut shell charcoal, 45% coconut shell charcoal and 10% starch . Briquettes are fuel that is compacted and formed in molds. The results of the analysis data were obtained using Minitab20 with product optimization of the Taguchi method. The optimum LHV value of the briquettes recommended by Taguchi was obtained from the mixed variation level 2 briquettes, namely 65% ​​candlenut shell charcoal and 25% coconut shell charcoal with an adhesive concentration of 10%, obtained a heat of 23884.252 kJ/kg against the uncontrol factor during briquette drying, namely speed wind 0.5 m/s, ambient temperature 37.4 °C, with air humidity 46% while in laboratory observations the optimum LHV value was in level 3 mixed variation briquettes with a value of 32054.208 kJ/kg with mixed variations namely 45% candlenut shell and 45% coconut shell charcoal with an adhesive concentration of 10% starch.

Abstract

This training aims to provide students with understanding and practical skills in making wrenches using bench work techniques. A Wrench is a tool used in various industrial and mechanical work, essential in tightening and loosening bolts and nuts. Through this training, students will be introduced to the basic principles of bench work techniques, including hand tools and an understanding of the materials used. The workshop will emphasize practical processes, from reading technical drawings to the final finishing stages. Students will receive instructor guidance in bench work and manufacturing techniques, enabling them to develop valuable hands-on skills in a manufacturing environment. By attending this training, students are expected to be able to apply the learning of the manufacturing process in actual practice. The training results show that all students can complete the products given even though there are still weaknesses, such as less accurate and precise products, because students do not have sufficient experience in hand skills and the use of simple bench work tools.

Abstract

Feed is a vital element crucial to supporting the growth and survival of livestock. Forages, commonly known as livestock fodder, serve as the primary food source for animals and form the foundation of livestock development efforts. Sei Mencirim Village has a livestock farmers' group named "Mencirim Ayu." This group comprises 15 farmers, each raising an average of 10 head of livestock, specifically goats/sheep. The issue faced by the group is the direct feeding of animals due to the lack of a feed chopper. The proposed solution involves creating and providing a livestock feed chopper machine and training on its usage. The outcome of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity includes implementing a chopper machine with a capacity of 30-50 kg/hour. Farmers can produce feed more economically for their livestock with this machine, potentially enhancing productivity.

Abstract

Community Service aims to increase the income of farmer groups by making hydroponics based IoT, the Mekar Ayu Farmers Group in Sei Mencirim Village has so far relied on horticultural farming by using agricultural land that is very dependent on nature and controlling hama by spraying anti-pests which results in the harvest being contaminated with these anti-pest substances. Farming groups have not utilized the empty land around the group members' housing which can be used to create various businesses that can increase their members' income, such as training in hydroponics, sowing water spinach and bok choi seeds. The problem is that there is no hydroponics yet, even though the land for laying hydroponics is mostly in the homes of members of farmer groups. So far, farmer groups have relied on agricultural land and knowledge of sowing seeds. IoT-based hydroponic production training solutions and seeding and pest control training until harvest arrives.

Abstract

A repository is a system used to store data in the form of information such as archival documents, journals, or papers in an institutional institution. In this research, a repository system design will be made for the Department of Informatics and Computers at the Jakarta State Polytechnic based on the semantic web. Semantic technology allows the system to understand the meaning of information. This repository uses apache jena fuseki as data storage with SPARQL, which is made with the Resource Description Framework scheme. The final result of this research becomes a repository system that has been successfully applied to the final project collection in 2020 with regular and specific search features to facilitate the search for a document

Abstract

The design of a printing application aims to serve customers online in the printing business. This application is in the form of a website to facilitate integration between data and exchange information between customers and employees at Printop printing. Customers can determine the specifications for the products they choose according to their needs. The results of this design to become an application are expected to be a way to simplify the ordering process and be a solution in minimizing the density of visitors at the printing location when orders are getting busy. For customers' convenience, they do not have to wait for the processing time in the immediate place; besides that, the customer can order it anywhere. The test was carried out using a BlackBox, and the score was 90.69%, and the user acceptance test was 90%. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the application is running functionally, and according to user needs.
