Abstract

Work Life Balance was one factors could influence employee’s performance. Conflicts between work and personal life could increase stress levels which could reduce employee morale, causing decreased job satisfaction which triggered employee intentions to leave. Turnover Intention (TI) was often associated with Organizational Commitment (OC) and Work Life Balance (WLB). Study aims to determine the influence of WLB on TI through OC as intervening variable on nursing employees in one private hospital in Tangerang. This causality research with quantitative approach, carried out one stage through the Survey method. The population as well as sample of 79 nurses and midwives as saturated sample. Through path analysis, WLB has significant positive influence on TI. WLB has significant positive influence on OC, OC doesn’t directly influence on TI, WLB and OC together have significant positive influence on TI, and OC isn’t intervening variable between WLB and TI. This situation is assumed due to the demographic factors’ majority young respondents under 25 years old, and high level of need for nurses around hospital. Managerial implications, Hospital management needs to reduce TI with variety of Human Resources management programs, including selective recruitment, creating conducive work atmosphere and identifying other factors that influence the increasing TI.

Repurchase intention in hospital services is the tendency of customers to take advantage of hospital services again in the future. This study uses a quantitative method with a covariant-based Structural Equation Model (SEM) causal research design, namely AMOS. This study used a sample of 300 hair calculations for outpatients in internal medicine polyclinics. Research results: E-WoM has a significant positive effect on repurchase intentions through patient trust based on the results of measuring CR values using SEM with the help of the Sobel test. Based on the results of the study, the implications of this study indicate the magnitude of the influence of E-WOM and brand image through patient trust which can increase repurchase intentions, marked by changes in the hospital tariff system and relationship marketing in utilizing repurchase intentions

This study aims to analyze the relationship between individual factors, work stress, and work conflict partially and simultaneously with work life balance in government hospitals and private hospitals. This research uses explanatory causality quantitative analysis research method with SPSS quantitative method. Calculation of the sample using non purposive sampling as many as 200. The independent variables of this study are individual factors, work stress, and work conflict, while work life balance is the dependent variable. The study used a questionnaire as a research instrument with a 5-level Likert scale measurement. The data were analyzed by correlation analysis and regression through Multiple Linear Regression. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a negative and significant relationship between individual factors, work stress, and work conflict with work life balance in Government Hospitals and Private Hospitals, either partially or simultaneously. The suggestion from the researcher is that future researchers are expected to be able to analyze research related to work life balance and use the Structure Equation Model to see the direct and indirect effects of each predictor. In addition, the next research adds an intervening/mediation variable to find out further the effect on work life balance

Abstract

AbstractCoronary Heart Disease (CHD) is mostly happened complication and major death cause on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The case occurs more than 4-5 times causing death on DM compared to non-DM. CHD on T2DM is influenced by various risk factors, among which Framingham Score components. This research is intended to assess Framingham components as risk factors for CHD in T2DM. This research is analytical type by cross sectional research design, performed in RSUD Budhi Asih Jakarta. Total sample is 132 T2DM patients of more than 10 years with the disease, uses sample collection with the technique of consecutive sampling. From 132 researched samples, 105 persons (79.5%) aged ≥ 55 years, 85 persons (64.3%) with risky total cholesterol, 58 persons (43.9%) with low-HDL, 96 persons (72.7%) with high blood pressure, 18 persons (13.6%) smokers and 72 persons (54.5%) with CHD. Bivariate test using chi-square by α=0,05, which haves influence over CHD in T2DM is age (p=0.041), total cholesterol (p=0.032), HDL (p=0.010). While without-influence is blood pressure (p=0.301), and smoking (p=0.547). Multivariate test using logistic regression showing that mostly influential variable is high total cholesterol (p=0.010, OR=3.512). The conclusion, risk factors which influence CHD on T2DM are age, total cholesterol, HDL. While non influential factors are blood pressure, smoking. The most influential factor is high total cholesterol. Keywords : coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus, framingham score AbstrakPenyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) adalah komplikasi terbanyak dan penyebab kematian utama pada diabetes melitus tipe 2 (DM.2).
