Abstract

This study aims to reveal (1) the effect of a work commitment on teacher performance; (2) the effect of job satisfaction on teacher performance. This research was conducted at public elementary schools in the city of Banda Aceh. The study population was all public elementary school teachers in the city of Banda Aceh totaling 481 people. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula, with a total sample of 218 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire which was filled in by respondents who came from teachers. Research analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with path analysis (path analysis). The research results show that:; (1) Work commitment has a significant influence on teacher performance, it is shown that ρ31 = 0.334; (2) Job satisfaction has a significant influence on teacher performance and it is shown that ρ32 = 0.268. The teacher performance model found in this study explains that improving teacher performance can be done through work commitment and job satisfaction which will directly lead to better teacher performance.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi siswa masih tergolong rendah, sehingga diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang mampu mempengaruhi kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, yaitu model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-11 MTsN 1 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 37 orang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Shot Case Studi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk proses pengumpulan data adalah hasil tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengajar, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan persentase dan deskripsi skor rata-rata sehingga diperoleh informasi tentang tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, kemampuan guru mengajar, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Discovery Learning efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan, (1) hasil tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa tinggi, 2) kemampuan guru mengajar berada pada kategori baik atau sangat baik, (3) aktivitas siswa aktif, dan (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif.

Abstract

Objectives. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of leg explosive power and ankle coordination on shooting skills in soccer games at the SSB Bontongan Club in Enrekang Regency Materials and Methods. The population is all athletes from the SSB Bontongan Club, Enrekang Regency with the number of samples used being 25 athletes with the sampling technique being the total population. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, data normality test, linearity test, categorization analysis and regression analysis using the SPSS 20.00 program at a significance level of 95% or α 0.05. Results. The results of the research show that leg muscle explosive power and ankle coordination have a significant effect on shooting skills in soccer games at the SSB Bontongan Club in Enrekang Regency by 84.4%. Conclusions. Based on the research results and discussions that have been presented, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power on shooting skills in soccer games at the SSB Bontongan Club in Enrekang Regency, 2) There is a contribution of eye-foot coordination on shooting skills in soccer games at the SSB Bontongan Club in the Regency, and 3) There is a contribution of leg explosive power and ankle coordination together on shooting skills in soccer games at the SSB Bontongan Club in Enrekang Regency.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PkM) aims to improve the management system of the Binangun Pagerharjo Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo as well as an effort to increase Village Original Income (PADes). This activity includes training and mentoring that emphasizes the importance of understanding the needs and challenges faced by BUMDes and the surrounding community, The results of the PkM carried out show that the management of BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo is still simple but has plans for future improvements. BUMDes can be an example for other BUMdes. In terms of innovation and development, BUMDes can be a source of village income. The management and strategies offered as a result of PkM are more about BUMDes management, namely operational systems and marketing digitalization, to strengthen the management system for BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo.

Abstract

This research is based on the low interest and understanding of students in the material on sequences and series, as well as the limited use of interactive learning media that can present real contexts in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to observe the process and results of developing contextual learning media based on Articulate Storyline on the material of geometric sequences and series. This research is a development research with an approach to Thiagarajan's 4D development model which consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this research trial were teachers and students of class X of SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Data was collected through validation sheets, teacher and student practicality sheets. The results of the validation analysis from experts show that the media obtained a validation score of 82.86% which is included in the very valid category, and the validation results by material experts were 75.76% which is included in the valid category. Based on the teacher's practicality sheet, the results obtained were 80.36% (Very Practical) and the results of the validation of the student's practicality sheet that was tested were 81.20% (Very Practical). Based on the overall results of the process of developing contextual learning media on the material of sequences and series assisted by Articulate Storyline, it is stated that it is valid and practical for use in learning activities.

Abstract

A teaching module serves as a structured learning tool aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, designed to meet established competency standards. However, a mathematics teacher in Banda Aceh reported the absence of a curriculum-compliant teaching module specifically addressing triangle-related topics. This study aims to develop a practical and pedagogically appropriate teaching module guided by the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. Given the nature of data collection, this research adopts a research and development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE model for systematic module development. Data were gathered through validation and practicality questionnaires, evaluated by subject matter experts, material experts, and teachers. The findings indicate that the teaching module demonstrates high validity, receiving scores of 95.00% from subject matter experts and 92.13% from material experts. In terms of practicality, the module also achieved strong ratings, with 88.16% from practitioners and 87.74% from students. Consequently, the teaching module is valid, practical, and suitable for implementation in classroom settings, warranting further trials and application in educational practice.

