Abstract

One of the sectors affected by technological developments is the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector, especially in the marketing process. Social media can be utilized by MSME actors as a promotional medium. However, in the midst of technological advances, there are limitations on the UMKM players of kelakai chips in Terantang Village, Mandastana District, Barito Kuala Regency, especially related to how to brand and promote products through social media. The solution encouraged by the service team is a socialization program on the potential and marketing of kelakai chips through e-commerce and social media. The aim is to invite the community to strengthen MSMEs through online marketing so that they can reach more enthusiasts (consumers). The program is implemented through activities: 1) Socialization; 2) Marketing class; and, 3) Product photography class. The targets of the program are kelakai chips MSME players and the Terantang Village community, especially mothers. This program was able to strengthen the spirit and entrepreneurial spirit of the kelakai chips MSME players and the Terantang Village community. The benefits of this program are that the kelakai chips MSME players have an unlimited mindset and the ability to promote their processed products, so as to increase the income and welfare of their families and surrounding communities. The achievements of this program will have implications for the ability of MSMEs in Terantang Village to survive in running their businesses. After the implementation of the program, the service team gained various knowledge on how to help market community products that have limited technological knowledge.

Abstract

The property and real estate sector has faced significant challenges in recent years, particularly due to the Covid-19 pandemic and rising interest rates. These conditions have impacted corporate financing decisions, especially capital structure. This study aims to examine the effect of tangible assets, sales growth, and business risk on capital structure among property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A quantitative approach was used, employing secondary data derived from annual financial reports for the period 2019–2023. To meet the classical assumption requirements and enhance data normality, capital structure data was transformed using a square root, and the data series was differenced, resulting in a final sample of 176 firm-year observations from 44 companies selected via purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using panel data regression with the common effect model, supported by classical assumption tests. The findings reveal that business risk has a significant negative effect on capital structure, while tangible assets and sales growth have no significant influence. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect capital structure. These results imply that firms with high business risk tend to be more cautious in utilizing debt, aligning with the trade-off theory. Conversely, tangible assets and sales growth do not necessarily determine capital structure decisions in the observed sector.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh kelompok kuliah kerja nyata merupakan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun, yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh beberapa kelompok mahasiswa dari beberapa jurusan yang ada di Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini telah dilaksanakan mulai pada tanggal 15 agustus 2021 di Desa Banjar Guntung, dalam hal ini telah dilakukan berbagai bentuk komunikasi antara mahasiswa dengan masyarakat, sedangkan sifat kegiatan ini bersifat perintis dengan hasil sangat baik karena terjalin komunikasi dua arah antara mahasiswa dengan masyarakat desa Banjar Guntung. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi dibiyayai oleh sumbangsih pribadi. pengetahuan masyarakat yang didapat oleh masyarakat adalah pengetahuan tentang pendidikan keagamaan, kesehatan, dan pelatihan Usaha Mikro di masa pandemi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu bertambahnya pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Banjar Guntung khususnya anak-anak dalam bidang keagamaan, dan juga membentuk kesadaran masyarakat dalam mejaga kesehatan serta membuat masyarakat berfikir membentuk dan menjalankan kegiatan Usaha Mikro yang tentunya berguna di saat pandemi covid-19 sekarang ini untuk menggerakkan roda perekonomian sehingga menambah pendapatan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the drill to drill method to improve the writing skills of class VIII SMP IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu students. The sample for this research was 19 students in class VIII in the control class and 20 students in the experimental class in class VIII of SMP IT An-Nafis Teluk Mengkudu, which was determined using random sampling. The method used in this research is an experiment with a Two-Group-Pre-test and Post-test research design. From data analysis, the average score (pre-test) of the control class was 61.35789 and (post-test) of the control class was 68.20526, while the average score (pre-test) of the experimental class was 60.8 and (post-test) of the experimental class was 85.85. Before the hypothesis test was carried out, prerequisite analysis tests were carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, the normality test results were L_count < L_tabel (0.15073 < 0.381) and the homogeneity test results were So Fcount < Ftable, namely 0.187 < 2.18. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the post-test data for the control class and experimental class were normally distributed and homogeneous. Thus, it can be concluded that because t count > t table, namely 2,292 > 1,687, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This proves that there is a significant influence of the drill to drill method in improving students' writing skills.

