Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the experimental method, specifically using hydroponic techniques, in improving student learning outcomes in primary school science education. A quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test measures was employed, involving two groups of sixth-grade students from MI NU Tamrinut Thullab Undaan Kudus, Indonesia. The experimental group engaged in hands-on hydroponic activities, while the control group received traditional lecture-based instruction. The results indicate a significant improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores (M = 89.31) compared to the control group (M = 74.33), with statistical analysis revealing a t-value of 5.85 (p < 0.05). Qualitative feedback from students further supports these findings, as they reported increased motivation and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through the experimental method. This study highlights the potential of inquiry-based, hands-on learning to enhance student engagement and performance, especially in resource-limited educational settings. The findings suggest that integrating experimental methods into the science curriculum can significantly improve learning outcomes and should be considered in future educational reforms. However, the study's limitations, including a small sample size, indicate the need for further research to replicate these findings in diverse contexts.

Abstract

Indonesia has implemented the 2013 curriculum as a text-based learning framework. The text is used as a defender of science. The logical consequence, language skills are an absolute requirement for students so that they can achieve learning goals. On the other hand, writing is the highest skill in the language. Therefore, the study was aimed to describe the explanatory writing skills of fifth-grade elementary students. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using a sample of fifth-grade students in public elementary schools in the city of Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection techniques using documents and interviews. Source triangulation is used as data validity. The results showed that the greatest difficulty students had in writing explanations was writing cohesive and coherent sentences and paragraphs. They are only able to write their ideas without regard to syntactic rules. These writing skills involve students' metacognitive skills which also reflect other language skills such as listening and reading. This research output will be useful for academics and practitioners in determining the right learning approach to improve the success of text-based learning or the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Jenis penelitian yaitu Pre-eksperimen dengan jenis One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Variabel bebas adalah strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity dan variabel terikat adalah kemampuan menulis narasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SDN 20 Totakka Kabupaten Soppeng berjumlah 125 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling dengan sampel siswa kelas V berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deksriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebelum menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity rata-rata pretest siswa 58,39 berada pada kategori sedang dan setelah menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity rata-rata posttest siswa meningkat menjadi 84,11 berada pada kategori sangat baik (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SDN 20 Totakka Kabupaten Soppeng.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif Kahoot terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 179 Mallinrung, Kecamatan Libureng, Kabupaten Bone. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes membaca pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics Version 26. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai probabilitas pretest sebesar 0,406 dan posttest sebesar 0,067, yang keduanya melebihi ambang batas signifikansi 0,05. Uji hipotesis membuktikan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05) serta nilai t-hitung sebesar 14,508 yang melampaui t-tabel sebesar 2,045. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif Kahoot berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar guru mempertimbangkan pemanfaatan Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran guna mengoptimalkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 217 Kampuno Kabupaten Bone. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental design dengan teknik One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut sebagai variabel terikat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebagai variabel bebas dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 13 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan tes yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa sebelum dan setelah menerapkan model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebelum penerapan model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut, nilai pretest siswa dengan rata-rata 47.08 dan setelah menerapkan model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut, hasil posttest siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 84.31; (2) dari hasil pretest dan posttest diperoleh selisih sebesar 37.231. Diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest lebih tinggi dibanding rata-rata nilai pretest yang menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan nilai dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang berarti model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa; (3) adapun selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, dari data pretest dan posttest siswa menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0.001 lebih kecil dari 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan. Hipotesis alternatif atau H1 diterima dan hipotesis nol atau H0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan jam sudut terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 217 Kampuno Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

Participants in this activity were the teachers at SD INP 12/79 BIRU 1 in Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. The problem in this activity was that teachers experienced problems or difficulties in starting to use the application to determine the level of difficulty of sums. To address this problem, mentoring was provided by providing direct guidance to the participants on how to start using the application to determine the level of difficulty of sums. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. Results and Conclusions: The problems or difficulties experienced by teachers in starting or beginning to use the application to determine the level of difficulty of sumss included the following aspects: writing the answer key in the application menu provided, saving the files, reading processed data regarding the level of difficulty of questions already in the application, opening the saved files, adding the sums to the "raw data editing" menu, removing/deleting certain subjects in the "raw data editing" menu, and interpreting various symbols in the application's processed output related to the level of difficulty of questions. The way to overcome all of these problems or difficulties is by providing direct guidance or assistance to participants on their laptops so that all participants quickly understand and can use the application effectively to determine the level of difficulty of the sumss.

