Abstract

This is a research and development study which aimed to design and implementation of media criticism and suggestions based on android mobile. The method used in the implementation of media criticism and suggestions are android based mobile in its design and the waterfall method using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) with two entities, namely administrators, and users. Media consists of 9 main processes are the main sign in process, user data processing, status and wall post data processing, message data processing, comment data processing, add friends, notifications, like and sign out. Implementation of media criticism and suggestions produced an android based mobile software that can be a medium for students to present criticisms and suggestions to be conveyed to the Undiksha and environment faculty of Undiksha. Media criticism and suggestions produced an android based mobile is a web-based application for administrators and users as well as applications for android users. Media criticism and suggestions in the implementation process of using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 as a text editor on creating web-based applications and the applications built using eclipse juno android, Java JDK7, Rev.20 SDK, ADT and built for devices with minimum android version 2.3 (API 10 ) for the implementation of database use MySQL.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an application that could convert a greyscale video into a colored video digital, easily and staining results were satisfactory. Input from the applications is greyscale video and color reference image, and the output of this application was a videocolored with shades of color that refers to the reference image input. This application was developed by using the method of Global Image Matching was implemented in the Java programming language environment with editor used NetBeans 7.2.1. On an application made there were three main processes that extract the video, the process of coloring, and render process. The extraction process was the process of breaking into the video and audio frames. Coloring process was a process that implements the Global Image Matching method, in which frame-frame extraction results would be coloring in this process. While the rendering process was the process of combining frames staining results with the extracted audio files into a videocolored. Based on test results, greyscale digital video conversion application to digital video color conversion process can be done very easily and quickly.

Abstract

Currently education and technology are something that is very closely related. Education would become more interesting through technology. Class activities in the learning process become more interactive by using projector in presentation. Therefore, the teacher easily teaches the knowledges to the students because they use more imaginative audio and visual media. At this time, mobile devices has become a primary needs. The children, teenagers, and adults use it very well, such as notebooks, smartphones, and tablet pc. Especially with the spread of the android os as public resources, thus making the penetration of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet pc are becoming increasingly vociferous. Even the mobile world has created a new mobile device that term "phablet" (phone tablet). Therefore, it is possible to use these tools to better facilitate the learning process and making it easier for application development, particularly for educational applications . This research aims to (1) design a Capture Screen Sharing application, (2) implement Capture Screen Sharing application design. The research methods used in this research is the development. Sharing Screen Capture is an application that will be developed by the researcher using android os to simplify the presentation process. This application is expected alternative to replace the projector with mobile devices and simplify the learning process for using mobile devices owned by students in showing the presentations from teachers's android devices which connected to the same wireless network.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Designing a Decision Support System Purchasing Investment Locations Settlements in Buleleng regency Method Using Web-Based Composite Performance Index. (2) Implement the Decision Support System Purchasing Investment Locations Settlements in Buleleng regency Method Using Web Based Composite Performance Index. The research method used is a research and development (research and development), aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) purchase of residential investment web location. This SPK load data investment criteria settlement locations obtained through interviews using a questionnaire with Mr. I Nyoman Mas Arya Wiryawan (as the housing developer Duta Mas), for the acquisition of data for each criterion obtained from relevant government agencies (the village board in Buleleng regency, part Bappeda spatial and land part PU). Use of this system is easy enough that users of these systems will be given the option to select multiple criteria in accordance with the investment criteria of investors in determining the location of settlements, where each criterion is assigned a weighting of interest (total 100%), with the determination of the scale of investment value. The results of this study form a web Decision Support System which can be used as a means of investment search residential location in Buleleng regency.

