Abstract

Ciputri Village, located in Pacet Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency, possesses promising natural tourism potential. However, this potential has not been optimally promoted due to the lack of adequate digital infrastructure, particularly in leveraging web-based platforms for tourism information dissemination. One of the key issues is the limited utilization of information technology, especially the absence of a village website integrated with location-based features. Additionally, the lack of technical skills among village officials and local residents in managing and maintaining web systems has hindered efforts to develop digital tourism strategies. In response to these challenges, a community service program initiated by LLDIKTI Region 3 and carried out by a team from Universitas Mercubuana, Universitas Pertamina, and Akademi Maritim Djadajat conducted a series of socialization and training activities. These activities aimed to introduce, train, and enhance the digital capabilities of village officials and residents through location-based website development and management. The program included a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to identify local needs, hands-on technical workshops, and feedback sessions to assess participants’ understanding. This initiative is expected to build digital competence in Ciputri Village and serve as a foundation for transforming it into a smart tourism village empowered by information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, profitability, and leverage on firm value, with firm size as a moderator. High firm value will send a positive signal to investors. This quantitative study uses 165 observational data obtained from the financial statements of non-cyclical consumer sector companies (2019-2023). This research tests eight hypotheses using panel data regression involving firm size as a moderating variable (Moderated Regression Analysis–MRA). The results show that institutional ownership and leverage (DER) have no effect on firm value. Meanwhile, managerial ownership shows a positive effect on firm value, and profitability (ROE) shows a negative effect on firm value. Furthermore, in testing the moderation model, the firm size variable weakens the effect of institutional ownership on firm value. This interaction effect is not apparent in testing managerial ownership (MAN), profitability (ROE), and leverage (DER) on firm value (PBV). Other findings indicate that firm size in the study does not act as a pure moderator, but rather as a quasi-moderator.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of ESG Risk Rating, profitability, and growth opportunity on firm value. Given the ongoing debates surrounding ESG research in Indonesia, a more in-depth examination is required. The researcher has developed three econometric models to test six hypotheses related to this issue. This research is distinct from previous studies as it proposes an integrated model incorporating firm size as a moderating variable. The estimation model was tested using moderated regression analysis (MRA), with data comprising 240 observations over the period 2019-2024. The analysis results indicate that ESG Risk Rating in Indonesia does not have a significant impact on firm value. However, profitability and growth opportunity exhibit a significant positive effect on firm value. Further, the interaction model analysis reveals that firm size moderates the relationship between growth opportunity and firm value. These findings suggest that, at present, ESG Risk Rating information in Indonesia is not considered relevant by investors in assessing corporate performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR), public ownership, and firm size on firm value, with financial performance as a mediating variable, focusing on companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). ISR serves as a crucial indicator for measuring corporate compliance with Sharia principles, encompassing social and environmental aspects. Research combining ISR with public ownership and firm size mediated by financial performance remains relatively rare in Indonesia. The study observes companies included in the JII, utilizing annual financial report data from 2019 to 2023. Path analysis is used to examine the relationships between variables through 10 research hypotheses. The analysis results indicate that ISR and public ownership (KPP) do not influence firm value (Tobin’s Q, TBQ). Meanwhile, firm size (SIZ) negatively affects financial performance (KJK) and TBQ. In the second model test, KJK appears to positively affect TBQ, while ISR shows a negative effect on TBQ. Furthermore, the Sobel test results reveal that KJK can only mediates the effect of SIZ on TBQ. Mediation effects of KJK on TBQ are not observed for ISR and KPP. These findings confirm that ISR directly affects TBQ. The negative impact of ISR needs further investigation, as it is inconsistent with theoretical concepts.

Abstract

Abstract

This research was motivated by students who found it difficult to connect theory with real-life applications in solving problems. This results in a lack of motivation and interest in solving problems and reduces their ability to apply the concepts they have learned. This problem occurs because the learning strategy used by the teacher is not centered on students by directly involving them in proving a theory being studied and connecting it contextually in everyday life. So to solve this problem, it is necessary to use the right strategy through problem-based learning, which invites students to find problems that are close to their lives. This research aims to improve problem-solving skills through an experiment-based PBL model. This research uses classroom action research using a pre-cycle and two research cycles. In the precycle, the results of diagnostic tests showed that students' problem solving was 33% complete. It shows that it has not met the completeness category of 50% of the number of students. So cycle 1 was carried out using an experimental-based PBL model, which showed problem-solving completeness results of 39%. In cycle 1, there has been an increase, but it is not significant and does not meet the specified category of completeness. So it is necessary to implement cycle 2 with improvements to the treatment and modification of the worksheets used. In cycle 2, the problem-solving completeness category was achieved, namely 82% of the total number of students. From these results, it can be shown that the experimentalbased PBL model can improve students' problem-solving skills.
