Abstract

Patient referral intention is an important indicator of hospital sustainability and competitiveness. This study aimed to analyze the influence of complaint response quality, hospital image, and perceived value on referral intention at a Type C public hospital in Jakarta. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed using a survey of patients who had received healthcare services at the hospital. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The results showed that complaint response quality had a significant positive effect on both hospital image and perceived value. Patients who perceived complaint handling as responsive, fair, and effective tended to develop a more favorable image of the hospital and higher perceived value. Furthermore, hospital image and perceived value significantly influenced referral intention. Among the variables examined, hospital image demonstrated the strongest effect on patients’ willingness to revisit and recommend the hospital to others. The findings also indicated that perceived value partially mediated the relationship between complaint response quality and referral intention.These results suggest that improving complaint management, strengthening a positive hospital image, and enhancing patient value perceptions are essential strategies for increasing referral intention. Hospital managers should prioritize responsive complaint handling and continuous service quality improvement to build patient trust and loyalty. This study contributes to healthcare management literature by providing empirical evidence on factors affecting referral intention in public hospital services.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the ASEAN countries with a high maternal mortality rate, partly due to postpartum depression. Postpartum depression has a more severe impact than baby blues, with a recovery period of up to six months. During the postpartum period, women often experience fatigue, fluctuations in appetite, mood swings, sleep disturbances, and physical discomfort due to cesarean section or normal delivery. Support such as adequate rest, healthy nutrition, and attention from partners and the environment are essential. Not only mothers, fathers also have the potential to experience postpartum depression. Risk factors include bipolar disorder, family history of depression, drug abuse, difficulty breastfeeding, and young pregnancy. Therefore, two out of a thousand mothers giving birth are at risk of experiencing mental disorders. Peer support and counseling by professional health practitioners are the main interventions in postpartum depression care. This study aims to assess the feasibility of PT Nuno Care's business in terms of investment and revenue projections, identify optimal funding sources for service development, determine short-term and long-term financial strategies for business sustainability and design a financial model that includes operational costs, service rates, and profitability strategies.

Abstract

The present study reports the newest comprehensive study on pandemic era for the Infectious Disease acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) the number of people living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) continues to grow, this needs to be balanced with efforts to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS. The JPC Foundation (Jakarta Plus Center) is one of the important entry points for the community to reach out and educate on the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission in Bandung, West Java Indonesia. This study aims to determine the factors associated with HIV/AIDS transmission prevention behavior in HIV/AIDS sufferers in Bandung and Cirebon, West Java Indonesia who are within the reach of the JPC Foundation in 2022. This type of research was quantitative, with cross sectional, the study population was visitors to VCT clinics at shelters with a sample size of 85 respondents. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The research was conducted from May to November 2022 with univariate (average) and bivariate (chi-square) data analysis. Univariate results showed that HIV/AIDS prevention behavior was not good 78%, adult age> 25-49 (57.5%), secondary education 50.5%, risky work 69%, good knowledge 57%, negative motivation 62%, positive attitude 69%, negative family support 63%. Bivariate results show that there is a relationship between education (p=0.024), employment (p=0.002), OR=6.057, motivation (p=0.001), OR=7.221, family support (p=0.00) OR=7.778 with behavior prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission at the JPC Foundation shelter in Bandung. For VCT clinics to further improve counseling and education services, for volunteers and cadres who reach out to patients or families of people living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) to provide more support and assistance, also for the community not to discriminate against ODHA because they have HIV/AIDS.

The present study reports the comprehensive study after pandemic era for the prevention and education of Infectious Disease acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) among youth in Al-Chasanah high school, Jakarta Indonesia, caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) the number of people living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) continues to grow, this needs to be balanced with efforts to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS since earlier. This type of research was quantitative with educational preventive counseling. The characteristics of adolescents who are unstable so that they are easily influenced by the environment, it is necessary to instill various positive information to support adolescent cognitive development. It is hoped that adolescents will have positive (cognitive) knowledge which will continue in other aspects of attitudes, namely positive (affective) feelings that arise in adolescents, so that they also influence the tendency of adolescents to behave positively (conatively). In conclusion, that every student can understand and experience progress after the distribution of material. This can be compared with the pre-test and post-test diagrams where the average student can answer the test with the same questions before and after the distribution of material education.

Abstract

The present study reports the comprehensive study after pandemic era in early 2024, aims to determine an effective methodical approach in exploiting the impact of thought inequality when using social media as an effort to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT) infections. The preparation of this literature review uses the narrative literature review method by entering keywords into the PubMed, ProQuest, Wiley, CINAHL and databases of ScienceDirect. The results of the research show that the effective method used in utilizing social media in efforts to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT) infections including Network Monitoring Systems and direct intervention. The Network Monitoring System method can analyze the scientific role of health sociology in statistical data or social change trends which are used as material considerations in formulating health promotion policies. Meanwhile, direct intervention with a comprehensive educational approach in empowering individuals, communities or groups becomes a stimulant for one is the potential to oversee health problems independently. In conclusion, both produce outputs in the form of increasing awareness in the prevention and transmission of HIV/AIDS (LGBT), healthy sexual knowledge, minimizing stigma towards HIV/AIDS sufferers, getting accurate target tracing paths, education will be provided.

