Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang membaca sabetan/gerak wayang bayangan pada pertunjukan wayang kulit bayangan dalam babak adegan ‘Gara-Gara’ tentang pendidikan karakter , dengan menggunakan bahasa rupa sebagai keilmuan. Temuan penelitian ini yang berupa kosakata ‘gerak’ sebagai gagasan untuk kekaryaan seni rupa kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan m etode kualitatif dengan pendekatan keilmuan bahasa rupa untuk menjawab pertanyaan tentang aspek bercerita pada tiap ‘gerak’ wayang. Bahasan khusus bahasa rupa ditekankan pada aspek bercerita, bukan pada kaidah estetis dan makna simbolik. Keilmuan b ahasa rupa , merupakan keilmuan yang menggunakan bahasa gambar untuk membaca gambar-gambar yang sudah ada dan sudah tercipta . Bahasa gambar tersebut, diungkapkan dalam bentuk bayangan wayang pada layar, melalui sinar lampu yang disebut blencong. Analisis gambarnya adalah aspek ‘gerak’ dari bayangan wayang hasil sabetan dalang. Penelitian ini merupakan usaha dalam menjawab pertanyaan, dengan  membaca gambar pada gerak wayang hasil permainan sabetan dari dalang, yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan karakter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Wayang Kulit bayangan yang berupa hasil sabetan dalang, dengan menggunakan pembacaan gambar melalui rekaman video, dalam bentuk pembagian scene by scene pada babak adegan Gara-gara  yang kemudian dapat terbaca perilaku tokoh-tokohnya, yang dapat dipakai untuk mempelajari karakter baik dan buruk, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pendidikan karakter sebagai manusia yang sanggup bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

Double Track is the implementation of teaching and learning activities in its implementation referring to providing skills for high school students who do not continue to college.This research aims to describe the implementation of character education at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong, describe the implementation of the Double Track Program at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong, and analyze the implementation of students' creative character through the Double Track Program at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The research subjects were Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Public Relations, religion teachers, PPKn teachers, Double Track Program administrators/facilitators, Double Track trainers, and students taking part in the Double Track Program. Validity of data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis with mechanisms for data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research reveal that the implementation of character education at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong has been implemented well, namely through teaching and learning activities in each subject. Apart from being taught character education, students are also provided with skills, namely through the Double Track Program. The implementation of the Double Track Program at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong Mojokerto has gone according to plan. Implementation is carried out according to a pre-arranged schedule. This form of implementing students' creative character through the Double Track Program is carried out when the Double Track Program training is in progress.

Abstract

Islamic student boarding school (pesantren) an institution that operates in the fields of religion, education, and society, has recently received a sharp focus on issues of religious radicalism and terrorism. Pesantren has long been an institution that has an important contribution to participate in the intellectual life of the Indonesian nation. This study aims to analyze the leadership model in student boarding schools that can counteract the growth and development of religious radicalism movements in Indonesia. This research was phenomenological qualitative research that took place in three student boarding schools in Java, Indonesia. The three student boarding schools were the Al-Hikam Student Islamic Boarding School in Malang City, the Al-Jihad Student Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya, and the Budi Mulia Student Islamic Boarding School in Sleman Yogyakarta. Sources of data used included boarding school administrators, students, and alumni, as well as documents and archives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, document searches, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Data analysis was carried out phenomenologically with a systematic procedure. The research findings show that the leadership models in the three student boarding schools generally have similarities even though each pesantren has its characteristics. The leadership model in the three student Islamic boarding schools includes democratic leadership, which is managed in a systematic, open, collegial, and decentralized manner with many individuals who do not fully rely on charisma and are not completely paternalistic. This democratic leadership model has proven to be effective in countering religious radicalism movements in student boarding schools in particular and in society in general.

Abstract

Students at the Senior High School (SMA) level are generally faced with conditions that still require assistance from teachers in terms of character education in order to be able to determine appropriate attitudes and behavior according to norms. On this basis, it is inevitable that character education will continue to be strengthened in educational units. The aim of the research is to develop the character of MAJU (Independent, Active, Honest and Tenacious) in the Intensive Cadet Development High School (ITP) Surabaya. The type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. There are five stages of the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation, which are used to develop the MAJU character. The research subjects were 10 subject teachers at ITP High School, and the research location was ITP High School Surabaya. The research instrument uses observation sheets, data collection techniques using observation and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the MAJU character (Independent, Active, Honest and Tenacious) can be practiced and implemented by Subject Teachers at SMA ITP Surabaya, with the results of direct observation assessment of subject teachers with an average score of 85 which is interpreted as development the MAJU character is feasible and can be applied at SMA ITP Surabaya. The conclusion from the research results is that MAJU character development at SMA ITP Surabaya can be applied in strengthening the character of students at SMA ITP Surabaya.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a country whose population adheres to various religions, faces a high risk of religious intolerance. As an effort to address conflicts rooted in religious intolerance, it is necessary to foster an attitude of religious moderation based on the principles of justice, balance, and tolerance. One way to implement the principles of religious moderation is through Civics education for students. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the principles of religious moderation in Civic learning for Grade X students at SMAN 4 Blitar. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that the implementation of the principles of religious moderation in Civics learning for Grade X students at SMAN 4 Blitar is carried out throughout various learning processes. The principles of justice and balance are applied in student grouping activities as well as in the assessment stage. Meanwhile, discussion activities using the jigsaw learning method serve as the main activity in applying the principles of religious moderation in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Blitar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership character formed through the activities of the Student Organization (OSIS) at SMA Negeri 4 Blitar. The background of this research stems from the importance of building leadership character among the younger generation so that they can face the challenges of the times. As a student organization, OSIS plays a strategic role in instilling leadership values such as responsibility, independence, teamwork, integrity, and a sense of nationalism. To achieve this goal, the study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of documentation. The results of the study show that various programs implemented by OSIS, such as leadership training, class meetings, and both academic and non-academic competitions, effectively contribute to shaping students' leadership character. The study concludes that active student involvement in OSIS activities plays a crucial role in the development of leadership character within the school environment.

