Abstract

Automatic incubator is an incubator device designed to hatch eggs artificially with automatically controlled temperature, humidity, and egg turning settings, in the hope of increasing the success rate of hatching, saving time and energy, and enabling hatching on a larger scale. The purpose of this community service is to apply appropriate technology for automatic egg hatching to improve the knowledge, skills, accessibility, and income of farmers in Rajamandala Village. This program is a Kosabangsa scheme through a collaboration between Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya and Universitas Siliwangi. This activity starts in September 2024 to December 2024 in Rajamandala Village, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Kosabangsa activities consist of various activities, namely socialization / counseling regarding automatic incubators, training on their application which can be controlled using Android, and assistance in the application of automatic incubator technology to partners until their marketing activities. The target partner for this activity is Kelompok Ternak Bebek Mukti with a total of 20 group members as participants in the activity. The results of this community service activity show that the application of automatic incubator technology in Kelompok Ternak Bebek Mukti is able to increase the percentage of hatching power and reduce the hatching time compared to the application of manual incubator technology that is commonly used. The output of this activity is able to increase the knowledge, skills, accessibility, and income of Kelompok Ternak Bebek Mukti partners in the egg hatching process

Abstract

The selection of the best coffee supplier is a critical factor in ensuring the operational success and quality of products offered by Kedai Kopi Saka. A systematic and objective evaluation process is needed to identify the most suitable supplier that meets various criteria such as product quality, price, delivery punctuality, production capacity, and service quality. This study aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist Kedai Kopi Saka in selecting the best coffee supplier. The SAW method is employed due to its ability to handle multiple criteria and weight assignments, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of suppliers. The system evaluates suppliers based on predefined criteria, assigns weights to each criterion, normalizes the values, and calculates the final scores to rank the suppliers. The results of this system provide clear and reliable recommendations for decision-makers. The implementation of this decision support system ensures a more transparent, efficient, and accurate supplier selection process. Furthermore, this system contributes to improving the decision-making process at Kedai Kopi Saka and supports its goal of maintaining high-quality coffee offerings for its customers.

Abstract

Ngulisik adalah bus wisata di kabupaten tasikmalaya. Bus wisata ngulisik sendiri sudah mengatur tiketnya secara manual. Semakin pesatnya kemajuan teknologi informasi dan inovasi yang diadopsi dalam smartphone semakin memudahkan segala aktivitas manusia, seperti aplikasi e-ticket yang memudahkan masyarakat untuk memesan tiket hati. Perancangan aplikasi dimulai dengan desain desain antarmuka yang merupakan langkah awal implementasi ide, alur, dan cara kerja aplikasi yang dirancang pada akhirnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah design thinking. Metode design thinking terdiri dari emphatize, define, ideate, prototype dan test.Hasil uji desainer dengan 10 peserta menggunakan pertanyaan kemudahan tunggal untuk menguji kemudahan pengguna dengan hasil rank persentil tugas sebesar 89%, dan seq raw score sebesar 6.

Abstract

Feed supplement is useful as a growth promoter, increasing efficiency and feed consumption, helping digestion and metabolism, and improving the quality of livestock products. The aim of this community service is to apply appropriate technology to utilize mangosteen peel and turmeric as feed supplement for poultry in Sukanagalih Village, Tasikmalaya Regency, as well as produce quality feed supplement and improve the skills of farmers in processing the supplement feed. This community service activity is one of the Kosabangsa programs between the Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya as the implementation team and the IPB University as the accompanying team. This activity started from September to December 2023 in Sukanagalih Village, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The method for implementing this activity consists of counseling, training, and assistance to livestock groups. The target partners for this activity were Kelompok Megar Bebek Cihateup and the Berdikari Village-Owned Enterprise (Bumdes Berdikari) with a total of 20 participants each, so the total participants are 40 people. The level of community empowerment increased to 80 – 85% in the knowledge, skills, accessibility, and income categories. The results of this activity are very beneficial for the community, where the application of appropriate technology for processing mangosteen peel and turmeric as feed supplements can increase the added value and selling value of agro-industrial waste products in Tasikmalaya Regency. The application of appropriate technology for the use of supplement feed is able to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in Sukanagalih Village, Tasikmalaya Regency in processing feed supplements.

Abstract

The Web-Based Teacher Attendance Information System Using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Cards at SMPN 2 Sukahening Tasikmalaya aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of teacher attendance recording. Currently, the attendance system at SMPN 2 Sukahening is still conducted manually, which is prone to errors, inefficient, and difficult to monitor in real-time. This research proposes the development of a web-based attendance system integrated with RFID technology to address these issues. The system is designed using PHP programming language, MySQL database, and hardware components such as RFID cards and RFID Reader. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the system is capable of automatically recording teacher attendance, providing accurate attendance data, and enabling real-time monitoring through a web-based platform. This system is expected to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in managing teacher attendance at SMPN 2 Sukahening.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out through the Entrepreneurial University Accelerator Initiative programme designed to develop the entrepreneurial skills of Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya Management students. The programme was conducted in the form of a bootcamp that focused on making products from melon-based ingredients, aiming to improve students' competence in product innovation and entrepreneurship based on local ingredients. A total of 5 students were actively involved in this bootcamp, which lasted for 5 days with a series of training that included understanding the product value chain, production techniques, marketing, and market analysis. Through evaluation, 85% of students were able to produce market-ready product prototypes, such as melon juice, jam, and melon-based healthy snacks. In addition, 92% of participants showed significant improvement in their understanding of marketing and product development strategies. The results of this programme showed success in encouraging students' creativity and entrepreneurial skills based on local potential. Overall, the programme had a positive impact in equipping students with relevant skills to face labour market challenges and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the academic environment.

