Abstract

The ability of students in writing skills still experiences errors in the use of letters, especially in the use of capital letters. This study aims to determine errors in the use of capital letters written by students in the form of descriptive paragraphs at UPT SD Negeri 71 Gresik through qualitative research methods. Research subjects consisted of 10 students of class IV. Data collection was obtained from observation and tests, with a triangulation collection technique. The results of the study of 10 students who wrote descritive paragraphs with five aspects of the intended indicators were 5 students with errors in the first letter of the beginning of the sentence, 4 students with errors in the first letter of the persons name, 6 students with errors in the letters first the name of the day and month, 4 students with errors on the first letter of the place name, and 3 students with errors on the first letter of the essay title. With the analysis of errors in the use of capital letters in descriptive paragraphs, it is hoped that students will be able to broaden their vocabulary and create written works that have good grammer.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar dengan menerapakan model pembelaajaran concept setence berbantukan media kartu angka. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V UPT SDN 35 Gresik yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 20 peserta didik laki-laki dan 16 peserta didik perempuan. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam 1 siklus. Metode pengumpulan data yang diguanakan adalah observasi aktivitas peserta didik, observasi aktivitas guru, dan observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model concept setence untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dilakukan dengan melihat hasil lembar tes kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah pembelajaran dengan mencapai hasil prosentase 86,11% dengan kategori sangat baik. Model pembelajaran concept setence berbantukan media dengan berbagaii aktivitas berpikir kritis dapat dijadikan acuan untuk menyusun aktivitas yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis serta kemampuan lain yang diharapkan. Kata Kunci: concept setence, kartu, kritis Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students by applying the concept setting learning model with the help of number card media. Classroom Action Research Method (CAR) used in this study. The research subjects were students of class V UPT SDN 35 Gresik, totaling 36 students consisting of 20 male students and 16 female students. The procedure in this research consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research took place in 1 cycle. The data collection methods used are observation of student activities, observation of teacher activities, and observation of critical thinking skills. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that the application of the concept setting model to improve critical thinking skills is carried out by looking at the results of the critical thinking ability test sheet after learning by achieving a percentage of 86.11% in the very good category. The media-assisted concept setting learning model with various critical thinking activities can be used as a reference to develop activities that can improve critical thinking skills and other expected abilities. Keywords: concept setence, card, critical

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan kendala dalam penerapan pendekatan RME dengan model RADEC terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika materi soal cerita perkalian Kelas III SD ALMADANY Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes pemecahan masalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh terhadap penggunaan pendekatan RME dengan model RADEC. sedangkan untuk mengetahui kendala yang terjadi saat penerepan menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD ALMADANY Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 berjumlah 54 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan saat observasi keterlaksanan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME dengan model RADEC terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaan tahapan Discuss, Explain, dan Create yang di sebabkan karena peserta didik yang kurang aktif dan percaya diri. Hasil dari data statistik inferensial terdistribusi normal dan homogen sehingga untuk melihat pengaruh pendekatan RME dengan model RADEC menggunakan uji hipotesis independent sample t test yang mendapatkan nilai sig (2tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ”Hipotesis diterima” sehingga terdapat pengaruh dalam penggunaan pendekatan RME dengan model RADEC terhadap kemampuan pemecahanmasalah matematika materi soal cerita perkalian kelas III SD ALMADANY” Kata Kunci : Pemecahan Masalah, Pendekan RME, Model RADEC Abstract This study aims to determine the effect and obstacles in the application of the RME approach with the RADEC model on the ability to solve math problems in the multiplication story problem material of Class III SD ALMADANY in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this study is to use a problem solving test to determine the effect of the use of the RME approach with the RADEC model. while to find out the obstacles that occur when applying using the learning implementation observation sheet. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis The population in this study were all third grade students of SD ALMADANY in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 54 students. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done when observing the implementation of learning by using the RME approach with the RADEC model, there are obstacles in the implementation of the Discuss, Explain, and Create stages which are caused by students who are less active and confident. The results of inferential statistical data are normally distributed and homogeneous so that to see the effect of the RME approach with the RADEC model using the independent sample t test hypothesis test which gets a sig value (2tailed) of 0.000<0.05, it can be concluded that “ The hypothesis is accepted” so tan there is an influence in the use of the RME approach with the RADEC model on the ability to solve math problems in the material of multiplication story problems in class III SD ALMADANY. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika materi pembagian dua digit di SD Almadany Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa setelah diberi perlakuan dan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh terhadap model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Almadany tahun ajaran 2024/2025 berjumlah 54 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 6 soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah diberikam model pembelajaran Discovery Learning meningkat, yaitu dari kategori Kurang menjadi Baik. Hasil inferensial menunjukkan kelompok data yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga menggunakan uji paramterik yaitu independent sample dengan nilai Sig. 2 (tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dalam penggunaan model Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika materi pembagian dua digit kelas IV di SD Almadany. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Konsep, Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Matematika Abstract This study aims to determine the students concept understanding ability after the Discovery Learning model is applied an the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of two-digit division material at Almadany Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research is a test to determine the ability of students after being treated and to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on students concept understanding ability. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of Almadany Elementary School in the 2024/2025 school year totalling 54 students. Sampling using pre-test and post-test as many as 6 descriptions. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the ability to understand students concepts after being given the Discovery Learning model increases, namely from the category of Less to Good. Inferential results show that the data group is normally distributed and homogeneous, so using the parametric test, namely independent sample with a Sig value. 2 (tailed) of 0,000 < 0,05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of the Discovery Learning model on the ability to understand the concept of mathematics two-digit division material in class IV at Almadany Elementary School. Abstract

