Abstract

The use of the internet in Indonesia, especially in educational institutions, especially universities, relies on the internet to find a collection of information and references related to courses. One of the units in a university that uses the internet by utilizing a website-based information system is the Jakarta State Polytechnic library (PNJ). Website plays an important role for agencies as a good website reference one of which can be assessed in terms of User Interface (UI) that has an attractive look and User Experience (UX) to improve the convenience of website users. In the development of front end website libraries using the User Centered Design (UCD) method,, bootstrap framework, HTML5 programming language, CSS and Javascript. At the design evaluation stage in the form of a wireframe using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, getting score is 83, blackbox testing to measure website functionality gets results in accordance with the scenario, User Experience Questionnaire(UEQ) testing to measure the comfort level of website users gets positive results.

Abstract

The number of traffic violations that occurred in the Depok area from 2017 to 2019 has fluctuated, from 2017 as many as 33,600 cases, 2018 as many as 52,100 cases and 2019 as many as 42971 cases. In each year an increase in violations occurs and the ability of applications to distribute data will decrease. This happened to the Traffic Unit of the Depok Metro Police, with the increasing number of handling data on accidents and data on violations that occurred in Depok City, of course, it must be balanced with an increase in the system as an online reporting medium. From the above explanation, it can be concluded that to solve this process, it is necessary to have a new architecture, namely the microservice. Microservice allows the development of software functions to be broken down into small, focused service parts, making the service have resource capabilities that can be precisely managed and dividing application functionality into small and interconnected services into a single business application process. This architecture integrates data between units, distributes data related to cases of traffic violations or accidents that occur in real time by local police officers, and provides information on traffic violations and specific accidents.

Abstract

Recently, Deep learning methods with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have been widely used for image classification tasks. CNN has an unrivaled advantage in extracting discriminatory image features. However, many existing CNN-based methods are designed to go deeper and more significant with more complex layers that make them challenging to implement on mobile devices or real-time devices that use microcontrollers like raspberry pi, Arduino, and immediately. This is overcome by using a Light Convolutional Neural Network (LCNN), so it needs to experiment to test the difference in LCNN performance on a personal computer and a raspberry pi four microcontrollers with a Raspbian operating system. Experiments will be carried out using several performance measures: accuracy, F-1 score, recall, precision, and time to get performance results from deep learning. As such, the results and model architecture will confirm performance differences across individual devices and show how the model performs on resource-constrained or real-time devices. Tests show that the performance of the raspberry pi, which is a tool with limited resources, does not affect the quality of image recognition but affects the recognition processing time because the raspberry pi requires a longer processing time to perform one data or photo recognition process. This will accumulate the time required for processing many data, so it can conclude that the raspberry pi and tools with limited resources are not very practical for conducting recognition training and carrying out a recognition process that contains a lot of data or photos in one process.

Abstract

In this study, an analysis was conducted on a steam power plant system with a capacity of 2 x 7 MW based on coal. The coal fuel used by the majority of refined sizes is not in accordance with the recommendations of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The main objective of the study was to analyze the system components separately and to measure the exergy value of the components, covering the electrical energy so that it is known which equipment experiences the greatest energy loss as well as knowing the efficiency value of the equipment used. Efficiency and exergy are calculated using plant operation data. The results of the study found that the largest exergy destruction occurred in boilers, meaning that there was the largest energy loss in this section with a value of 37.34 MW (16.71%), while the destruction of the smallest exergy occurred in condensers of 0.58 MW (99.24%).

Abstract

With the E-Mas feature, customers can easily perform transactions such as gold savings, gold pawning, and gold installments online. This research is a type of library research using a systematic literature review methodology, which involves collecting, evaluating, integrating, and presenting findings from various studies related to a specific topic. Therefore, this research consists of three stages: collection, evaluation, and presentation. The collection stage is conducted using the Publish or Perish search engine with the Google Scholar database. The keywords used are “E-Mas BSI Mobile,” with a time range from 2021-2023. The research results reveal that the practice of digital gold investment in the E-Mas BSI Mobile product at Bank Syariah Indonesia does not contradict Sharia economic principles and identify the factors influencing consumers to transact E-Mas, along with some shortcomings in its marketing.

Abstract

The use of electricity that has covered every area of ​​the earth is a valid fact. This makes electricity a primary need that must be continuously provided to meet the needs of the community. Based on these known facts, as much as 50% of this electricity user is in the form of a household scale. Therefore, a research was conducted on the analysis of the technology system conversion in the PV-grid-battery design at a household scale. This study aims to determine the level of technology conversion in the pv-grid-battery design at a household scale so that electric customers can utilize solar panel technology more optimally and well. The method used in this activity is to use a direct observation and data collection system. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of solar panels with a capacity of 120 Wp x 2 can help in backing up loads on a household scale. The household load power which is the parameter in this research activity is 450 VA (based on the power of the household kWhmeter).

Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan upaya-upaya mendukung literasi dan numerasi siswa, serta meningkatkan adaptasi teknologi di sekolah-sekolah sasaran, khususnya dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan literasi, numerasi, dan penguasaan teknologi oleh peserta didik dan guru. Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 4 di SMP Santa Maria Maumere merupakan inisiatif mahasiswa untuk memperkuat pendidikan di era new normal. Melalui intensitas pembelajaran setiap hari Senin hingga Sabtu, pukul 07.00-12.00, program ini berhasil mengatasi berbagai permasalahan pembelajaran di sekolah sasaran, termasuk literasi, numerasi, adaptasi teknologi, dan administrasi sekolah. Tim mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar memberikan bantuan dalam proses mengajar di dalam dan di luar kelas, memanfaatkan bahan ajar tradisional dan teknologi modern seperti komputer, laptop, handphone, LCD, proyektor, dan games. Pelatihan Microsoft Word dan PowerPoint membantu peserta didik menguasai keterampilan teknologi yang krusial. Pojok baca dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi metode efektif untuk menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik. Program ini mencapai kesuksesan dengan memberikan dampak positif pada literasi, numerasi, dan adaptasi teknologi peserta didik.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini menggali peran program kreativitas mahasiswa skema pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam menghasilkan produk inovatif berbasis sumber daya lokal dari daun Annona muricata. Fokus pengabdian ini adalah pada pemanfaatan daun Annona muricata sebagai tanaman obat tradisional. Annona muricata memiliki banyak manfaat dikarenakan mengandung senyawa tannin, resin dan crytallizable magostine yang berfungsi sebagai analgesik (pereda rasa sakit) yang kuat serta bersifat sebagai antioksidan. Namun, pemanfaatan daun Annona muricata sebagai tanaman obat keluarga masih sangat tradisional, seperti direbus lalu diminum atau dihaluskan dan dioleskan pada bagian tubuh yang terasa sakit. Oleh karena itu, Pengabdian ini mengusulkan inovasi dalam bentuk produk yang memiliki nilai utilitas yang tinggi berupa Anamurita Natural Balm. Proses pengolahan tanaman obat keluarga berbasis Annona muricata yang dikombinasikan dengan aroma terapi dari minyak peppermint dan lavender menjadi produk yang lebih bernilai guna dan ekonomis, sehingga memberikan efek relaksasi bagi penggunanya. Produk ini diharapkan menjadi solusi pemberdayaan Kelompok PKK Desa Lemoape yang selama ini kurang produktif menjadi lebih produktif. Selain itu, produk ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Lemoape, Kecamatan Palakka, Kabupaten Bone. Meskipun mencapai beberapa target tahapan produksi, seperti persiapan, koordinasi, penyediaan alat dan bahan, demonstrasi dan pelatihan, masih ada tantangan dalam peningkatakan penjualan dan pemasaran. Adapun rencana ke depan adalah memperkuat promosi online dan menjalin kerja sama dengan institusi serta beberapa organisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between community experience and brand community commitment within the context of offline brand communities. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey method, the study investigates the mediating effect of community experience on brand community commitment. The sample using 80 members of the Sampoerna Retail Community in Area Medan 2, Preliminary analysis indicates a moderate positive correlation between community experience and brand community commitment, with community experience explaining approximately 57.9% of the variability in brand community commitment. This research provides valuable insights into the relationship between community experience and brand community commitment in offline settings. The findings have implications for businesses aiming to strengthen brand community commitment and foster brand loyalty within offline brand communities.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to develop and implement solar-powered automatic fish-feeding tools to improve operational efficiency in fish farming. Using 10 WP solar panels is expected to reduce dependence on expensive and unstable conventional electrical energy, especially in areas with limited energy access. The method used in this activity was a direct trial at the Medan City Fish Seed and Cultivation Center, where several vital parameters were measured, such as tilt angle, azimuth angle, zenith angle, and time clock angle. The test results show that this device can operate effectively by utilizing solar energy optimally, especially when the sun's position is at the right angle. The efficiency of solar panels reaches a high level, allowing the battery to be charged in a relatively short time. The conclusion of this activity shows that this tool can help fish farmers automate feeding in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner while reducing operational costs. This technology has the potential to be applied more widely, providing a positive impact in increasing productivity and saving costs in fish farming businesses.
