Abstract

Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome merupakan penyakit yang sering ditemui pada neonatus dan anak-anak berusia kurang dari 2 tahun. Penyakit ini memiliki gejala serupa dengan Stevens-Johnson Syndrome dan nekrolisis epidermal toksik. Dibutuhkan penegakan diagnosis yang cepat dan tepat dikarenakan penyakit ini termasuk kegawatdaruratan yang dapat ditemukan pada bayi dan anak. Sistem ginjal pada bayi dan anak-anak yang belum matang, kurangnya imunitas, dan tidak adanya antibodi maternitas pada mereka yang tidak mendapat ASI menjadi faktor rentannya anak anak dan bayi terhadap S4. Anak berusia 1 tahun 4 bulan dibawa ibunya ke RS dikarenakan kulit yang melepuh pada hampir seluruh tubuh disertai penebalan krusta pada area muka setelah sebelumnya mendapat terapi antibiotik. Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome dapat memberikan prognosis yang baik apabila ditangani dengan tepat dan cepat. Pemberian antibiotik yang tepat dapat mengeliminasi kuman dan pemberian terapi suportif dapat meringankan gejala pasien.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran di PAUD melalui pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis hand on practice dan media digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama TK Pertiwi Tedunan Jepara dengan melibatkan 10 guru TK. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory empowerment, di mana guru berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran manual serta penerapan aplikasi digital Animal 4D di kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif, serta meningkatnya motivasi dan inovasi dalam proses pengajaran. Program ini berkontribusi pada penguatan praktik pembelajaran di PAUD sekaligus mendukung kesiapan pendidik menghadapi tuntutan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk beradaptasi dengan sistem pembayaran non-tunai, salah satunya melalui Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). Namun, banyak UMKM yang mengalami kendala dalam penerapan QRIS, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman, minimnya literasi digital, dan kurangnya pendampingan teknis. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi pelaku UMKM di Desa Mayong Lor dalam mengimplementasikan QRIS guna meningkatkan efisiensi transaksi dan daya saing usaha. Mitra dalam program ini adalah beberapa pelaku UMKM di Desa Mayong Lor. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan partisipatif, meliputi sosialisasi manfaat QRIS, observasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui kebutuhan mitra, pelatihan pendaftaran akun, serta implementasi penggunaan QRIS dalam transaksi harian. Pendampingan dilakukan secara langsung agar pelaku UMKM dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan QRIS dengan lebih efektif. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terkait penggunaan QRIS, kemudahan proses transaksi, serta peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap usaha mereka. Beberapa UMKM berhasil menerapkan QRIS secara aktif meskipun terdapat kendala teknis seperti jaringan internet yang kurang stabil. Dengan demikian, program ini efektif mendorong digitalisasi transaksi UMKM dan diharapkan berkelanjutan melalui pendampingan lanjutan serta penguatan literasi digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kepuasan belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA Stambuk 2023 terhadap implementasi sistem blok berbasis KKNI di Universitas Negeri Medan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket daring skala Likert yang terdiri dari 15 pernyataan kepada 78 responden dari kelas A, B, dan Bilingual, lalu dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berbasis persentase. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi pada aspek metode pembelajaran dan penilaian (82,05%), motivasi belajar (73,08%), serta peningkatan kemampuan akademik (74,36%), sementara tugas-tugas KKNI dipersepsikan relevan terhadap capaian pembelajaran (55,13%) dan cukup mendukung pengembangan berpikir kritis serta pemahaman materi (±53,85%). Namun, mahasiswa juga melaporkan kendala utama berupa rendahnya persepsi keruntutan materi (32,05%), keterbatasan waktu pengerjaan tugas (33,33%), beban tugas yang dirasa terlalu berat (47,44%), serta mayoritas merasa kewalahan akibat padatnya jadwal dan tuntutan tugas (87,18%), yang berdampak pada rendahnya dorongan keaktifan belajar (20,51%). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem blok berbasis KKNI efektif meningkatkan fokus, motivasi, dan kapabilitas akademik mahasiswa, tetapi membutuhkan evaluasi pada manajemen beban tugas dan strategi penyampaian materi agar lebih sistematis, terarah, dan berkesinambungan dengan tetap memperhatikan kesejahteraan akademik mahasiswa

