Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran project based learning pada mata kuliah praktik dapat memunculkan kreativitas mahasiswa S1 pendidikan tata rias Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Model pembelajaran PjBL mendorong peserta didik untuk menjadi lebih aktif, mandiri, dan kreatif dalam memecahkan sebuah permasalahan serta dapat membangun nilai karakter peserta didik terutama pada kreatifitas dan rasa ingin tahu. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis statistic berupa mean. Mata kuliah yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah Mata kuliah pengelolaan usaha tata rias dengan sample seluruh mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah ini sebanyak 60 orang. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah, bagaimanakah tingkat kratifitas mahasiswa program studi tata rias melalui pembelajaran project based learning pada mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan tata rias Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kreatifitas mahasiswa ditinjau dari kelima indikator kreatifitas berupa 1) berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan baru 96%, 2)memiliki ide-ide baru yang berbeda dalam menyelessaikan proyek 90%, 3)mencari proses teknologi, teknik atau ide produk baru 93%, 4)mengembangkan ide kreatif dan unik 90%, 5) memanfaatkan inovasi dalam situasi proyek nyata 89%, dari kelima indikator setelah dianalisis memiliki kriteria yang sangat kuat atau sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran mata kuliah pengelolaan usaha tata rias yang menggunakan straegi pembelajaran model project based learning berupa mengelola kursus kecantikan sangat baik dalam memunculkan kreatifitas mahasiswa

Abstract

There have been many studies focusing on graduate tracing. However, they were still determining how likely the graduates will work following their interests and the fields of knowledge they have studied. This study aimed at gaining improved awareness of cosmetology education graduates' employment readiness concerning social skills, performance, and work motivation. This explanatory research used the entire research population of the last two years, as many as 70 graduates. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire on each variable studied. While the analysis method used a structural equation model (Warp-PLS) to confirm the model's accuracy while testing the influence of variables on other variables and verifying that the instruments utilized were valid and dependable. The results proved that social skills, performance and work motivation directly and significantly affect graduate job readiness. Graduates' social skills and performance also affected job readiness in the field. The social skills of graduates were higher in influence than the performance and motivation of graduates in work readiness, with a difference of 0.391. These results implied a need to improve soft communication skills and spiritual provision in addition to the competencies that graduates already have.

Abstract

Learning media is vital in supporting students' practical and exciting learning process, especially in learning that requires understanding specific concepts and competencies. The development of this animated video-based learning media is based on the need for innovative learning media development and following technological developments, especially in the context of stage makeup learning. This research also aims to determine 1) the development of animated video-based learning media, 2) the feasibility of animated video-based learning media, and 3) students' responses to using animated video-based learning media. This research uses a quantitative approach using the R&D (Research & Development) method and Four-D (4-D) research design. The 4-D stages adopted in this study include Define, Design, and Development. The data obtained validate the feasibility of animated video-based learning media and student responses. The research subjects were 26 Skin and Hair Beauty students at SMKN 3 Probolinggo. The data collection method used was a validation test and questionnaire. The analysis method uses averages to determine the feasibility of learning media and learner responses. Based on the results of data analysis of the feasibility of animated video-based learning media, very valid criteria were obtained, namely with an average of 89.78% for media experts and 88.89% for material experts. Abstract

Geriatric make up is an advanced face makeup for elderly women, Decreasing eyes usually owned by the elderly women who want to incurs correction on the part of eyelid usually for declining eye correction many use a scotch tape for lifting eyelids, but the function of scotch tape has many shortages, for example, the strong recklessness and to sharp for the eyelid when applied to the eyelid, so it requires more durable cosmetics to hold the eyelids so that the eyelid does not fall one of the solutions made to address those problems by using adhesive cosmetics that is eyelash glue because it has a strong, durable recklessness.  The use of eyelash glue itself is widely used instead of scotch tape because its use is more efficient and cheap it has strong adhesiveness.  The purpose of doing this research is to describe the result of eyelash glue for correcting eye decrease. The method of data collection used in literature research. This research concluded that the function of the eyelash glue could replace the scotch tape for eye correction on geriatric makeup because it has good inward and absorbent power for the eyelid. Keywords: Geriatric makeup, eyelash glue

