Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This research is a quantitative study with a One Group Pretest Posttest design aimed at determining the effect of applying Mnemonic techniques on the poetry writing ability of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 6/75 TA, Bone Regency. This study involved 22 fifth-grade students as samples using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through pretest and posttest poetry writing ability tests. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average pretest score of the students was 42.0455, which falls into the "Poor" category, whereas the average posttest score increased to 73.0114, which falls into the "Good" category. These results indicate an improvement in students' poetry writing skills after the application of the Mnemonic technique. Furthermore, based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test, a t-value of (15.541) was obtained, which is greater than the t-table value (2.07961) and is significant at 0.000 0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is acceptedKey Words: Mnemonic technique, ability, poetry writing.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the implementation of the reading aloud method to improve early reading skills among first-grade students at public alementary school 1 Talesan. The focus includes the instructional process, student responses, skill development, and challenges faced during the intervention. Methodology: This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected using observation sheets, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis. The study involved one Grade I teacher and 19 students. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, and data validation employed triangulation of sources and techniques. Main Findings: The reading aloud method significantly improved students' prosodic reading skills, particularly intonation and vocal clarity. Students demonstrated increased participation and reading confidence. Challenges included varied reading proficiency levels and limited instructional time, which were mitigated through adaptive strategies such as visual aids and individual mentoring. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study presents a contextualized model for implementing the reading aloud method in early-grade classrooms using socio-emotional scaffolding. The findings contribute new insights into integrating expressive reading with adaptive teaching to enhance early literacy in post-pandemic learning environments.

Abstract

Sekolah dasar merupakan jenjang awal dalam sistem pendidikan formal yang bertujuan membekali anakanakdengan kemampuan dasar seperti membaca, menulis, berhitung, serta pemahaman dasar tentang ilmupengetahuan dan nilai-nilai sosial, sekaligus membentuk karakter yang tangguh sebagai bekal menujujenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan mediapembelajaran wordwall terhadap minat belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 112 PacciroKecamatan Ajangale Kabupaten Bone. Metofe penelitian ini kuantitatif, pre-experimental design denganteknik One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran wordwall(X), sedangkan variabel terikat adalah minat belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa (Y) dengan subjek penelitiansebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwarata-rata nilai pre-test siswa yaitu 55,44 sedangkan rata-rata nilai post-test siswa yaitu 66,68. Kesimpulan daripenelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall terhadapminat belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 112 Pacciro Kecamatan Ajangale Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class III elementary school students in An-Najwa, Medan Marelan District, Medan City. This research is a Class Action Research (Clasroom Research). The subjects in this study were 17 students of class III SD. Instruments and data collection techniques used in the research cycle 1 and cycle 2 are observation of student learning activities, teacher teaching observations, test questions and documentation. In Cycle I, the results of observing student learning activities obtained 75% in the good category, the results of observing teacher teaching obtained 77.7% in the good category and the results of observing student learning using the role playing model in cycle 1 obtained an average of 76.64% in the category good. In cycle II the results of observing student learning activities obtained 90% in the very good category, the results of observing teacher teaching obtained 88.8% in the very good category and the results of observing student learning using the role playing model in cycle 2 obtained an average of 94.12% in the very good category . There was an increase in student learning outcomes of 17.65% in cycle II, from 76.64% in cycle 1 to 94.12% in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the use of role playing models can improve student learning outcomes on the theme of loving plants and animals in class III of SD An-Najwa

