Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based palm oil (CPO) production forecasting system by applying the Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) method to the production data of PT Lonsum Turangi. The data used includes 60 monthly data from 2020 to 2024. The first 36 data were used for model training, while the remaining 24 data were used for validation. Research instruments included semi-structured interviews and participatory observations to understand the operational patterns and needs of the system in the field. Triple Exponential Smoothing method was chosen for its ability to handle level, trend and seasonal components simultaneously, making it superior to other time series forecasting methods that require large volumes of data. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The test results show a good level of prediction accuracy with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 17.34% at an alpha value of 0.1. This system not only improves prediction accuracy, but also provides practical benefits in production planning, meeting market demand, and reducing potential losses due to production imbalances. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the TES method into a web-based decision support system specific to the CPO industry.

Abstract

This study designs a web-based online menu ordering system for the UMKM Solo Fried Chicken (SFC), located on Jl. Binjai KM.10.5, Paya Geli, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The system is built using PHP and MySQL, with a responsive design to allow customers to place orders anytime and anywhere. The applied technology aims to address several issues previously faced by UMKM SFC, such as slow and inefficient manual ordering processes, long queues, and order recording errors that affect service quality. Additional problems include the lack of available menu information, the absence of a recommendation system to assist customers in choosing menus, and the unavailability of a digital system for recording transactions and sales reports. The main problem addressed in this study is how to build a web-based online ordering system that not only simplifies transactions but also accurately recommends menus based on customer preferences. As a solution, this research implements the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method to recommend menus based on the purchasing patterns of other customers with similar preferences. Based on the calculations, the system recommends the top three most relevant menus for each main menu item, such as Combo Original Paha for Ayam Paha, and Kidz 3, which frequently appears as a recommendation due to its similarity with many customers' preferences. This system is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, accelerate service, and provide a more personalized ordering experience. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi, khusunya pengguna smartphone dan internet, telah menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam kehidupan modern sekarang ini, dimana banyak aplikasi android dan mobile yang digunakan dalam berbagai bidang untuk mempermudah tugas dan pekerjaan yang ada, termasuk di dunia pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, aplikasi e-raport berbasis Android menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk pengelolaan nilai siswa secara efisien dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) pada aplikasi e-raport guna meningkatkan keamanan dan manajemen akses pengguna. Dengan RBAC memungkinkan pembatasan akses berdasarkan peran atau role yang diberikan dan yang telah ditetapkan, sehingga hanya pengguna dengan hak akses tertentu yang dapat melakukan tindakan sesuai perannya pada aplikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik obeservasi dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Implementasi RBAC pada aplikasi e-raport di MIN 15 Langkat diharapkan dapat meminimalisir kesalahan input nilai, mencegah manipulasi data, dan menjaga keamanan data siswa. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan peran masing-masing pengguna.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology plays a very important role in life, both in the fields of education, industry, business, tourism, entertainment and so on. To improve service quality, an effective information system is needed. This system serves to switch from manual methods to computerized systems. With the information system, the accuracy of the data stored can be guaranteed, thus reducing the possibility of errors when inputting data. Ummi Primary Clinic is one of the level I health facility clinics in Medan in providing health services to the community. To find out customer needs, customer relationship management (CRM) is needed to manage interactions with customers, and can improve service quality and loyalty to customers. The purpose of this research is to build a Management Information System for Ummi Pratama Clinic in Improving Services and Loyalty Using Web-Based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to facilitate clinic owners and patients in order to improve the quality of services at Ummi Pratama Clinic. In this study, researchers adopted a descriptive qualitative approach method, the Waterfall Method was applied to structured research in building a software. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that this system is a web designed according to the needs of Ummi Pratama Clinic which is useful for managing clinic relationships with customers. The information generated by CRM is beneficial for the clinic and customers, because criticism, suggestions, needs and desires of customers can be well facilitated and become a motivation for the clinic to improve services for satisfaction.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus begal dan tindak kriminalitas di wilayah hukum Polres Medan Belawan menimbulkan keresahan masyarakat serta menunjukkan perlunya sistem deteksi dini yang efektif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berbasis geofence guna memetakan dan memantau wilayah rawan kejahatan secara real-time. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka, observasi lapangan, serta wawancara dengan pihak kepolisian. Sistem dibangun dalam dua platform: aplikasi web untuk admin dan aplikasi Android bagi masyarakat. Data lokasi kejahatan dikonversi menjadi koordinat geografis, lalu dihitung jaraknya terhadap posisi pengguna menggunakan rumus Haversine. Salah satu hasil perhitungan menunjukkan jarak aktual 285 meter (manual) dan 290 meter (aplikasi) dari titik rawan Jl. Pelabuhan Raya, dengan selisih hanya 5 meter dan akurasi sistem mencapai 98,2%. Sistem akan memberikan notifikasi otomatis saat pengguna berada dalam radius 500 meter dari lokasi rawan. Hasil pengujian black-box menunjukkan seluruh fungsi berjalan dengan baik, termasuk login, CRUD data, integrasi peta, dan sistem peringatan berbasis lokasi. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi geofence dalam SIG mampu meningkatkan deteksi dini, mempercepat respons aparat, serta meningkatkan kewaspadaan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, sistem ini efektif dalam mendukung strategi pencegahan kriminalitas secara sistematis dan real-time. Implikasinya, pendekatan ini dapat direplikasi untuk pengawasan keamanan wilayah lain yang memiliki tingkat kriminalitas tinggi.   The rising cases of robbery and street crimes in the jurisdiction of Polres Medan Belawan have caused public concern and highlighted the need for an effective and adaptive early detection system. This study aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) integrated with geofencing technology to map and monitor high-crime areas in real time. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through literature review, field observation, and interviews with local police authorities. The system was developed on two platforms: a web-based application for administrators and an Android-based application for the public. Crime location data were converted into geographic coordinates, and the distance from users’ positions was calculated using the Haversine formula. One calculation result showed a manual distance of 285 meters and a system-generated distance of 290 meters from a high-crime area on Jl. Pelabuhan Raya, with only a 5-meter difference and an accuracy rate of 98.2%. The system automatically triggers alerts when users enter a 500-meter radius from dangerous zones. Black-box testing results confirmed that all system features—such as login, data CRUD operations, map integration, and location-based notifications—functioned properly. The findings demonstrate that integrating geofence technology into GIS significantly enhances early crime detection, accelerates law enforcement response, and raises public awareness. In conclusion, the system proves effective in supporting systematic and real-time crime prevention strategies. The implication is that this approach can be replicated in other urban areas with high crime rates as part of a broader digital security initiative.