Abstract

Tasikmalaya, known for its natural beauty and cultural richness, has great potential as an attractive tourist destination. One of the main challenges faced is how to convey accurate and integrated information to tourists quickly and easily so that it can be used to improve marketing strategies and destination development. This study aims to develop a virtual assistant (chatbot) based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for the integrated Tasikmalaya tourism information portal in handling high volumes of questions simultaneously, reducing the workload of human staff and optimizing the service process. The research method uses a waterfall model by applying the NLP approach. The final result of this study is to produce a virtual assistant (chatbot) application that allows users to get information related to Tasikmalaya tourism destinations in a more flexible way. The application was tested using the black box method and showed that the application ran as expected while the SUS test carried out obtained a final score of 72.30 in the Good category.

Abstract

Pengukuran tinggi badan secara akurat merupakan kebutuhan penting di berbagai bidang, seperti dalam lingkungan Kesehatan dan Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah alat pengukuran tinggi badan berbasis Arduino yang menggunakan sensor ultrasonik sebagai komponen utama, dengan output informasi yang ditampilkan pada layar LCD dan speaker memberikan notifikasi suara sebagai feedback pengguna. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak dari sensor ke objek (kepala manusia) secara akurat. Data pengukuran yang diperoleh kemudian diproses oleh mikrokontroler Arduino, dan hasilnya ditampilkan secara real-time pada LCD untuk memberikan informasi visual yang jelas kepada pengguna. Selain itu, alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan speaker yang memberikan umpan balik suara untuk mengonfirmasi hasil pengukuran dan memberikan informasi tambahan jika diperlukan. Peneliti menggunakan Metode Eksperimen dimana peneliti melakukan percobaan sebagai proses untuk membuktikan apakah teori yang dipelajarinya benar. Metode ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemudahan dan akurasi dalam pengukuran tinggi badan dibandingkan dengan metode tradisional yang lebih manual. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa alat ini dapat memberikan hasil pengukuran yang konsisten dan akurat, serta memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih interaktif melalui kombinasi output lcd dan audio. Pada alat yang telah dibuat ini berhasil menunjukan titik keakuratan pada pengukuran tinggi badan manusia, sehingga sudah dilakukan pengujian kepada 10 orang dengan membandingkan alat ukur tinggi badan berbasis arduino dengan alat ukur manual dan menghasilkan nilai angka yang sesuai. Dengan fitur-fitur tersebut, alat ini diharapkan dapat berguna di berbagai tempat, baik di rumah maupun di fasilitas kesehatan.

Abstract

Dedak padi memiliki keterbatasan apabila langsung digunakan sebagai pakan ternak sehingga perlu diolah terlebih dahulu. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kandungan protein dan menurunkan serat kasar pada dedak padi sehingga dapat dijadikan pakan alternatif untuk menurunkan biaya pakan dan meningkatkan pendapatan peternak. Kegiatan pemberdayaan desa binaan (PDB) dilaksanakan di Desa Sukanagalih, Kecamatan Rajapolah, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Program PDB dilaksanakan secara periodik mulai bulan Juni 2025 sampai dengan Desember 2025. Mitra sasaran kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Megar Bebek Cihateup. Kegiatan PDB dilaksanakan menggunakan berbagai metode yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan penerapan teknologi amofer. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan metode pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, aksesibilitas, dan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan penerapan teknologi tepat guna dedak padi amofer mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, aksesibilitas, dan pendapatan mitra sampai dengan 40-60% dibandingkan sebelum kegiatan. Adapun produk dedak padi amofer ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pakan alternatif karena mampu menurunkan biaya pakan sampai dengan 50%. Program ini dapat dilaksanakan secara berkala dan dilakukan komersialisasi produk pakan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternak. Dengan demikian luaran dari kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi mewujudkan ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi lokal di Desa Sukanagalih.

Abstract

The expansion of the Pangandaran area in Ciamis Regency in 2012 caused Ciamis Regency to lose its leading tourist destination. Efforts are needed to promote tourism in the Ciamis Regency at this time. This study aims to design a multimedia application as a promotional media for tourist attractions in Ciamis Regency. The study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method with testing using the BlackBox method and System Usability Scale. The study was conducted at the Situ Lengkong Panjalu Tourist Attraction in Panjalu District, Ciamis Regency. The study results are a web-based virtual tour application design that will function as a medium for introducing tourist attractions in Ciamis Regency. The results of the SUS method test from ten people who conducted the test, the results obtained were 72.5 or in the SUS test scale included in the Good category. This study's results can be one option for promoting tourist attractions in Ciamis Regency.Adanya pemekaran wilayah pangandaran di Kabupaten Ciamis pada tahun 2012, membuat Kabupaten Ciamis kehilangan tujuan wisata utamanya. Perlu adanya upaya untuk mempromosikan wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Ciamis saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu aplikasi multimedia sebagai media promosi tempat wisata di Kabupaten Ciamis, Penelitian menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) dengan pengujiannya menggunakan metode Black-Box dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Penelitian dilakukan di Tempat Wisata Situ Lengkong Panjalu yang berada di Kecamatan Panjalu, Kabupaten Ciamis. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan aplikasi virtual tour berbasis web yang akan berfungsi sebagai media pengenalan tempat wisata yang terdapat di Kabupaten Ciamis. Hasil Pengujian metode SUS, dari sepuluh orang yang melakukan pengetesan, hasil yang didapat adalah sebesar 72.5 atau dalam skala pengujian SUS termasuk dalam kategori Baik (Good). Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan sebagai cara untuk mempromosikan tempat-tempat wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Ciamis.
