Abstract

Teachers as human resources in schools have demands that the implementation and work-life balance and flexible work arrangement can be balanced and minimize work stress. The implementation of online learning systems that can make teachers do work-life balance and flexible work arrangements should be able to reduce stress and increase job satisfaction. But the reality in the field is that many teachers do not get job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to analyze the description and effect of work-life balance, flexible work arrangement, job satisfaction and job stress. The object of this research is the State Senior High School PNS Teachers in Pematang Siantar City who have been certified as many as 168 people. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient and determination and hypothesis testing. The test was carried out using the SPSS Statistic version 20 program. The results showed are Jjb satisfaction, work-life balance, flexible work arrangement and work stress were in the answers with the criteria of agree/satisfied. The practice of flexible work arrangements affects work-life balance. The results of the regression have a positive influence between each variable. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis obtained a strong and positive relationship. The results of hypothesis testing show a positive and significant effect. Work stress variable is not a moderating variable. It is concluded that the application of work-life balance and flexible work arrangements can increase job satisfaction and work stress is a debilitating variable.

Abstract

Urgensi dilakukanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan tema penyuluhan pemanfaatan digital marketing sebagai alternatif pemasaran 4.0 bagi pelaku UKM Ulos di Kota Pematangsiantar ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai digital marketing serta pelatihan penerapan digital marketing menggunakan platform E-Commerce. Metode yang di gunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu melalui ceramah dan praktik langsung penerapan digital marketing. Tahapan pelaksanaan acara ini meliputi pembukaan dan pengenalan digital marketing, pemaparan tentang digital marketing, pemaparan tentang beberapa masalah yang sering dihadapi pelaku UKM Ulos, kemudian dilanjutkan praktik yang berkaitan dengan digital marketing. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian selesai, maka dilakukan wawancara lanjutan mengenai dampak pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian. Sesuai dengan hasil wawancara diketahui pemahaman pelaku UKM Ulos terkait pemanfaatan digital meningkat 90%.

Abstract

Factors that encourage job satisfaction include the application of transformational leadership from a leader in the company. The existence of cultural diversity also contributes to the level of employee job satisfaction. Then the implementation of organizational commitment is also essential to increase employee satisfaction at work. This study deals with the antecedents and consequences of employee work satisfaction, including transformational leadership, culture diversity, and organizational commitment as antecedents and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance as a consequence. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed to 280 employees who worked in cigarette factories and tapioca flour factories in Pematangsiantar City. For data analysis, this research uses the Smart PLS application with the PLS-SEM approach oriented. This research concludes that transformational leadership and culture diversity has a significant impact on work satisfaction. On the other hand, the results of this research also conclude that organizational commitment does not significantly impact work satisfaction. Furthermore, this research also confirms that work satisfaction significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance. Then this study was only carried out in one city so that no specific data comparison could be obtained and only focused on the use of transformational leadership variables, culture diversity, work satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and employee performance. The novelty presented from this research explains that although most employees have different cultural backgrounds if supported by a fair and wise application of transformational leadership, it will encourage job satisfaction.

