Abstract

Android education application was a medium for health promotion to reduce the incidence of juvenile drug abuse. This study aims to analyze differences in knowledge of adolescents about drugs using the android education application at SMAN 8 Kota Kediri. The population in this study were all teenage boys and girls in class X in SMAN 8 Kota Kediri with a total of 350 students with a sample of 179 students, the sampling technique used Cluster Random Sampling. Data analysis using statistical tests WilcoxonMatch Pairt Test test results get a Zcount value of -11.409 (absolute value) with a significance of 0,000. Because Zcount has a significance of less than 0.050 (sig <0.050), Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. so that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on knowledge before and after being given an android education application

Abstract

Premature Rupture of Membranes (PROM) is rupture of membranes more than one hour before onset of labor. One of the complications caused by PROM is asphyxia. The longer the rupture of the membranes the greater the risk of fetal distress. By the rupture of the membranes the amniotic fluid volume decreases and there is an emphasis on the umbilical cord so that there is less supply of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus which causes the newborn to have asphyxia.The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the length of premature rupture of membranes during labor with asphyxia of the new born infant in Aura Syifa Kediri Hospital. This study used an observational research design with a Cross Sectional approach.

Abstract

The incidence of dysmenorrhea itself according to the World Health Organization is quite high throughout the world. On average in European countries, dysmenorrhea occurs in about 45 until 97Percent of women. With the lowest prevalence in Bulgaria 8.8Percent and the highest reaching 94Percent in Finland. In Indonesia, the figure is estimated at 55Percent of productive women whose activities are disrupted by dysmenorrhea. This type of research is Literature Review using databases including Google Schoolar, ScienceDirect, GARUDA and Research Gate. This article search used the PEOS formula. There are research results showing that respondents have a good level of knowledge, sufficient and less. Respondents handled dysmenorrhea by consuming anchovies painkillers, compressing warm water, eating nutritious foods, exercising lightly and reducing caffeine consumption.

Abstract

Abstract: The physical development of adolescents is not only seen in terms of size, but also functional changes, especially in the reproductive organs. The menstrual cycle in women can be disrupted by anxiety and lack of physical activity. The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation of anxiety levels and physical activity with the menstrual cycle in adolescent girls. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at 2 high schools in Palopo City in September 2023. The population was all 11th grade adolescent girls. The sample amounted to 60 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between anxiety level (p value: 0.023) and physical activity (p value: 0.043). It is recommended to the community, especially for adolescent girls who have menstruated, to always improve their knowledge about reproductive health, especially about menstruation to reduce the level of anxiety during menstruation and know what physical activities are good to do during menstruation.Keywords: Physical Activity, Anxiety, Menstruation.

Abstract

Abstract: Risk behavior among adolescents is influenced by various factors, both from the family environment, social, and access to information and health services. Based on an initial survey conducted by the author to several schools in Samarinda City, information was obtained from 35 students, 75% said that they refused if a friend or the opposite sex invited them to watch porn or go on a date, and 65% said that their parents always controlled their activities. The purpose of the study was to determine the risk factors for sexual behavior in adolescents. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in 5 high schools in Samarinda City. The research was conducted in June 2024. The population in this study were all grade XI students. The sample amounted to 56 people. The sampling technique used in this study was Stratified Random Sampling Technique. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between the role of parents (p value: 0.000) and the role of peers (p value: 0.014) on sexual behavior in adolescents. It is recommended that health workers maximize adolescent health services in promotive and preventive aspects of reproductive health and sexuality through the PKPR program. Activate adolescent mentoring activities through the PKPR program, and counseling activities. Furthermore, conduct monitoring and evaluation of PKPR program activities in schools so that the program can run continuously with the hope that students are exposed to correct information about adolescent reproductive health and risky premarital sexual behavior can be avoided.Keywords: Parents, Teens, Sex

Abstract

Despite being preventable, cervical cancer is still considered the leading cause of death among women from developing countries. This cancer can be prevented by implementing early detection using the VIA method. The VIA village program, which was developed in 2020, is now revitalized with the same goal of reducing the incidence of cervical cancer. This time, the program will be implemented in Bandar Lor village, Kediri City which is included in the Sukorame Health Center area with 90 participants. Activities carried out include socialization, education and simultaneous VIA examinations. The team will also evaluate which parts are not yet understood by the community regarding early detection of cervical cancer through the IVA method, so that in the next program, more focused education can be carried out.

Abstract

Pemerintah telah berupaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan lansia melalui pembentukan Posyandu lansia sebagai wadah pelayanan kesehatan. Pemanfaatan Posyandu ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan secara optimal, karena sikap positif lansia dalam mengikutinya sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Pengetahuan menjadi faktor penting yang membentuk sikap dan partisipasi lansia terhadap layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan lansia tentang Posyandu dengan sikap mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan Posyandu di Desa Keniten, Kecamatan Mojo, Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 107 lansia, dengan sampel sebanyak 84 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Spearman’s Rho pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap lansia terhadap kegiatan Posyandu (p-value = 0,000 < 0,05). Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan lansia dapat mendorong terbentuknya sikap yang lebih positif dalam berpartisipasi pada kegiatan Posyandu. Abstract

