Abstract

21st-century skills generally refer to the core competencies of digital learning, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. These skills are developed to help learners cope with modern developments. Learners are seen as individuals who are active learners, rather than spectators and listeners. The study aimed to investigate the implementation of 21st-century learning through the application of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach.  The research method is descriptive qualitative, which describes the results of interviews, questionnaires, and observations conducted by researchers. The results of the data analysis of fourth grade students in IPAS (Social and Science Subject) learning show better results, the mean score of students is 82.21 with the performance of students above the criteria for achieving learning goals as high as 84 percent, i.e. 16 students and 16 percent, i.e. 3 students have still not achieved KKTP. The highest score is 100 and the lowest score is 41. The percentage shows that the implementation of 21st-century learning by applying the TaRL approach helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and intellectual skills and shows that students' learning outcomes have improved.

Abstract

21st-century skills generally refer to the core competencies of digital learning, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. These skills are developed to help learners keep up with modern developments, as learners are now considered active learners and not just spectators and listeners. Based on this opinion, the skills that are expected to be formed are critical thinking skills, digital literacy knowledge and abilities, information literacy, media literacy, and mastering information and communication technology. Research is carried out through qualitative methods through the stages of observation, interviews to identify problems, conducting discussion group forums, making questionnaire instruments, observation guidelines, and interview guidelines. This is confirmed by the learning outcomes available to students, as they have been completed thoroughly. Science Learning Grade 4 students performed well, with an average student score of 82.21 points higher than the Learning Objectives Achievement Standard of 84 percent, or 16 points and 16 percent, which means 3 students have not met the Learning Objectives Achievement Standard. The maximum price is 100 and the lowest price is 41. These percentages indicate that applying the TARL method and problem-based learning (PBL) models to 21st-century learning improves students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and intelligence.

THE EFFECT OF THE USE OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL ON THE RESULTS OF LEARNING SUBTEMA HOW THE BODY CREATES CLEAN AIRThe Effect of Using Problem Based Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of the Subtheme How the Body Processes Clean Air. Thesis of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pakuan University, 2021. This research is a quasi-experimental research. This study aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes of the subtheme of How the Body Processes Clean Air through the use of Problem Based Learning Models for Class VB students and Conventional Learning Models for Class VA students. This research was conducted at Bangka 03 State Elementary School, Bogor City, Class VA and Class VB from July to August in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Calculation of N-Gain Problem Based Learning model is 81 with high criteria, and the conventional model value is 70 with medium criteria. So that the N-Gain in the experimental class with the Problem Based Learning model is greater than the control class with the conventional model. Researchers conducted a normality test with the Liliefors test, both samples were normally distributed because the values for both samples were smaller than Ltable. In the Problem Based Learning class group, the value of Lcount Ltable is 0.139 0.161, in the control class group the Lcount Ltable is 0.058 0.161. Then in the homogeneity test, the data is homogeneous because Fcount Ftable, the value is 1.35 1.88. Furthermore, in hypothesis testing, it was found that tcount of 14.59 was greater than ttable of 2.00404, indicating that H0 (zero hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) was accepted. Based on the research above, it can be stated that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the first learning through Problem Based Learning and Conventional Learning Models..

Abstract

Inclusive schools are educational services provided for children with special needs in obtaining proper education. government policy contained in Law Number 20 of 2003 in article 32 and Permendiknas number 70 of 2009 namely by providing opportunities and opportunities for children with special needs to obtain education in regular schools. In inclusive schools, it is possible for children with special needs to learn together with normal children, and be treated like normal children. This shows the positive impact of inclusive schools on children with special needs from a psychological perspective. Various problems that have arisen after more than 10 years of implementation in inclusive education practices indicate that there are challenges that hinder the implementation of inclusive education in Indonesia. One of the factors is the competence of teachers who have not been able to handle children with special needs in regular classes. The success of implementing an inclusive school depends on the competency of the teacher and the cooperation between the school and the government.

Abstract

Students need to have a religious character as this helps to develop noble values and a strong understanding of religion, which are essential for success in sustainable living. Cultivating religious character needs to start from elementary school, including in grade V students of SDN Sindangsari. Unfortunately, the study of religious character cultivation in students has not been observed, therefore, the encouragement to research the analysis of religious character cultivation in grade V students at SDN Sindangsari is in-depth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the cultivation of religious character in class V students at SDN Sindangsari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a strategy of collecting data from interviews, observations, recordings, and distributing questionnaires. Student participants and teachers of grade V of SDN Sindsngsari. Extensive analysis will be carried out using the research data obtained. The findings of the study show that when teachers exemplify good religious character, through YouTube videos by acting out characterizations involving their students, it has a great positive impact on their students, including teaching five prayers at five times, teaching strategies for reading the Qur'an, and equipping students with the values of cultivating religious character. Teachers must also ensure that their students can worship and show obedience to their religious teachings, such as praying before and after studying. Positive traits that teachers must have include not discriminating against religious beliefs always being actively involved in every learning and always respecting and obeying religious regulations. This is continuously carried out in every learning in the classroom and applied in the personal lives of students.