Abstract

In order to maximize work-life balance, minimize work stress, and utilize teachers as human resources, flexible work arrangements must be implemented. It is intended that the adoption of online learning platforms will lessen stress and boost job satisfaction by requiring teachers to practice work-life balance and flexible scheduling. But in practice, a lot of teachers do not even feel satisfied in their positions. This study aims to examine the relationship between work-life balance, stress at work, and job satisfaction as well as the impact of these factors on job satisfaction. This study focuses on the 168 State High School Civil Servants Teachers in Pematang Siantar City who received their certifications using a proportional random sample technique and normality-based data analysis. The SPSS Statistic version 20 program was used to run the test. The findings demonstrated that the answers met the criteria for job satisfaction, work-life balance, and work stress. The analysis of the correlation coefficient produced strong and favorable results. The results of the hypothesis testing revealed that, during the COVID 19 pandemic, Senior High School Teachers in Pematang Siantar City's work-life balance and work stress have a favorable and significant impact on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, integrity, and internal communication on organizational performance at STMi Marsada. The method used in this study is quantitative, with data processing using SPSS software version 26. The results of the path analysis show that leadership style (X1) has a significant influence on internal communication (Y), with a coefficient of determination of 19.0%. However, integrity (X2) does not show a significant influence on internal communication. In addition, the influence of leadership style (X1), integrity (X2), and internal communication (Y) on organizational performance (Z) shows that only the integrity variable has a significant influence on organizational performance, with a p-value of 0.028. The results of the Sobeli test confirm that the influence of leadership style on internal communication through organizational performance is significant, while the influence of integrity is not significant. Overall, this study reveals that leadership style and internal communication have an important role in improving organizational performance, although the contribution of integrity is relatively limited.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of quick ratio (QR) and long term debt to equity ratio (LtDER) on tobacco in cable companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this study is the cable sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2018. Sampling with a purposive sampling method, obtained as many as 5 companies to be sampled. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. The results of the quick ratio (QR) research have a negative effect while the long term to debt ratio (LtDER) has a positive effect on tobacco in the Cable Sub Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. This shows that the higher the quick ratio will decrease Tobins'q and the higher the long term debt to equity ratio will increase the Tobins'q obtained.

Abstract

This research aims to build a model for strengthening employee engagement in the creative industry by examining the role of self-efficacy and perceived organizational support as the main predictors. This research uses quantitative methods to survey employees in various creative industry sectors in Indonesia. The population in this study comprises creative sector industry workers, and the population size is unknown. In this research, researchers used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 130 employees. The data analysis method used is based on regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 23 program. The results of the data analysis conclude that self-efficacy and perceived organizational support have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. The results of this research can provide theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management in the creative industries. These findings are expected to show that self-efficacy and perceived organizational support significantly influence employee engagement and can be a basis for companies to design more effective employee management strategies.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini dapat diringkas sebagai berikut: 1. persepsi pelanggan yang baik, kepuasan pelanggan yang baik, dan loyalitas pelanggan yang tinggi; 2. hasil analisis regresi adalah Z = 13.598 + 0,981X, artinya terdapat pengaruh positif antara persepsi pelanggan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan Y = 13.017 + 0,954Z artinya terdapat pengaruh positif antara kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan; 3. hasil analisis korelasi mendapatkan nilai r = 0,640, artinya terdapat hubungan yang cukup tinggi antara persepsi pelanggan dengan kepuasan pelanggan dan r = 0,763, artinya terdapat hubungan yang cukup tinggi antara kepuasan pelanggan dengan loyalitas pelanggan. Tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dapat dijelaskan oleh persepsi pelanggan sebesar 41,0% dan tingkat loyalitas pelanggan dapat dijelaskan oleh kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 58,2%; 4. hasil pengujian hipotesis H0 ditolak, artinya persepsi pelanggan memiliki berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan dengan kepuasan pelanggan sebagai variabel intervening.Kata kunci: Persepsi Pelanggan, Kepuasan Pelanggan, Loyalitas Pelanggan

Abstract

Riset ini untuk mengetahui gambaran OCB, karakteristik individu, dan kinerja pegawai pada kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar serta bagaimana pengaruh OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai pada kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar baik secara simultan dan parsial. Riset ini menggunakan desain riset kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Populasi pada riset ini pegawai kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar berjumlah 30 pegawai. Data yang dipakai merupakan data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil riset membuktikan ada pengaruh positif antara OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai serta ada hubungan yang kuat antara OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar.Kata kunci: OCB, Karakteristik Individu, Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Akuntansi Pertanggungjawaban Terhadap Kinerja Manajerial Pada Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtauli Pematangsiantar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif  kuantitatif, populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh Karyawan Perusahaan Daerah  Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtauli Pematangsiantar, lalu sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel nonprobability. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 56 (lima puluh enam) orang pada bagian manajerial. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner, teknik analisis data yang digunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear sederhana, uji hipotesis, koefesien korelasi, dan koefesien determinasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Akuntansi pertanggungjawaban berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja manajerial Pada Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtauli Pematangsiantar, semakin baik penerapan akuntansi pertanggungjawaban akan semakin meningkatkan kinerja manajerial.Kata kunci: Akuntansi Pertanggungjawaban, Kinerja Manajerial
