Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru, (2) penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru, (3) prinsip kesantunan berbahasa siswa, dan (4) penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa siswa pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. Objek penelitian ini adalah prinsip kesantunan berbahasa serta penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru dan siswa pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan wawancara. Metode observasi digunakan untuk mencari data terkait keempat masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Metode wawancara digunakan sebagai metode lanjutan untuk mencari data yang dianggap kurang saat observasi. Metode analisis data digunakan beberapa langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak sebanyak 83 tuturan. (2) Penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak sebanyak 91 tuturan. (3) Prinsip kesantunan berbahasa siswa pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak yang muncul sebanyak 40 tuturan. (4) Penyimpangan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa siswa pada saat proses belajar-mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak yang muncul sebanyak 48 tuturan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa prinsip kesantunan berbahasa guru sebanyak 83 dengan penyimpangan 91, sedangkan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa siswa sebanyak 40 dengan penyimpangan 48 tuturan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. Untuk itu, pihak sekolah hendaknya lebih mendidik siswanya agar menjadi lebih santun, baik dalam bersikap maupun dalam bertutur sapa. Keterampilan menggunakan bahasa yang santun nantinya akan berimplikasi bagi penciptaan karakter siswa yang baik dan sopan.Kata Kunci : Kata-kata kunci: penyimpangan kesantunan, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. This qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe (1) the principle of politeness teachers, (2) the deviation principle of politeness teacher, (3) the principle of politeness students, and (4) the deviation principle of politeness students during the teaching-learning process in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. The subjects were teachers and students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. The object of this research is the deviations principle of politeness teachers and students during the teaching-learning process in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. The data collection method used is the observation and interviews method. Data analysis methods used several steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that (1) the amount of the principle of politeness teacher during teaching and learning process is 83 data. (2) The amount of deviation principle of politeness teacher during teaching and learning process is 91 data. (3) The amount of the principle of politeness students during the teaching-learning process in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak is 40 data. (4) The amount the deviation principle of politeness students during the teaching-learning process in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak is 48 data. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the principle of speech politeness of teachers and students more dominant than the amount of deviation principles of speech politeness teachers and students in the learning process in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gerokgak. Therefor, the school should be more to educate students to become well-mannered students, both in attitude and in speech. Using polite language skills will have implications for the creations of the character of the students were kind and polite.keyword : Key words: deviation politeness, learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi model quantum learning, (2) respons siswa terhadap pengimplementasian model quantum learning, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan model quantum learning dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi di kelas X SMKN 1 Abang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa di kelas X SMKN 1 Abang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, pencatatan dokumen, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Cara menganalisis data dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) guru mengimplementasikan model quantum learning dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu tumbuhkan, alami, namai, demonstrasikan, ulangi, dan rayakan. Guru sudah mengimplementasikan quantum learning dengan baik sesuai prosedur. (2) Respons siswa terhadap pengimplementasian model quantum learning positif. Sebanyak 96% siswa kelas X AK.1 merespons positif dan sebanyak 81% siswa kelas X TKJ.1 juga merespons positif pengimplementasian model quantum learning. (3) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan model quantum learning, yaitu adanya perbedaan konsep belajar 17,23%, kesiapan belajar siswa 19,3%, perbedaan kecerdasan siswa 23,1%, perbedaan kebutuhan dan tujuan siswa 13,5%, dan sikap atau kebiasaan siswa yang salah 25%. Kata Kunci : model quantum learning, karangan deskrpsi. Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk, jenis, dan latar belakang campur kode bahasa guru dan bahasa siswa; subjek penelitian seorang guru bahasa Bali, siswa kelas II dan kelas III; objek penelitian bentuk, jenis, dan latar belakang campur kode bahasa guru dan bahasa siswa. Data dicari menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara dan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, klasifikasi dan penyajian data, penyimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) bentuk campur kode bahasa guru ditemukan 38 tuturan (48,71%) tataran kata, 25 tuturan (32,05%) tataran frasa, dan 15 tuturan (19,23%) tataran klausa; bahasa siswa 9 tuturan (56,25%) tataran kata, 2 tuturan (12,5%) tataran frasa, dan 5 tuturan (31,25%) tataran klausa; (2) jenis campur kode bahasa guru ditemukan 70 tuturan (89,74%) jenis campur kode ke dalam dan sebanyak 8 tuturan (10,25%) jenis campur kode campuran; sedangkan bahasa siswa ditemukan 11 tuturan (68,75%) jenis campur kode ke dalam dan sebanyak 5 tuturan (31,25) jenis campur kode campuran; (3) latar belakang guru melakukan campur kode ingin menggunakan istilah yang lebih populer, tujuan dan fungsi pembicaraan, serta mitra bicara; sedangkan siswa melakukan campur kode karena keterbatasan kosakata. Bentuk dan jenis campur kode bahasa yang paling banyak muncul adalah tataran kata dan jenis campur kode ke dalam. Kata Kunci : campur kode bahasa, pelajaran bahasa Bali This study descriptive qualitative design aimed to describe the forms, the types, and the background of mixed code language teachers and students in the teaching learning process Bahasa Bali subject at Taman Rama School; The subjects of this research were a Balinese teachers and grade II and III elementary students at Taman Rama School. The objects of this study were the forms, the types, and the background of code mixing in teaching learning process were done by teachers and students of Bahasa Bali subject at Taman Rama School. The method of data collection used documentation and interviews and were analyzed by using reduction of data, classification and presentation of data, inference and verification of data. The results of this study showed that (1) interfere of code language teacher, was found 38 utterances (48.71%) in the form of code mixing at the level of words, utterances 25 (32.05%) in the form of code-mixing at the level of the phrase, and 15 utterances (19 , 23%) in the form of code mixing at the level clause, the mixed code was found 9 speech language students (56.25%) in the form of code mixing at the level of words, two utterances (12.5%) in the form of code mixing at the level phrases, and 5 speech (31.25%) in the form of code-mixing at the level of clause (2) types of code-mixing language teacher was found 70 types of utterances (89.74%) and the mixed code into as many as 8 speech (10.25%) types of code mixing the mixture, types of code-mixing language students found was 11 utterances (68.75%) were included into the mixed code and as many as 5 speech (31.25) types of code mixing the mixture, (3) the background teachers used code mixing the factors wants to use the more popular term, factors purpose and function of the talks, as well as factors conversation partner, the background of the students used code mixing was a limited vocabulary.keyword : Code mixing, Bahasa Bali subject

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlibatan aspek semantik: 1) praanggapan, 2) implikatur, 3) pertuturan, dan 4) dunia kemungkinan dalam membangun bahasa humor verbal dalam kartun Negara ½ Gila, dan 5) efek yang dirasakan pembaca humor dalam kartun tersebut. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku kartun Negara ½ Gila karya Dody, Mujik, dan Rumrum Setiadi. Metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data keterlibatan aspek semantik. Sementara itu, metode wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data efek pembaca humor. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan aspek semantik: (1) praanggapan, (2) implikatur, (3) pertuturan, dan (4) dunia kemungkinan sebagai pembangun bahasa humor verbal dalam kartun Negara ½ Gila dibangun melalui beberapa unsur penting yakni: unsur gambar, ujaran tokoh kartun, keterangan kartunis, kombinasi gambar dan ujaran tokoh kartun, kombinasi gambar dan keterangan kartunis, dan kombinasi gambar dengan ujaran tokoh kartun dan keterangan kartunis, dan (5) terdapat dua efek yang dirasakan pembaca kartun humor Negara ½ Gila. Pertama, efek tersenyum, tertawa, dan senang. Kedua, efek bingung dan kesal bagi pembacanya. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi pembaca humor, peneliti, kartunis, dan dunia pendidikan. Jika menginginkan hasil yang lebih maksimal, peneliti lain hendaknya melakukan penelitian yang lebih mendalam daripada penelitian yang telah dilakukan ini.Kata Kunci : semantik, humor, kartun Negara ½ Gila This qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the involvement of semantic aspects: 1) presuppositions, 2) implicature, 3) speech act, 4) possible world, and 4) the possibility of building a world language in the verbal humor Negara ½ Gila cartoon, and 5) the perceived effects of humor in the cartoon reader. The data source of this research is a cartoon book entitled Negara ½ Gila by Dody, Mujik, and Rumrum Setiadi. Methods used to collect data documentation involvement semantic aspects. Meanwhile, the interview methods used to collect data on the effects of humoe readers. Data analysis was perfomed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that involvement of semantic aspects: 1) presuppositions, 2) implicature, 3) speech act, 4) possible world, and 4) possible world as builder of verbal humor language in Negara ½ Gila cartoon was created through substances, such as: elements of image, utterance cartoon, cartoonist description, the combination of image and speech cartoon character, a combination of image and caption cartoonist, and a combination of cartoon character images with speech and information cartoonist. There are two effects that was appeared by reader of Negara ½ Gila humor cartoon. First, the effects of smiling, laughing, and happy. Secondly, the effect for the reader confused and irritated. The results of this study useful for humor readers, researchers, cartoonists, and education. