Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to improve student learning outcomes. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model Thiagarajan which includes stages Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate but the Disseminate stage is not carried out. The findings showed that the feasibility of the material, language, evaluation, and graphics of 87%, 85%, 85%, 87% with a very decent category. The average N-gain score got a score of 0.6 categorized as moderate and classical completeness of student learning outcomes is 90%. While the results of the responses of students get an average percentage of 90,4% categorized as very feasible. Improved learning outcomes can be obtained using MMPII worksheets which include metacognitive features namely planning, monitoring, and evaluating. This study uses limited trials that were conducted on 20 students of XI IPS class Kanjeng Sepuh Senior High School.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dimana analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisa regresi linier berganda untuk analisa literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan tidak hanya analisis regresi linier berganda tetapi juga uji signifikansi melalui uji t, uji f dan uji koefisien determinan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan literasi ekonomi mempunyai pengaruh negatif signifikan, gaya hidup berpengaruh positif signifikan, kontrol diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan terdapat pengaruh secara bersama antara variabel literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap variabel perilaku konsumtif yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai F hitung 11,729 dan signifikansi 0,000 > 0,05. Dan ditunjukkan dari nilai R Square sebesar 0,395. Saat pandemi aktivitas berbelanja (online) produk (fashion) sangatlah meningkat. Hal tersebut menyebabkankan meningkatnya perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa. Sehingga perlu adanya faktor yang dapat meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif tersebut. Melalui literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri yang baik akan dapat meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa dalam berbelanja.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Blended Learning learning model that was applied during the Covid-19 pandemic and is seen based on the responses of students. In addition, this research also aims to analyze how effectively the Blended Learning model is able to increase learning independence and student learning outcomes. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research that uses a quasi-experimental approach with a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study was class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Puri, Mojokerto. The sampling technique used was the Simple Random Side technique and obtained class XI IPS 1 as the control class and XI IPS 3 as the Experiment class. The research data comes from primary and secondary data. Primary data comes from posttest scores, independence questionnaires and student responses. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained based on documentation on the value and attendance of students. This research succeeded in proving that blended learning learning could be carried out with a percentage of 95.83%. The effectiveness of the Blended learning model shows a percentage of 73.84%. The implementation of the Blended Learning model is also effective in increasing learning independence which is shown in the Sign value (2-tailed) is 0.021 <0.05, and can also improve student learning outcomes shown in the Sign (2-tailed) value is 0.032 <0, 05.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media gamifikasi Think Card pada materi keseimbangan pasar dan struktur pasar dengan menguji tingkat kelayakan, respon dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS sebanyak 105 orang, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS 2 sebanyak 17 orang pada rentang usia 15-16 tahun. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah menentukan persentase kelayakan, menganalisis respon peserta didik, dan menganalisis hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan R&D dengan model 4D. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan aspek materi sebesar 88 dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek media sebesar 97,1 dengan kategori sangat layak, aspek grafis sebesar 86,7 dengan kategori sangat layak, dan aspek evaluasi sebesar 78 dengan kategori layak. Rata-rata respon peserta didik sebesar 83,5 dengan kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata pretest peserta didik adalah 48,8, sedangkan rata-rata posttest adalah 76,4. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh positif dari media gamifikasi Think Card terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Student behavior is one of important aspects to determine both direction and process in the Economic Theory learning. This study aims to draw how those two factors, gender and educational background, support the emergence and development of student entrepreneurial intention. This study is a quantitative study using explanatory survey. Data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA design to find the relationship/influence of gender and educational background on student entrepreneurial intention. The population was 111 students. Saturated samples were used as sampling technique. The results indicate that both gender and educational background had no significant influence on student entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, lecturers can override both when preparing learning strategies and design for Economics Theory courses.

