Abstract

Parents' attention to children's education in the household greatly determines the success of children in learning. This has a positive impact on behavioral changes and children's educational development. Parents must always pay attention to how their children learn at home so that their children get good achievements at school. The learning difficulties experienced by students are inseparable from the role of parents in providing guidance at home. The role of parents towards children is often influenced by the attitude of parents in providing guidance and coaching to children. The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the role of parental guidance on the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Kota Sorong and to be able to find out the factors that affect the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the method used in this study being qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the role of parental guidance for learning achievement of students of Class V SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, there are four parents who have not provided learning assistance to their children, and one parent has not fully provided learning assistance to their children, and two parents have not provided learning assistance to their children because parents are busy in their daily lives so that students have not received full learning assistance from parents. There are three roles of parental guidance on the learning achievement of Class V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, namely parents as student companions, parents as facilitators, and parents as student motivators. Factors that hinder tutoring activities from parents to children are such as parents who do not understand the material being studied by their children, a crowded home environment that is not conducive, and subject matter that is not clear or even absent in textbooks.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of Picture Card Media on the foundational reading abilities of Class II students at SD Negeri 21 Sorong Regency. This study employs a pre-experimental design. The study sample consisted of 14 students. The data collection instruments employed were performance tests and observations. The data analysis techniques comprise validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and hypothesis testing. The reliability test results yielded a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.853, indicating a high level of reliability. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test on the pretest data yielded a significance value of 0.379, which is greater than 0.05, while the posttest data yielded a significance value of 0.865, which is also greater than 0.05. The hypothesis test yielded a ????ℎ???????????????????? of 21.522 with dk = n-1 (14-1 = 13), resulting in a 2,160 sig 2 (tailed) value of 0.000. The results yielded a value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the sig value is accepted and rejected, indicating that there is an influence of the use of picture-word card media on the initial reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 21 Sorong Regency

Abstract

This type of research is Quantitative Research. This research aims to find out: (1) Letter Card Media applied by researchers to students; (2) Students' initial reading ability in all subjects. This research was carried out from 5 August to 14 September 2024, at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency. The method used in the research was the letter card method, namely looking at the form of relationship between the variables studied. The variables studied were letter card media and the beginning reading ability of second grade elementary school students. The research subjects were class II students at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency. The instrument used to obtain data was a questionnaire. Data processing from the questionnaire was carried out by analyzing product moment correlations according to the variables studied in the research, namely, parenting pattern variables (X) and students' initial reading ability (Y). The results of research using product moment correlation show that the calculated "r" value is -0.029, while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of letter card media and the initial reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency

Abstract

This study aimas to find out how the results of syllable and learning media affect the intial reading ability og grade I studentes of SD Inpres 16 sorong regerency. This type of research is quantitative research and uses the one group Pre-test Post-test design. The population of this study is all student in grade I of SD Inpres 16 Sorong Regerency for the 2024 academic year. The sampel used was 38 students. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses observation sheets and performance tests (pretest and posttest). The resulst of the study showed that the value of the intial reading ability of pretest students before using syllable car media was 0.856 and after the treatment of intial reading ability of the posttest was 0,882 and was in the very good category. From these results, there awas a significant difference in the ability to read beginning before and after using the syllable card media

Abstract

Reading ability is one of the abilities that must be developed at an early age. Language skills enable humans to be able to communicate with each other, whether it is communicating thoughts, feelings or attitudes. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of letter card media on the beginning reading ability of class I at SD Negeri 42 Sorong City for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The research design used in this research is one group pretest posttest design. This research will be carried out in Class I classes at SD Negeri 42 Sorong City. This research will be carried out on March 4-8 2024. The population of this research is all Class I students of SD Negeri 42 Sorong City, totaling 20 students. The sample used in this research was class I students with a sample size of 20 students. Based on the problem formulation proposed in this thesis and the research data and analysis, it can be concluded that the initial reading ability of the posttest using letter card media in class I is higher than the pretest without using letter card media. Based on the results of calculations using SPSS 21, the pretest results had a mean of 70, while the posttest results had a mean of 78.16 and ???????????????????????? = 1.724 while ????ℎ ???????????????????? = 4.375. So that ????ℎ???????????????????? >???????????????????????? and the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05. So H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that there is an influence of letter card media on the beginning reading ability of Class I of SD Negeri 42 Sorong City for the 2023/2024 academic year

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media visual inovatif non-digital "Tv Kardus" terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Aimas. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa akibat dominasi metode ceramah konvensional, di mana 30% siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas IV sebanyak 31 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal yang dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji hipotesis melalui Paired Sample t-Test berbantuan perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa secara signifikan, yaitu dari 63,39 pada saat pretest menjadi 88,71 pada saat posttest. Melalui pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh nilai t(hitung) > t(tabel) (22,804 > 2,042) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), sehingga Hipotesis Nol (H0) ditolak dan Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) diterima. Selain itu, nilai standar deviasi yang mengecil dari 12,00 menjadi 7,41 mengindikasikan terjadinya pemerataan kemampuan kognitif siswa di level ketuntasan yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan media pembelajaran Tv Kardus memberikan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan dalam meningkatkan sekaligus meratakan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah Aimas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) terhadap minat belajar IPAS siswa kelas III SD Inpres 18 Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa kelas III yang sekaligus dijadikan sampel penelitian melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket minat belajar yang telah melalui uji validitas ahli dan uji reliabilitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan Independent Samples Test dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji hipotesis pada pretest memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,576 (>0,05) yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan awal antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Setelah perlakuan diberikan, hasil posttest menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,028 (<0,05) yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Rata-rata minat belajar kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 59,20 menjadi 62,30, sedangkan kelas kontrol dari 60,23 menjadi 61,77. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STEAM memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat belajar IPAS siswa. Model STEAM mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan menarik sehingga mendorong keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kincir pintar terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf pada siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah Aimas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Pre Eksperimental design tipe One Group Pretest- Posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 22 siswa kelas I, yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes performance dengan soal pretest dan posttest berjumlah 52 soal. Analisis data mencakup uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test dengan bantuan Program SPSS Statistics 25.0. Hasil uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk menunjukkan nilai signifikansi pretest sebesar 0,739 dan posttest sebesar 0,885 (p > 0,05), yang berarti data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai t hitung = -57,024 dengan derajat kebebasan df= 22 dan nilai Sig. (2- tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga menunjukkan kesimpulan yaitu H₁ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kincir pintar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mengenal huruf siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah Aimas.
