Abstract

The development of a comprehensive and efficient library catalogue system is essential for improving accessibility to information in modern educational environments. This research addresses the inefficiencies of manual cataloguing methods at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi’s library by proposing an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)-based E- catalogue system. The system, developed using Visual Basic and Microsoft Access, streamlines the book-searching process, enhancing user access to book details such as authors, titles, and synopses. The system’s user-friendly interface supports features like search, administration, and data backup, improving both search efficiency and user satisfaction. This research contributes to the advancement of library management systems, demonstrating the potential of OOP-based design for future applications in similar academic institutions. Future research can build on this work by integrating machine learning techniques for personalized book recommendations and expanding the system's scalability.

Abstract

The Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School (PPS) IQRO does not yet have a website to support the learning process and promote IQRO PPS to parents of prospective students, donors, partners, government, and other organizations. The implementation team and partners have held discussions to address these problems. To deal with the first problem, the first thing to do is to do a Need Analysis or needs analysis from PPS IQRO related to the website. Need Analysis will be conducted with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving elements of managers, teachers, and students, as well as several community leaders. The solution that has been agreed upon is to first design a profile website based on the results of the Need Analysis and FGD. After that website development for partners. To overcome the second and third problems is to conduct training on the development and management of profile websites and learn about the elements found in partners. The solution that has been agreed upon is to schedule the training, which is preceded by a Pre-Test and ends with a Post-Test to determine the level of understanding and skills. In addition, there will be assistance for the next 3 years in managing the website.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi sistem layanan akta kelahiran online berbasis Android menggunakan React Native, dengan fokus pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (DISDUKCAPIL) di Kota Palangka Raya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memudahkan masyarakat dalam pendaftaran layanan pembuatan akta kelahiran secara efisien melalui aplikasi berbasis Android, mengurangi penumpukan antrian di kantor DISDUKCAPIL, dan meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan DISDUKCAPIL. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Hasil penelitian adalah aplikasi sistem layanan akta kelahiran online berbasis Android menggunakan React Native. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan masyarakat melakukan pendaftaran akta kelahiran melalui ponsel pintar dengan mudah. Penggunaan aplikasi ini dapat mengurangi penumpukan antrian di kantor DISDUKCAPIL dan meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi aplikasi sistem layanan akta kelahiran online berbasis Android dapat memperbaiki efisiensi dan responsifitas layanan publik. Saran yang diberikan adalah sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai penggunaan aplikasi ini, pelatihan kepada petugas DISDUKCAPIL, perhatian terhadap infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai, serta evaluasi dan umpan balik dari masyarakat untuk perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan. Dalam konteks pelayanan publik, aplikasi ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi pemerintah daerah lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat mengakses layanan pembuatan akta kelahiran secara lebih efisien, menghindari penumpukan antrian, dan memperoleh pelayanan yang lebih baik dari DISDUKCAPIL. ABSTRACT This research aims to develop an Android-based online birth certificate service system application using React Native, with a focus on the Population and Civil Registration Office (DISDUKCAPIL) in Palangka Raya City. The purpose of this study is to facilitate the public in efficiently registering for birth certificate services through the Android-based application, reduce queues at the DISDUKCAPIL office, and improve the performance of DISDUKCAPIL services. The system development method adopts a qualitative approach through a case study. The result of the research is an Android-based online birth certificate service system application using React Native. This application allows the public to easily register for birth certificates through their smartphones. The use of this application can reduce queues at the DISDUKCAPIL office and improve service performance. This study concludes that the implementation of the Android-based online birth certificate service system application can improve the efficiency and responsiveness of public services. Recommendations provided include socializing and educating the public about the use of this application, training for DISDUKCAPIL personnel, ensuring adequate technological infrastructure, and conducting evaluations and feedback from the public for improvement and quality enhancement. In the context of public services, this application can serve as an example for other local governments to adopt technology in order to improve the quality of services provided to the public. With the availability of this application, it is hoped that the public can access birth certificate services more efficiently, avoid queuing, and receive better services from DISDUKCAPIL.

Abstract

The Population and Civil Registration Office (DUKCAPIL) of Palangka Raya City uses WLAN network technology as an internet access service for its employees. The large number of users and not yet conducted research on the quality of WLAN network services causes problems to arise and network disruptions in the service. The purpose of this study is to obtain the parameter values of delay, packet loss, throughput and jitter which are measures of WLAN network performance quality.  This research uses the research action method, while to retrieve data is done by download and upload methods. The results showed that in general the quality of service at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Palangka Raya City was medium to best with details as follows: for delay and jitter parameters included in the hight category, packet loss parameters included in the best category and throughput included in the medium category.