Abstract

Penilaian esai secara manual menghadapi kendala inkonsistensi, subjektivitas, dan keterbatasan waktu, terutama pada pembelajaran berskala besar. Penelitian ini membandingkan tiga pendekatan representasi teks pada sistem penilaian esai otomatis berbasis kecerdasan buatan, yaitu Bag of Words (BoW), Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), dan Transformer (IndoBERT). Dataset yang digunakan berasal dari Kaggle Learning Agency Lab Automated Essay Scoring 2.0 yang terdiri atas 17.207 esai berbahasa Inggris dan diterjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia menggunakan model Helsinki-NLP opus-mt-en-id. Tahap prapemrosesan meliputi case folding, pembersihan teks, penghapusan stopword, dan stemming menggunakan pustaka Sastrawi. Metode BoW dan TF-IDF dipadukan dengan Support Vector Regression, sedangkan pendekatan Transformer menggunakan fine-tuning IndoBERT. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan metrik Quadratic Weighted Kappa (QWK). Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa IndoBERT mencapai performa tertinggi dengan nilai QWK sebesar 0,7842, diikuti TF-IDF sebesar 0,6521 dan BoW sebesar 0,6103. Meskipun Transformer unggul dari sisi akurasi, metode klasik tetap relevan untuk implementasi dengan keterbatasan sumber daya komputasi karena efisiensi waktu dan kompleksitas yang lebih rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemilihan metode penilaian otomatis yang disesuaikan dengan konteks kebutuhan dan infrastruktur pendidikan.

Abstract

This study determined and described the effect of audiovisual learning media and learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of Grade VII students at public junior high schools (SMP) in Sako District, Palembang. The research sample consisted of 61 Grade VII students from two schools: SMP Mandiri Palembang (29 students) and SMP Binatama Palembang (32 students). Sampling techniques included total sampling and cluster random sampling. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires featuring a 5-point Likert scale to measure 60 statement items, alongside a final assignment comprising 30 questions. The data analysis technique employed was simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that: 1) There is a significant influence of audiovisual learning media on the science learning outcomes of Grade VII students. 2) There is a significant influence of learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of Grade VII students. 3) Collectively, audiovisual learning media and learning motivation significantly influence the science learning outcomes of Grade VII students at the studied schools in Sako District, Palembang. The findings suggest that educators and institutions should consider integrating audiovisual media into their teaching strategies and actively work to enhance student learning motivation to improve science learning outcomes in junior high school settings. This study contributes to the existing literature by simultaneously examining the combined and individual effects of audiovisual learning media and learning motivation on science learning outcomes within a specific Indonesian educational context. It provides empirical evidence supporting the importance of both technological tools and psychological factors in achieving better academic performance.

Abstract

Perpustakaan adalah suatu tempat bagi para mahasiswa untuk dapat memperoleh akses terhadap informasi dan pengetahuan. Perpustakaan merupakan fasilitas pendukung proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Dengan fasilitas perpustakaan, para mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan kreativitas dan imajinasi mereka. Perpustakaan Politeknik Pos Indonesia sudah sangat baik dari segi keteknologiannya. Mahasiswa dapat meminjam buku, mengembalikan buku, memperpanjang buku, mencari buku dengan mengunjungi rak-rak yang ada di perpustakaan, dan juga mahasiswa dapat mencari buku di komputer. Namun, permasalahan yang terjadi adalah di perpustakaan hanya tersedia beberapa komputer yang telah tersistem sehingga mahasiswa yang ingin mencari buku dengan komputer harus antri dengan mahasiswa lainnya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem untuk dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam hal mencari buku, meminjam buku, dan memperpanjang buku. Line Library merupakan aplikasi perpustakaan berbasis android dengan menggunakan Line. Aplikasi ini digunakan untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam melakukan pencarian buku, meminjam buku, mengembalikan buku, dan memperpanjang buku di Perpustakaan. Dengan bantuan alat yaitu iBeacon yang terintegrasi dengan Line, yang akan memberikan notifikasi pada smartphone mahasiswa bahwa mahasiswa sedang berada di rak sekian dengan bantuan bluetooth. Sehingga, mahasiswa dapat melihat buku-buku pada rak tersebut melalui aplikasi Line. Mahasiswa juga dapat meminjam buku di aplikasi Line. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Line Library akan berisi data buku-buku pada rak tertentu, sehingga mahasiswa dapat melihat daftar buku tanpa harus mencari di rak. Mahasiswa juga dapat melakukan peminjaman buku, pengembalian buku, dan memperpanjang buku. Sehingga, memudahkan mahasiswa tanpa harus mengantri dengan mahasiswa lainnya untuk menggunakan komputer yang ada di perpustakaan.