Abstract

The gap in access to education in Indonesia remains a serious problem, especially for low-income or poor families. To address this issue, the government launched Sekolah Rakyat Program, as a strategy for educational equality that emphasizes inclusiveness and social justice. This study analyzes the discourse on Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama 9, Bandung Indonesia policy using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), which encompasses three dimensions: text analysis, discursive practice, and social practice. Data was obtained through a documentary study of policy documents, online media coverage, and statements from school and government officials. The results show that in the text dimension, the use of diction such as free and digital-based education builds the image of a friendly and inclusive nation. In the discursive practice dimension, discourse is produced and disseminated by the government through the media to strengthen the positive political legitimacy of its results. In the social practice dimension, this program presents itself as a response to inequality and disparities in education while simultaneously creating a new social practice in the form of inclusive and dignified digital education in Indonesia. Critically, this study concludes that Sekolah Rakyat Program is not only an education policy, but also an instrument of ideological legitimacy and political hegemony, that shapes the narrative of a positive direction for educational equality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Occupational accidents in hospitals remain a safety issue that impacts the sustainability of services and organizational performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of Safety Leadership, Safety Climate, and Safety Self-Efficacy on Occupational Accidents with Safety Compliance as a mediating variable among employees at Tzu Chi Hospital. The study used a quantitative approach with an analytical survey design. Respondents numbered 296 employees from various work units. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) AMOS version 29 to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The analysis results show that Safety Leadership, Safety Climate, and Safety Self-Efficacy have a significant effect on Safety Compliance. Safety Compliance has a significant effect on Workplace Accidents. In addition, Safety Compliance is proven to mediate the influence of Safety Leadership, Safety Climate, and Safety Self-Efficacy on Workplace Accidents. These findings indicate that strengthening safety leadership, consistent perceptions of safety climate, and employee confidence in safety capabilities play an important role in shaping safe work compliance and reducing the incidence of workplace accidents. This study concludes that occupational accident prevention strategies in hospitals need to focus on strengthening safety leadership behaviour, a supportive safety climate, and increasing employee self-efficacy to encourage sustainable safety compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze internal factors that influence operational planning at PT Nuno Care, a postpartum care center with a focus on handling postpartum depression, understand the role of human resources, facilities, management processes, and technological capabilities in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operational services. To develop strategic recommendations for PT Nuno Care management to improve service quality, operational effectiveness, and business sustainability of the postpartum care center. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through literature studies, interviews with staff and management, and direct observation in the center's operations. The results of the analysis revealed that human resource factors, facility availability, management processes, and technological capabilities are crucial aspects that influence the effectiveness of operational planning. This study provides strategic recommendations for improving service quality and operational efficiency that can support the success of PT Nuno Care in providing optimal postpartum care. Nuno Birth makes services easier by creating an application that is integrated with payment systems, registration, communities and patient history checking.

Abstract

This study aims to capture the patterns of economic strengthening of the people of Jakarta, especially Central Jakarta, around the JPC foundation office in Indonesia. In order to alleviate poverty due to economic and social aspects, and through an approach by engaging the community and related communities, to synergize in achieving goals. The method used in this writing is a descriptive method. While the design used in this writing is a library studies design, where the author conducts a search for literature and then conducts a review. The synergy of poverty alleviation strategies has been formulated into five categories, namely: (1) institutional aspects of poverty alleviation; (2) policies and budgeting of programs for poverty alleviation; (3) human resources (4) data and information regarding poverty, and (5) monitoring and evaluation (monev) systems for poverty alleviation policies and programs. Implications are a form of mapping the synergy of poverty alleviation with patterns that involve the community and communities, so that goals can be achieved in a structured and systematic manner, especially for Generation Z.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Berdasarkan Permenkes Nomor 24 tahun 2022 rumah sakit diwajibkan menerapkan Rekam Medik Elektronik (RME), akan tetapi dalam implementasinya terdapat kendala, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi khususnya dengan menggunakan metode HOT-Fit yang dikembangkan dengan unsur visual akan digunakan untuk mengevaluasi sistem informasi pada penelitian ini. Tujuan peneltian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh human, organization, technology, terhadap benefit dan visual sebagai intervening baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Metode : penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian adalah eksplanatoris kausalitas. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu path analysis menggunakan AMOS . Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu responden pegawai rumah sakit yang mengoperasikan RME secara langsung sebanyak 110 pegawai. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Pada hasil didapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Human, Organization, Technology dan visual terhadap benefit sebesar 89.9%. Technology berpengaruh terhadap benefit dengan visual sebagai variabel intervening dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,218 > 1,96 dan nilai p-value sebesar 0,026 < 0,05. Kesimpulan: dalam penelitian ini adalah visual merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi benefit dari penggunaan RME. Tindak lanjut dalam implementasi RME, rumah sakit meningkatkan kualitas penggunaan RME dalam mendukung pelayanan RS yang baik.