Abstract

Skin is the outermost layer covering the body. Skin needs the care to keep it clean and healthy. Skincare can be done in various ways, including using natural masks. Natural masks are masks made from natural ingredients and processed by yourself. One of the facial treatments using natural face masks is to use wealth starfruit and olive oil. So far, wuluh starfruit is known as an ingredient for cooking. But it turns out that wuluh starfruit contains compounds that are good for facial skincare, such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, triterpenoids, glucose, peroxides, and formic acid which are useful for reducing acne. In addition, wuluh starfruit also contains high calcium, protein, iron, and phosphorus as well as vitamins A, B1 and C. Then olive oil in addition to cooking, is also very useful for facial skincare because of its high content of antioxidants and vitamin E. This study aims to measure the use of a mask of wuluh starfruit and olive oil. The method used in this research is the literature review method by collecting data using the technique of searching for topics among several kinds of literature and taking them. The results of this study were to utilize a mask of wuluh starfruit and olive oil.Keywords: facial mask, wuluh starfruit, and olive oil.

Abstract

Nail art is the art of decorating nails so that one's appearance can look more presentable and beautiful by adjusting the condition of the client's nails. Nail art uses nail gel as a nail dye. This study aims to determine the comparison of the results of using nail gel applied to real nails and false nails with a leopard pattern. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of applying nail gel to natural nails and artificial nails and to compare the results between the two nails. Data collection was obtained through an online questionnaire distributed through social media facilities, namely Google forms to students of SMK Negeri 4 Banjarmasin, Skin & Hair Beauty Department. The data analysis technique uses the results of the percentage in terms of neatness, the result of greasing, in terms of beauty, suitability of motifs, and the results of the respondent's overall preference and the average result is calculated from the results of calculating these percentages. The results showed that (1) in terms of neatness of nail gel on natural nails scored 90.3% while false nails were 9.7% (2) In terms of applying nail gel on natural nails a score of 80.6% while fake nails 19.4 % (3) In terms of the suitability of nail gel motifs on natural nails, the score is 92.5% while fake nails are 7.5% (4) In terms of the beauty of nail gel on natural nails, the score is 91.4% while false nails are 8.6% ( 5) Overall preference for nail gel on real nails scored 92.5% while fake nails were 7.5%. From the score obtained when calculated using the average formula for nail gel on natural nails, it scores 89.46% and fake nails gets a score of 10.54%. Keywords: Nail art; nail gel; nails; fake nail

Abstract

This study aims to measure the interest of a group of young people in the use of fabric masks in the Covid-19 era in terms of the value of needs, designs, colors, types of materials, and accessories. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects were all new students of 2020, the Department of Home Economics Education with a sample of 228. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale model of four alternative answers. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis of the frequency distribution and exploratory factor analysis. The instrument validity was proven by Product Moment Correlation, while its reliability was tested by Cronbachs Alpha. The results showed that the mask design was more explained by colors, materials, and fashionable factors, while mask values were due to consideration of needs and protection factors