Abstract

Tujuan Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini adalah: (1) Menambah wawasan/pengetahuan pengurus sanggar seni Basic- Camp Prodi PGSD Bone FIP UNM di bidang acting dalam seni teater agar program kerja dapat terlaksana dengan lebih terarah berdasarkan kebutuhan calon anggota. (2) Meningkatkan dan memerkaya pengalaman pengurus sanggar seni Basic-Camp Prodi PGSD Bone FIP UNM dalam melakukan seni akting khusunya dalam mengekspresikan diri agar tampil alami (tidak dibuat-buat), khusunya: mengatur vokal dan menciptakan intonasi sesuai makna kata/kalimat yang disampaikan baik melalui dialog maupun monolog. (3) Meningkatkan dan memerkaya pengalaman pengurus sanggar seni Basic-Camp Prodi PGSD Bone FIP UNM dalam menciptakan gestur yang tepat meliputi mimik (ekspresi wajah) dan pantomimik (gerakan tubuh). Metode yang digunakan dalam mencapai tujuan adalah: penyuluhan/informasi, tanya jawab, pelatihan/penugasan, observasi, dan demonstrasi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah para mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam pengurus sanggar seni Basic-Camp Prodi PGSD FIP UNM terampil memainkan berbagai ekspresi dengan intonasi dan gerakan (mimik dan pantomimik) yang tepat. Selain itu, mereka juga telah memahami bahwa untuk memiliki kemampuan dalam berakting, tidak hanya didasari oleh bakat saja, namun lebih dari itu adalah kemauan dan latihan secara serius agar dapat tampil secara rileks dan alami

Abstract

Post-merger integration will definitely bring up new dynamics or problems in aspects of corporate culture and human resources. The clash of organizational culture conflicts is a critical factor that determines the success or failure of a merger process, therefore, the topic of organizational culture is an important one to study because, from here, the identity of a business organization will be revealed. Implementation of a good organizational culture will definitely be directly proportional to sharia compliance. Two years after the merger, Bank Sharia Indonesia has shown a positive trend towards the company's performance. The problem of this research can be formulated as follows: how is the strategy of Bank Sharia Indonesia in harmonizing organizational culture clashes during mergers, how is the implementation of sharia values (sharia compliance), and how is the review of maqâsid al-syarî'ah in both of these? This study aims to determine the strategy of Bank Sharia Indonesia in harmonizing organizational culture clashes that arise during a merger and how it is implemented in adherence to sharia values. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this study found BSI strategies for harmonizing organizational culture. First, the BSI founder created the "AKHLAK" work culture, called trustworthy, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, and collaborative, which was applied to all BSI personnel. Secondly, they consolidated before the merger the legal action of the three banks in the merger process; BSI did not lay off any of the HR of the banks participating in the merger.

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This research is a quantitative study with a One Group Pretest Posttest design aimed at determining the effect of applying Mnemonic techniques on the poetry writing ability of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 6/75 TA, Bone Regency. This study involved 22 fifth-grade students as samples using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through pretest and posttest poetry writing ability tests. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average pretest score of the students was 42.0455, which falls into the "Poor" category, whereas the average posttest score increased to 73.0114, which falls into the "Good" category. These results indicate an improvement in students' poetry writing skills after the application of the Mnemonic technique. Furthermore, based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test, a t-value of (15.541) was obtained, which is greater than the t-table value (2.07961) and is significant at 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is acceptedKey Words: Mnemonic technique, ability, poetry writing.

Abstract

Estimate of andesite and pyroclastic breccia resources at PT Tepat Guna Reforindo has been carried out. Which is an area with potential for non-metallic mining materials. This research was carried out using the Civil 3D Gridding method. One of the non-metallic minerals found in East Lombok district is andesite rock and pyroclastic breccia. The research was carried out using petrological analysis methods to obtain rock types and estimate the availability of minerals and sieve analysis to obtain density values at the research location. Based on the results of petrological analysis, it shows that the sample is a type of andesite rock and also breccia. However, the presence of all samples is dominated by andesite rock samples which are abundant in 95% of the exploration area. Based on the results estimation of andesite rock resources from geological modeling and calculations using the Civil 3D Gridding method from A-B at an elevation of 100-40 meters above sea level, it was found that the measured resource of andesite rock units had a volume of 492,638.108 m3 and resource of pyroclastic breccia rock units had a volume of 738,957.162 m3, results of the analysis of the average rock density of 2.74 g/cm3, then the tonnage of the andesite unit is 1,302,781.480 tons and the pyroclastic breccia tonnage is 1,998,879.120 tons.