Abstract

The Mendhak Sanggring tradition is a cultural practice still maintained by the people of Tlemang Village, Lamongan. This tradition is seen as having spiritual, symbolic, and social values that are crucial for the continuity of community life. This study aims to uncover the meaning of the Mendhak Sanggring tradition through the perspective of Herbert Blumer's Symbolic Interaction, specifically by examining how this meaning is formed, maintained, and reinterpreted by the community. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the meaning of the Mendhak Sanggring tradition is formed through a process of social interaction that has been passed down through generations. This meaning is manifested in four main aspects: respect for ancestors, cultural identity and collective pride, safety and protection from disaster, and social harmony. Based on Blumer's Symbolic Interaction perspective, this meaning emerges through three premises: community actions are driven by the symbolic meaning inherent in tradition; these meanings emerge from social interactions between residents and traditional leaders; and they undergo continuous negotiation and reinterpretation as generations change. This research confirms that Mendhak Sanggring functions not only as a spiritual ritual but also as a mechanism for cultural reproduction and strengthening collective identity within the community.

This study examines the relationship between the behavior of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) specifically ChatGPT and the self-efficacy of Guidance and Counseling students at Universitas Negeri Makassar, as well as explores differences based on gender. A quantitative correlational approach was employed with 171 fifth-semester students selected through stratified random sampling to ensure proportional representation of each class. The instruments used were the AI usage behavior scale and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), with data collected online. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship between ChatGPT usage and self-efficacy, as indicated by the high categories in the magnitude (70,8%), strength (77,2%), and generality (98,8%) dimensions. Additionally, no significant differences in self-efficacy were found based on gender. These findings highlight that AI utilization contributes to enhancing students’ academic self-confidence and underscores the importance of digital literacy in optimizing AI use.

Abstract

Systematic monitoring of children's growth and development is very important for early childhood educators. However, many PAUD institutions still record child development manually, which is less efficient, and risks data accuracy. Technology integration is the right solution to answer these challenges. This community service aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize information technology to monitor children's growth and development, optimizing the recording of developmental data through the SIPPA application. This activity is carried out in stages; Preparation, socialization, technical training, implementation of SIPPA use practices, monitoring, and evaluation. The subjects of this activity are all teachers of Baiturrohim Kindergarten. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the capacity of Baiturrohim Kindergarten teachers in managing child development data digitally. The teachers showed high enthusiasm for the integration of technology in the administrative process of documenting children's growth and development. In addition, this activity also has a positive impact on the institution as a whole, because the recording system becomes more organized, transparent, and easily accessible when needed. In the future, it is hoped that teachers' ability to use the SIPPA application can continue to be developed in an ongoing manner, so that recording children's development is not only an administrative obligation, but also an important instrument in designing learning that is more targeted and based on actual data.

Abstract

Sex education in early childhood is a preventive effort to foster children’s understanding of body protection and privacy awareness. This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility and effectiveness of APLT (Aku Pintar Lindungi Tubuh) digital media as a supporting tool for early childhood sex education. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The effectiveness of the developed media was tested using a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design. The results indicate that the APLT media was highly feasible, based on expert validation. Effectiveness analysis using normalized gain (N-gain) showed a moderate level of effectiveness, indicating an improvement in children’s understanding of body protection concepts, including protected body parts, appropriate and inappropriate touch, and body privacy awareness. These findings suggest that APLT media is moderately effective and functions as a supportive learning resource rather than a stand alone intervention. Therefore, APLT digital media has the potential to support early childhood sex education within a limited and guided instructional context, particularly in strengthening children’s initial understanding of body protection and privacy awareness.

Abstract

Hearing impairment in children is a health issue that significantly affects communication abilities and social development. The role of parents is crucial in the early detection and intervention process, which is influenced by the level of knowledge and attitude toward the child’s condition. The research aim to evaluate the validity and reliability parents' knowledge and attitudes toward hearing impairment in children questionnaire adaptation in bahasa indonesia. In the context of the Deaf Family Solo Raya (DFSR) community.  This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 30 parents who are members of the DFSR community. The instrument used was a questionnaire adapted from the 2007 Position Statement and studies by Kaspar et al. and Alsudays et al., comprising 25 items on knowledge and 6 items on attitude. Validity was tested using Pearson correlation, and reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson correlation with the assistance of SPSS version 26. All items on the knowledge and attitude variables were declared valid (p < 0.05) and reliable, with Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.963 (knowledge) and 0.761 (attitude). A significant positive correlation was found between parental knowledge and attitudes toward childhood hearing loss (r = 0.761; p = 0.000). A high level of knowledge is closely associated with a positive attitude in addressing childhood hearing loss. This study recommends the importance of community-based educational and parental empowerment programs to support optimal early detection and intervention.