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing an identity crisis that is seen from the fading values ​​such as the spirit of struggle, togetherness or mutual cooperation, concern, and unity. This study aims to describe how the value of mutual cooperation is applied between members of the management in the "Segar" Waste Bank program in Bendogerit Village, Sanawetan District, Blitar City. This study uses a qualitative method with interview, observation, and documentation techniques involving the chairman, vice chairman, secretary, and two members of the waste bank management. The data collected were analyzed by summarizing information, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. To ensure data accuracy, a comparison was made between the results of interviews, observations, and documentation so that the research results were more reliable.The results of the study show that: (1) Voluntary and responsible, seen from the active involvement of the management in collecting and sorting waste together. (2) The spirit of mutual assistance, seen in cooperation between members in carrying out waste bank activities, including dividing tasks and helping each other when facing difficulties. (3) Strengthening unity and togetherness in social life and the community environment, which is seen from the increasingly close social relations between residents. By working together in sorting waste, residents become more familiar and united. They also learn to respect each other's opinions and find solutions together when differences occur. This study proves that members of the "Segar" Waste Bank management in Bendogerit Village have implemented mutual cooperation values ​​in carrying out the activity process, by prioritizing cooperation, responsibility, and concern for the environment and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Implementation of the fourth principle of Pancasila in scouting activities has an important role in shaping the character of students. The fourth principle of Pancasila teaches students to apply the principles of democracy, deliberation and wise leadership. This study seeks to explain how the values of Pancasila are applied in practice people which is guided by wisdom in deliberation and representation in scouting activities at Anharul Ulum Islamic Vocational School, Kademangan District. This study employs a qualitative approach utilizing descriptive methods. Data were obtained through interviews and observations and documentation involving Scout leaders, the Standing Council, and class X TO 1 students. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that scouting activities at Anharul Ulum Islamic Vocational School have succeeded in implementing the fourth principle value through consensus deliberation, leadership training, discipline in decision making, and cooperation in mutual cooperation. However, there are still obstacles in optimizing student participation in deliberations and awareness of the importance of wisdom in leadership. In conclusion, scouting is an effective forum for instilling the values of democracy and togetherness, so there is a need for further support from the school to increase the implementation of Pancasila values in extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Rokat Tase' is a tradition carried out by the Madurese people which is also called basic rokat. In general, Rokat Tase' is practiced by fishermen and is associated with religious values ​​and religious rituals with the intention of being a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the blessings of safety and good fortune received. This research aims to determine the process of implementing the Rokat Tase' ritual, the values ​​developed in the Rokat Tase' ritual process in the development of religious values ​​and social values. This research is a type of qualitative research conducted in Branta Village, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency. Data sources were obtained from local community leaders, then supported by village documents and archives. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that Rokat Tase' takes place once a year and the performance is adjusted to the tides. The series of events for the Rokat Tase' Ceremony include chanting and praying together, making and decorating miniature boats, sailing on the sea and entertainment events. The values ​​developed during the implementation process are social values, religious values ​​and traditional values. Rokat Tase' plays a role in developing religious and social values ​​by optimizing the field of education in coordination with nature and routinely implemented in community traditions.

Abstract

Indonesia's unemployment rate is expected to hit 7.99 million in February 2023. Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students is one way the Indonesian education system proposes to address this, with the goal of developing the next generation of creative and innovative thinkers. This study aims to provide an overview of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project's implementation of creative character development, character education, and character education through the program in the field of entrepreneurship at SMPN 2 Dawarblandong. A qualitative descriptive research methodology was employed in this study. Interviews, observation, recording, and questionnaires are some of the methods used in data collecting. The study's participants were the principal of SMPN 2 Dawarblandong, a teacher in the school's curriculum department, the supervisor of SMPN 2 Dawarblandong's Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, and grade VII students. Triangulation of sources and methodologies is used to ensure the veracity of this data. Data gathering, data reduction, data presentation, and verification procedures are all used in data analysis, which is qualitative analysis. The findings showed that character education was being implemented at SMPN 2 Dawarblandong even prior to the creation of the Independent Curriculum, and that it recommenced following the adoption of the Ministry of Education and Culture for Research and Technology Number 162/M/2021 Decree. The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project's co-curricular entrepreneurship-themed activities are one way that character education is put into practice. Two aspects of character"”creative and gotong-royong"”from the Pancasila Student Profile are used in the entrepreneurship-themed Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project. During the project, both dimensions can be appropriately implemented
