Abstract

The adaptation and innovation of the healthcare business strategy during the pandemic and new normal is needed now, for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) which are engaged in Internet Service Providers (ISP) especially in running their business in pandemic also face the future challenging. This study aims to prove that virtualization technology planning, virtualization technology adaptability, and server consolidation services have a positive effect on healthcare management and business, such as operational costs with an impact on more efficient of healthcare small and medium enterprises (SMEs) Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Indonesia. The data were taken from distributing questionnaires to 77 company representative respondents with the positions of IT Manager, IT Supervisor, and CIO. Data were analyzed by SEM using Smart PLS. The results of the research obtained prove that the operational cost effectiveness of Data Center management is influenced by planning, adaptability, and application of virtualization technology for 5.0. SMES ISPs in Indonesia healthcare sector need to pay attention to new result of planning, adaptability, and implementation of server consolidation services as a determinant of operational and cost effectiveness related to business objectives and management in managing a Data Center in the pandemic, new normal and future challenges.

Abstract

Work engagement is major concern for human resource management at XYZ Hospital Tangerang in order to improve performance of nursing profession. This study aims to study the effect of perceived organizational support and organizational justice on work engagement with intermediary factors of organizational trust. Quantitative associative research was conducted on 96 nurses in the hospital. XYZ Tangerang in March 2021, with primary data obtained by survey. The research instruments used are Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), The Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS), Measures of Trust, Trustworthines, and Performance Appraisal Perceptions, and Organizational Justice Survey. The data analysis method used is Path Analysis. The results of this study found that there was a significant positive effect of perceived organizational support on work engagement through organizational trust as an intermediary factor and a significant positive effect of organizational justice on work engagement through organizational trust as an intermediary factor, as well as a positive influence of organizational trust on work engagement. It was also found that the positive effect of perceived organizational support and organizational justice on organizational trust was found. Thus increasing organizational trust, perceived organizational support, and organizational justice will increase nursing work engagement.

Abstract

The increasing number of hospitals built by both private and government parties requires a hospital to be ready to compete both in competing with domestic hospitals and in competing with international hospitals. This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing activities, brand awareness of RSIA X on the brand loyalty of outpatients in the midwifery section with brand image as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach, survey methods and correlation techniques with a non-experimental design using a cross-sectional study approach with a sample of 160 patients who are outpatient in the obstetrics department of RSIA X and become a follower in social media accounts of RSIA X. Social media marketing activities, brand awareness are independent variables. Brand image is an intervening variable and brand loyalty is a dependent variable. This study uses a questionnaire using a Likert scale while testing data analysis using SEM. The results showed a social media marketing and brand awareness had a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty mediated by brand image.

Abstract

The dynamic state of society and the economy is sufficient, and the ease of access to information also influences patients’ choice of health care providers. The delivery of information between patients has a strong influence on the determination of the choice of service facilities that provide health services, due to service satisfaction and loyalty felt by the patients themselves, which will lead to the desire or intention to choose and reuse services in the hospital. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of effective communication, patient loyalty, Word of Mouth on the intention to return to the Tangerang District General Hospital. A total of 105 patients were included in this quantitative study. Structural Equation Modelling analysis tool with Path Analysis statistical test was used in this study. The results showed that the effective communication between doctor and patient has a significant positive effect on patient loyalty. The influence of Word of mouth has direct impact on the intention to visit the hospital. Without word of mouth, effective communication and patient loyalty towards the wish to return to the hospital are possible.

