Abstract

Pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan guru matematika dalam mengajar guna meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika salah satunya adalah pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) yang menggunakan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Efektifitas penerapan pendekatan RME dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs N 3 Buton Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Kelas VII 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji t dua sampel bebas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) pada pretest memiliki memiliki nilai rata-rata 2,87 dan pada posttest memiliki nilai rata-rata 65,96. 2) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran langsung pada pretest memiliki memiliki nilai rata-rata 2,32 pada posttest memiliki nilai rata-rata 38,84. 3) Penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada pembelajaran matematika lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran langsung dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa jika dilihat berdasarkan capaian rata-rata nilai posttest hasil belajar.

Abstract

This quantitative research examines the influence of psychological factors such as interest, motivation, and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes during online learning, using the causal research design. Data were analyzed using generalized linear models. The population consisted of all Grade VIII students at a public junior high school at Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, totaling 273 students. A sample of 73 students was selected using a cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that only the variable of interest in learning mathematics had a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes at a significance level of 5%. The findings indicate that as students' interest in learning increases, their mathematics learning outcomes improve by 0.56 points. In contrast, learning motivation and learning independence did not significantly affect students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Implementation is an action or implementation of something that has been prepared carefully. What will be implemented in this study is the mathematical concept contained in traditional text-press games in the learning process. The purpose of conducting this research is to to know the increase in mathematics learning outcomes for class VII students at MTsN 2 Konawe Selatan by implementing mathematical concepts in traditional text-press games in the learning process. The research was conducted in class VII B MTsN 2 Konawe Selatan which was taken using purposive sampling with the consideration that there were many students who had played tek-tekan. Data collection methods consist of observation, and tests. Test scores derived from students' pre-test and post look for the value of the difference or N-Gain then do a hypothesis test using one sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after the implementation of mathematical concepts in traditional text-press games in the material learning process compared to the results of hypothesis testing, namely and with a Sig (2-tailed) value of. In addition, from the N-Gain value it is known that there was an increase in the high category by 6 students (33.33%), the medium category by 9 students (50%), and the low category by 3 students (16.66%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah (KPM), Pengetahuan Dasar Matematika (PDM) siswa dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan pengetahuan dasar matematika siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan nilai tes soal pemecahan masalah berdasarkan pengetahuan dasar matematika sebanyak 9 subjek, yaitu subjek dari PDM rendah, sedang, tinggi dan KPM rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah (KPM) siswa masih dalam kategori sedang. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena siswa tidak menguasai indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Pengetahuan Dasar Matematis (PDM) siswa masih dalam kategori sedang. Hal tersebut disebabkan masih banyak siswa  yang tidak menguasai materi khususnya pada pengoperasian penjumlahan, perkalian, dan pembagian, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan pengetahuan dasar matematis siswa masih tergolong sedang. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh siswa yang cenderung melewatkan  indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan pengetahuan pemecahan masalah yang masih tergolong kategori sedang juga mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematikanya. Tujuan yang lainnya sebagai informasi kepada pihak sekolah sehingga dapat di manfaatkan untuk perbaikan sekolah.

Abstract

Disruption of study concentration has an impact on the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. This research aims to find out the level of concentration of fifth grade elementary school students, to determine their learning outcomes, and to figure out the effect of concentration levels on the mathematics learning outcomes of the students. This research is a quantitative research using survey method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students at one of the public elementary schools in Kendari as many as 147 students. The sample in this study was 60 students who were determined by proportional random sampling technique which then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that the percentage of data on students’ concentration in the mathematics learning process was in the high category with an average value of 88,63. The percentage of students’ mathematics learning outcomes variable data is 33.33% with an average value of 81.86. Students’ learning concentration significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at one of the public elementary schools in Kendari. Based on value of Tcount is greater than T table (7,342 > 1,671). The learning concentration contributes of 48,2% to the variable student mathematics learning outcomes.Keywords: Study concentration, mathematics learning outcomes, elementary school