Abstract

Metode simplex adalah salah satu model matematika yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimisasi, yaitu memaksimumkan atau meminimumkan fungsi tujuan yang bergantung pada sejumlah variable input, metode simplex sangat berguna dalam berbagai bidang misalnya bisnis, tetapi kurangnya media pendukung untuk pembelajaran metode simplex membuat orang khususnya mahasiswa atau siswa enggan untuk mempelajarinya. Aplikasiaplikasi metode simplex yang sudah dikembangkan oleh peneliti lain sebelumnya masih mengkhusus atau hanya bisa digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tertentu saja sehingga tidak bisa digunakan untuk masalah lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat melakukan perhitungan metode simplex dengan memberikan cara perhitungan metode simplex dan hasil yang optimum. Input-an dari aplikasi ini berupa program linier dan output dari aplikasi ini adalah cara-cara perhitungan metode simplex dengan memberikan hasil nilai-nilai optimum masing-masing variabel dari permasalahan program linier sehingga mendapatkan solusi yang layak. Aplikasi tersebut diberi nama “Web Metode Simplex” yang diimplementasikan dengan bahasa pemrograman php dan javascript. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Web Metode Simplex telah dapat melakukan fungsinya dengan baik dari segi fungsional dan konseptual/ struktural. Web metode simplex dapat digunakan memecahkan dan memberikan suatu solusi untuk masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan metode simplex.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to: 1) improve student learning outcomes through True False techniques partisiatif approach, 2) determine students' response to the approach of Participatory Techniques True False. This study was conducted to further increase student participation in the learning KKPI through card statement containing the statement is true or false.  This study was classroom action research, which took place in the SMK N 1 Sawan and was taken in 2nd semester in the academic year 2012/2013. The subject of this research was the XIMM4th grade students of SMK N 1 Sawan in the academic year 2012/2013 with the object were result study research and the students’ response. The data of the students’ result study was collected by the test in every end of the cycle and the students’ response was collected by closed questionnaire.   The results showed that: (1) student learning outcomes has increased from cycle I to cycle II (2) The response of students to the True False Techniques Participatory approaches in KKPI subjects are in positive qualification.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine (1) the influence of differences in the use of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) with the Jigsaw cooperative learning activities toward Information Computer Technologi (2) the difference of influence in the use of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) with the type of cooperative Jigsaw toward Information Computer Technologi learning outcomes. It was a type of quasiexperimental study research design Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study population was all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja school year 2012/2013. As the sample in this study is a class VIII D and VIII E which was 60. Class VIII D is used as a first-class experiment with cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) and Class VIII E as a second experiment with the Jigsaw cooperative model type. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the test of normality and homogeneity of learning activities both normal distribution and homogeneous groups. Hypothesis test results of students' learning activities stated that there were significant differences influenced the use of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation with the Jigsaw cooperative learning activities toward Information Computer Technologi. Analysis of student learning outcomes data obtained, tests of normality and homogeneity distributed normal and homogeneous. The Results of hypothesis testing learning outcomes stated that there were significant differences influence the use of cooperative learning model with the Group Investigation Jigsaw cooperative ICT on learning outcomes. This activities shows that the result of cooperative learning by using learning media cooperative type of group investigation (GI) is different and better than jigsaw media cooperative learning.

Abstract

The use of devices such as tabletcomputers or interactive whiteboards utilizingtouch-screen technology in a presentation ofmore interactive digital presentations provide apositive impact in comparison to conventionallearning methods that use a regular whiteboard.By utilizing the wiimote remote control for theNintendo Wii game console, wiimote library,infrared LEDS and bluetooth a technologysimilar to interactive whiteboards can be develop.This study aims to 1) Design Smart TouchPresenter Kit application for interactivepresentations; 2) Implement the system desing ofSmart Touch Presenter Kit application forinteractive presentations; 3) Make an infraredLED pen that is used as an input device forSmart Touch Presenter Kit application; 4)Determine the optimal settings for the use of theWiimote to produce good detection of infraredlight.This application is developed using theWaterfall method and implemented in The C #programming language using the Visual Studioeditor. In the development of this application isalso combined with the use of the wiimote libraryfor reading data from the wiimote. Thisapplication can be run on a computer with aWindows operating system that supports the .netframework.This application has three main features: 1)Smart Touch presenter that transforms infraredcoordinate data into a computer cursor control;2) Smart Note that provide a feature to makenotes on the screen; 3) Magnifier that can beused to enlarge a specific part on the screen sothat it can be seen more clearly. The applicationis expected to help the users in deliveringpresentation to make it more interactive withaffordable cost.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan NHT berbantuan asesmen portofolio dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan TGT berbantuan asesmen portofolio. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Posttest-Only Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII 2 dan VII 3 yang berjumlah 66 orang. Kelas VII 3 digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen NHT dan VII 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen TGT. Terdapat dua jenis variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) variabel bebas adalah model pembelajaran NHT dan TGT berbantuan asesmen portofolio, dan (2) variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes  berupa  pilihan ganda  dan asesmen portofolio.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen NHT adalah 28,47 sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen TGT adalah 26,955. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, model pembelajaran NHT berbantuan asesmen portofolio lebih efektif diterapkan dibandingkan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan asesmen portofolio. Ratarata respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran NHT dan TGT dapat dikatakan bernilai cukup positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dengan cara  mengembangkan aplikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk memperkenalkan Pura Luhur Andakasa dan Pura Silayukti secara lebih interaktif dan menarik. Sehingga dapat menarik minat masyarakat untuk mempelajari buku tentang kebudayaan Pura Luhur Andakasa dan Pura Silayukti.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Augmented Reality Book Pengenalan Tata Letak Bangunan Pura Luhur Andakasa dan Pura Silayukti. Dalam mengembangkan aplikasi ini menggunakan model waterfall sampai tahap pengujian sistem. Aplikasi ini menggunakan library vuforia yang mampu menggabungkan benda maya ke dalam sebuah lingkungan nyata dengan bantuan buku dan smartphone android untuk menampilkan objek tiga dimensi bangunan  Pura Luhur Andakasa dan Pura Silayukti beserta suara narasi penjelasannya.  Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah buku yang berisikan informasi dan gambar terkait Pura Luhur Andakasa dan Pura Silayukti, serta aplikasi Augmented Reality Book berbasis android yang mampu menampilkan objek tiga dimensi bangunan pura tepat di atas gambar lengkap dengan suara narasi penjelasan dalam bahasa inggris. Sehingga aplikasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media untuk memperkenalkan sekaligus melestarikan kebudayaan.