Abstract

The number of internet users in Indonesia has increased every year reached 18.9% of 171.17 million Indonesians have accessed social media services. Social media is known to be a place for effective and efficient promotion. Thus, the one of clinics namely Lasik Clinic is operating in the field of Lasik surgery. Founded in 2017, only less than 20% of new patients knew the clinic through social media. Social media marketing (SMM) is a marketing process through social media platforms. Brand awareness (BA) is the ability of customers to remember a brand. Brand loyalty (BL) is a measure of the customer's relationship to a brand. Social media marketing is known to increase BA and BL. Thus, in this study study aims to analyze the effect of SMM on BA and BL of the clinic. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires on 100 patients and families which is the data performed validity and reliability tests. Here, data analysis was processed using the SEM LISREL method. The results of the data description obtained SMM, BA, BL on the questionnaire included in the high category with each value 82.14%, 81.87%, and 84.73%. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant influence between SMM on BA (T = 5.13) and BL (T = 4.74) which was in accordance with some previous studies whereas BA had no significant effect on BL (T = 1.72) which not in accordance with previous research. This may be caused by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The present study is for achieve also improving the education and information provided to hiv-aids cadre and patients. The existence of patients with hiv-aids is one of the communities that is difficult to reach, so health cadres and volunteers should have the ability to prevent hiv-aids and related health knowledge, which should be above average. The main and most important task of health cadres and or volunteers is to reach community groups with high health risks, and difficult to find by health workers. This study aims to gradually increase the capacity of health management skills, especially healthcare interpersonal speaking speech for volunteers and health cadres. The research was conducted using the method or approach of capacity building and PRA (Participatory Rapid Appraissal). Mentoring activities that have been carried out for 3 consecutive years in August 2019, September-October 2020, and October 2021 during the covid-19 pandemic. This activity was attended by more than 20 cadres, health volunteers, and administrators from the NGO Jakarta Plus Center (JPC) Foundation, both Jakarta in 2019-2020 and Cirebon in 2021. The training time during capacity building was about 1 hour for each topic, with presentations, simulations and role plays. in field assistance in 2020 and 2021 for a full day. The method of measuring understanding and knowledge is done by pre-test and post-test, before and after the activity. The results of the research show that although there is a statistically significant difference between participants knowledge during the initial test and at the end of the training, the data shows an improvement in participants' knowledge in mentoring and outreach activities. It is necessary to follow up research activities in the following years in the form of research on more detailed field assistance on disaster management, special community communication field education for the empowerment of volunteers and cadres at the JPC Foundation during the pandemic and preparations after it.

Abstract

The increasing number of hospitals in Indonesia which are managed by the government and the private sector demands to provide the maximum level of service, professionalism and competence to reflect the best service quality. Quality provides a special impetus for companies to understand customer expectations which in turn can increase customer satisfaction and create customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the relationship between service quality and patient loyalty. Methods: This study was structured using a quantitative approach with a cross sectional method. The sample in this study were patients who had registered for an appointment at a specialist outpatient unit at the outpatient unit of RS X South Jakarta with a total of 100 people based on inclusion criteria. Data collection techniques are carried out using questionnaires or questionnaires to reveal information or data from respondents. Data analysis was performed statistically univariate and bivariate. Multivariate analysis for hypothesis testing was performed using path analysis. Data is presented in p-value and C.R. (Critical Ratio). Results: The results showed that out of 100 subjects, 60% were male, 83% had a bachelor's degree and 70% were private employees. From the bivariate analysis related to patient loyalty at the eye specialist Hospital X South Jakarta, the waiting time variable has no significant effect on the loyalty variable (CR (Critical Ratio) the value is less than 2.0 and the P value (p-value) is greater than the significance level. (α) of 0.05), the value of interpersonal communication (CR (Critical Ratio) is more than 2.0 and the P value is smaller than the significance level (α) of 0.05), employee performance (CR (Critical Ratio) is greater than 2.0 and the P value (P-Value) is smaller than the significance level (α) of 0.05, the service facility value (CR (Critical Ratio) is more than 2.0 and the P value is less than the significance level (a) of 0.05) has a positive and significant effect on the loyalty variable. Conclusion: Patient loyalty at specialist Hospital X South Jakarta is influenced by interpersonal communication, employee performance and service facilities but is not affected by waiting time.