Abstract

Salah satu kosmetik yang termasuk ke dalam kosmetik dekoratif adalah undermakeup.Undermakeup adalah alas dasar wajah sebelum dibubuhi foundation.Pada umumnya undermakeup berbentuk cair dan krim (creamy).Tetapi ada juga undermakeup yang berbentuk padat, gel, dan mousse. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui hasil tata rias wajah jenis kulit berminyak untuk pesta dengan menggunakan undermakeupmousse (2) Untuk mengetahui tata rias wajah jenis kulit berminyak untuk pesta dengan menggunakan undermakeup krim (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh jenis undermakeup terhadap hasil tata rias wajah jenis kulit berminyak untuk pesta antara menggunakan undermakeup mousse dan krim Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah penelitian eksperimen.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi.Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 observer. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample Test pada program SPSS 16. Hasil tata rias wajah pesta untuk kulit wajah berminyak dengan menggunakan undermakeup mousse, kehalusan 4,48, kerataan 4,36, ketahanan 4,36, kesukaan observer 4,56. Hasil tata rias wajah pesta dengan menggunakan undermakeup krim, kehalusan 3,48, kerataan 3,72, ketahanan 3,64, kesukaan observer 3,64.Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh jenis under makeup terhadap hasil tata rias wajah jenis kulit berminyak untuk pesta. Hal ini dilihat dari signifikansi menggunakan taraf nyata sebesar 0,05 (5%). Karena semuanya datanya signifikan, maka hipotesisnya diterima. Kata kunci: Undermakeup, tata rias, kulit berminyak Abstract One of cosmetics which belong to the decorative cosmetics was under makeup. Under the pedestal base face makeup is time-stamped before foundation. In General under makeup shaped liquid and creamy (creamy). But there are also undermakeup in the form of solid, gel and mousse. The purpose of this research is (1) to find out the results of makeup for oily skin types to use under makeup mousse (2) to determine the types of facial makeup for oily skin by using party under makeup cream (3) to find out if there is a type of undermakeup influence on the results of makeup skin type is oily to the party between undermakeup using mousse and cream. This type of research is research conducted experiments. The technique of collecting data using the method of observation. This research involves 25 observer. Data analysis using Independent Sample Test on SPSS 16 program. Party makeup results for oily facial skin by using undermakeup mousse, smoothness 4,48, flatness 4,36, resilience 4,36, the observer's favorite 4,56. Party makeup results by using undermakeup cream, smoothness 3,48, flatness 3,72, resilience 3,64, the observer's favorite 3,64. The testing of hypothesis seen from significance using the real level of 0.05 (5%). There are differences in the type of influence under makeup for oily skin makeup types for a party. It is seen from the extent of use of the real significance of 0.05 (5%). Because all the data is significant, then the hypothesis accepted. Keywords : Under makeup, make up, oily skin