Abstract

The community needs-based community service activity of the Industrial Electronics Study Program, Department of Electrical Engineering (JTE) in Kampung Setaman, is an effort to solve the problems of the residents starting from the Covid-19-2020 period, where the residents of Kampung Setaman have around 100 pools, currently the remaining ones have decreased. In the 80s, most homeowners objected to paying for electricity to drive pump motors in fish ponds. As a result, some of the fish ponds died due to inactivity, ironically fish became a source of protein for the residents. Based on this, a solution emerged to create a Solar Power Generation System (PLTS). This is to provide solutions to residents' problems, so that the burden of electricity payments is reduced. Based on the objections to the electricity payment costs that emerged, the design of the PLTS included planning and empowering the pool as a healthy facility and business plan. This PLTS design refers to the concept of electricity distribution from one solar cell house (consisting of 4 cells) to 8 battery units. The aim of this PPIBM is to build a small-scale PLTS of 100 WP (400 WP), with the target of being able to activate 8 units of DC water pump motors for fish pond water circulation. The indicator of PPIBM's success is ensuring the process of storing unused electrical energy from solar cells for each battery. The solar cells are installed on a holo stand at a certain angle according to the direction of the sun, the position can be adjusted. Technical considerations get maximum solar intensity and excess energy can be stored in batteries. PLTS installation refers to the solar cell manual book, the service provider's contribution to the electronic system is so that the electrical energy activates the motor and some of it is stored in the battery (30%). The performance of the PLTS electrical system activates 8 motors during the day, 3 batteries supply electricity at night. The results of this installation are 4260 W (100 Ah) of power.

Abstract

Breakdown produksi merupakan salah satu peristiwa yang harus diminimalisir, bahkan dieliminasi pada setiap proses produksi di sektor industri. PT. X sebagai salah satu produsen baja nasional juga berupaya untuk mengoptimalkan proses produksi, mengingat modal yang dibutuhkan untuk memproduksi baja memiliki nilai yang relatif tinggi. Breakdown produksi perlu dianalisis dengan baik untuk mendapat solusi yang tepat dan akurat. Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan adalah fishbone diagram. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh diketahui dua kendala yang paling dominan terjadi selama periode Desember – Mei terjadi pada area Crop Shear (21%) dan Flying Shear (19%). Adapun pada area Crop Shear diketahui motor trip akibat terindikasi overspeed, sedangkan pada area Flying Shear motor bekerja abnormal akibat ada indikasi pompa oli yang mati. Tindakan perawatan dan perbaikan lalu dirancang berdasarkan hasil analisis yang didapat, yaitu penggantian parameter kerja motor Crop Shear, dan penggantian kabel indikator oil flow untuk motor Flying Shear. Hal ini perlu direalisasikan untuk mengantisipasi hal semula terjadi di masa mendatang melalui corrective dan preventive maintenance.Kata kunci: industri baja, diagram tulang ikan, diagram pareto, perawatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan jasmani dalam membangun karakter dan keterampilan sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Sinjai. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk memahami secara mendalam implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 120 siswa kelas VII dan VIII, 3 guru pendidikan jasmani, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan jasmani memiliki peran signifikan dalam membangun karakter siswa meliputi disiplin (85%), kerja sama (82%), sportivitas (78%), dan tanggung jawab (80%). Keterampilan sosial yang berkembang mencakup komunikasi efektif (79%), kepemimpinan (75%), empati (77%), dan kemampuan beradaptasi (81%). Faktor pendukung meliputi sarana prasarana memadai, kompetensi guru, dan dukungan sekolah. Hambatan yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan heterogenitas kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan jasmani terbukti efektif sebagai media pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui aktivitas olahraga yang terstruktur dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

This community service project is an implementation of research findings. Hydroponic farming offers an innovative solution to land scarcity and soil degradation in urban areas. Its success heavily depends on the management of nutrient solution quality, particularly in terms of electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature. In the local hydroponic farm, residents were still using manual methods that are inaccurate and lack data logging capabilities. Therefore, an EC and temperature sensor-based monitoring system integrated with LabVIEW was developed. The system is designed to provide real-time readings, color-coded visual indicators, and automatic data logging. Testing was conducted over six days at a lettuce hydroponic installation, yielding an average EC deviation of 3.2% compared to a reference device. The measured temperature range remained within the ideal range (26.1–28.3°C). The system operated stably with a 1-second reading interval, low power consumption, and compatibility with local conditions. Positive user feedback highlighted its ease of use and practical benefits in plant maintenance decision-making. Through this appropriate technology approach, the system has the potential to serve as a model for smart household-scale agricultural development in urban areas
