Abstract

The waste problem is still a complicated problem due to the lack of public understanding of the impacts caused by waste, the lack of government funds to ensure proper and qualified waste disposal. Another factor that causes the waste problem to become more complicated is the increasing standard of living of the people but not followed by an increase in knowledge about waste and the lack of the community's role in maintaining cleanliness and disposing of waste in its place. Community Service Activities (PKM) provide empirical ideas for real work to change the community's paradigm regarding waste that needs to be carried out in a sustainable manner. Educating residents about awareness and skills for waste management by applying the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle and replant (4R) is important in solving waste problems through waste management from its source. A waste bank based on community participation in the Belendung Village is social capital in community-based waste management. Departing from the real problems and conditions of the Belendung Village Garbage Bank regarding waste bank learning to strengthen the implementation of science and technology, real efforts need to be made in providing solutions, through UPN Veteran Jakarta Community Service (PKM) activities through the development of structured and comprehensive waste bank coaching in waste bank management and managerial quality improvement. PKM is held as an empowerment process that intersects with the ability to create. One of the components of this waste management system is the existence of a waste manager who has collected and separated waste (organic and inorganic). The presence of community empowerment in the waste bank movement was moved to experience a general transformation into a movement based on more specific issues, one of which was the Belendung Village Garbage Bank as a forum for PKM activities. The existence of a Waste Bank Management carried out by the KWT Fishing group of Belendung Village is still simple, only in the activity of weighing waste, so the PKM UPN Veterans Jakarta Team will provide training to make activities or activity programs that will be able to increase the entrepreneurial spirit for them. . The hope of this PKM activity is to foster social awareness for the community and be able to manage the Garbage Bank into an activity that can increase income for the group of women from KWT Fishing in the Belendung Village and foster an entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

Cinema is a place that is used as a means of entertainment for some individuals after facing the busy daily activities that are carried out. They think that watching movies in cinemas can relieve stress, is a place for relaxation, and can also be enjoyed by all ages which makes it a suitable place for family entertainment. Currently, there are several phenomena that influence the decision to purchase CGV cinema tickets so the formulation of the problem is obtained regarding whether promotion, service quality, and price can influence purchasing decisions. This research was conducted with the aim of proving whether promotion, service quality, and price influence purchasing decisions. The target population in this study were all consumers from CGV cinemas in DKI Jakarta with a sample of 100 respondents using a non- probability sampling technique and a purposive sampling method. This research uses quantitative methods. The tool used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that the promotion, service quality, and price variables have a significant positive influence on the decision to purchase CGV cinema tickets in DKI Jakarta. Based on the t-statistic test, the variables studied have the same effect, but the promotion variable has a greater influence in measuring purchasing decisions by 35.5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of workload mediation on performance influenced by the work environment and compensation  of start-up  companies with workload as a mediating variable carried out on Startup Logistics employees. The respondents in this study were 155 employees  of DKI Jakarta Logistics Startup. Banten, and Bogor.by using sampling techniques that make all members of the population as samples. The analysis technique used is the path analysis method and data processing is carried out through SmartPLS 4.0. The results of testing this study show that  the work environment has no effect and is not significant on the performance of the Startup company, (2) compensation has an effect and is significant on the performance of the Startup company, the workload-mediated work environment has an effect and is significant on the performance of  the Startup company , workload-mediated compensation has an  effect and is significant on the performance of the Startup company, the work environment has no effect and is not significant on the performance of the Startup company. This research is very useful for companies to consider that in order for employee performance to increase, a balanced workload mediation role is needed, as well as a good work environment and fair compensation and employee welfare

Abstract

This community service program is a collaboration between a team of lecturers from UPN Veteran Jakarta and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in DKI Jakarta. This activity is useful between UPN Veteran Jakarta and MSMEs Level Up Kominfo RI. This program is not only a form of cooperation between educational institutions and government institutions, but also as a form of community service from UPNVJ lecturers through the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. With a focus on developing marketing strategies, this activity aims to help MSMEs utilize sales data to improve their marketing performance. The lecturer team collaborates with MSMEs in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to identify relevant patterns and trends in consumer behavior. Based on these findings, a marketing strategy was developed tailored to the characteristics of the local market and consumer needs. The strategy includes the utilization of social media, online platforms, proper market segmentation, and appropriate product development. In addition, this program also involves training activities and workshops to improve understanding and marketing skills for MSMEs. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that MSMEs in DKI Jakarta can strengthen their position in the market and increase their competitiveness in a sustainable manner. This program is a concrete step in supporting local economic growth and the development of MSMEs as an important pillar in the economy. After the service activities, MSMEs in DKI Jakarta benefit from more effective marketing strategies, increased sales, and a better understanding of using sales data. This has an impact on local economic growth and the empowerment of MSME communities