Abstract

Abstrak Rias karakter adalah seni merias menggunakan bahan-bahan kosmetika untuk mewujudkan peran atau karakter. Rias karakter efek luka robek tiga dimensi adalah rias karakter yang menggunakan campuran tepung terigu dan petroleum jelly sebagai alternatif bahan wax, yang di buat dengan cara di tempelkan dan diratakan pada kulit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh proporsi tepung terigu dan petroleum jelly sebagai alternatif bahan wax terhadap hasil jadi rias karakter efek luka robek tiga dimensi dan mengetahui hasil yang terbaik.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Variable bebas penelitian ini adalah proporsi tepung terigu dan petroleum jelly yaitu 18,5g:11,5g, 16g:14g, 16,5g:13,5g. variable terikatnya yaitu hasil jadi rias karakter efek luka robek tiga dimensi meliputi tekstur, warna, daya lekat, daya tahan, dan kemiripan dengan luka asli. Pengamatan dilakukan oleh 5 dosen tata rias dan 25 mahasiswa tata rias mengunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 21 dengan teknik anava tunggal dan uji Duncan .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh proporsi tepung terigu dan petroleum jelly terhadap hasil jadi rias karakter efek luka robek tiga dimensi. Semakin banyak proporsi tepung terigu dibandingkan petroleum jelly akan menghasilkan bahan yang lebih baik. X1 memiliki nilai tertinggi pada setiap aspek yaitu tekstur 3,6, warna 3,6, daya lekat 3,7, daya tahan 3,5, kemiripan dengan luka asli 3,7. Kata kunci: Tepung terigu, petroleum jelly, alternatif bahan wax Abstract Character makeup is the art of makeup using cosmetic ingredients to realize the role or character. The makeup character of the three-dimensional torn wound effect is character makeup that uses a mixture of wheat flour and petroleum jelly as an alternative to wax material, which is made by attaching and flattening to skin. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the proportion of wheat flour and petroleum jelly as an alternative wax material on the results of character makeup effect of three-dimensional torn wound and to find out the best results.The type of this research is experimental research. The independent variable of this study is the proportion of wheat flour and petroleum jelly which is 18.5g: 11.5g, 16g: 14g, 16.5g: 13.5g. The dependent variable is the result of the character make-up with three-dimensional torn wound effects including texture, color, adhesion, endurance, resemblance to the original wound. Observations were made by 5 makeup lecturers and 25 makeup students using data collection methods in the form of observations and then analyzed using SPSS 21 with a single anava technique and Duncan test. The results show that there is an effect of the proportion of wheat flour and petroleum jelly on the results of the three-dimensional torn wounds character makeup. The more proportions of flour compared to petroleum jelly will produce better ingredients. X1 has the highest value in each aspect, namely texture 3.6, color 3.6, adhesion 3.7, durability 3.5, resemblance to the original wound 3.7. ABSTRAK PERBANDINGAN PENGGUNAAN FACE PRIMER BERBENTUK CAIR DAN GEL SEBAGAI BASE MAKEUP UNTUK DAYA TAHAN MAKEUP PREWEDDING PADA KULIT WAJAH BERMINYAK Nama : Dewi Andriana NIM : 14050634030 Program Studi : S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias Jurusan : Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas : Fakultas Teknik Nama Lembaga : Universitas Negeri Surabaya Pembimbing : Dra. Arita Puspitorini, M.Pd Kosmetika sudah dikenal dan digunakan oleh manusia sejak berabad-abad lalu. Kosmetik menurut kegunaan bagi kulit dibagi menjadi dua macam yaitu kosmetik perawatan kulit dan kosmetik riasan. Salah satu kosmetik yang termasuk kosmetik dekoratif yaitu face primer. Face primer merupakan kosmetik yang digunakan sebagai base makeup yang digunakan sebelum pengaplikasian foundation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui hasil ketahanan makeup jika menggunakan face primer berbentuk cair sebagai base makeup untuk daya tahan makeup prewedding pada kulit wajah berminyak (2) mengetahui hasil ketahanan makeup jika menggunakan face primer berbentuk gel sebagai base makeup untuk daya tahan makeup prewedding pada kulit wajah berminyak. (3) menggetahui hasil makeup terbaik jika menggunakan menggunakan face primer berbentuk cair dan gel sebagai base makeup untuk daya tahan makeup prewedding pada kulit berminyak (4) mengetahui respon panelis terhadap penggunaan face primer berbentuk cair dan gel sebagai base makeup untuk daya tahan makeup prewedding pada kulit berminyak. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan face primer berbentuk cair dan gel sebagai base makeup untuk daya tahan makeup prewedding pada kulit wajah berminyak. Metode pengumpalan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan angket yang dilakukan oleh 30 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil terbaik dalam penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan face primer berbentuk cair. Hasil rata-rata penggunaan face primer berbentuk cair dari 3 aspek yaitu aspek daya lekat makeup memperoleh nilai 4,4, aspek kehalusan makeup memperoleh nilai 4,5, dan aspek kerataan makeup memperoleh nilai 4,6. Face primer is a cosmetic used as a base makeup used before applying the foundation. This study aims to (1) find out the results of makeup resistance by using a liquid face primer as the makeup base for pre-wedding makeup durability on oily skin; (2) find out the results of makeup resistance by using a gel-shaped face primer as a makeup base for pre-wedding makeup durability on oily skin. (3) know the best makeup results by using a liquid face primer and gel as the makeup base for pre-wedding makeup on oily skin (4) know the panelists response to the use of a liquid face primer and gel as a makeup base for pre-wedding makeup durability oily skin. This type of research is experimental research. The subject in this study is the use of a liquid face primer and gel as a makeup base for the durability of pre-wedding makeup on oily skin. The data collection method used are by observation and questionnaire conducted to 30 peoples. The data analysis technique used is the Independent Sample T-Test. The best result in this study is the use of a liquid face primer. The average results of the use of the primary face are 3 aspects of liquid, namely the makeup attachment aspect obtained a score of 4.4, the makeup fineness aspect by a value of 4.5, and the makeup flatness aspect by a score of 4.6.
