Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk workshop edukasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian murid SDN 5 Kabila terhadap lingkungan melalui kegiatan Eco Art berbasis daur ulang sampah. Permasalahan sampah yang terus meningkat memerlukan upaya edukatif yang mampu menanamkan perilaku peduli lingkungan sejak usia dini. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan pendampingan praktik pembuatan karya dari bahan bekas. Peserta kegiatan merupakan siswa sekolah dasar yang terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pengolahan sampah anorganik menjadi produk kreatif dan bernilai guna. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi mengenai pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, pengenalan jenis sampah, demonstrasi pembuatan karya Eco Art, serta praktik langsung secara berkelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa murid memiliki antusiasme tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung dan mampu menghasilkan berbagai karya kreatif dari bahan daur ulang. Selain meningkatkan kreativitas, kegiatan ini juga membantu menumbuhkan sikap tanggung jawab, kerja sama, dan kesadaran murid terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Eco Art dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran lingkungan hidup yang inovatif, menyenangkan, dan aplikatif untuk diterapkan pada jenjang sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Neurosains menjadi pendekatan penting dalam pendidikan modern karena mampu menjelaskan hubungan antara fungsi otak dan proses pembelajaran. Pemahaman ini membantu pendidik menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pentingnya edukasi neurosains dalam mendukung pembelajaran efektif melalui studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan meliputi workshop edukatif berbasis learning by doing serta kajian literatur terhadap artikel ilmiah relevan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip neurosains di sekolah dasar mampu meningkatkan perhatian, motivasi, retensi memori, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta pengendalian emosi peserta didik. Selain itu, strategi pembelajaran berbasis neurosains seperti pendekatan multisensori, pembelajaran aktif, penguatan emosi positif, dan pengulangan berkala terbukti mengoptimalkan fungsi otak dalam menerima informasi. Oleh karena itu, edukasi neurosains penting diterapkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of science and the lack of student involvement in learning at SDN 01 Lemito are the background of this research. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes of Energy in Daily Life material through the implementation of the flipbook-based Mordiscvein model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles with 24 fourth-grade students as subjects, including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research findings show a significant increase in learning outcomes gradually. In Cycle I, the learning completion rate only reached 45.83% or 11 students, which indicates the need for improvements in the implementation of media syntax and techniques. After reflection and action improvements in Cycle II, learning completion increased drastically to 83.33% or 20 students, exceeding the established success indicators. In addition to the cognitive aspect, there was a positive increase in teacher activity as well as active participation and student independence during the learning process. The main conclusion of this study is that the flipbook-assisted Mordiscvein learning model is proven to be effective and feasible to be implemented to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in science. ABSTRAK Rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS dan kurangnya pelibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran di SDN 01 Lemito melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuan studi ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar materi Energi dalam Kehidupan Sehari-hari melalui penerapan model Mordiscvein berbasis media flipbook. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 24 siswa kelas IV, meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan secara bertahap. Pada Siklus I, tingkat ketuntasan belajar baru mencapai 45,83% atau 11 siswa, yang mengindikasikan perlunya perbaikan pada implementasi sintaks dan teknis media. Setelah dilakukan refleksi dan perbaikan tindakan pada Siklus II, ketuntasan belajar meningkat drastis menjadi 83,33% atau 20 siswa, melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Selain aspek kognitif, terjadi peningkatan positif pada aktivitas guru serta partisipasi aktif dan kemandirian siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Simpulan utama penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Mordiscvein berbantuan flipbook terbukti efektif dan layak diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of understanding of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Batudaa regarding science subjects, especially plant parts. Because teachers still use conventional methods and are lacking in using varied learning models and interactive learning media, the solution offered is the use of learning models, especially the mordiscvein learning model and the use of ahaslides media. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of the use of the mordiscvein learning model assisted by ahaslides media on student learning outcomes in class IV plant parts material at SDN 1 Batudaa. The research results obtained showed that the average pretest value was 52.00 and the average posttest value was 87.50. Testing this research hypothesis uses SPSS version 25.0 where the test shows the value of Tcount = 11.088 > Ttable = 1.725. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the mordiscvein learning model assisted by ahaslides media on student learning outcomes in class IV plant parts material at SDN 1 Batudaa. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Batudaa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA khusunya materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan. Dikarenakan guru masih menggunakan método konvensional dan kurang dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan media pembelajaran yang interaktif maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran khususnya model pembelajaran mordiscvein dan penggunaan media ahaslides. Tujuan dari penelitia ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran mordiscvein berbantuan media ahaslides terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan kelas IV SDN 1 Batudaa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh didapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 52,00 dan  nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 87,50. Pengujian hipotesis  penelitian ini menggunakan spss versi 25.0 dimana dalam pengujian menunjukkan nilai Thitung = 11,088 > Ttabel = 1.725. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran mordiscvein berbantuan media ahaslides terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan kelas IV SDN 1 Batudaa.