Abstract

This study is a quantitative pre-experimental study that aims to determine the significant effect of using Spinning Wheel media on Indonesian language learning outcomes in grade V of SD Negeri 125 Karampue, North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency. This study uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The variables in this study are Spinning Wheel media (independent variable) and Indonesian language learning outcomes (dependent variable). The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 125 Karampue, totaling 21 students, with a sampling technique using saturated sampling. The research data were obtained using a test instrument to determine students' Indonesian language learning outcomes before and after using Spinning Wheel media. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Based on the descriptive statistical analysis, the average pretest score of 50 was in the less category while the average posttest score of 73.5 was in the good category. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance level of 5%. From the data results obtained tcount (9.118) (>) ttable (2.08596). Thus, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted, it can be concluded that the Spinning Wheel media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language at SD Negeri 125 Karampue, Sinjai Utara District, Sinjai Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media aplikasi canva terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa Kelas V SD Inpres 10/73 Mappesangka. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group PretestPostest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V Inpres 10/73 Mappesangka dengan sampel sebanyak 20 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebelum dan setelah perlakuan media aplikasi canva. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata pretest 72,50 sedangkan rata-rata posstest 79,75. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung - 12.704 > ttabel 1.72472. Jadi thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan media aplikasi canva terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa V SD Inpres 10/73 Mappesangka Kecamatan Ponre Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the experimental method, specifically using hydroponic techniques, in improving student learning outcomes in primary school science education. A quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test measures was employed, involving two groups of sixth-grade students from MI NU Tamrinut Thullab Undaan Kudus, Indonesia. The experimental group engaged in hands-on hydroponic activities, while the control group received traditional lecture-based instruction. The results indicate a significant improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores (M = 89.31) compared to the control group (M = 74.33), with statistical analysis revealing a t-value of 5.85 (p < 0.05). Qualitative feedback from students further supports these findings, as they reported increased motivation and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through the experimental method. This study highlights the potential of inquiry-based, hands-on learning to enhance student engagement and performance, especially in resource-limited educational settings. The findings suggest that integrating experimental methods into the science curriculum can significantly improve learning outcomes and should be considered in future educational reforms. However, the study's limitations, including a small sample size, indicate the need for further research to replicate these findings in diverse contexts.

Abstract

Indonesia has implemented the 2013 curriculum as a text-based learning framework. The text is used as a defender of science. The logical consequence, language skills are an absolute requirement for students so that they can achieve learning goals. On the other hand, writing is the highest skill in the language. Therefore, the study was aimed to describe the explanatory writing skills of fifth-grade elementary students. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using a sample of fifth-grade students in public elementary schools in the city of Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection techniques using documents and interviews. Source triangulation is used as data validity. The results showed that the greatest difficulty students had in writing explanations was writing cohesive and coherent sentences and paragraphs. They are only able to write their ideas without regard to syntactic rules. These writing skills involve students' metacognitive skills which also reflect other language skills such as listening and reading. This research output will be useful for academics and practitioners in determining the right learning approach to improve the success of text-based learning or the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi aktif peserta didik hiperaktif di kelas 1 Fase A sekolah dasar, yang sering menunjukkan kesulitan dalam mempertahankan fokus, mengikuti instruksi, dan berinteraksi selama pembelajaran. Kondisi ini menghambat pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan menciptakan kesenjangan antara potensi dan kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran adaptasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik hiperaktif pada topik gotong royong. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini melibatkan 21 peserta didik kelas 1B SDN 007 Samarinda Ulu, dengan satu peserta didik teridentifikasi hiperaktif sebagai subjek utama. Objek penelitian ini adalah implementasi adaptasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan tingkat partisipasi peserta didik hiperaktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan rekan sejawat. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi data untuk memastikan keabsahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, melalui penyesuaian konten, proses, dan produk, secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik hiperaktif. Peningkatan terlihat dari fokus perhatian, keterlibatan kelompok, kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas, dan kontrol impulsif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang adaptif untuk memfasilitasi kebutuhan belajar yang beragam di kelas inklusif, khususnya bagi peserta didik hiperaktif, sehingga mendorong partisipasi dan kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Jenis penelitian yaitu Pre-eksperimen dengan jenis One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Variabel bebas adalah strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity dan variabel terikat adalah kemampuan menulis narasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SDN 20 Totakka Kabupaten Soppeng berjumlah 125 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling dengan sampel siswa kelas V berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deksriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebelum menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity rata-rata pretest siswa 58,39 berada pada kategori sedang dan setelah menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity rata-rata posttest siswa meningkat menjadi 84,11 berada pada kategori sangat baik (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SDN 20 Totakka Kabupaten Soppeng.