Abstract

This qualitative case study investigates vocational teachers' perceptions of artificial intelligence and computational thinking integration in Indonesian secondary education. Seven vocational high school teachers from West Java Province participated through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis following artificial intelligence training. The study employed an interactive analysis model to examine teachers' attitudes, concerns, and implementation strategies regarding artificial intelligence in educational contexts. Findings reveal positive teacher perceptions of artificial intelligence as a learning support tool, with applications ranging from creative media production to technical programming assistance. However, significant ethical and pedagogical concerns emerged, including academic integrity challenges, potential student dependency, inadequate prompt engineering skills, and risks of learning dehumanization. Teachers developed sophisticated guidance strategies, positioning artificial intelligence as a verification tool while maintaining human agency in learning processes. Supporting factors included personal initiative and professional learning communities, while barriers encompassed limited infrastructure, absence of formal guidelines, and varied digital competencies. The research contributes to understanding artificial intelligence adoption challenges in Indonesian vocational education and provides insights for implementing artificial intelligence skills curriculum policy. Results of the research are: (1) educators acknowledge significant advantages of AI integration, especially in improving technical learning experiences and promoting innovative educational endeavors, the integration of AI and computational thinking in the learning process must also prioritize the appropriate pattern aspects and requires clear guidance from stakeholders so that it can be implemented in the learning process; (2)  ethical and pedagogical issues arise as significant obstacles, encompassing abuses of academic integrity, threats of student dependency, insufficient prompt engineering skills, and the potential dehumanization of learning experiences; (3) educators demonstrate significant adaptability by formulating advanced guiding systems that utilize AI as a verification and support mechanism while maintaining human agency in educational decision-making.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common menstrual disorders experienced by adolescent girls and often reduces their activity and quality of life. Menstrual pain can be treated with non-pharmacological therapies, one of which is consuming warm lemongrass tea, which contains essential oils that have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This study aims to apply warm lemongrass tea therapy in reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girls using an application. The research design used a case study with a qualitative approach. There were two participants in this study, both adolescent girls at SMAN 05 Kota Bengkulu who experienced moderate menstrual pain (4–6). Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and physical examinations over three days. The intervention provided was warm lemongrass tea accompanied by self-care education based on Orem's concept, which includes universal self-care requirements, developmental self-care requirements, and health deviation. The results showed a decrease in pain intensity in both respondents after receiving warm lemongrass tea therapy. Respondents were also able to understand how to make and use lemongrass tea as an independent effort to reduce menstrual pain. This intervention proved to be effective as a non-pharmacological complementary therapy and was in line with the application of Orem's theory in increasing adolescent self-care independence.

Abstract

Karya Tari “Samber Yang Layang” adalah karya tari yang terinspirasi dari motif gerak Samber Melayang yang terdapat di dalam tari Sigeh Punguten. Arti dari judul Samber Yang Layang adalah Samber diambil dari nama motif gerak Samber Melayang yaitu gerak yang menjadi landasan dalam menciptakan karya tari ini, sedangkan Layang diambil dari kata Melayang, yang artinya sesuatu yang sudah terbang jauh pada titik awal ia berada, jadi Samber Yang Layang adalah karya tari yang terinspirasi dari motif gerak Lampung Samber Melayang, motif gerak tersebut di kembangkan esensinya sehingga terlihat jauh pada  gerak aslinya.Penata tari mengamati motif gerak Samber Melayang, terdapat esensi gerak seperti membuka, menutup, sempit, menyilang, lurus dan melengkung. Esensi gerak Samber Melayang merangsang idesional penata dalam menciptakan sebuah karya tari yang berdasarkan esensi gerak tersebut. Karya tari ini bersifat non literal, dan menggunakan tiga penari wanita. Jumlah tiga penari merupakan tiga titik dalam motif gerak samber melayang yang seperti membentuk segitiga (seperti sesuatu yang saling berhubungan atau bersifat penghubung).Karya tari ini merupakan karya tari koreografi kelompok, ditarikan oleh tiga penari wanita. karya tari ini bersifat non literal.
