Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and improve the efficiency of the motor vehicle insurance claim process at PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera (JRP) through the implementation of Lean Management using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of claim documentation from 2021 to 2024. The Current State Map revealed that the average claim completion time was 86 days, significantly exceeding the company’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 14 working days. By applying seven VSM tools such as Process Activity Mapping (PAM), Quality Filter Mapping (QFM), and Decision Point Analysis (DPA), the study found that 46% of total activities were non-value-added (NVA). Major inefficiencies were identified in redundant data entry, prolonged approval processes, and manual document handling. The redesigned Future State Map proposes digital process integration and automation to eliminate waste and reduce cycle time. A Fishbone analysis identified six key sources of inefficiency related to human factors, methods, machines, materials, environment, and measurement. The optimized process is projected to reduce claim processing time by approximately 40% and improve customer satisfaction. Overall, this research highlights the novelty of applying VSM for digital process optimization in Indonesia’s insurance industry, demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting digital transformation.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between corporate culture and employee readiness within the strategic framework of PT Citilink Indonesia’s vision to become a world-class low-cost carrier, with employee wellbeing included as a moderating variable. A quantitative research design was used, employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on survey data collected from 250 employees across multiple directorates. The analysis showed that corporate culture had a significant positive effect on employee readiness, with the structural model demonstrating substantial explanatory power. Employee readiness was identified as an essential driver of organizational adaptability, enabling the company to align more effectively with strategic transformation goals. Employee wellbeing strengthened the effect of corporate culture on readiness, indicating that employees with higher emotional, social, psychological, and financial wellbeing were more likely to internalize organizational norms and respond proactively to change. These findings contribute to the literature by providing empirical evidence of the moderating role of wellbeing in cultural–behavioral dynamics within Indonesia’s aviation industry. Practically, the study underscores the importance of integrating corporate culture initiatives with sustainable wellbeing programs to enhance resilience, engagement, and competitiveness in increasingly dynamic airline environments.

Abstract

This research has the primary aim of delving deeper into the relationship between work-life balance and turnover intention while considering job embeddedness as an intermediary factor. A total of 180 employees participated in this study, which used a quantitative research approach. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the application of the Partial Least Square (PLS) methodology. The research findings highlight that work-life balance significantly influences the likelihood of turnover intention among employees. However, it's important to note that while work-life balance does affect job embeddedness, this effect doesn't directly translate into affecting turnover intention when the mediation of job embeddedness is considered. This research holds substantial significance for organizations as it offers a deeper understanding of strategies to minimize turnover rates, ultimately contributing to the establishment of a robust and sustainable business framework in the long term. This emphasizes the critical role of effective human resource management in achieving these objectives. Keywords : Work Life Balance, Job Embeddedness, Organizational Commitment, Turnover Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of self-efficacy as a mediator in the effect of workload and job satisfaction on electronic performance (E-Performance). The data analysis method uses a mediation model with self-efficacy variables as intermediaries, measured through the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The sample of this study amounted to 100 people taken from employees of companies engaged in the Logistics Industry. The results showed that workload did not have a significant effect on E-Performance, while job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect. Self-efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between workload and full E-Performance, as well as partially mediate between job satisfaction and E-Performance. The implications of these findings contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence electronic performance in the work environment, by highlighting the role of self-efficacy as a relevant mediator. These conclusions can help organizations in designing more effective management strategies to improve performance in the technological era.

Abstract

The Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Organizing Agency, operating as a State-Owned Enterprise, is obligated to uphold the tenets of Good Corporate Governance per the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation Number 01 of 2011. This commitment extends to the implementation of policies outlined in Law Number 14 of 2008, specifically addressing the Openness of Public Information. A nuanced analysis, rooted in George Edward's implementation theory, delves into the complexities of how the Information and Documentation Management Officer at AirNav Indonesia navigates the communication dynamics, resource allocation, organizational disposition, and bureaucratic structure inherent in executing public information disclosure policies. Employing qualitative methods and triangulation techniques, this study unravels the intricate interplay of these components, illustrating that effective implementation transcends procedural adherence to embody a comprehensive orchestration of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness within the context of public information disclosure. The Information and Documentation Management Officer emerges as a pivotal figure, strategically aligning these elements to achieve a robust realization of the principles of good corporate governance.