This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Gresik, Grade V, Academic Year 2023/2024. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model's influence on the mathematical reasoning abilities of fifth-grade students in mathematics, specifically in comparing the characteristics of flat shapes in logical reasoning. This research is a quantitative study using the experimental method. The data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaires. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the independent sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Additionally, according to the hypothesis testing rule thitung ≥ ttabel, the result of 2.25 ≥ 1.99 indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it shows that the adaptive mathematical reasoning ability with the Predict Observe Explain learning model is higher compared to the adaptive mathematical reasoning ability of students taught with the conventional learning model. The results of the calculations can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on students' mathematical reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews with homeroom teachers at UPT SD Negeri 12 Gresik there were several problems including the media used was still very weak because it was limited and lacked variety. Educators in conveying material only race on thematic books and limited learning media, namely in the form of posters, pictures, atlas books, maps, and globes so that they can influence the learning process of students by causing several problems, namely students still find it difficult to understand the content of the material , students are often sleepy, bored and play alone with their friends so they don't focus on participating in learning. This study aims to produce ROTARKAT (Traditional Clothing Rotating Wheel) media. The method used in this research is the 4-D development model which is modified into 3-D which consists of 3 stages only, namely: Define, Design, and Develop. Subjects in this study were 12 students. Data collection techniques and instruments used in this study were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The learning media ROTARKAT (Traditional Clothing Rotating Wheel) has gone through several stages of media expert validation and material expert validation with the final result of media validity obtaining an average score of 94.8% and 97.5% in the "very valid" category. So it can be concluded that the ROTARKAT media (Traditional clothing Rotating Wheel) can be used in the learning process. Keywords: ROTARKAT Learning Media; 4-D Model; Validity.

Abstract

The Morantara learning media (monopoly on the diversity of kingdoms in the archipelago) was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) research phase with the ADDIE development model modified by Branch. This study aims to develop Morantara learning media on the subject of the diversity of kingdoms in the archipelago for fourth grade elementary school students and find out the effectiveness of developing Morantara learning media. The subjects in this study were students of class IV UPT SD Negeri 292 Gresik. The data collection method used was in the form of media validation sheets, material validation sheets, and student response sheets. based on the results of data analysis the developed Morantara learning media is in very valid criteria with a score of 95.62%. The results of the material analysis on the developed Morantara learning media are in very valid criteria with a score of 95.85%. The results of limited trials conducted by researchers with three different learning models, showed that learning using the TGT learning model obtained higher results compared to the STAD and Inquiry Learning learning models, namely 98.66%, it can be concluded that Morantara learning media is more effectively used in class if using the TGT learning model. The Morantara learning media developed using the ADDIE model can be concluded to meet valid and effective criteria. Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found when the teacher delivered learning materials to the fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 104 Gresik. Based on research from several subjects that have a low level of enthusiasm for students' interest, it can be seen from the level of rereading or reviewing material in social studies learning about the diversity of traditional houses in Indonesia. This can hinder the teaching and learning process and the delivery of material by teachers to students, due to the limited media and learning resources that are fixated on books and sources from the internet, which is one of the obstacles for students to understand and remember traditional house materials in Indonesia. The next stage to overcome these problems, the best step to take is to provide an approach with students through the Fun Thinkers Book media which is able to involve students directly in teaching and learning activities so as to increase students' reading interest and understanding of students. The researcher mitigates the problem by using the ADDIE Analysis model, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the media development product is valid in social studies learning material on the diversity of traditional houses in Indonesia for class IV UPT SD Negeri 104 Gresik. The results of media validation that have been carried out by media experts get a percentage of 94.79% with the "very valid" category, besides that the material is also validated by learning materials experts to get a percentage of 100% so that the media is included in the "very valid" category. . From the validation results that have been carried out, it can be said that the Fun Thinkers Book media is suitable for use as a learning medium in the diversity of traditional houses in Indonesia. Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of developing folklore comic books for learning Indonesian, main idea material for class IV. Type of R&D (Research and Development) development research using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). This research was conducted at MI Al-Huda Banyutami in the even semester. The subjects of this research were 9 grade 4 students. Data collection techniques used validation questionnaires from material experts, language experts, graphics experts, and student response questionnaires. The research results on comic book development used a 4D model, but in this research, only 3 stages were used (Define, Design, and Develop). The results of the validity of folklore comic books can be seen from the validation results of the expert team, namely material experts who got a score of 91.6% which was categorized as very valid, language experts with a score of 93.75% in the very valid category, and graphics experts who got a score of 90.9% in the very valid category and student questionnaire responses which got a percentage of 93% in the very good category.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews at UPT SD Negeri 214 Gresik. This study aims to determine: (1) the process of developing the learning device of the Community Bagan (Bamas) Wallchart media for socio-cultural development material for grade V elementary school, (2) the validity of the Community Bagan (Bamas) Wallchart media for socio-cultural development material for grade V elementary school, and (3) student responses related to the Community Bagan (Bamas) Wallchart material for socio-cultural development for grade V elementary school. The research method used is research and development or Research Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model procedure. The results of the study indicate that the development of the Community Bagan (Bamas) Wallchart media learning device uses the ADDIE model, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The use of the Community Bagan (Bamas) Wallchart media that was developed has been validated by 2 experts, namely the media expert getting a percentage of 69% with feasible criteria, and the material expert getting a percentage of 76% with feasible criteria. Thus, the average obtained from the two experts is getting feasible criteria with a percentage of 72.5%. The average result of the student response questionnaire for the Wallchart Community Bagan (Bamas) media conducted comprehensively to grade V elementary school totaling 18 students was 86% and obtained very good criteria
