Abstract

Basic immunization is a preventive measure in the form of vaccination for children that aims to boost immunity so that various infectious diseases can be prevented. Based on document searches, the Lelogama Community Health Center is one of the community health centers with basic immunization coverage below the standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing incomplete basic immunization. The research design used in this study was cross-sectional. The research was conducted in the working area of the Lelogama Community Health Center. The research was conducted in July 2025. The population consisted of all mothers who had babies aged 9-24 months. The sample consisted of 60 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed a relationship between spousal support (p value: 0.000) and access to health services (p value: 0.025) with incomplete basic immunization. It is recommended that health center staff provide information related to immunization, not only to mothers but also to fathers, and provide training and guidance to cadres so that they are able to educate and convey information to parents regarding immunization, enabling cadres to independently provide understanding to parents. Keywords: Children, Spousal Support, Immunization.

Abstract

Abstract: Population issues have long been a global concern, both in developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. A large population does not always benefit a country if it is not balanced with adequate human resources. The purpose of this study was to identify several factors related to mothers' interest in using IUD contraceptives. A cross-sectional study design was used in this study. The research was conducted in the working area of the Sungai Bulian Community Health Center. The research was conducted in April 2025. The research population consisted of active family planning acceptors in the working area of the Sungai Bulian Community Health Center. The sample consisted of 65 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed a relationship between mothers' knowledge (p value: 0.000) and husbands' support (p value: 0.000) with mothers' interest in using IUD contraception. It is recommended that health centers improve public understanding by engaging with the community. It is necessary to change the knowledge and socio-cultural beliefs of the community regarding misconceptions about IUDs, especially for women of childbearing age, by providing counseling and education explaining what IUD contraceptives are, how they are inserted, their effectiveness, advantages, and disadvantages. Keywords: Spousal Support, IUD, Maternal Knowledge.

Abstract

Nurse performance is influenced by various factors, both individual and organizational. Based on in-depth interviews conducted with five practicing nurses at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar, several issues related to leadership style and nurse performance were identified. The findings indicate that the leadership style of nursing leaders is not yet fully perceived as effective by all practicing nurses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership style and nurse performance. A cross-sectional design was used in this study. The study was conducted at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar. The study was conducted in April 2025. The study population consisted of all 37 practicing nurses in the inpatient ward, who also became the study sample. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between leadership style (p value: 0.045) and nurse performance.