Abstract

SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan, sebagai sekolah menengah pertama, menghadapi masalah dalam pengelolaan data akademik yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga mengakibatkan keterlambatan, ketidakakuratan, dan rendahnya efisiensi dalam layanan administrasi sekolah. Akibatnya, layanan menjadi kurang baik dan ada banyak kemungkinan kesalahan dalam penginputan informasi. penelitian ini bertujuan mendesain dan menerapkan Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) berbasis cloud dengan penerapan prinsip Manajemen Kualitas Total (TQM) di SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 8 Medan. Metode penelitian mengaplikasikan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, pelaksanaan, dan pengujian sistem. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengujian black box untuk memastikan fungsi sistem dan melalui wawancara dengan pengguna mengenai kepuasan serta manfaat sistem. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TQM pada SIAKAD berbasis cloud dapat meningkatkan efisiensi input data hingga 40%, menurunkan kesalahan administrasi sebesar 35%, serta menaikkan kepuasan pengguna mencapai 92%. Studi ini menekankan bahwa penggabungan TQM dengan sistem informasi berbasis cloud tidak hanya memperbaiki aspek teknis, tetapi juga mendukung kualitas layanan pendidikan secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based Guest Book Information System at PT. PLN (Persero) UPDL Tuntungan Medan as a solution to the inefficiencies of manual guest registration, which is often prone to errors and data loss. The main objective of this research is to design and implement an information system that improves operational efficiency, data recording accuracy, data security, and service quality for visitors. The research employed the Waterfall Model with stages including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the developed system successfully replaced manual processes with faster, more accurate, and integrated digital processes. Key features include guest data recording, searching, reporting, and security management through authentication. In addition to enhancing efficiency and security, the system also supports environmental sustainability by reducing paper usage. Therefore, the web-based guest book information system can serve as an effective digital solution model for improving administrative performance and organizational services.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi manusia, saat ini angka pengidap gangguan pada kesehatan mental masyarakat di Indonesia cukup tinggi, sekitar 20% populasi di Indonesia itu mempunyai potensi-potensi masalah gangguan jiwa. Telah banyak upaya dalam mengatasi masalah gangguan kesehatan mental seperti layanan konsultasi kesehatan mental secara online. Klinik Utama Bina Atma merupakan salah satu klinik yang melayani konsultasi masalah kesehatan mental. Namun terdapat permasalahan khususnya pelayanan kepada pasien dikarenakan belum adanya sistem konsultasi online bagi pasien, hal ini mengharuskan pasien harus terus melakukan konsultasi secara tatap muka yang menyebabkan proses konsultasi belum dilakukan secara efektif. Oleh karena itu dibangun aplikasi online theraphy berbasis mobile dengan menerapkan Metode Human-Centered Design untuk mempermudah pasien dalam melakukan konsultasi secara online. Aplikasi Online Theraphy Klinik Utama Bina Atma berhasil dibangun dengan menerapkan metode human centered design, dimana aplikasi ini digunakan untuk sesi konsultasi antara pasien rawat jalan dan dokter yang bertugas, terdapat 3 user yang dapat mengakses aplikasi ini diantaranya, staf klinik, dokter dan pasien.

Abstract

Medan City Tourism Office in providing tourism location information is currently still using the official website that only displays explanations about tourism and mapping of tourist location points only, the current system is less efficient and makes tourists or the public not know much about the location or route to be passed and search for tourist attractions in the city of Medan. Researchers try to solve the problem by implementing a geographic information system implemented with OSM (Open Street Map). In this study, data collection using qualitative methods and applications was developed using waterfall methods. The results of the analysis will be described using UML (Unified modelling language). The results of this study show that the geographical information system of tourism to find out the location point and the nearest route can provide benefits to tourists and local people to travel in the city of Medan.
