Abstract

This study explores the influence of communication and counseling guidance on bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Barat. Bullying cases in this school are still quite high, with around 60% of students reporting having experienced or witnessed bullying. This study used quantitative and qualitative approaches, with a purposively selected sample of 30 students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that good communication between teachers and students significantly reduced the incidence of bullying. Students with good communication only experienced 5 cases of bullying, while students with poor communication experienced 4 cases out of a total of 5 students. In addition, counseling guidance proved to be effective in dealing with students' emotional problems, although limited human resources were the main obstacle in its implementation. This study emphasizes the importance of effective communication and adequate counseling services as strategies to reduce bullying behavior in schools. The findings are expected to be the basis for better policy formulation in creating a safe and comfortable school environment for all students.

Abstract

Latar belakang Kesuksesan suatu lembaga atau institusi dalam menegakkan disiplin di antara para pegawainya, terutama dalam hal kehadiran dan patuh pada jam kerja dengan menggunakan sistem absensi berbasis sidik jari, sangat bergantung pada seberapa tinggi tingkat pengabdian, kesadaran, dan tanggung jawab pegawai terhadap tugas yang mereka emban. Setiap pegawai diharapkan memahami dan menyadari sepenuhnya kewajiban serta tanggung jawab mereka, serta bersedia dengan sukarela untuk mematuhi aturan dan regulasi yang berlaku di tempat kerja mereka. Pencatatan absensi pegawai menjadi faktor krusial dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM). Informasi yang akurat dan terperinci tentang kehadiran seorang pegawai memiliki dampak besar terhadap penilaian kinerja individu, penentuan gaji atau upah, produktivitas, dan kemajuan keseluruhan institusi atau lembaga. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan objek penelitian berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang ada. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas kerja pegawai mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya sistem absensi berbasis sidik jari. Implementasi ini memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan, terutama dalam hal penggunaan. Sistem absensi berbasis sidik jari dianggap efektif karena meminimalkan hambatan bagi seluruh pegawai. Meskipun menggunakan teknologi sidik jari, sistem ini masih membutuhkan penggunaan kertas seperti pada absensi manual. Namun, hal ini tidak mengurangi efisiensi karena data dari absensi sidik jari direkapitulasi dengan baik tanpa mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Kesimpulan: Lebih lanjut, penggunaan sistem ini juga memberikan jaminan keakuratan data kehadiran pegawai yang tidak dapat dimanipulasi, serta memastikan informasi dan laporan yang disampaikan kepada pimpinan sesuai dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya.

Abstract

Perkembangan dalam dunia bisnis seiring berjalannya waktumaka terciptanya suatu perkembangan yang begitu pesat dari berbagai macam aspek. Pengusaha harus berusaha untuk mempertahankan posisi dalam persaingan pesat yang sedang berlangsung di era globalisasi. Fenomena perkembangan pesat yang sering terjadi dalam dunia bisnis tercermin pada suatu tindakan untuk mempertahankan kualitas mutu suatu produk yang berkualitas, sehingga pengusaha dapat mempertahankan permintaan dan kepuasan pelanggan atau konsumen dimana salah satu jaminan mutu ialah pemberian label halal pada produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Responden adalah karyawan dan konsumen UD. Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli tepatnya di Desa Miga berbelanja dan menikmati produk dari UD.Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli sebanyak 40 orang dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket, kemudian melakukan uji validitas data, uji reliabilitas data, uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas), uji regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis (uji t, uji f, dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh Quality Assurance terhadap Jumlah Permintaan Produk Di UD.Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli dapat dilihat dari nilai hasil Uji t yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Quality Assurance yang baik akan meningkatkan permintaan produk. Kata Kunci: Quality Assurance, Permintaan Produk, Label Halal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource policies to improve the quality of employee performance at the Population Control, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection Service of Gunungsitoli City. The research focuses on three main objectives: (1) to determine the form of human resource policies implemented to improve performance quality, (2) to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these policies, and (3) to formulate appropriate strategies to improve employee performance. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implemented human resource policies include training and competency development, performance assessment based on work indicators, and a reward system and work discipline. Supporting factors for the implementation of these policies include leadership support, active employee participation, and the availability of a training budget. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as a lack of professional human resources, limited supporting facilities and infrastructure, and low work motivation among some employees. The strategies implemented to improve performance quality include strengthening supervision, developing a collaborative work culture, improving the quality of training, and regular evaluation of policy implementation. This study concludes that appropriate and consistent human resource policies play a crucial role in building more optimal employee performance within the service environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of distribution quality and service on customer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia in Gunungsitoli City. This study is descriptive quantitative in nature, involving a series of processes from data collection, processing, to data interpretation through the application of equations to produce an accurate depiction of the researched conditions based on the obtained data. Based on the analysis using SPSS version 24 software, the results indicate a significant influence of distribution quality and service on customer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia in Gunungsitoli City, with a significance value (sig) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, and a contribution of 33%. The findings of this research are expected to encourage sustainable improvements in the distribution system and service quality, thereby realizing customer loyalty and supporting the company's competitiveness against other competitors.

Abstract

The work environment plays an important role in determining employee productivity, especially in the public sector which is oriented towards community service. A conducive work environment—both physically and non-physically—can increase enthusiasm, concentration, and performance, while unsupportive conditions have the potential to reduce productivity and increase stress. This study aims to: (1) describe the working environment conditions at the Moro’o Subdistrict Office in West Nias Regency, (2) identify factors that affect employee productivity, and (3) analyse the relationship between the physical and non-physical working environment and employee productivity. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the physical work environment still faced several obstacles, particularly related to uneven lighting, suboptimal air quality and ventilation, cramped and disorderly room layout, and noise during busy service hours. In contrast, the non-physical work environment is relatively strong, characterised by supportive leader-subordinate relationships, open communication, and harmonious cooperation among colleagues. The interaction between physical limitations and non-physical strengths simultaneously affects the comfort, efficiency, and productivity of employees in providing services to the community

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the implementation and impact of mutations at the Lolofitu Moisub-district office, employee career development and factors inhibiting employee career developmentat the Lolofitu Moi sub-district office. It was found that several employees had held the same positionfor a long time without any transfer or promotion in recent years. This could lead to boredom becausethey were stuck in the same routine and did not experience adequate career development. This research uses qualitative research methods, conducting in-depth interviews with employees at the Lolofitu Moi District Office. The results of the research show that the implementation of transfers at the Lolfitu Moi sub-district office is still not effective, where there are still several employees who have not been transferred in the last few years. The implementation of the transfer has had a positive impact on employees at the Lolofitu Moi sub-district office. Employee career development at the Lolfitu Moi sub-district office involves strategies, namely performance evaluation, training, transfers and promotions. However, there are several obstacles, namely limitations in training and promotion opportunities which depend on agency policies and quotas.
