Abstract

This study is motivated by the low performance of martabak micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sukabumi City which is allegedly caused by weak market orientation, lack of appropriate innovation, and low operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of market orientation, innovation, and operational efficiency on business performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal descriptive method. The entire population of 149 businesses was sampled using saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, after testing validity, reliability, and classical assumption test. Data processing used SPSS V.25 software application. The result showed that market orientation and operational efficiency had a positive and significant effect on business performance, while innovation had a negative and significant negative effect. This finding indicates that business actors have not been able to implement relevant and targeted innovation according to market needs. Therefore, it is necessary to increase understanding of the market, optimize efficiency in operational processes, and design more contextual innovative strategies so that business performance increases and business competitiveness is maintained in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of strategic planning, innovation, and corporate culture on the performance of  SMEs in the meatball culinary sector in Sukabumi City. The main problem raised in this study is the low performance of SMEs caused by weak strategic planning, lack of innovation, and corporate culture that has not been optimally formed. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive causal method. The sample in this study consists of 156 meatball SMEs actors in Sukabumi City, selected using simple random sampling from a population of 255 business units. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, after undergoing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Data processing was conducted using SPSS V.26 software. The results of the study indicate that strategic planning, innovation, and corporate culture have a positive and significant impact on SMEs performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that these three variables play a crucial role in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs. Consequently, it is recommended that SMEs operators consistently develop business strategies, innovate in their products, and foster a positive work culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial perceptions on entrepreneurial interest with self-efficacy as a mediating variable in final year undergraduate students in Sukabumi City. Quantitative approach was used with survey method through questionnaires to 180 students from various universities. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results showed that entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial perceptions have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Self-efficacy also proved to play a significant mediating role in strengthening the relationship between the independent variables and entrepreneurial interest. This finding confirms the importance of increasing knowledge capacity and positive perceptions of entrepreneurship, supported by self-efficacy in encouraging students' intention to become entrepreneurs. This research provides practical implications for higher education institutions in designing entrepreneurship programs that are able to foster entrepreneurial interest from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Digital Transformation, Differentiation Strategy, and Innovation Capability on Competitive Advantage in beverage MSMEs in Sukabumi City. The respondents in this study were 100 beverage MSMEs in Sukabumi City. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive and associative approach. The statistical tests used in this study included simultaneous testing (F-test) and partial testing (t-test). The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant simultaneous influence of Digital Transformation, Differentiation Strategy, and Innovation Capability on Competitive Advantage, as evidenced by the F-count value of 13,416 > F-table 3,096. Partially, Digital Transformation does not have a significant positive effect on Competitive Advantage, as shown by the t-count value of 1.152 with a significant value of 0.252 > 0.05. Meanwhile, Differentiation Strategy has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage, which is proven by the t-count value of 4.312 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, Innovation Capability also has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage, with a t-count value of 2.891 and a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05.