Abstract

Inefficient planning and control of drug supplies, apart from causing shortages or excess stocks, can also lead to inefficiency in hospital operating costs. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Minimum-Maximum Stock Level (MMSL) method on the efficiency and effectiveness of drug supply in the Pharmacy Installation of RSU. Sanggau Medical Center. The sample group of class A antibiotics from the ABC consumption method as many as 22 types of drugs were taken purposively from retrospective data from January - June 2021, and applied the MMSL method prospectively in October - December 2021. Data analysis was carried out on inventory values, month-stock, and ITOR (Inventory Turn Over Ratio) before and after the application of the MMSL method using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test.The results of statistical tests showed the effect of applying the MMSL method to the month-stock ratio of the antibiotic group before the intervention was 2.87 and after the intervention was 2.03 with a p value of 0.021 (p <0.05). While the ITOR value before the intervention was 13.73 times/year and after the intervention was 19.16 times/year with p value = 0.006 (p<0.05). Although it did not show a significant difference in the inventory value of the antibiotic group between before the intervention (Rp. 62,497,441,) - and after the intervention (Rp. 54,072,358,-), with p value = 0.236 (p>0.05), but shows an efficiency of 13.48%. The application of the MMSL method has a positive impact on increasing the efficiency of drug control in hospitals by decreasing the inventory value and month-stock ratio, as well as increasing ITOR

Abstract

The present study reports the comprehensive study on the exclusive breastfeeding around support factors for successful activityof breastfeeding. In the three years lately UNICEF and WHO data on exclusive breastfeeding can reduce infant morbidity and mortality by more than 80%. The coverage of infants who are exclusively breastfed is 65.35%, the highest percentage is in West Nusa Tenggara 80.35% and the lowest percentage is in Papua 18.32%. In Indonesia, there are 35.25% of 38% of children who are sick because they cannot receive exclusive breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding is given when the baby is born until the age of 6 months. This study aims to determine knowledge, work and family support related to exclusive breastfeeding behavior in the work area of ​​near with the RSIA PBH hospital in Lampung, Indonesia area in 2021. Using a cross sectional, a large sample of 120 respondents. Sampling in this study used a simple random sampling technique, and the chi-square test was carried out from January to August 2021. The results of the study were 95 respondents (79,16%) mothers who did not give exclusive breastfeeding and 25 respondents (20.84%) mothers who have exclusively breastfed their babies. There is a significant relationship between knowledge (P = 0.000 and PR = 1.588), occupation (P = 0.000 and PR = 1.995) and family support (P = 0.001 and PR = 1.514) with exclusive breastfeeding behavior in the patients inside hospital work area in 2021. The paper presents the characterization support from the company, hospital and the closest family for exclusive breastfeeding is also very important. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that health workers make innovations and new programs to increase exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

The present study reports the first comprehensive study about agility, adaptation, and rebuilt the business in new era after covid-19 in Indonesia. Business resilience is very important to achieve the rise of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), because of their important role in the national economy. Most business organizations in Indonesia have experienced disruption caused by the covid-19 pandemic, not a few have ended up bankrupt and unable to survive. Businessmen as well as marketers need to manage marketing activities that are adaptive and flexible according to the potential of MSMEs through agile marketing. This research aims to formulate a framework for business revival during and after a crisis like covid-19. This research is expected to provide insights into effective marketing division procedures for business organizations in dealing with business disruptions. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study to obtain an overview of the situation experienced by SMEs. Data collection methods used by way of interviews, observation, and documentation, by using purposive sampling method in selecting research sources. Methods of source triangulation and technique triangulation were used in this study to ensure data validation. The data sources for this research are five MSME actors (owners). The results of this study indicate that agile, adaptation, optimization of company business and marketing can be used as solutions to deal with business disruptions in the new normal era. It is hoped in the future that MSMEs can restore their business conditions slowly and be able to revive after the pandemic
