Abstract

The difficulties that students feel when starting to compile their final project are the biggest obstacles in completing their obligations, especially in finding references and managing references. The writing and management system is still manual by copying and typing one by one, this has an impact on the length of the process in completing the final task in this case the thesis. To solve these problems, workshops on the use of technological advances were held because nowadays technological advances can be used to make it easier to solve these problems. One of them is by using Mendeley for managing and citing student thesis references. The purpose of this activity is to assist students in managing and citing references more easily and making thesis work time efficient. This activity was held by the Student Representative Council of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Samawa University as a form of their concern for the problems experienced by final semester students. Lectures, practice, and question-and-answer methods are used to convey material during the activity. This activity received a positive response from students who have been experiencing difficulties in preparing their thesis.

Abstract

The learning process so far has only been based on textbooks. In addition, teachers still use minimal media in learning so it has an impact on the low analytical ability of students. This study aims to determine 1). The feasibility level of learning videos assisted by the Drawing Sparkol Videoscribe animation developed by researchers, 2) Student responses to learning videos. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) model. The model uses Robert Maribe Branch's version of ADDIE. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Product validation is carried out by media experts, material experts and has been tested in class XI IPA as many as 10 students. The results showed that the development of physics learning videos assisted by the Drawing Sparkol Videoscribe animation was very feasible to be used as a learning medium. Feasibility is shown based on the assessment of material experts getting an average percentage value of 96.36% including in the very feasible category, media expert assessment getting an average percentage value of 91.76% including in the very feasible category, and the assessment of student responses getting an average value the percentage of 87.06% is included in the very good category used in learning.

Abstract

The learning process so far has only been sourced from textbooks, resulting in a low understanding of physics concepts owned by students. In addition, the learning model that is less varied makes students not actively involved in learning. The active physics E-Module with an Information Search approach provides new treasures in the learning process that increases the activeness and independence of students in learning. The purpose of this study was designed to determine (1) the feasibility of the product in the form of physics E-Module teaching materials that are integrated with Information Search type active learning, (2) to find out the students' responses to the active physics E-Module teaching materials with an Information Search approach that was developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with a 4D model but is limited to 3 stages, namely the Define stage, Design (Design); and Development (Development) on a limited trial. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire on the feasibility of the material and media as well as a practitioner response questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results showed that the active physics E-Module with an Information Search approach was feasible to use in physics learning based on expert judgment with an acquisition percentage of 84.4% included in the "Very Eligible" criteria. (2) the percentage of students' responses to the development of an active physics E-Module with an Information Search approach is 85.9% which is included in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to this day, this causes the learning process in the Education Unit to be carried out online/in the network or better known as BDR (Learning from Home). This kind of learning process really demands independent learning from students. To make it easier for students to learn, the purpose of this training is to train students in using interactive multimedia as a tool to understand physics concepts. This activity was carried out at MTs Al-Muddatsiriyah Central Jakarta with full Online implementation via Zoom. The implementation method used consists of three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results obtained from this activity are positive responses in the form of enthusiastic students and teachers during the activity and students are easier to understand physics concepts by using interactive multimedia.

Abstract

Indonesian Student Entrepreneurial Activities (KBMI) is one of the government programs in order to encourage the emergence of young entrepreneurs in universities. This grant is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (kemdikbud) through the Directorate General of Belmawa. Every student has the opportunity to participate in KBMI. However, not all students know the information about this grant. So we feel the need to introduce as well as provide training to students to prepare KBMI grant proposals. With this activity, it is hoped that students will be more motivated to become entrepreneurs and be able to make proposals as well as possible. This activity was carried out in February 2021 in the hall of the STKIP Pracendikia NW Sumbawa, attended by students and prospective supervisors. The activities run smoothly and according to plan. Participants were very enthusiastic and followed the activity until the end. Activities like this are expected to become routine activities to increase student motivation in entrepreneurship and participate in student grants.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide computer training using Microsoft Office applications to MIS NW 2 Borok Grow teachers, Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency to facilitate the process of teaching and learning activities and to improve teacher professionalism. This activity is also a form of coaching for teachers who are less able to operate computers even though in this digital era teachers are required to be able to apply computer technology, especially Microsoft office applications. This computer training is carried out for one month and is carried out in three stages. starting from the preparation stage, namely preparing all needs during the training, such as registering participants, preparing locations, and so on, the implementation stage, namely the delivery of material while accompanying the participants during the training activities, and the third stage, namely the evaluation stage. The results obtained from this training activity are that the participants who take part in the training are able to apply and master Microsoft Office applications, both Microsoft office word, excel, and PowerPoint properly and correctly.