Abstract

Unemployment is considered a common problem in all countries. This can happen because of the increasing population or because people are not motivated to create their own jobs. Students have an active role in creating jobs and should have the motivation to become entrepreneurs. If these students have the motivation to develop their business and have a mindset about entrepreneurship, it can enable this generation to overcome concerns, by being ready to face challenges or risks that will be faced in the future in carrying out entrepreneurial activities. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurship motivation and risk taking propensity on students' intentions to become entrepreneurs. This research was conducted on students in the city of Sukabumi with a total of 240 students as respondents. The multiple linear regression analysis approach was used as a method for this research. The results of the study can be obtained based on SPSS calculations and research showing that entrepreneurial mindset has a positive and significant effect on students' intentions to become entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship Motivation has a positive and significant effect on students' intentions to become entrepreneurs. Risk taking propensity has a positive and significant effect on students' intentions to become entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was conducted to determine the effect of religiosity and halal products on the decision to choose cosmetics on muslim consumer. The variables in this research are Religiosity (X1), Halal Products (X2) and Purchase Decisions (Y). The research usesnon probability sampling techniques with the type of purposive sampling. Analysis of the data research is multiple linear regression. Primary data collection techniques applied by distributing questionnaires to 97 muslim women. The results of the research shows the coefficient determination obtained an R square value of 0,781 or 78,1% on the purchase decision (Y), and the remaining value is 21,9% another factor that is not examined in this study. Based on the results of hypothesis shows a religiosity variable has a significant influence on the purchase decision, and the halal product variable has a significant on the purchase decision. Keywords: Religiosity, Halal Product, Purchase Decision Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh religiusitas dan produk halal terhadap keputusan memilih kosmetik pada konsumen Muslim. Variabel pada penelitian ini yaitu Religiusitas (X1), Produk Halal (X2) dan Keputusan Memilih (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling“sampel bertujuan”. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.Teknik pengumpulan data primer diperoleh dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 97 responden muslimah. Hasil penelitian dengan uji deteminasi memperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,781 atau 78,1% yang menunjukkan variabel independen yaitu religiusitas (X1) dan produk halal (X2) memberikan pengaruh sebesar 78,1% terhadap keputusan memilih (Y), dan perolehan sisa nilai sebesar 21,9% merupakan faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa, variabel religiusitas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih, dan variabel produk halal memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih. Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of the entrepreneurial competence variable and the business network variable on the competitive advantage variable in dry cake MSMEs in the city of Sukabumi. The research method used in this research is a descriptive, associative research method using a quantitative approach. The population in this research are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector of the pastry sector spread across several sub-districts in the city of Sukabumi. The population members in this study were 50 members who were registered with the Sukabumi City Diskoperindag (industry and trade cooperative service) for the 2021/2023 period, using a method, namely nonprobability sampling with a saturated sampling type. Using IBM SPSS Version 22 software, as a data analysis technique tool. The results of this research show that all hypotheses are accepted, and it can be interpreted that there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurial competence and business networks increasing, so competitive advantage will also increase.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence occupational health and safety (K3), work discipline has on the performance of PT employees. Bank Sinarmas Sukabumi City. The 40 respondents in this research were employees of PT. Bank Sinarmas Sukabumi City. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive and associative approaches. In the research, a normality test, a simultaneous statistical test (F test) and a partial statistical test (T test) were carried out. The results of the research show that there is a simultaneous positive influence between occupational health and safety (K3), work discipline and employee performance, with a result of 16,539 > 3.25, which means the calculated F value is greater than F Table. Meanwhile, partially, occupational health and safety (K3) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is proven by the value obtained from the T Calculation results, which is 2,021, which is greater than the T Table, which is 1,684, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. And work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is proven by the value obtained from the T Calculation results, which is 5,747, which is greater than the T Table, which is 1,684, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine organizational commitment and compensation on the work productivity of PT employees. Ideal Sukabumi Light Facility. This research uses associative descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling technique, namely the entire population is sampled, so that there are 74 PT employees. Ideal Sarana Cahaya Sukabumi was used as a respondent. The data analysis techniques used are validity, reliability, then classical assumption tests, multiple correlation coefficients, correlation coefficients of determination, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing consisting of simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test) and partial hypothesis testing (T test). The results of this research are, the F test shows that organizational commitment and compensation together have a significant effect on work productivity with an F value of 18,948 > F table 3,126. Then, the T test results of organizational commitment on work productivity with a calculated T value of 2,269 > T table 1,993 show that organizational commitment has an effect on work productivity, and the results of the compensation T test on work productivity with a calculated T value of 3,309 > T table 1,993 show that there is an influence from compensation to work productivity

Abstract

Culinary restaurant UMKM is one of the leading sectors in Indonesia that has great potential. However, currently the contribution given to the economy in Indonesia is decreasing. One of the factors causing this problem is due to declining performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial competence, entrepreneurial spirit, and business capital on business success. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive associative approach. The population in this study was 91 Restaurant UMKM in Sukabumi City with a sample framework using purposive sampling techniques. This study uses SPSS for data processing and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a negative influence between entrepreneurial competence and business success. Entrepreneurial spirit has a positive and significant effect on business success. And business capital has a positive and significant effect on business success.