Abstract

The promotion of Kereng Bangkirai Pier Tourism is still limited to a web that displays photos of objects in the tourist area. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out more interesting promotions by utilizing Augmented Reality technology, because this technology is able to combine 2D or 3D virtual objects into the real environment, creating a mixed space (mixed reality) in real time. This research aims to develop a mobile-based Augmented Reality for Kereng Bangkirai Pier Tourism. This AR application is also expected to help in marketing and promoting tourism at Kereng Bangkirai Pier, providing more informative and interesting information to visitors. This study uses an observation method to collect the necessary information. As for application development, the SDLC method is used, which is then implemented with the Unity editor with the Vuforia SDK. The application can be installed and operates properly on Android version 8.0 – 8.1 (Oreo) and above and the resolution is above 5mp. In this application, the main menu and display are displayed in the form of Pier Tourism Icons, ecotourism natural tourism displays, types of natural tourism, educational tours, general information on the pier, culinary tours, application instructions and about the application. Based on the results obtained from the questionnaire, this application is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Darul Arqom Dasar (DAD) adalah kegiatan wajib bagi mahasiswa baru Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) Averroes Palangkaraya yang bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dasar tentang Muhammadiyah dan IMM. Proses pendaftaran DAD saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga kurang efisien dan memakan waktu serta tenaga. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi pendaftaran berbasis web responsif menggunakan metode waterfall dengan bahasa pemrograman HTML, CSS, dan PHP. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pendaftaran, dengan fitur utama seperti pendaftaran peserta, pengelolaan profil IMM, dan pengunggahan dokumen. Implementasi aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menyederhanakan proses administrasi, meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, dan mempermudah pengelolaan kegiatan DAD secara lebih terstruktur. Selain itu, inovasi ini mendukung transformasi digital dalam administrasi IMM, memberikan solusi modern yang mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi organisasi.

Abstract

Over the past two decades, the rapid evolution of medical imaging technologies has become a critical driver of innovation in healthcare. The urgent need for faster, more accurate, and non-invasive diagnostic tools has led to the development of high-field MRI, multislice CT, 3D and 4D ultrasound, and hybrid modalities such as PET/CT and PET/MRI. This review aims to provide a chronological overview of these technological advancements and to evaluate their broader social and clinical impacts. Using a systematic literature review of publications indexed in major databases between 2000 and 2023, the study identifies key milestones in imaging innovation and assesses their influence on diagnostic precision, patient outcomes, and healthcare accessibility. The findings show that the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning has substantially enhanced image interpretation, early disease detection, and treatment personalization, while also introducing new ethical and policy challenges. The novelty of this work lies in its dual emphasis on technological evolution and societal transformation, offering a comprehensive understanding of how medical imaging continues to shape modern medicine and public health.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) menuntut sistem yang mampu memahami kondisi emosional pengguna secara otomatis, namun metode konvensional seringkali terkendala oleh variasi ekspresi dan pencahayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan algoritma Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dalam mengklasifikasikan tujuh emosi dasar wajah secara real-time melalui platform berbasis web. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan model pengembangan Waterfall, memanfaatkan dataset FER2013 untuk melatih model CNN yang kemudian diintegrasikan dengan OpenCV dan TensorFlow.js untuk pemrosesan sisi klien. Sistem dirancang untuk menerima input dari webcam maupun rekaman layar guna mendukung observasi pembelajaran daring. Hasil pengujian terhadap 10 responden guru menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja dengan rata-rata akurasi keseluruhan sebesar 65,4%. Evaluasi persepsi pengguna menggunakan skala Likert menghasilkan skor interpretasi sebesar 85,2%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa sistem masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu monitoring emosi dalam interaksi digital.

Abstract

Pengguna sistem masih belum waspada dengan adanya ancaman terkait keamanan data dan informasi, terkait dengan Information Technology Security. Perlu adanya kepedulian tentang IT Security tidak hanya untuk pengelola sistem, tetapi juga mahasiswa sebagai pengguna sistem, dan masyarakat pada umumnya. IT Security dalam hal ini termasuk didalam nya adalah keamanan data pribadi, kesadaran menjaga data pribadi, dan mencegah kebocoran data. Fokus untuk landasan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat kali ini adalah pada peningkatan Skill dan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan kepedulian tentang IT Security yang selama ini masih relatif rendah. Selain itu, para peserta akan diberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman terkait E-Commerce, yang termasuk didalamnya adalah strategi membuat akun di marketplace dan pemasaran produk di e-commerce tersebut. Untuk lebih memperluas dampak dan manfaat kegiatan ini, maka tim kami akan melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan sasaran mahasiswa Ma’had Asy-Syafii yang sehari-hari belajar tentang Agama Islam, Al Quran dan Hadits. Karena keterbatasan mobilitas di masa pandemic Covid-19 ini, maka kegiatan yang semula direncanakan seecara langsung dengan metode tatap muka, maka pada realisasinya dilakukan dengan virtual meeting dengan aplikasi Zoom Meeting.Â