Abstract

Labuhan Bontong Village is one of the villages located in Tarano District, Sumbawa. This village has a lot of potentials that has not been developed, one of which is the potential of the island of Depi' which can be used as an ecotourism center. The purpose of this activity is to increase public awareness of the potential possessed by the village in order to increase village income and to increase public awareness of environmental conservation. This activity was carried out in Labuhan Bontong Village, Tarano District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The implementation method used consists of three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results obtained from this activity are in the form of a positive and enthusiastic response from the Village apparatus and residents and villagers through the village head of Labuhan Bontong hoping that this activity can increase community income in the future.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out in Banjar Sari Hamlet, West Aikmel Village, Aikmel District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara through counseling to farmers about making liquid organic fertilizer from golden snails. The objectives of this activity are 1. To provide understanding and skills for the farming community to maximize organic fertilizers rather than chemical fertilizers, 2. To provide skills to farmers to use golden snails into organic fertilizers which have been considered by farmers as pests, 3. Help increase farmers' income from the agricultural sector. The method used in this service is the method of socialization, discussion and training on how to make liquid organic fertilizer. The results obtained from this extension activity were that the farmers who participated in the extension were able to make liquid organic fertilizer from golden snails and how to apply it.

Abstract

The use of appropriate media is minimal in physics learning today, which impacts students' lack of motivation and indirectly affects their learning outcomes. A direct learning model with interactive multimedia is an alternative solution during the current pandemic. This study aims to improve students' understanding of physics concepts by applying a direct learning model with interactive multimedia. This is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design using a purposive sampling technique. Forty-five respondents were divided into two groups, experimental and control. N-Gain was used to determine the high increase in both groups. The test was used to collect data on students' conceptual understanding in the form of a description with a total of 5 questions. In addition to the N-Gain, a t-test was also conducted to test the mean difference of the data. The findings revealed that the understanding of the concepts of the two groups had increased, where the experimental group was 40.3, and the control group was 35.8 but did not differ significantly. It can be concluded that the understanding of the fluid concept of the experimental class students is not better than the control class students.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dewasa ini sangat berdampak pada berbagai bidang, tidak terkecuali pada bidang Pendidikan khususnya terkait pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Kemajuan teknologi ini juga menuntut guru-guru di sekolah formal maupun non-formal untuk memiliki kemampuan dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk diadopsi dalam pembelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dibidang tersebut, maka kegiatan workshop pemanfaatan media bantu pembelajaran perlu diadakan di pasraman widya dharma sumbawa. Salah satu media bantu yang dapat dimanfaatkan yaitu penggunaan Quizizz untuk membuat ice-breaking dan soal evaluasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk membantu guru-guru dalam melakukan meningkatkan kompetensi yang dapat berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran dan pengalaman yang diperoleh oleh siswa. Kegiatan ini diadakan oleh Pasraman Widya Dharma Sumbawa bekerjasama dengan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Samawa. Teknik ceramah, praktik, dan tanya jawab yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Terdapat 3 tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan ini memiliki dampak positif yang dirasakan oleh guru-guru sebagai peserta workshop terlihat dari antusias dan luaran dari kegiatan yang sudah sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan.
