Abstract

Dalam konteks Indonesia, Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran, namun implementasinya di PAUD menghadapi tantangan, terutama terkait teknologi dan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis sibernetik di lembaga PAUD di Provinsi Banten, dengan fokus pada kesiapan lembaga, pendidik, dan akses terhadap teknologi. Metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan untuk menggali kondisi di tiga lembaga PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun TK Condrodimuko berhasil menerapkan kurikulum ini, tantangan seperti kurangnya literasi digital guru dan dukungan orang tua masih ada. Di TK Nur Amila, guru-guru berusaha beradaptasi, tetapi akses jaringan terbatas menghambat penggunaan teknologi. Sementara itu, TK Islam Al-Mumtaz belum menerapkan pendekatan sibernetik karena masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran sentra. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan PAUD di Banten serta mendukung kebijakan pemerintah dalam mewujudkan Kurikulum Merdeka yang inklusif dan adaptif.

Abstract

Abstract: So far, social studies learning has tended to be rote, and teachers present facts from the past, without the help of adequate media. In the era of digital technology, there are actually many applications that teachers can use to convey material in class to make learning social studies/science more interesting. The aim of the research is to determine the potential of the Old Banten Historical Site as a social studies learning resource based on the Powtoon application for elementary school students at SD Labschool UPI Serang Campus, Serang City, Banten. Powtoon is a simple to use web-based application that can be used to create animated videos attractively and quickly. The research was carried out using the R & D method from February 2024 to September 2024. Bearing in mind the importance of digital literacy skills for a teacher to be creative in teaching in the classroom. Animated Video Based on the Powtoon Application on the theme of Indonesia's rich culture in the fourth grade of elementary school, such as the uniqueness and customs of the people around me, the richness of Indonesian culture, as well as the benefits of diversity and preserving cultural diversity. In addition, the use of technology in learning media can stimulate students' interest and motivation to learn about social studies. One of them is the Indonesian Cultural Diversity animation video about the customs of the people around me and the richness of Indonesian culture, which can strengthen students as a way to strengthen the student profile of Pancasila, especially the Global Diversity component. The research method uses the Hannafin & Peck R & D Model which consists of three phases, namely Needs analysis, design, development and Implementation, all three of which involve evaluation and revision stages. Various historical relics were made into learning videos using the Powtoon application and used in the learning process at the Labschool UPI Elementary School, Campus Serang, as an effort to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, especially in the aspect of global diversity.

Abstract

The story of General Sudirman as one of the national figures in seizing Indonesia's independence from hard work has been visualized in the film. Of course, films related to events regarding independence need to be studied, understood and remembered so that the values of nationalism are embedded. This film is used as a learning medium in packaging stories into something interesting and meaningful for elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the short film of General Sudirman as a medium of learning in the social studies material of the colonial era in the fifth grade of elementary school. The approach used is the approach. The research method used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis which focuses on signs or symbols as markers interpreted with denotative meanings, connotative meanings and myths in a film. Data collection techniques used are observation, student journals, questionnaires, and documentation. Results Based on the research and discussion of the semiotic analysis of General Sudirman's short film as a medium of learning the three meanings, researchers can better understand the hidden meanings contained in the film. Get to know more about the figure of General Sudirman, know the myths believed by the public during the struggle for Indonesian independence and this film can be used as a learning medium because it can increase students' learning motivation with the value obtained reaching 3.00 with a fairly good category.

Abstract

The development of technology is inseparable from the role of humans as creators of culture; technology is a product of creation and human initiative. Technology produced by humans has both positive and negative impacts on humans themselves. The negative effects of this latest technological invention are often used to over-exploit nature and make it easier for humans to meet their daily needs. Awareness of the importance of preserving nature by realizing green behavior or life-friendly behavior towards the environment can be started from the formal education pathway from elementary school to university. To realize awareness about green behavior, knowledge and competence in Environmental literacy are needed. Environmental literacy competence relates to head/mind or aspects of knowledge (learning to know), heart/hand skills (learning to do), and spirit / spiritual (learning to live together). Environmental literacy aims to build a community that agrees on how to understand conceptual ecology in the practice of special education in elementary schools. In addition, it is also an environmental literacy to realize pedagogical processes that are based on local wisdom and directly require the participation of the community in its implementation. The purpose of the research was to improve ecoliteracy in fifth-grade students of Mekarsari State Elementary School, Bogor Regency, West Java. The research used a classroom action research method with 21 fifth-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The model of interactive qualitative data analysis techniques was conducted to analyze the research. The results of the research showed that the science, technology, and society model could improve the eco-literacy of students of Mekarsari State Elementary School, Pulo Merak, Cilegon from 70 to 76

Abstract

The Baduy community, located in Lebak Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia, represents an indigenous group that has preserved ancestral traditions amidst modernization. This article explores the social organization system of the Baduy community, including its hierarchical structure, customary norms, leadership roles, and interactions with the outside world. The social structure, led by the Puun as the spiritual leader and the Jaro as the administrative manager, is central to the community's continuity. Customary norms, known as "pikukuh," regulate all aspects of life, from social relations to environmental conservation. Despite facing modernization challenges, the Baduy community, particularly the Outer Baduy, demonstrates adaptability without losing cultural identity. This article adopts a descriptive approach, referring to recent literature and research, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the harmony between tradition, spirituality, and ecological sustainability in the Baduy community. The study highlights the Baduy community as a model of how traditions and local values can serve as a foundation for sustainable community management in the modern era.