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi peningkatan pemahaman kosakata tanamam obat tradisional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar di kelas VII SMPN 8 Denpasar. Objek penelitian ini adalah strategi yang digunakan, penerapan strategi yang digunakan, kendala yang dihadapi guru. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Strategi yang digunakan, yaitu heuristik dan ekspositoris. (2) Penerapan strategi melalui beberapa langkah pada kegiatan pendahuluan hingga kegiatan akhir. (3) Kendala guru, yaitu sulit mengondisikan kelas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru menggunakan strategi ekspositoris dan heuristik. Penerapan strategi sudah sesuai langkah-langkah yang ditetapkan, kendala guru ialah sulit mengondisikan siswa. Disarankan kepada guru agar selalu mengevaluasi setiap strategi yang diterapkan di dalam kelas,   Kata-kata kunci: strategi, pemahaman kosakata. ABSTRACT This research aim describing the improving strategy of understanding traditional herbal vocabulary. The subject of research is the teacher who teach in class VII SMPN 8 Denpasar. The object of research is the strategy which is used, the strategy application which is used, constraints which is faced by teacher. The data collection method this research are observation method, documentation, interview. The result of research shows (1) the strategy which is used are heuristic and ekspositoris. (2) The strategy application through several steps in beginning until ending activities. (3) The teacher constraint was difficult for conditioning the class. It can be concluded the teacher used ekspositoris strategy and heuristic. The application of strategy has appropriate steps that has been decided, the teacher constraint is difficult to conditioning students. It is suggested the teacher in order to evaluate each strategy which is applied in the class.   Key words: the strategy,  vocabulary understanding.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji metode pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan, yang merupakan fondasi vital dan kebutuhan primer setiap anak didik untuk dapat melanjutkan studinya ke jenjang pendidikan  yang lebih tinggi. Fondasi vital dan kebutuhan primer ini diperlukan atas hasil riset Ismail yang dikutip Imran membuktikan bahwa keterampilan menulis siswa Indonesia paling rendah di Asia. Hal ini diduga karena rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa. Sebagaimana dilaporkan oleh Bank Dunia pada 1988 hasil tes membaca murid SD di Indonesia berada pada peringkat terendah di Asia Timur. Atas dasar ini, pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan perlu dicarikan solusi. Salah satu solusi itu ialah pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan dengan metode analisis – sintetis dan fonik (GASIF). Global (G) berperan memberikan gambaran umum dengan tujuan memudahkan siswa untuk belajar. Hal ini sesuai dengan konsep belajar yang dimulai dari yang mudah ke yang sulit.Kata kunci: GASIF, Membaca, Menulis Permulaan

Abstract

This study aimed to find out (1) ethnomedical understanding on the conservation of medicinal plants vocabulary in the South Kuta community, (2) the implication of ethnomedical understanding on the conservation of medicinal plants vocabulary in the South Kuta community. The design of this study was descriptive research design. The subjects in this study were 200 people. The objects in this study were in the form of understanding of the ethnomedical vocabulary, medicinal plants, and the implications of ethnomedical understanding on the preservation of vocabulary on traditional medicinal plants. Data collection were conducted by distributing questionnaires, interviews, document recording, and observation. Data analyses were conducted by the descriptive method of quantitative and qualitative. The presentation was done formally and informally. The results showed that the percentage of understanding which was very dominant or above 50%are aloe vera, turmeric, ginger, and kencur. The implications of ethnomedical understanding on vocabulary preservation of medicinal plants for the people of South Kuta include vocabulary linkages, the making of traditional medicines, the making and utilization of them, such as the manufacture and use of herbs for traditional medicine made from turmeric, dadap, aloe vera, ginger, and kencur. Making vegetables, from Moringa leaves, and dadap which is mashed and pasted/smeared, andong, dadap, kelor, turmeric, ginger, kencur. In addition, the manufacture of scrubs from turmeric, and kencur. Words of traditional medicinal plants which were not listed in implication mean the community just understood or knew but the implementation related to ethnomedical had not been done. In short, the percentage of public understanding which is dominant or above 50% is the understanding of the word of aloe vera, turmeric, ginger, and kencur. The implications of the ethnomedical understanding of vocabulary preservation of medicinal plants of the people of South Kuta include the linkage of vocabulary to the manufacture of traditional medicines and their utilization, such as the manufacture and use of herbs for traditional medicine made from turmeric, dadap, aloe vera, ginger, and kencur.