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at a public school in Konawe District. This research employs a qualitative method. The study involves 12 student participants selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection includes tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that 8.3% of students have high and moderate problem-solving abilities, while 83.4% have low problem-solving abilities. In terms of understanding the problem, students with high and moderate abilities demonstrate adequate understanding, although they struggle with determining the final answer accurately. On the other hand, students with low problem-solving abilities only write down what they know. Errors in solving mathematical problem-solving abilities are mainly found in the process of devising a mathematical problem-solving plan. Additionally, during the reviewing stage, students do not conduct thorough and accurate reviews. The level of mathematical problem-solving abilities is influenced by the lack of practice in solving story problems related to fractions and integers.Keywords: Integers, mathematics, problem solving ability

Abstract

Research on the development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with Islamic values is motivated by the absence of LKPD that integrates Islamic values in the mathematics learning process and the low interest in learning MTs Asy-Syafi'iyah Kendari students. This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective LKPD. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The results showed that the LKPD integrated with Islamic values was very valid to be used in the learning process based on the results of the validity by material experts of 3.73 (very valid) and the results of the validity of religious experts at 3.07 (valid). LKPD is also very practical to use in the learning process at MTs Asy-syafi'iyah Kendari based on assessing teacher responses and student responses. The effectiveness of LKPD can be seen from the students' mathematics learning outcomes, where the results show that there are differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII MTs Asy-Syafi'iyah Kendari before and after LKPD is used in the learning process, based on the results of the Wilcoxon test with a significance value of 0.018.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a multidimensional instrument that will measure the interest in mathematics among Indonesian adolescents (aged 12-21 years). The developed instrument must meet psychometric standards in terms of content, construct, and concurrent validity. This instrument is called the “Skala Minat Matematika Remaja” (SMMR). The existence of SMMR is important because: (1) it is based on a validated structure and content of interest in the literature, (2) it accommodates the measurement of interest during adolescence, and (3) it specifically measures mathematics interest, which will be useful in the mathematics learning process. Three sample groups were taken from secondary school to university level to complete the SMMR instrument. A quantitative approach was used to test three types of validity. Construct validity was tested using exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) resulted in a 20-item SMMR with four dimensions (engagement, knowledge, emotions, and value) that explained 58% of the total variance. This indicates that the selected items can effectively explain the four dimensions of interest. Furthermore, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) on the third sample group confirmed that SMMR is suitable for application among different groups of adolescents. SMMR scores showed a significant negative relationship between interest and age. This relationship indicates that SMMR has good concurrent validity.

Abstract

The background of this research is the teaching of aqidah morals which is not yet appropriate in the formation of student behavior at MTs Labibia, Kendari City. This research aims to find out: 1) Aqidah Akhlak learning at MTs Labibia, Kendari City. 2) Knowing the behavior of students at MTs Labibia, Kendari City. 3) Knowing the effect of learning aqidah morals on student behavior at MTs Labibia, Kendari City. This research is a quantitative research using survey method. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling, the number of samples used was 83 students. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential analysis. From the results of the study showed 1) learning aqidah morals at MTs Labibia has an average of 73 with a minus category percentage of 34%. 2) student behavior at MTs Labibia has an average of 127 with an enough category of 42%. 3) there is an effect of learning aqidah morals on student behavior at MTs Labibia with a significant value of 0.00 <0.05 with a contribution of 11.1%, so it can be concluded that variable X affects variable Y.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi statistik ditinjau dari pengetahuan dasar matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 264 siswa dari 9 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, diperoleh sampel 65 siswa dari 3 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur pengetahun dasar matematika dan tes essay untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi statistik siswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah siswa dengan pengetahuan dasar matematika tinggi mampu mencapai indikator menyajikan data dan menginterpretasikan data, siswa dengan pengetahuan dasar matematika sedang  mampu mencapai indikator menginterpretasikan data, siswa dengan pengetahuan dasar matematika rendah belum mampu mencapai semua indikator kemampuan literasi statistik.