Abstract

The research problem addressed in this study is whether the Mordiscvein learning model has a significant effect on elementary school students’ learning motivation in the topic of changes in the states of matter. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Mordiscvein learning model on students’ learning motivation in elementary schools on the topic of changes in the states of matter. This study employed a quantitative research approach to examine the effect of the Mordiscvein learning model on elementary school students’ learning motivation. The research design used was a true experimental design, specifically a two-group pretest–posttest design. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students in the elementary school, totaling 25 students. Data were collected through observation. Based on the results of the SPSS version 23.0 analysis using the independent samples t-test for equality of means, the calculated t-value was 3.655, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.677, and the significance value was 0.001, which was lower than the significance level of α = 0.05. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. It can be concluded that the use of the Mordiscvein learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning motivation in science subjects for fourth-grade students at SDN 57 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo in Natural Sciences (IPA), specifically on Energy and Its Changes material. This issue was driven by the abstract nature of the topic and a teacher-centered learning environment that lacked varied learning media. This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by audio-visual media. The research design employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Hopkins model, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle encompassed four major phases: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this research were all 18 fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo, Gorontalo Regency, during the 2025/2026 academic year, consisting of 12 male and 6 female students. Data collection techniques included observation of teacher and student activities, multiple-choice written evaluation tests, and classroom documentation. The gathered data were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in student learning outcomes across the cycles. In the pre-action baseline condition, the classical mastery reached only 34% (6 students) meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM 70). Following the implementation of Cycle I, the student learning mastery percentage increased slightly to 39% (7 students), which still fell short of the targeted classical success indicator. Reflective improvements were made in Cycle II by enhancing the interactivity of audio-visual media and group engagement. The evaluation in Cycle II revealed a substantial surge in classical mastery, reaching 83% (15 students) who successfully met the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The mastery growth from Cycle I to Cycle II was recorded at 44%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by audio-visual media is highly effective in improving science learning outcomes on Energy and Its Changes for fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo, Gorontalo Regency.

Abstract

in this study is whether the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by audio-visual media can improve Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning outcomes on the solar system topic for fifth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo. This study aims to improve the IPAS learning outcomes on the solar system topic for fifth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by audio-visual media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. During the initial observation, the students' achieved abilities were still very low, with only 4 students (22%) attaining high IPAS learning outcomes or scoring above the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). In the implementation of Cycle I, an increase was observed, reaching 8 students (44.4%). However, this result had not yet met the established classical mastery criteria of 70%, necessitating the continuation of the research into the next cycle, Cycle II. In Cycle II, there was an increase in student learning mastery, reaching 16 students (88.9%). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by audio-visual media significantly improves IPAS learning outcomes on the solar system topic for fifth-grade students at SDN 7 Dungaliyo.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan di sekolah dasar melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan media digital Canva. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Torosiaje dan difasilitasi oleh mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan berupa workshop kepada para guru sekolah dasar mengenai pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif yang kontekstual dengan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para guru menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam merancang media pembelajaran digital. Pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar, yang didukung dengan teknologi seperti Canva, mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan, bermakna, dan relevan bagi siswa. Model pembelajaran ini juga dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar serta membentuk kesadaran dan tanggung jawab siswa terhadap pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan sangat relevan untuk diterapkan secara berkelanjutan guna mendukung pencapaian Kurikulum Merdeka dan penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ science learning outcomes on the topic of energy transformation through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva media in Grade IV at SDN 2 Kabila. The study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, which were caused by limited student participation during the learning process and the suboptimal use of instructional media. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 19 fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Kabila. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Canva media was effective in improving students’ science learning outcomes. In the first cycle, only 6 out of 19 students achieved the Minimum Learning Mastery Criteria (≥ 75), representing 31.57%, while 13 students or 68.42% had not yet achieved mastery. After improvements were made in the second cycle, students’ learning outcomes increased significantly, with 18 students or 94.73% achieving mastery, while only 1 student or 5.26% had not yet met the criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Canva media can significantly improve the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Kabila on the topic of energy transformation.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topic of force at SDN 5 Tilongkabila. Several problems were identified, including the limited variation in instructional models, which resulted in low student participation during the learning process, inadequate learning media, the failure of most students to meet the learning achievement criteria, and differences in students’ academic abilities that required a more systematic and interactive learning approach. The research problem addressed in this study was whether the implementation of the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model assisted by interactive Canva media could improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of force in Grade IV at SDN 5 Tilongkabila. This study aimed to describe the improvement in students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the POE learning model supported by interactive Canva media. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 13 students, comprising 5 male students and 8 female students. The preliminary observation revealed that only 5 students (38.46%) achieved mastery learning. In Cycle I, the number of students achieving mastery increased to 9 students (69.23%), although it had not yet reached the success indicator of 80%. In Cycle II, students’ learning outcomes further improved, with 11 students (84.62%) achieving mastery learning. Therefore, the implementation of the POE learning model assisted by interactive Canva media was proven to improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of force in Grade IV at SDN 5 Tilongkabila.