Abstract

Activities inlearning hybrid in the new normal era, students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya have not been achieved optimally. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the application of themodel Problem Based Learning and the ESD-based CTL approach on critical thinking skills inlearning hybrid in the new normal era. The type of approach in this research is quantitative while the type of research is causal associative. The sample used as many as 78 students from 97 students of class X Social Sciences SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya obtained through the slovin formula. The data collection stage in the study was carried out through theinstrument items pretest and posttest and for data analysis was carried out using the SPSS-24 application. Based on the analysis of the research results that there are significant differences in the effect of the application of themodel problem based learning and the ESD-based CTL approach on students' critical thinking skills. Models and approaches to learning are one of the important factors to improve critical thinking skills and based on the findings of researchers thatmodels problem-based learning and ESD-based CTL approaches affect students' critical thinking skills inlearning hybrid in the new normal era. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v15i12022p009

Abstract

Many students are dissatisfied with using blended learning platforms. At the same time, student satisfaction with a blended learning platform can determine the quality of learning and learning outcomes. This study analyzed the direct and indirect influence between the user perception of a blended learning platform, self-efficacy, and emotional engagement on student satisfaction. This research includes quantitative research with a type of causality—grade XI students of IPS SMA 14 Negeri Surabaya as a population. A sample of 103 students was taken using saturated sample techniques. Data collection is obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis used is path analysis. The results directly influenced perceptions of the usefulness of blended learning platforms, self-efficacy, and emotional engagement on student satisfaction. The indirect influence between the perception of usefulness of platform and self-efficacy to student satisfaction through emotional engagement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of transformational leadership style on work engagement on employee performance mediated by intrinsic motivation. The population in this study were 50 employees of the hotel ashofa Sidoarjo. The sample consists of 50 employees at all different managerial levels, job responsibilities, gender, and educational background taken from the Ashofa Hotel in Sidoarjo. The results of this study are transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, transformational leadership has a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, transformational leadership has a positive effect on work engagement, intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, transformational leadership, work engagement on employee performance mediated by intrinsic motivation has a positive effect , work engagement has no effect on performance. The results of this study can contribute to an understanding of the functions and roles of transformational leadership, work engagement, and intrinsic motivation to improve employee performance at Ashofa Sidoarjo Hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap work engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi intrinsik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 karyawan hotel ashofa Sidoarjo. Sampel terdiri dari 50 karyawan di semua tingkat manajerial yang berbeda, tanggung jawab pekerjaan, jenis kelamin, dan latar belakang pendidikan yang diambil dari Hotel Ashofa di Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi intrinsik, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap work engagement, motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan transformasional, work engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif, work engagement tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pemahaman tentang fungsi dan peran kepemimpinan transformasional, keterikatan kerja, dan motivasi intrinsik untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di Hotel Ashofa Sidoarjo.

Abstract

In this paper will be expanded discussion of the elasticity of demand, particularly in the real case that occurred, related to the policies that apply specifically to the case of sugar as a result of agricultural production. The case of sugar until very interesting discussion considering that there are various problems to be solved with economic studies and practical studies. In connection with Fridmen theory states that the actual purchase decision is based on income and the long period of time. Friedmen also argues that the existence of a temporary tax or any time, then the tax changes do not affect or small effect on the demand for consumer goods. This means that the tax does not affect spending patterns. Tax policy was actually causing problems sugar sugar availability nationally. Tax policy impact on the sugar turns over supply that ultimately led to the availability of the goods exceeds domestic needs. Further demand is expected to lower the sugar, besides the fact that it contradicts the theory of supply and demand, the price of sugar in the country to be expensive. This suggests that the problem of the gap between the expectations of theory, policy set and the fact that there are inconsistent. Meanwhile, from the consumer side, it turns out sugar is a requirement in elastic. Fridmen not explain the assumptions used by type of goods or elatis is elastic. In addition, consumers were not considering the duration and permanent income consumers do not consider in the decision to purchase sugar. Meanwhile, agricultural product tax relief in the long run it did not cause the mechanism of sugar prices running as it should, but instead result in increases in the price of sugar which harm consumers. Under existing conditions, Friedmen theory, the application should consider elatisitas an item. In addition, the government should set the highest price policy (Ceillling Price) to protect consumers.
