Abstract

Air pollution is a substance that can endanger human life and health. Air pollution can arise from natural sources and human activities, one of which is factory waste such as smoke produced from palm oil factories. Air pollution that occurs is triggered by certain gas, liquid and solid forms that are pent up in the air. Particles come from aerosols, dust, factory smoke, forest fires, motor vehicle exhaust and cigarette smoke. Some of the pollutants that are usually spread are heavy metals, carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), ozone (O3), volatile organic compounds (VOC), and sulfur dioxide (SO2). Indonesia itself is included in the ranks of countries with high levels of pollution. Oil palm waste is the residue from the oil palm plant which is not included in the main product or is a by-product of oil palm processing. The digestion of the palm oil mill originates from the steam interaction unit (sanitization), the digestion cycle and the release of the hydrocyclone. From the results of this study, it can then be studied and concluded how the company's performance in carrying out environmental management and monitoring around the business area. Abstract

This research aims to analyze and identify various previous research results related to the impact of digital learning licenses on access to education in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research using a literature review approach. The data used in this research are scientific articles and journals that are relevant to the research topic. The data sources selected include research published within the last 5 years, which discusses issues related to digital learning licensing, educational access, and technology implementation at the basic education level. The data collection technique used is through academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, ProQuest, and so on. By using keywords such as "digital learning license", "digital education access", "educational technology in primary schools". The data was analyzed qualitatively with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it is known that digital learning licenses, both open and paid, have a significant impact on access to education in elementary schools. Open licenses provide broader access and more affordable costs, while paid licenses, although offering more advanced features, often limit access especially in schools with limited budgets. Infrastructure challenges and economic disparities remain major inhibiting factors in harnessing the potential of digital learning technology. Therefore, efforts to increase access to digital education must include investments in infrastructure as well as policies that support the use of open licenses and technology based learning throughout elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a GeoGebra-based learning model integrated with Langkat Malay local culture to enhance students' spatial literacy in geometry learning. Spatial literacy refers to students’ ability to visualize, reason geometrically, and communicate spatial ideas, which are essential for understanding mathematical concepts more deeply. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, which involved several stages including needs analysis, model design, implementation, and evaluation. The study was conducted with high school students in Langkat, North Sumatra, as research subjects. The results revealed that the integration of GeoGebra technology and local cultural elements effectively improved students’ spatial literacy. GeoGebra allowed students to explore spatial concepts visually and interactively, while the inclusion of Langkat Malay culture provided meaningful context that increased student engagement and motivation. In addition, the development of supporting materials, such as e-LKPD and GeoGebra-based practice questions, helped create a more structured and comprehensive learning environment. The study recommends teacher training on the model, further development of culturally integrated learning tools, and broader implementation in various school contexts. Future research is suggested to assess the long-term effects and explore deeper cultural integration, including local art and architecture, to strengthen students’ connection between mathematics and their cultural identity.