Abstract

This study that aims to explain the effect of flexible work arrangements and job satisfaction on the performance of employees of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study, namely employees of computer institutions with echelon 3 positions in the Directorate of ICT. To analyze the data, this study used the Likert scale method. This study also uses analytical methods and PLS software as a tool to process data. The results of this study are flexible work arrangements have a positive effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. The implications of this research are used as input for the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in implementing flexible working arrangements as a new work culture within government agencies and the application of effective human resources to increase employee job satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the future.   ABSTRAK Kebijakan Polri Presisi mendorong kepemimpinan Polri yang tidak hanya tekun, tetapi juga siap dalam pengambilan keputusan secara cepat, tepat dan profesional. Kepemimpinan Polri tidak poleh lagi bersifat single fighter, tetapi harus membangun kekompakan tim melalui kerjasama dan sinergi. Penelitian ini ingin mendapatkan gambaran tentang penerapan Kepemimpinan 360 di Polres Cimahi yaitu gaya kepemimpinan yang menekankan kerjasama ke atas, ke samping dan ke bawah. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan ke atas diterapkan melalui: memimpin diri sendiri menjadi pemiimpin unggul, mengelola emosi dan waktu secara cerdas, meringankan beban atasan, memiliki kinerja lebih baik dari pejabat terdahulu, tidak menolak tugas yang sulit atau belum ada panduan, bekerja melebihi standar, membangun hubungan baik dengan atasan. Kepemimpinan ke samping dilakukan melalui: memberikan dukungan dan bantuan, membangun tim kerja, mengupayakan solusi masalah yang tidak bertentangan dengan aturan organisasi maupun kondisi eksternal, memperluas jejaring dengan stakeholder, berpikir positif sesama rekan kerja, membangun ide kreatif, dan tidak menganggap diri paling hebat. Kepimpinan ke bawah dterapkan melalui: menjaga komunikasi dan menyambangi, mengingat topuksi yang harus dikerjakan, membuka ruang untuk konsultasi penyelesaian masalah pekerjaan atau pribadi, mengupayakan peluang peningkatan kompetensi, memberi reward dan mengingatkan untuk selalu bersemangat dan bersyukur.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of collection awareness to acquisition duty of right on land and building (BPHTB) with the improvement of regional income in Depok City. The sample in this study is BPHTB in Depok City taxpayers as many as 200 respondents with purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative analysis using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model of the AMOS 22 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive impact of the system of collection effectiveness, and awareness of taxpayers BPHTB on tax payer compliance the Significant increase in Regional Income. The meaning of an effective strategy in increasing regional income through the effectiveness of BPHTB tax collection and the results of calculating the direct, indirect and total influence resulting in novel values ​​from the results of the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of self-efficacy as a mediator in the effect of workload and job satisfaction on electronic performance (E-Performance). The data analysis method uses a mediation model with self-efficacy variables as intermediaries, measured through the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The sample of this study amounted to 100 people taken from employees of companies engaged in the Logistics Industry. The results showed that workload did not have a significant effect on E-Performance, while job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect. Self-efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between workload and full E-Performance, as well as partially mediate between job satisfaction and E-Performance. The implications of these findings contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence electronic performance in the work environment, by highlighting the role of self-efficacy as a relevant mediator. These conclusions can help organizations in designing more effective management strategies to improve performance in the technological era.

Abstract

The Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Organizing Agency, operating as a State-Owned Enterprise, is obligated to uphold the tenets of Good Corporate Governance per the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation Number 01 of 2011. This commitment extends to the implementation of policies outlined in Law Number 14 of 2008, specifically addressing the Openness of Public Information. A nuanced analysis, rooted in George Edward's implementation theory, delves into the complexities of how the Information and Documentation Management Officer at AirNav Indonesia navigates the communication dynamics, resource allocation, organizational disposition, and bureaucratic structure inherent in executing public information disclosure policies. Employing qualitative methods and triangulation techniques, this study unravels the intricate interplay of these components, illustrating that effective implementation transcends procedural adherence to embody a comprehensive orchestration of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness within the context of public information disclosure. The Information and Documentation Management Officer emerges as a pivotal figure, strategically aligning these elements to achieve a robust realization of the principles of good corporate governance.

Abstract

The Community Service International (CSI) project is a collaboration between the Veteran National Development University of Jakarta, Indonesia, and the University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which focuses on improving the sales performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This activity targets Ayaq World Sdn Bhd (AWSB), a small business under the guidance of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) in Kuala Lumpur, which is engaged in the production and marketing of natural fruit juices.  The CSI team visited production sites, held face-to-face discussions, and analyzed the conditions and challenges faced by AWSB. Based on this analysis, the team proposed solutions, including the use of digital marketing to expand the market, increase interaction with consumers, and build brand awareness. This is expected to significantly increase AWSB's sales turnover. In addition to providing practical solutions, this activity also shows how academic collaboration can strengthen the relationship between the world of education and industry, create sustainable synergies, and encourage innovation in business strategies. Thus, CSI has succeeded in creating a sustainable positive impact, not only for AWSB, but also for other MSMEs who can benefit from the results and findings of this activity

Abstract

The most important resource of an organization is human resources, so employees are the key determinant of organizational success. Performance is the result of work achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks according to responsibilities. The performance of employees at the Directorate General of Pothan Kemhan is still considered not optimal, it can be seen from the quality of work that has not been in accordance with the expectations of the leadership. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of the work environment, commitment and organizational culture on employee performance. The research method is a survey method to 141 employees as a representative sample which is calculated based on the Slovin formula, by distributing questionnaires that are answered with a Likekert scale model statement. The analysis technique is path analysis with the help of lisrel software. The results of the analysis can be concluded that the work environment and commitment have a positive and significant effect on organizational culture and also on employee performance. Suggestions are to create a comfortable work environment, increase employee commitment by instilling an attitude of loyalty to the organization, trust in the organization and view that the success of the organization is a success for itself and instill an organizational culture that is good values and beliefs in employees.