Abstract

When a student becomes an active doer during the learning process, the advantage of their mindset can be realized. The understanding process started when the teacher created a class atmosphere that attracted student’s curiosity. By throwing questions such as "What do you notice?" and "What do you wonder?", the teacher helps students to look at problems from a wider angle. This will improve students’ confidence, reflective skills, and student’s involvement, it reveals that the aim of studying is not only for completing assignments but also for finding strategies to overcome problems. This will result in a classroom space full of student’s thoughts and ideas that contain curiosity. Sometimes, the process of apperception in the learning process is not fully utilized by the teacher to help students connect the relationship between previous and future material. Thus, students frequently tend to feel confused in understanding the material as a whole. The I Notice I Wonder method was invented to facilitate and ease teachers in utilizing the apperception process as a means to involve students to be a thinker and actor during active learning, and also to commit authority over students to be active doers by appreciating their opinions and ideas. This study focuses on the importance of the teacher’s role during the apperception process in order to help students understand the connectedness between topics of materials.

Abstract

Cultural diversity literacy and local wisdom serve as a foundation for instilling values of tolerance, appreciation for differences, and preservation of the nation's cultural heritage. This study aims to explore cultural diversity literacy and local wisdom in science learning for fourth-grade elementary students. The problem in this study is the low understanding of students in science learning related to the material of cultural diversity. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are fourth-grade elementary students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by reducing, displaying, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the integration of cultural diversity literacy and local wisdom in science learning for fourth-grade elementary students has great potential to improve the quality of learning. The provision of locally-based teaching materials and training for teachers is an important step. Culture-based learning can be a solution to improve the relevance of science learning to students' lives

Abstract

The integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education has emerged as a promising approach for developing 21st-century skills, yet empirical evidence of its effectiveness in primary education remains limited. This study investigated the effectiveness of STEAM approaches on critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning among elementary school students. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent group posttest-only was employed involving 64 fifth-grade students at SDN Patrasana 1 during the 2024/2025 academic year. Participants were divided into experimental (n=32) and control (n=32) groups using purposive sampling based on equivalent baseline performance. The experimental group received STEAM-based instruction while the control group experienced conventional teaching methods. Data collection utilized validated instruments measuring critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes, supplemented by observation and documentation. Statistical analyses included normality testing, homogeneity assessment, MANOVA, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 27. The STEAM approach demonstrated statistically significant effects on both critical thinking skills (F = 14.861, p < 0.001) and scientific attitudes (F = 9.991, p = 0.002). Multivariate analysis confirmed simultaneous positive effects on both variables (p = 0.001). The STEAM approach explained 19.3% of variance in critical thinking skills and 13.9% of variance in scientific attitudes, indicating meaningful practical significance. These findings provide robust empirical evidence supporting STEAM education effectiveness in primary contexts, addressing a critical knowledge gap in educational research. The results validate theoretical frameworks emphasizing integrated approaches while demonstrating that STEAM implementation can successfully develop multiple learning dimensions simultaneously, supporting early intervention strategies for 21st-century skill development.

Abstract

In this study it was found that the system used in the data processing process was still manual and semi-computerized using paper and Mirosoft Excel. This still causes difficulties for employees when looking for data on students who have not made payments and who have made payments, recording expenses, and when compiling reports. The method used in this research is System Depelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes planning, needs analysis, design, code, test, maintenance, and hardware and software requirements. The author uses Flowmap analysis, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Data Dictionary, Structure Chart. The implementation of the school financial information system in smk ganesha cimanggung is built using Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. The results of designing this information system to facilitate employees in finding the balance of receipts, payments, expenses and making reports

Abstract

Baduy merupakan salah satu masyarakat adat yang ada di Indonesia. Masyarakat adat Baduy merupakan suatu kelompok masyarakat adat Sunda yang hidup dan tinggal di Desa Kanekes, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten, Indonesia. Masyarakat Baduy menghadapi tantangan besar terkait akses pendidikan. Meskipun terdapat peraturan adat yang membatasi pendidikan formal, masyarakat mulai terbuka terhadap pendidikan nonformal yang lebih fleksibel. Sastra lisan menjadi jembatan antara tradisi dan pendidikan modern pada masyarakat Baduy. Sastra lisan merupakan salah satu warisan budaya tak benda yang memiliki peran sentral dalam kehidupan masyarakat adat, termasuk masyarakat Baduy. Dalam tradisi masyarakat Baduy, sastra lisan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai medium penyampaian cerita, mitos, atau legenda, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pendidikan nonformal yang menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, sosial, dan spiritual kepada generasi muda. Seiring dengan masuknya pengaruh globalisasi ke dalam kehidupan masyarakat Baduy, terutama di wilayah Baduy Luar membawa tantangan baru bagi keberlanjutan sastra lisan ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui eksistensi tradisi dan sastra lisan sebagai media pendidikan masyarakat Baduy Luar di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnografi. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu observasi awal, verifikasi data, dan analisis. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini mencakup data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tradisi dan sastra lisan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan masyarakat Baduy, baik Baduy Dalam maupun Baduy Luar. Adapun peran tradisi dan sastra lisan tersebut yaitu sebagai penanaman nilai-nilai luhur, pemeliharaan identitas budaya, pengendalian sosial, dan media komunikasi. Pelestarian sastra lisan tidak hanya penting untuk menjaga identitas budaya Baduy, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi bagi khazanah budaya Indonesia secara keseluruhan. Upaya pelestarian tradisi dan sastra lisan Baduy memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif dan melibatkan berbagai pihak.