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the narrative structure of novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu, (2) the role of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu, (3) the struggle of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu. This research uses feminism study with qualitative research. The data was collected by using library research. The library method was used at finding out the data in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu and in other literature which supports this research. The analyzed data are narrative structure, the role of women figure and the struggle of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The data were analyzed through the stage of reduction, presentation and data collection. The subject of this research is the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu, the object of this research is the narrative structure, the role of women figure and the struggle of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The result of this research refers to (1) The Narrative structure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu was include figure, characterization, plot and background. (2) The role of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu was found in the social domain, domestic and public. (3) The struggle of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu was manifested by struggling in maintaining in the status as women, the struggle in maintaining the gender. The form of feminism was described in the novel Nayla as never surrender, not dependent to the parents, and behaves deviate. Novel Nayla to present the relationship of gender that leads to a superior. Novel Nayla as the main character show business to make a women who has the dignity of which is equivalent to the men. Based on the results of analysis and advice for women in order to improve the quality of the field of education, domestic, and the public so that gender equality can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) describe the values of character education contained in the folklore that used as subject material in Ganesha Vocational High School and (2) the relevance of the values of character education in the folklore in the development of student character. The design of this research is descriptive-qualitative. The subjects of this study are 10 folklores used in Ganesha Vocational High School and teachers of Indonesian subjects in Ganesha Vocational High School. The object of this study is the values of character education contained in the folklore and its relevance to the formation of student characters. Data collection methods used are documentation and interview method. Data analysis is done descriptively-qualitative. At the data reduction stage, identification stage is performed, data matching the problem is observed and classified and at the conclusion draw stage. The results showed that from ten folklore stories analyzed there are values of character education as follows; (1) religious (faith, piety, and thanksgiving); (2) responsibility; (3) social concern (public interest, helpers, willing to sacrifice, cooperation, sharing, and loving); (4) honest; (5) curiosity; (6) the spirit of nationality; (7) love the homeland; (8) independent; (9) discipline; (10); love peace; (11) hard work; (12) creative; (13) friendly / communicative; (14) tolerance; (15) appreciate achievement; (16) care about the environment; (17) like to read; (18) democratic. The results of interviews with teachers of Indonesian subjects in Ganesha Vocational High School, folklore contain the values of advice that can be used as teaching materials, so it has relevance for the development of student character. The conclusion of this study shows the value of characters contained in the story of the people of the Indonesian archipelago is very relevant to be a mirror in everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to (1) describe the language variations in sociolinguistic interaction of society in Busungbiu district Buleleng Regency, (2) to describe the language choice in sociolinguistic interaction of society in Busungbiu district Buleleng Regency, and (3) to describe the factors that affect language variations and language choices in sociolinguistic interaction of society  in Busungbiu district Buleleng Regency. Data were collected using observation and interview. The data are analyzed through reduction, presentation and data collection. The location of this research is 4 of 15 villages in Busungbiu sub-district that is Sepang Village, Pelapuan, Kekeran, and Busungbiu. The result of this research shows that (1) There are language variations in terms of speakers of dialect and sociolek and language variations in terms of formality. (2) There is a code switching of the Bali language code into the Indonesia language, code switching the Indonesia language code into Bali language, code switching the Java language code into the Indonesia language. The code mixing into and code mixing exit. (3) Factors that influence is the language variation that is area of the speaker's and social origin. Factors that influence is the language choice that is changing speech situations, the presence of a third person, awakens a sense of humor, to a mere prestige, using more popular terms. Thus it can be concluded that the Bali language experiencing critical condition and bali language start to weaken. This can be proved by the existence of citizens who notabene native Bali language speakers can code switch and code mixed, so the use of Bali language began to shift little by little. Based on this, the need for guidance, training and coaching, especially the Bali language in Busungbiu district.