Metode Operasi Wanita (MOW) memiliki angka kontrasepsi terburuk di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan metode KB lain. Liputan media tentang buklet MOW untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan di kalangan wanita usia subur tentang metode kontrasepsi, karena informasi salah yang tersebar melalui media tentang MOW menyebabkan penggunaannya kurang dimanfaatkan. Mengkaji dampak media buklet MOW terhadap pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang kontrasepsi MOW merupakan tujuan utama dari penelitian ini. Metode berdasarkan desain one-group pretest-posttest; 55 peserta dipilih secara acak dari kumpulan calon peserta. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dan kualitasnya dinilai menggunakan uji peringkat bertanda Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil, 87,3% peserta memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang topik tersebut sebelum mendapatkan buklet MOW, dan 98,2% memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik setelah menerimanya. Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa media buklet memengaruhi pengetahuan wanita usia subur tentang kontrasepsi MOW (nilai-p = 0,000) < (p = 0,05). Jadi, buklet membentuk cara wanita usia subur memandang metode MOW sebagai alat kontrasepsi.

Abstract

Literacy problems in higher education impact students' ability to contribute to society after they graduate. Students who do not have adequate literacy skills will have difficulty communicating and interacting with various parties, which are important skills in the world of work. Therefore, it is important to create programs that can improve literacy skills among students. This research aims to analyze the influence of student involvement in creating three-dimensional wall magazines on literacy skills. This research employs a quantitative design, utilizing a quasi-experimental approach. This research purposefully selected two sample groups, a group of students involved in 3D media production and another group not involved in 3D media production, each consisting of 24 students. Statistical analysis uses the Mann-Whitney test. The Mann-Whitney test results yielded a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference in literacy skills between the two groups. This shows that involvement in making 3D media has a strong positive influence on students' literacy skills. Overall, this research shows that student involvement in making 3D wall coverings has a significant impact on their literacy skills. By improving literacy skills, students will be better prepared to face academic and professional challenges in the future. Therefore, it is important to continue to encourage innovation in learning methods that can improve student skills holistically. ABSTRAKMasalah literasi di pendidikan tinggi  berdampak pada kemampuan mahasiswa untuk berkontribusi dalam masyarakat setelah mereka lulus. Mahasiswa yang tidak memiliki keterampilan literasi yang baik akan kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan berbagai pihak, yang merupakan keterampilan penting dalam dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menciptakan program-program yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembuatan mading tiga dimensi terhadap keterampilan literasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen.  Dalam penelitian ini, dua kelompok sampel yaitu kelompok mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pembuatan mading 3D dan kelompok yang tidak terlibat dalam pembuatan mading 3D, masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 24 mahasiswa dipilih secara purposive. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji Mann Whitney  diperoleh nilai p-value 0.000, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan dalam keterampilan literasi antara kedua kelompok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan dalam pembuatan mading 3D memberikan pengaruh positif yang kuat terhadap keterampilan literasi mahasiswa. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembuatan mading 3D memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan literasi mereka. Dengan meningkatkan keterampilan literasi, mahasiswa akan lebih siap menghadapi tantangan akademis dan profesional di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk terus mendorong inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa secara holistik.

Abstract

A total of 222 (7.2%) toddlers experienced malnutrition, based on BB/U. Meanwhile, the results of BB/TB weighing obtained 147 (4.8%) malnutrition, and 36 (1.2%) severe malnutrition. Assistance for pregnant women, wasted and stunted children as an effort to support the Gebrak program or movement to reduce the death rate and accelerate the reduction of stunting in Mojo District, Kediri Regency. Of the 50 targets, 20 were pregnant women, 2 were anemic, 3 had CED and 15 were at high risk. Meanwhile, 30 children were 4 wasted and 26 were stunted. From the coaching that was held, results were obtained from 25 respondents who took part with an average pre score of 84.14 points. Meanwhile, the average post value: 85.75. So it can be concluded that there was an increase in the youth group of 1.65. from the group of pregnant women, which consisted of 25 respondents in the class of pregnant women who filled out the DASS questionnaire, the pre-test average was 17.85, for the post-test the average was 23.95, so it can be concluded that there was an increase of 6. 1. ABSTRAKSebanyak 222 (7.2%) balita yang mengalami gizi kurang, berdasarkan BB/U. Sedangkan hasil penimbangan BB/TB didapatkan 147 (4.8%) gizi kurang, dan gizi buruk sebanyak 36 (1.2%). Pendampingan ibu hamil, anak wasting dan stunting sebagai upaya mendukung program Gebrak atau gerakan menurunkan angka kematian dan percepatan penurunan stunting di Kecamatan Mojo Kabupaten Kediri. Dari sejumlah 50 sasaran, terdiri dari 20 orang ibu hamil dengan 2 orang anemia, 3 orang dengan KEK dan 15 orang dengan resiko tinggi. Sedangkan 30 anak dengan rincian 4 wasting dan 26 orang stunting. Dari pembinaan yang diselengggarakan didapatkan hasil 25 orang responden yang mengikuti rata-rata nilai pre sebanyak 84,14 poin. Sedangkan nilai post rata-rata: 85,75. sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada kenaikan pada kelompok remaja sebesar 1,65. dari kelompok ibu hamil, yang terdiri dari 25 orang responden di kelas ibu hamil yang mengisi kuesioner DASS mendapatkan rata-rata pre test adalah 17,85, untuk post test didapatkan rata-rata adalah 23,95, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada kenaikan sebesar 6,1.
